Time for another Face book blog from everyone’s favorite Xtreme Champion, The Hardcore Kid
First off, I’d like to Thank everyone for the birthday wishes. I turned 20 yesterday. It was a pretty good day. Got a few gifts. Some gift cards for a few stores mostly. Got together with a few of my friends and played some Rock Band. A Fun time it was. The game is a whole lot funner once you get some drinks into you. Especially when your so drunk and you can barely talk and you try singing. Now I didn’t do that, but if you get someone else to do it, I guarantee you that you’ll have a great laugh.
Now onto business. This week on Overdrive, I have to face on of the new guys if APW, Nick Santos. Nick and I faced off in a match on last week’s Overdrive when Twister decided that he wanted the spotlight focused on him when he decided to retire. Twister, your only retiring because reality is showing you that your old, broken down and you see that you just don’t have what it takes anymore. You see new talent come in and you see that your not as good as you once we’re. So now you go hide with your tail between your legs. Twister, if you we’re any much of a man, you’d give the fans one more match, and give me one more match. I want you in the ring Twister, and I’m not going to stop hounding you until I get it.
But back to this Wednesday on Overdrive. You came in after Rasslemania, picked up a win against a nobody, and now, any luck you have in this company has come to an end. You know what Nick, its pretty simple. Let me remind you who I am. I am, The Hardcore Kid. I am the current APW Xtreme Champion. The Longest Reigning APW Xtreme Champion. And if you think you have any shot at beating me, you have another thing coming pal. Even though this is a non title match, I’m not taking it easy on you. I’m still going to hit you twice as Hard. I’m still going to do what it takes to win.
This past Wednesday, I had you where I wanted you. I was about to put an end to you and beat you. Lucky for you, Streets Wilson and President Jeff shut down the party and I could beat you. This time, its going to be different. There’s going to be no one to stop us this time. Nick, it will be game over for you.
I have nothing to gain in this match, but you Nick, a huge opportunity. If you can beat me, it means you beat a champion and its put you in the running for a shot at the Xtreme Title. But you know what, I’ll do one better. Nick, If you can beat me on Overdrive, I will give you a shot at the Xtreme title. Hows that?
Nick, here’s your chance to make a name for yourself, here’s your chance to be somebody. I hope you take advantage of it and not be like the many people who’s come through APW and then turned around and walked out. Nick, I don’t think your going to beat me. I don’t think your gonna show up ready to fight. But you know what, I really hope you prove me wrong. I hope you show up at Overdrive with your “A” game and take me to the limit. Show me and APW just what kind of wrestler you are. Show us that you are deserving of a shot at my Xtreme Title even if I do beat you.
Show me what you got Nick. Show me what your made of. Bring your high flying arsenal with you. And throw everything you got at me, because you’ll need to if you want to come out on top. But even with all that Nick, it just might not be enough, because I’m the Xtreme Champion for a reason and at Overdrive, I plan on sending your ass STRAIGHT TO HELL!
