What do you guys think of the Aftershock poster and Banner?
I made them last night while playing around on Photoshop. This is my first Attempt at making banners and posters and what not, and to be honest, I have no idea how I made it turn out like that ;D

It awesome for you first attempt man but you cut abit of the title belt off lol, I tried installing it on my PC but it won't it takes 2 hours so decide not to. lol

Photoshop takes a lot of practice to get mediocre at. And, even then, even if you learn how to use all the functions, etc, if you're unoriginal and have no sense of colour or detail or anything like that, you're stuff will suck.
Anywho, I never saw Jeff's poster, since I haven't been around all week. That being said, I started reading this thread, and thought that Iggy's poster was Jeff's first try, and I thought "how'd that son of a bitch get so good so fast".
So, yeah, great posters. You took my old formats and gave it your own twist, without making them look out of place with my old stuff. Kudos, Iggy.

Yeah it's hard to master I know that but use to use it when I was at school for my art project's and stuff but not as good as you, Iggy or Dr Phate man.

Hey went for school for this and yes it takes more than just using Photoshop and Illustrator than just knowing what the tools are. I have been teaching my wife on how to use Photoshop for her classroom. Takes skill it really does. Saying that, glad you like it Dr. Matt considering I am the graphics guy until you get your computer and Dr. Phate pops up again. |

Just keep trying things put them up for us to look at. If it sucks I will tell you but I will also always say what you have done right. It take a lot of practice and a willingness to hear the good the bad and the ugly
