The Hardcore Kid back for another facebook blog. I’ve thought about joining up on Twitter, but it just kind of creeps me out with the whole following and followers and all that stuff. I’m just going to stay away from it.
So I just flew back in this morning to Vegas after having a painful Xtreme Title match on Overdrive last night. I got the win, retained my title, but had a chunk of my hair ripped out of my head for it. But that’s the price you pay for being the APW Xtreme Champion. But one thing that made me happy from the event. And that was Twister accepting my challenge. The man finally decided to grow a pair and accepted my challenge for Mayhem. I can’t wait to put an end to Twister once and for all and destroy any credibility he has as a legend.
But now, next week on Overdrive, I’m teaming up with APW’s newest addition, Biggs, to take on a man I already beat, Assassin and his partner, Slade Craven. Now, two things can happen here. My Partner can be one of those guys who sign the APW Contract and then disappear. Or, Biggs can show up at Overdrive, we can kick some ass and he can be a major asset to the company. And I always like to give someone the benefit of the doubt. And you know what, part of me is honored to have the new guy teamed up with me, because I can be responsible for his career here in APW with just one match. On one hand, I can help him get the win, motivate him and show him the ropes on how we do things here in APW. Almost like a responsibility as an APW Champion. But on the other hand, I can leave this man out to dry. Feed him to the wolves and watch him struggle for survival.
But I’m not going to do that. I’m really a nice guy. Because I think, If I help this new guy out now, down the road, he’ll repay the favor. This new guy is privileged. He gets to team up with the Xtreme Champion in his first match here in APW. He gets to work with a true champion. The Longest Reigning APW Champion for a matter of fact. I know nothing of the new guy. All I know is his name. So if this guy stands any chance of surviving in APW. If he has any chance of forming any kind of alliance with me, then he better show up and bring it, cause if he doesn’t, I got no problem showing him why I am The Hardcore Kid and why I am the APW Xtreme Champion.
On Overdrive, the odds just may be against Biggs and myself. We never team up before. We never even met before and we are forced to face off against two men who know each other for a very long time. Two guys who have teamed up before. The have the chemistry already. They have their routine down to a T. Biggs and I, well, where we have no chemistry. Where we don’t know what each other is thinking, everything probably assumes that we stand no chance. But every team needs to start some where. And where my partner will look to make an impact. A name for himself out of the get go. I look at us as an Underestimated team. Lets not forget, I carried Hardcore Ice to becoming two time APW Tag Team Champions. So I’m no stranger to tag team wrestling. I’m no stranger of knowing what it takes to win those belts.
Assassin, you and I squared off last week and I did exactly what I said I was going to do and that’s defeat you and retain my Xtreme Champion. And I’m telling you, this week, The Hardcore Kid and Biggs will come out on top. Now that I been in the ring with you Assassin, I know just what kind of wrestler you are. Your one of those guys who think your better than you really are. Your poor attempt at being Xtreme showed that. Even though you ripped a chunk of my hair out from my skull, the bitter sweet taste of victory makes me forget about the pain. Assassin, if you want my Xtreme title in the future, your gonna need to bring it every night. And we’ll see on Overdrive if you’ll bring it or not.
The Main Man Slade Craven. You turned heads when you first come on the scene and faced off against Level One in a great match, but what have you done since then. Nothing. Jason Royce has done more than you. And quite honestly, I almost forgot you even existed. Just goes to show how much you contribute to society. Maybe if you just put the bottle down for a second and focus, then maybe you can be a force to be reckoned with. I enjoy a drink now and then, but not to the point where it effects my career. But the beating that I plan, and I’m sure my partner plans on giving to you, it will drive you to drink. Slade, you may be fast, you may have the fans on your side, but at the end of the day, none of that matters because, I’m the APW Xtreme Champion and at the end of the day, your just Slade Craven. Just another lost soul.
AKA, after Biggs and me are done with you, you can change the name of your team to the “IJGMAKBTGW” The “I Just Got My Ass Kicked By Two Great Wrestlers.” Assassin, last night I brought you Straight to Hell and next week, I’m taking you back, and Slade, your gonna go along for the ride. After Overdrive, Biggs will have made a name for himself and Twister will be regretting accepting my challenge, and for you two, you guys will be forgotten along with the IWC Misfits. Get Ready for a fight boys, cause your both getting a one way Ticket Straight to Hell

The scene opens up backstage at an APW House Show where The Hardcore Kid comes back from just finishing a match. The Kid is all sweaty in his ring gear, with the APW Xtreme Champion in hand. The Kid walks to his dressing room, and standing outside his room, waiting for the Kid, is APW’s newest wrestler, Biggs. Biggs extents his hand to the Kid.
Biggs: I just want introduce myself, The Name is Biggs and we’re teaming up at Overdrive.
The Hardcore Kid takes a look at the 5’10, 217 pound spaceman, nods his head and shakes the new comers hand as the scene fades to black.
THK: I think we’re gonna do just fine as a team.
The Kid opens his dressing room door, he and Biggs walk in and the scene fades.
