The Happiest Place on Earth
July 19, 2009
* The scene opens up inside Disneyland in Anaheim, California. It is 2 pm and in the middle of Main Street U.S.A. there is a parade going on. Hundreds and hundreds of people gather around to watch. There is a special treat for the people as real Disney stars such as Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and Dylan and Cole Sprouse are invited into the parade. They are all singing and having a good time. They have everybody’s attention. There are security guards everywhere protecting the child stars. Mickey Mouse and his gang of cartoon characters are also in the parade dancing around.*
Miley Cyrus: “Is everyone having fun!?”
* The crowd all cheer holding their Mickey Mouse balloons and over priced bottles of water and funky Mickey Mouse ears.*
Selena Gomez: “We are too! And we are so excited to see everyone here at the Happiest Place on Earth!”
Dylan Sprouse: “Let’s get some of you kids out here to dance with us!”
* As the twins are trying to get people up there on the floats to dance with them and the Disney characters from various movies everyone starts to leave. One by one kids and adults begin to run toward the statue where Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse are holding hands.*
Dylan Sprouse: “Where is everyone going? The party is over here!”
* As more and more people leave the parade area it has become clear that there is something happening by the statue. The scene moves over there to reveal that none other than Jesse Nunez is there along with his wife Victoria are there signing autographs as they try to walk through the crowd. Jesse has ten Disney employees escorting him and his wife around the park but people still get through and Jesse with a pen out is signing everything that is coming his way.*
* The Disney stars that took time out of their schedule on this Sunday afternoon are starting to get irritated that nobody is paying attention to them, but instead a wrestler/ music artist/ actor is getting the whole park to notice him even though he does not want the attention.*
Cole Sprouse: “Yo Jesse Nunez! How about you come out here to the parade and show everyone how to have a good time.”
* Jesse looks up and he stops signing autographs, he holds Victoria’s hand and they walk over to the parade. He climbs up onto the float where all the Disney stars are as Victoria follows behind him.*
Selena Gomez: “So Jesse, what brings you to Disneyland today?”
Jesse Nunez: “Well yesterday was my wife’s birthday and today its my birthday. So we decided that Disneyland would be a fun place to celebrate our birthdays.”
* The couple then point to their birthday pins they had received when they were at the ticket booth yesterday getting their free tickets.*
Selena Gomez: “Oh, Happy Birthday you two.”
Jesse Nunez: “Thank you.”
Selena Gomez: “So before everyone noticed you, we were in the middle of a parade. And we want to show everyone here on Main Street in Disneyland what its like to have some real fun. Will you help us?”
Jesse Nunez: “I don’t see why not?”
Selena Gomez: “Good.”
* Some Disney song begins to play through the speakers on the floats as all the Disney stars begin to dance again. By this time Mickey and the gang jump up onto the float and start dancing too. Jesse looks at Victoria and she could do is smile and shrug her shoulders. They too begin to dance as the people in the crowd begin to cheer. By one of the shops there is a mini bakery that also sells ice cream. They have a cake made for today already in displayed by their window. A Disney employee runs over there and asks the bakery to write Happy Birthday on it. They do and the employee brings it to the float without the knowledge of Jesse. They hand it to Dylan Sprouse. His brother gets on the microphone.*
Cole Sprouse: “Hey Jesse, Happy Birthday.”
* Jesse turns around and sees the cake being tossed at his face from Dylan. Jesse ducks and the cake hits Mickey Mouse in the face. The crowd laughs as Jesse looks over at Mickey. Mickey Mouse wipes the cake from his face and looks over at Jesse. Mickey points at Jesse and Jesse looks confused. Mickey Mouse throws a punch toward Jesse and he dodges the white glove. Everyone on the float jumps off as does Victoria. All that there is left is Mickey Mouse and Jesse Nunez.*
* People in the crowd are recording this parade on their phones and video cameras. A little girl wearing a Mickey Mouse t-shirt and wearing Minnie Mouse ears in the front of the crowd looks up at her mom.*
Little Girl: “Mommy, why is Mickey Mouse trying to beat up that man?”
* Mickey Mouse then tries to kick Nunez and his him in the shin.*
Jesse Nunez: “What are you doing Mickey!?”
* Mickey Mouse punches Jesse and this time connects in the face. This angers Nunez and he decides to fight back. Jesse and Mickey lock up, but Mickey sends a series of knee strikes to Jesse’s abdomen. Jesse backs off and then sends a “Superman” punch to Mickey’s face knocking him down to one knee. But as he does some Disney singer on another float jumps in front of him and gets in the way of Jesse’s punt. Jesse punts the man in the pelvic area to the cheers of the crowd. The man rolls off the float.*
* Jesse looks over at the man that got in his way rolling on the ground crying. Mickey Mouse uses this as a distraction and punches Jesse in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. Jesse falls to one knee now. By then all the other cartoon characters such as Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, etc; have gathered all together to the side of the float that Jesse Nunez and Mickey Mouse is on. Mickey Mouse points at Jesse and gives him a classic “DX” salute. Jesse looks up at the oversized mouse running toward him looking to finish Jesse off. But Jesse quickly gets up and lifts Mickey Mouse over him flipping him over toward the cartoon characters with The Resurrection!*
* Everyone watching the parade is in shocked at what just took place. Jesse looks down at Mickey who seems to be knocked out onto the floor. Goofy and Donald grab Mickey by the arms and drag him across the street into a backstage area. Jesse grabs the microphone from next to his foot.*
Jesse Nunez: “Thank you for watching the show everyone. Please enjoy the rest of your stay here at the Disneyland Resort.”
* The scene begins to fade as Jesse gets off the float so he too can continue enjoying his birthday with his wife Victoria.*
Later that Night
* The scene opens up with a family sitting on a couch. They are all watching television as the father changes the channels with the remote in his hand looking for something to watch. It then flips to the Fox news station. He leaves it there to see what is happening in the world.*
Anchorwoman: “Earlier today at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California a fight broke out and we got it all on tape thanks to amateur film recorder Derek Young. Why show you this footage? Well it has two celebrities going at it in the middle of a parade. Take a look.”
* The video begins to play. With footage starting with Jesse Nunez getting up on the float.*
Derek Young: “I can’t believe that Jesse Nunez’ is here!”
* The video continues on and then shows the fight between Jesse Nunez and Mickey Mouse. The video then ends and returns back to the anchorwoman.*
Anchorwoman: “From the look of the footage it seems that it was all instigated by those adorable little twins and Mickey Mouse started the fight. I am being told that the person in the Mickey Mouse costume was fired when he regain consciousness and took off with the costume. If you know of the whereabouts of Mickey Mouse please call local authorities as it is property of Walt Disney Enterprises.”
* The family watching television look at each other with dumbfounded stares as the scene begins to fade.*

* The scene opens up inside the ring at a house show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as Jesse Nunez is standing in the ring with his wife Victoria by his side. Everyone is cheering as his music begins to die down. Jesse begins to speak into the microphone.*
Jesse Nunez: “A few weeks ago you all were witnesses to the new era of Action Packed Wrestling. The era of The Prodigy. It all began at Test for the Best pay per view when I went through guys like Streets Wilson and Biggs with no problem whatsoever. Then in the third and final round I went one-on-one with John Green; a nobody still tryin’ to become something in the business.”
“Its funny how things turned out for you Green. I mean when you were in Extreme Wrestling Corporation you couldn’t do anything to move up the ladder because guys like me were there to kick you down when you tried to pull yo’self up. So you left that company and you came here to Action Packed Wrestling where you saw yo’self makin’ a new start to yo’ career, hoping to wipe the slate clean. Which you did, you became the World Champion in no time. But then guys like Level One from EwC came here and took that title away from you.”
“Though luckily for you, there was still nobody else here better than you to take that number one contender spot. You fought the good fight every night but still had nothing to show for yo’ actions. Until one day you get a number one contender match for the APW World Championship. You fought another tough battle and came so close, but then another EwC guy came outta no where and took that number one contender spot from you didn’t he? Hell after that Pence went on to win the championship all because of that match with you.”
“Now you are probably one pissed off dude right about now and you stomped into Hurricane Jeff’s office and demanded to be put into Test for the Best, knowing that the winner will go onto Shockwave to have a guaranteed title shot for the World Heavyweight Championship. Of course Jeff being the worthless piece of trash that he is, lets you into the tournament. You saw guys like Biggs, Slade, and Wilson being thrown into the tournament and you knew they could not interfere with yo’ plans because you are better than all of em’.”
“But you weren’t counting on one man being put into the tournament.”
“Me.”
“You nearly tore yo’self into pieces with the thought of me wrestling you at the pay per view. All these years of jealousy comin’ out into the open. But this jealousy went further back from before EWC, isn’t that right Green? Back before I even dreamed about steppin’ into a wrestling ring. Oh yeah that night is just as clear as the winner of this week’s Overdrive. When yo’ brother decided to be the sore loser that he was and shot up me and my whole crew back in Phoenix. I was out of commission from life for seven months John. Then when I get to EwC and you confessed to me that yo’ brother was the same man who lost that battle. That you were one of the guys who shot at me. Then you had the audacity to beg for forgiveness?”
“Green you and yo’ brother killed six of my friends that night. Forgiveness is not an option for you. I should’ve killed you that very moment you decided to come out the closet. But for some very stupid reason, forgiveness came from me. Years went by and now we are back here and its plain to see that you do not show any remorse for yo’ actions several years ago. You brought past out into the open at Test for the Best and figured it was just edge you needed to get over that mountain that I was climbing right beside you.”
“You said at Test for the Best you were gonna end my run in the wrestling business and finish what you should have done a long time ago. But here I am still standing and now this week you have another chance to do what you set out to do. But this time I will be prepared for you and there is no tellin’ what I might do to you. I might just show up with a few weapons and friends because Green I don’t care about wins or losses in this second round. I’m just focused on hurting you, not because the fans want to see yo’ ass kicked, but because I want to see you suffer like my friends suffered, bleed like my friends bled, struggle for air like my friends did layin’ on the sidewalk, shut yo’ mouth for good like my friends did.”
“You know its funny Green. The only reason why I became a wrestler was to inflict pain on others like the pain I felt that night. If you think about it, it is you that’s responsible for me being a wrestler today.”
* Jesse tosses the microphone to the side of the ring as his music begins to play. The scene begins to fade with Jesse and Victoria leaving the ring.*
