It's transparent... so it doesn't have a background...

I put the logo in paint and there was a little bit of white, not as much as I'm seeing on the boards, so I changed it to black and this is what I have  |

Okay, I'm really starting to wonder what all my banners look like when opened on IE instead of Firefox...
I don't even have IE on my computer, so I can't tell...

I'm on firefox right now and the first logo you posted and Greens banner has no white in it. The 2nd logo you posted looks exactly like the one in the first post.
So I dunno what you did but keep doing it ;D

I just went back, copied the image into a new layer, then filled in the background completely black. It's pretty trivial in Photoshop...
I wonder if my problem is interlacing the pictures. I have no idea what it means, but it asks me if I want to when I save them, and I always say "Yes"...

I was trying to strike the balance.
Make something that actually matched the boards colours (sorry Jeff, the blood splattered one clashed with the rest of the site) and I think the font will also translate into smaller icons that can be plastered around the site as needed.

I thought the banner looked pretty sweet, but we needed our own logo. I'll be using it when I go promoting the site a bit over the next few days
