The scene opens up at a Gym where The APW Tag Team Champions, Hardcore Ice, The Hardcore Kid and Jason Royce are working out, getting ready for another title defense on Overdrive. The Kid is seen running on the treadmill and you see Royce on an exercise bike. The Hardcore Kid stops his tread mill and gets of it of and grabs his water bottle and takes a drink before putting it down on a near by bench. The Kid then grabs a towel and wipes his face as he yells to Royce
THK: HEY JASON, I’M GOING TO GRAB A SHOWER BEFORE WE GO
Royce gives The Kid a thumbs up, recognizing that he heard what the Kid said. As the Kid is heading towards the shower room, he is stopped by Cindy Shannon and a APW Camera man.
Cindy: Hardcore Kid, can I have a moment of your time?
THK: You sure can sweet cheeks.
Cindy: What are your thoughts going into Overdrive this Monday.
THK: On Overdrive, we face off against two chicks. Now, I have nothing against women in the wrestling business. And I have no problem even wrestling them. But the question I ask is. How the hell does these two chicks get a tag team title shot against Hardcore Ice. Seriously. I mean, at Shockwave, The Iceman and I went to hell and back against Sabur and Tony Blackwell and we managed to keep our tag team titles. And what did you guys do? For one, you both lost. And Two, you both haven’t done anything worth of getting a title shot. But that’s all fine and dandy because this is APW, the land of opportunities. Jason and I we’re grateful for our opportunity at the tag titles and we jumped all over it and became champ. But the story won’t be the same for you, Fyre Angel and Kristina Blackwell. At Shockwave, we took care of one Blackwell and sent him packing and this week on Overdrive I have no problem doing the exact same thing to another Blackwell. One thing I noticed about all Blackwell’s. They suck. I don’t want to say that this match will be a walk in the park, because no match is an easy one, and I don’t want to sound like I’m underestimating these girls. But come on. I mean…come on. Hardcore Ice defeated That Team of Spirit and Diana Steel. We defeated Sabur and Tony Blackwell not once but twice. And I don’t care about their history and what not because this is APW, and Hardcore Ice is making history here by being the longest reigning APW Tag Team Champions, and we don’t plan on laying down for anyone and we don’t plan on taking it easy on anyone.
Cindy: Now that you’ve proven yourself, how does it feeling going into matches.
THK: For the first time in my career, I’m going into a match where I don’t feel like an Underdog and I’m loving that feeling. For the first time in my career, the odds aren’t stacked up against me and that’s a big wait off my shoulders. Hardcore Ice is going to go into this match, calm, cool and collective and we’re going to show Fyre Angel and Kristina Blackwell just why we are the tag team champions.
Cindy: Kristina thinks that she’s better than both you and Royce put together and thinks your both “B” Wrestlers. Your thoughts on that comment.
THK: For Kristina Blackwell to say to the world that we are “B” wrestlers, that’s fine. I’m not here saying that I am the best and am world title material because I’m not. Maybe one day, but not now. My problem with that comment is simple. For someone who isn’t an “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, ‘E” or even an “F” superstar say’s we aren’t good enough, or when someone who has an IQ of the same number of wins think that they are better than Hardcore Ice, then we have a problem.
Cindy: And what about Fyre Angel.
THK: She wants to go and call us jokes, well guess what honey. This isn’t CWF, this isn’t WWC, I could care less of any of your accomplishments there because here, we’re in APW, and if you want to talk about jokes, then you’re on the top of that list. I mean, who was the last person you beat Fyre? It’s been so long that no one remembers and no one cares. And what’s even a bigger joke is that your getting a title shot. The fact of the matter is that at Overdrive, Hardcore Ice walks out with the titles.
Cindy: And final thoughts?
THK: Kristina, go a head and make vampire moves all you want. Fyre, It’s bad enough that we barely understand you when you talk English, but now your speaking Spanish. You’re a lost cause. I’ll admit, you two girls are hot as hell, but its going to take more than your good looks and your PMS to take these titles from Royce and I. So at Overdrive, you two better bring it because Hardcore Ice is not going to take it easy on you two cause your girls. And don’t get mad at us if your looks aren’t up to par after we are done with you.
The Kid walks away heading towards the shower room.
