The New Year was upon APW and so was the annual Survive and Conquer event, but whilst Evan McDonald wasn’t competing at Survive and Conquer he was on the latest addition of Meltdown from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada where he was facing Jake Youngblood in singles completion, Jake was a newcomer and Evan had a lot to prove, can Evan win?
Evan’s hotel room, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
January 5, 2013, 11:00pm
“So Evan…..” One of my many attractive and scantily clad lady friends said as she felt me up, we had just gotten back from a local pub and naturally I had attracted the attention of the single ladies who were in the pub, I had taken two of them home with me, the aforementioned lady friend and one of the barmaids who was just as attractive as the other woman, and we were sitting on the couch. “What did you get me for Christmas this year?”
“Babe, just being with me is enough of a present for you.” I said with a cocky smirk and she pouted. “Don’t worry, once I’m done with my promo….” I whispered the next part in her ear knowing that it wasn’t exactly appropriate for television and she giggled, then the barmaid leant over and kissed the lady friend on the lips, I watched them feel each other up for a few minutes before the lady friend led the barmaid into the bedroom. “It’s great being me.”
“Err; aren’t you going to join them?” The cameraman asked awkwardly and I grinned.
“In time but unless you want to film my sex tape then we have a job to do, don’t we?” I asked rhetorically and when the cameraman didn’t answer I simply grinned. “I thought so, this week, in my first match of 2013 I’m facing the newcomer Jake Youngblood and if he’s anything like that 1990s comic book that he shares a surname with this will be a piece of cake.”
I said with a confident smirk.
“I don’t know a lot about Jake Youngblood and quite frankly I don’t care if he’s the second coming of Hulk Hogan because I will not let him get a victory over me, 2013 is a New Year and that means a new start for me, I have a very simple New Year’s Resolution going into 2013, get off of Meltdown and move up to the big leagues where my talents can truly be tested.”
“What about the guys who have beaten you so far…..” The cameraman trailed off and I shook my head.
“Not important, as far as I’m concerned I’m better than the rest of them and they can rot here on Meltdown for all I care!” I said as I folded my arms. “As for Jake from what I can gather he’s got rags to riches thing going on and quite frankly it makes me sick to my stomach and he can stay here on Meltdown for all I care! In fact as far as I’m concerned he’s nothing but an insignificant stepping stone on my path to greatness!”
I said with a confident smirk.
“This, unlike the time I spend with my lady friends, will be short because quite frankly Jake Youngblood is a waste of my time and I should be doing better things with my time than addressing the idiot, like joining the two women in my bedroom, so to keep things simple……”
I said as I leaned forward.
“Jake if you had any common sense this match wouldn’t even be taking place in the first place as you’d be on the first plane back to your hometown by now but alas you’re not and I will have to humiliate you on TV and in front of a crowd more accustomed to having great wrestling matches performed in front of them rather than the complete annihilation that I will take pleasure in inflicting on you.”
I said as I smirked.
“You can say whatever you want in response to this Jake, it won’t matter one bit.” I said with a chuckle. “Because I will be the one to win this match and kickstart a great year for myself, you may have aspirations of being the ultimate underdog and living your dream of winning the top title in this company, well I’m your reality check and I’m here to tell you that none of that will happen!”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
“I am like a fine wine; I only improve with age, Jake Youngblood on the other hand will stagnant before realizing what a horrible mistake he’s made and quit whilst he’s still able to walk! This is Your Scottish Sensation Evan McDonald signing off and Jake, the only thing you have to look forward to in your debut match is me kicking your ass.”
I stood up and entered my bedroom where the two women where naked and on top of each other, they invited me to join them and I closed the door behind me as the scene fades.
