The scene opens up in the APW Studio where Shane West is sitting in a chair, and in the chair next to him is the APW President, Hurricane Jeff. The cameras roll.
Shane: Welcome everyone to an actionpackedwrestling.tk exclusive interview with the Owner of Action Packed Wrestling, Hurricane Jeff.
Jeff: Lets make this quick, I’m a busy person.
Shane: Ok, this week on Overdrive, you scheduled yourself in a match against Jesse Nunez. I guess the question is…Why?
Jeff: Its pretty simple. I’ve won what, two matches in APW. Now, I could care less if I win or lose at this point of my career, I’ve done it all. But I’m not washed up. I’m not a has been. I still can dance with the big boys. But, When I was in my prime, I was wrestling almost every single night. All over the world. Here in APW, I’ll wrestle a match every couple of months. The main problem, I think, is ring rust. Its one thing to train to get ready for a match, but its another to actually have a match to get ready. With Streets and I taking on Jesse and Max Carter at Mayhem at the end of the month, to insure a victory, I’m fighting Jesse in simply, a warm up match.
Shane: Ever thought that maybe its time to hang up the boots and lets the contracted wrestlers wrestle and you stay behind the scenes?
Jeff looks at Shane
Jeff: Listen you. I didn’t hire you to ask stupid questions. I’m semi retired. Will I ever been 100% retired, maybe one day, but right now, if someone has a problem with me, I’m more than happy to settle it inside the ring.
Shane: And you have a problem with Jesse that you can’t wait till Mayhem?
Jeff: The problem I have with Jesse is that he stuck in nose in what was none of his business. See, Max hired Kid Cannabis as his body guard, but look what happened. Kid got a taste of what Streets and I are capable of and he hasn’t been seen sense. Jesse needs to learn to stay out of other people’s business and I’m going to do that my self. I could do it at Mayhem, but its easier to do it one on one.
Shane: You first met Jesse over in EWC. You both held the EWC World Title. Is it fair to say that this will be an epic match?
Jeff: Epic is far from it. Jesse couldn’t wrestle himself out of a paper bag if his life depended on it. Jesse’s EWC Heavyweight Title win was a fluke. I know it, Jesse knows it, everyone knows it. Jesse struggled on the Rampage brand before Max brought him over to the Brawl Brand. I told Max not to do it. But Max didn’t listen. Jesse lost a few chances at the title, but when he did win it, it was a disappointed title reign. I on the other hand, I was in my prime when I held the EWC World Title. I won it the same night I won the EWC International Title. I fought three different guys that night and I beat them all. I held that title longer than Jesse as well. I’m better than Jesse and I will prove it on Overdrive.
Shane: Jesse does hold a victory over you though.
Jeff looks at Shane and slaps him out of his chair. Shane is on the ground holding his face.
Jeff: I’d didn’t hire you to ask stupid questions! I’d get out of here before I fire you!
Shane leaves and Jeff looks at the camera
Jeff: EWC is a thing of the past. A Sinking ship. What happened there between us Jesse means nothing here. Overdrive, is a warm up match for me for Mayhem and I plan on kicking your ass and showing you and everyone that I still got it. You screwed yourself from the beginning when you partnered yourself with Max. Just because Max may have made you a house hold name in EWC doesn’t mean you have to suck his dick in APW too. Because its not going to help you get to the top. Jesse, at Overdrive, you go 0 and 3 after I beat you. And Jesse, one more thing, Thur Howling Winds….And Pouring Rain…You Will Fear….THE HURRICANE!
Jeff pulls the small microphone off his shirt, throws it on the ground and walks away as the scene cuts out.
