An almost empty parking lot is the first thing we see as our scene opens in the dead of night the hour is two in the morning as we see a few cars sitting in the parking lot the camera pans out as we see a sign for this business high in the sky the sign reads Kroger as the camera crew walk towards the building while someone inside walks towards the door opening it up as the crew stops
“Sorry folks we are closed your going to have to come back around six. That’s when we open our doors for business.”
The man starts to close the door as the camera crew seems a bit confised as we see another person walking towards the door as he stops it from being closed
“It’s alright Ken these guys are with me.”
Ken looks up and shakes his head as he walks away as we see the doors come open as the camera crew come inside
“You’ll have to excuse him he’s just doing his job. Hell we all are. I assume you guys didn’t have a problemn finding the place?”
One of the members shakes there head no as we see Assassin nod as they walk further into the store
“Well as you can tell this isn’t what you would usually see but then again when has that ever been different right?”
“I walked away from APW and became just another normal person. Got myself a regular job and everything. I mean after all a man still has to eat right?”
The crew nod as Assassin smiles and they continue walking around the empty store
“Well as I was saying I went out and got myself a normal job because I felt like I was done. I mean that was it I was done and that was all there was to it. So I went back to work not giving it a second thought. That is until recently when I was working just like any normal day and I managed to run into someone who knew about my wrestling.”
“After talking to that person for awhile I started to realize that I missed it, I missed getting out on the road and wrestling. But I didn’t want to walk away from what I had done here. After all I had been here for a few months my progress looked good so I figured I was on the right path.”
After making a lap around the entire store we end up back at the front of the store as the camera crew grab a few empty chairs and take a seat
“I felt like I was over it. I had a good job with good benefits and steady pay. I mean I didn’t have to worry about getting hurt by anyone or travel cost or any of the other bullshit I use to worry about. So what was the use of going back? That was the question I found myself asking almost everyday.”
“Then one day while I was working I got stopped by someone and asked a question and while I was helping them out it hit me I wanted to be back out there. I didn’t just want to sit on the sidelines any longer and watch everything go by. No I wanted to get back out there on the road and make my mark. So that’s what has you guys here.”
“Hell I’ve been gone awhile so I don’t know whose in charge of what anymore. But all I want is a shot to prove that I am back. To prove that I’m well a changed man. They say that absent makes the heart grow fonder and I believe that. So this is me just stating that I want a chance to come back and show what I’ve got. The ball is in APW’s court so what’s it going to be?”
Assassin stares into the camera with an almost blank look on his face as our scene ends
