The scene opens up backstage at an event. In the locker room, you see the Hardcore Kid walking on his cell phone.
THK: No what man..........well this sucks, looks like I’m on my own now............don’t worry, take care of yourself and come back soon Vinnie........talk to you later.
The Kid turns off the cell phone and then looks at the camera that just happens to be filming him.
THK: I’m just going to get this out of the way now. At Rasslemania, Trevor Blackwell, you seriously hurt my best friend in this business and because of it, he’s unable to compete for a while. And that doesn’t make me happy. So next week Trevor, I challenge you to a match at Overdrive. I want revenge for what you did to Vinnie and believe me, the outcome won’t be the same as New Years Retribution.
And now onto Overdrive this Monday. Win. That all I need to do and I’m guaranteed myself a shot at the Xtreme title. And who am I fighting, Razor Ryan. Ryan, you may think I’m a loser for only having one win. You may think that I’m not a threat because of it, but you couldn’t be more wrong. Because now I have a fire lit under me. I have something worth fighting for. Now, I’m fighting for Vinnie Hardcore. To make him proud of me. And now, The Xtreme title.
