I had no clue when the DL is since I can't tell between EST and whatever is the UK time zone, lol.
I hope you enjoy it anyway.
I hope you enjoy it anyway.
The scene opens up in some kind of forest, a forest too dense to see the sky; the trees are crowded together while the trees themselves are mobbed by bushes after bushes. It is currently unknown why the cameraman is here but he continued to walk onwards and onwards for half a minute before stopping himself to see something rather unique…a tree, not just any tree but an oak tree, but the tree itself wasn’t what fascinated him. It was the marking on that tree…the word ‘do’ was carved onto that tree but the roughness of the carved texture meant that it was carved in not too long ago. But after the camera operator could switch off his camera he noticed the tree next to it having the word ‘you’ carved into it. He began to following the direction of the trees to fully read the message…
‘Do You Know The Definition of Insanity?’
Moments after reading the last word an arrow suddenly hits the tree, barely missing the camera lens by a few centimetres, this caused the cameraman to fall backwards onto his backside.
“Well do you?”
Those words were said but the voice didn’t belong to the cameraman, it belongs to somebody the lens haven’t seen yet in this video footage. The camera quickly swung towards the only logical direction the arrow could have possibly came from and standing there, with a bow in her right hand, is a purple haired female. This girl is wearing a Lincoln green kind of tunic as he walks toward the camera. Her pace was cautiously slow, as if she was approaching a wild animal, but with each step the cameraman feebly tries to back away. Yet in the end he ended up having his back against a tree as she managed to make her way over to him. But instead of grabbing him the female stayed standing to pull her arrow out of the tree, her expression almost not acknowledging the cameraman‘s quivering presence.
“You’re lucky that I wasn’t aiming for you.”
The female said while checking on her arrow. Glad to see that it is in good enough condition to be used again the female placed it back in her quiver, which is resting securely against her back, before crouching down to be face-to-face with the camera lens.
“I am Robina Hood and welcome to my forest. But now what are you doing here? Are you here to find my treasure, the same treasure that I stole off the rich? Or are you here about my wrestling debut? This Monday I head off to this show called Meltdown to make my Action Packed Wrestling debut against somebody called Niobe Martin…should I be worried? Nah, I don’t think so, if anything I think she needs to feel worried about facing me. *giggle* I may be a newcomer but wasn’t crystal meth simply the newcomer to drug dealers before some celebrity tried it out? I am the newest girl on Meltdown but I am also a rather dangerous individual, don’t believe me Niobe? Then just wait until Monday to see how dangerous I can truly be…hell we could say that, on this Meltdown, you’ll get a new worst nightmare. *giggle* Isn’t it simply amusing that the big bad flyer that refers herself under the title of ‘Nightmare’ shall get a taste of a real nightmare since here is a question I have for you dear Niobe…have you ever slept in a forest at night? There are indeed many things to worry about when in a forest at night…wolves, bandits, thieves, bears, foxes and even wild men…there are many ways to feel pain and many ways to develop fear within Sherwood Forest.”
Robina seem to be more interested in the camera than she does with the cameraman since she hardly even bothers to give him a glance at all as Miss Hood spoke out. Her giggling did sound sweet and innocent yet her words sound dishonest and potentially threatening.
“But wait until Meltdown dear Niobe since I promise you that I’ll drag you down below, all the way to give you a devil’s show…so be patient Martin, patience is a virtue so treasure it because you only have like forty-eight hours before I cripple you Niobe. You’re more experienced than me and, unlike you, I’ve never wrestled on the independent circuit in my entire life, but that equals nothing in a roster full of newcomers, wannabes and nobodies. But which section would you go under? Newcomers, like me, are people who’ve just entered the company and seek to either A) make an impact, or B) have a blast. Wannabes are people who always view themselves highly and believe that they can succeed at anything, kind of like some Yarmouth guy. Then there are nobodies, people who simply failed to make it and now have to live the rest of their careers like the people that they were born to be…failures, has-beens, losers. So which of the three are you Niobe? Wait, let me rephrase that, which of the two are you since you are by far no newcomer…hell, on the footage I saw of the last Meltdown, I swear I saw traces of gray in your hair. So which one are you Niobe? A wannabe or a nobody? Someone who wants to become something but fails or someone who failed and will never become anything more than a welcome mat to newcomers like me?”
Moments after finishing her words the female archer sat herself down, cross-legged, in front of the camera recording her and giggled some more. Originally threatening but now cheery as the bow is now gently resting on her lap. The camera operator wasn’t sure if he should laugh along with her or be worried in case she considers using him as an archery target.
“You know what Niobe? I won’t be cruel, at least not as cruel has the bookers were for pitting you against me, and I’ll just answer the question for you in the most simplistic of ways…so someone with a low IQ like yourself could understand. You. Are. Going. To. Be. Nothing. More. Than. A. Nobody. People like you are bred, trained and hired for merely one purpose…to lie down on the floor and let people like met step over you on their way to greatness. Don’t believe me? Well then why are you on Meltdown instead of Asylum or Overdrive? See, I’ve got you haven’t I?”
The purple haired diva chuckled lightly not so long after saying her rather insulting words about Niobe Martin, clearly this young archer doesn’t value Martin as the ‘Nightmare’ people know her has. Once she finished chuckling Robina moved up onto her knees, her left hand now firmly clutching onto the bow, and indicated for the cameraman to follow her before fully standing up. It didn’t take long for the camera operator to get up to his own feet so Miss Hood began to walk off with the guy in hot pursuit.
“You can have all the independent circuit experience in the world Niobe but at the end of the day you’ve won nothing prestigious in your entire life, so don’t expect anything when you face me soon enough Niobe ‘Nobody’ Martin. Hell, you’re not even worth your ‘nightmare’ moniker…if anything you should be simply called ‘Niobe the Never-Will-Be.’ What is that? Are you going to cry? Is any of your next to extinct, fans going to cry? Well here’s something you, and your minute fan base, can do Niobe…cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it. All you’ll ever be is a nobody and, if anything, I think you have honestly peaked dear Niobe…poor, poor Niobe Martin. You were born as a nobody, you’ve peaked as a nobody and you’re going to DIE a nobody.”
Even though she had her back to the camera Robina’s words were clear enough as she would look over her shoulder after every few words. Her words sounded more and more insulting as the forest-dweller went on, this time her words weren’t pausing themselves so she could have a sweetly gentle giggle. As she spoke on and on the forest began to become less and less dense until moments after she said ‘get over it.’ After saying those words the female stop and turned around, to fully face the camera recording her, before stating how her opponent would die a nobody. Behind Robina is a road with some kind of black van parked by and after saying her words she motioned, with her bow, that the male is free to leave her forest. The cameraman was quick to nod but once he got passed the rather unique woman he began to hear her voice again.
“But before you plead and beg for extermination, or better put coupe de grace, I must remind you that patience is indeed a virtue. So you have at least twenty-four hours to rest up, claim yourself down and get ready for this Meltdown where you’ll live an actual nightmare…a heartfelt nightmare…a real nightmare.”
These words froze the male in place, too afraid to budge a single muscle, and once the words ’a real nightmare’ was heard he finally spun around…only to see that Robina Hood was no longer there. This actually startled the male as he almost dropped the camera but luckily managed to keep it in his hands as he pressed the stop button before switching off the camera completely, officially ending the recording of this promo. Afterwards he was rather quick to enter his van, switch the engine on and drive as far away from this unknown forest as possible.
