Voice: Don’t move, this might hurt
THK: Ahhhhhhh, FUCK! Damn that hurt!
We’re at Rasslemania V and the Doctor is stitching up The Hardcore Kid
THK: Could ya be more careful Doc?
Doctor: I’m doing my best.
The Kid wince in pain as the Doc closes the gash on the Kid’s forehead.
Doc: A hell of a match. I don’t understand why you’d put yourself through what you just did when the end result is getting stitches.
Kid: I do it to make sure you have a job.
Doc: Thanks I guess.
The Doctor pulls the tread through the Kid’s head then grabs scissors and snips it off.
Doc: All done.
THK: You The man Doc.
Doc: Keep this up and you’ll be able to put my kids through college.
THK: That could very well be possible while I’m the Xtreme Champion.
Doc: Just be careful though. I don’t want you getting Killed.
The Doctor takes out a big Band-Aid and slaps it on over the Kid’s stitches.
Doctor: I’ll check back on this in two weeks after our break.
THK: Thanks Doc.

Wow, just wow. Words can not come close to describe how amazing Rasslemania was this year. I’m still hearing Echo’s of the cheers. I’m still supporting the battle scars and it was worth it. Good news is that The problem between Jason Royce and I is finally over. Better news is that I’m still the APW Xtreme Champion. Jason and I took each other to the limit. Jason and I beat each other to an inch of each others lives. But when it was all said and done, and like I’ve been saying for months, The Hardcore Kid proved to Jason and showed the world that he is the man who carried Hardcore Ice.
Now that I can close that chapter of my life, its time to open a new one and it begins on Overdrive when I face off against the Overdrive Champion, Shadow. I’m excited to fight this new comer because for one, the last two times I fought Overdrive Champions, it was a walk in the park. I wasn’t challenge. But this time I different. Shadow will bring a challenge and he’s not someone to take lightly especially after seeing his match with John Green at Rasslemania.
Shadow, even though you’re the Overdrive champ, and even though you’ve impressed me over the past month, you still need to earn the respect of everyone in APW, including me. Many times people have come and gone through APW. They come in, impress everyone. The show promise and then, they vanish. Now I don’t think you’ll Vanish any time soon, but as far as I’m concerned, you still need to prove yourself here in Action Packed Wrestling. You know, you may have been in this business longer than me, but it doesn’t make you better than me. I’m a former two time APW Tag Champion. I’m the best Xtreme Champion in recent months. And every week, I keep getting better and better and my career has taken off since I’ve dropped Jason Royce and became the Xtreme Champion. Consider me the Bret Hart of the Hart Foundation. The Shawn Michaels of the Rockers. The Scott Steiner of the Steiner Brothers. All men who have gone on to be world champions after dropping their tag partner, and that is one of my current goals.
This is APW Shadow. What you’ve done in the past, who you’ve feuded with in the past, it all means nothing here. I’ve created my own legacy here and I’ve made a name for myself from the ground up. You’ve come into APW and beat two nobodies and John Green. You may have yourself a little Goldberg Streak going, but being your fourth Victim isn’t something I plan on being.
I’m not going to go on about how I’m gonna take you to school and how I will teach you a few things in the ring, cause we both know that’s not going to happen. I’m not even going to tell you Shadow just how much I’m going to kick your ass. Because Overdrive, it’s a new Era for APW. Shadow, I plan on walking out a winner, and I also plan on having all the fans walk out talking about how great The Hardcore Kid was.
