The scene opens up at the arena for the first show of 2010. Mark is in his ring gear, warming up for his match by doing some squats. Just then, Cindy Shannon shows up with a camera man and a Mic in her hand.
Cindy: Mark, can I have a word with you.
Mark: You sure can.
Cindy: How we’re your holidays.
Mark: A blast and yours sweetheart?
Cindy: Couldn’t ask for anything better. I’ll make this quick for you cause I know your busy getting ready for your match tonight. And speaking of your match, your facing off against Streets Wilson. Your thoughts?
Mark: First off, Happy new years to the APW Faithful. I hope you all had a great Holiday. But now, back its back to business. The first show of 2010. The road to Rasslemania is on its way. Survive and Conquer looking to be one of the biggest match in APW history. But this Wednesday on Overdrive, I get stuck fighting the returning Streets Wilson. Whoopti freakin do. Just when I thought I got through with one loser with Jason Royce, I have this clown thrown at me. I’ve watched Streets since he debuted with APW, and I saw the Rise and Fall of Streets. The Rise when he and Rick Stevens held the Tag Team Titles, and then the fall, Losing the titles and then losing to everyone on the roster. And now, the big come back, like things are gonna change.
This Wednesday, Streets is going to do what he does best, lose. Streets will be lucky if he makes it to the building. Streets will be lucky if I don’t humiliate him. Streets isn’t the big bad thug he once was. Streets has gone soft. Streets has become the new Jason Royce. Streets, lets face it, is a waste of my time and a disgrace to this business. I live, eat, breath, sleep this business. This is my life and it upsets me that someone like Streets Wilson doesn’t give a crap about it. Who just shows up for a pay check so he go back his next hit of drugs.
I may be a rookie compared to Streets. I may smaller, but I have the heart, the desire and that what it takes to win. Streets, at Christmas Chaos, I beat not one, but two guys. When was the last time you beat two men, and I’m not talking about a 3 way between your boyfriends. In just my short career, I may have not won any titles but I know I’m already better than you Streets Wilson. I know I can beat you and I will beat you to kick off 2010 on the right foot. So get ready Streets because I’m going to make quick work of you and in the process, if you a Mark…Out…Moment!
