Domination
Christian Kane is 1-0 in Action Packed Wrestling. After a victory teaming with William Black at the Meltdown Supershow, the young Canadian playboy showed that he shouldn’t be taken lightly. And if that showed that Kane is no joke, then Kane and KJE’s attempts to destroy M&M and assert complete dominance over all opposition on Meltdown certainly showed Christian Kane means business in APW.
This week on Meltdown is quite easily the Canadian Sensation’s most important match yet. This week is no throwaway match, and certainly not one to take lightly as he and Kaylyn James Evans go up against Aubrey J. Parker and the North American Champion Logan Alexander. Over the past few weeks Kane and KJE have been harassing M&M in an extremely vicious manner, be it Kane attacking Logan from behind with a chair, or KJE repeatedly slamming a car door on AJP’s forearm, so this week M&M may indeed see this match as a chance for payback. To get back at Christian and Kaylyn for all they’ve done to them over the past month.
If KJE and Kane want to defeat M&M this week they must stay incredibly focused and not lose sight of the task at hand. M&M want revenge - the hunters must not become the hunted.

“What a surprise. They’ve made this all about themselves. That’s cute. Really, super cute. If they’re using this whole ordeal as an excuse to make themselves feel...special, then they’re welcome to...but this isn’t about them.”
Christian Kane bluntly states down the phone to an interviewer, the journalist letting Kane listen to the comments made by the North American Champion about Kane and the Canadian Sensation’s tag team partner, Kaylyn James Evans earlier. The interviewer takes a moment before responding to Kane with a question. An incredibly stupid question. “Okay...soooo, who is this all about?”
Taking a moment, Christian responds. “This is about me.” Kane stands from the sofa in his San Francisco home, staring out the window at the relatively quiet street below him. “It’s always about Christian Kane. It will always be about Christian Kane. I am the Canadian Sensation. You know that, right?”
“Well, yes. But, why is this about you?” The interviewer pauses, clearly baffled. “You and KJE have attacked Logan and Aubrey on several occasions. If this isn’t about them, how is it about you?”
Kane laughs down the line at the interviewer. “I’m getting the fuck off of Meltdown, junior. It’s not where I belong. And I’d like to think I’ve hatched and am executing a cunning plan to move up to the big leagues.”
“Care to indulge me?”
“I think I’ve made that very clear. To get myself noticed. What should I have done? Stayed silent like a little bunny rabbit while I got booked week in and week out, going nowhere? Nope. I’ve formed an alliance with Evans - and with her I’m going to dominate Meltdown. Until I’m a household name. Until I get drafted to Overdrive. And on Overdrive I’ll make myself a household name...but I’m no fool. I’m experienced, this isn’t my first dance, so I know not to look past my match this week on Meltdown.”
“Teaming with Kaylyn James Evans against Aubrey J Parker and Logan Alexander.” The interviewer affirms.
“That’s right. All these attacks. Jumping Logan from behind with a chair, damaging Aubrey’s arm with the car door, if we don’t win this match, it’ll all be for nothing - Alexander’s right. He’s completely right.” The interviewer is silent, seemingly shocked that Kane conceded to Logan’s comments as Christian continues. “Me and Kaylyn are going to win this match and in doing so we’re going to show Meltdown, hell, we’re going to show APW as a whole that we’re not all bark and no bite. KJE’s so called ‘shortcomings’ are immaturely exaggerated by Logan, she’s one of the most talented wrestlers in APW alongside myself and by allying herself with me she’s proven that she’s also one of the smartest wrestlers in APW. On Monday night we are going to prove that we can walk the walk just as well as we can talk the talk. Just because we’ve chosen to jump them from behind time and time again doesn’t mean we’re bad wrestlers, and if Alexander thinks that then shame on him. Rules are meant to be bent and broken, but Monday night he wants a wrestling match from me, so that’s what he’s going to get. I’m going to show M&M just how good me and KJE can be, and after the pair of them wake up in the middle of the ring to the sight of me and Kaylyn celebrating while they hold their jaws...they’ll know. Everyone will know just how good we are.”
“Wow. We-” As the interviewer responds, Kane hangs up the phone. With a smug smirk on his face as always, Christian picks up his duffel bag and pulls out his car keys. Running his fingers over the embossed, interlinking four rings making up the Audi logo Kane speaks aloud to himself before heading out the door.
“Showtime.”

The Present
We open to a shot of Christian Kane standing in an empty movie theater. With his back to the camera, Kane eyes the screen as he pushes a button on a remote control. The screen then begins to play the vicious assault handed to Logan on the December 10th edition of Meltdown.

Dec 10th
Logan is struck down from behind next, this time with a steel chair, by a young, blonde, unknown man.
Harris: Who the hell--?!
West: That’s Christian Kane!
The crowd boos wholeheartedly as Christian Kane slams the chair viciously into Logan’s back two more times and then grins up to the audience.
Soon, the duo is joined by Kaylyn James Evans, who darts into the ring and begins to stomp away at Amy Zing along with William Black. She turns and snatches the chair from Christian Kane who applauds mockingly as Amy gets up. Black and Kane each grab one of Zing’s arms and turn her toward Kaylyn. Kaylyn cheers out to the crowd who boo her overwhelmingly in response...
...She charges forward and drives the chair across the throat of Zing! Zing collapses to the mat and rolls out of the ring.
West: Are these the three that attacked Aubrey J. Parker backstage during the match?!
Harris: Ohohohohoho, man!
Christian Kane and William Black lift Logan to his feet next. Kaylyn grins and measures him up, looking ahead at him for a few moments, whispering something...
...Before she charges forward and slams the chair across his skull. Logan drops, limp, to the canvas. Kaylyn drops the chair and screams, excitedly, cheering to the crowd that boos her in response.
West: Sick... What the hell is this?
Harris: An orchestrated, calculated assault. Do you see this? Do you not love this?
West: I don’t. I don’t love this. This is heinous!
Christian Kane begins to stomp at Logan, stomping harder and harder until the crowd grows deafening with their boos. He grins and William Black motions for Christian to lift Logan up. Christian forces Logan up to his feet and William points to Kaylyn James Evans who rears back, and then delivers a hard slap to Logan’s jaw. Logan falls as Christian lets go of him and the three stand tall over the North American Champion.

Present Day
Kane grins as he turns around to the camera, the clip paused at the sight of Kane, KJE and Black standing tall over Logan.
“Now isn’t that just a lovely sight, eh?” He winks at the camera. “That was a great night. My debut on APW television was spent bending a steel chair across your back, Alexander. How does that make you feel, Logan? Because it was great for me.”Kane looks off camera for a second with a cocky smile on his face, he slicks his hair back as he turns to the camera once more. “I find myself saying that a lot. The point is, I did that to you in a matter of minutes, Logan. Minutes. Granted, I had a steel chair, but if I get you in the ring just how much damage do you think I can do to you inside a ring where I’m given as much time as I want? I’m a better wrestler than you, Logan - I know that for a damn fact, and the fact that you’re the North American Champion is an insult! And if my associate KJE couldn’t take it from you at the Supershow, in due course I’d love to be the one to beat you for it. Although then again, you’d probably lose it by the time I got a shot at you. A testament to your lack of skills, maybe. But moving on...I want to talk about your tag partner, Aubrey J. Parker - take a look at this...”
Staring directly into the camera again, Christian holds up the remote and presses play.

KJE: PICK HER UP!
Christian lifts Aubrey up again and Kaylyn points to the open door of the limo.
KJE: Put her arm in there.
The crowd boos loudly as Kaylyn makes the demand and Christian drags Aubrey over to the door. Kaylyn punches Aubrey in the temple and the forehead at least a half dozen times before she remains still enough for Christian to put her forearm in the door. Kaylyn takes a few steps back, and then with a running start, rams herself into the door as hard as she can. Aubrey screams out in pain and falls to her knees, clutching her bleeding arm. Christian and Kaylyn back away, smirking.
Aubrey is curled up, crying from pain next to the limo and Kaylyn kneels down next to her, whispering into her ear.
KJE: Good luck with those Tag Team Titles, baby... Now I've got a North American Championship to go win.
She laughs and stands up, walking away with Christian Kane. Aubrey continues to groan, swallowing tears of pure agony as the camera fades to black.

“Too good. Now, I would’ve played the whole of that clip there, but I’ll be honest, Aubrey - watching you get beat up, and well, seeing myself personally beat the shit out of you...is kinda a turn on for me, and I wouldn’t want you to get distracted now, because you need to listen to what I’m saying and look into my eyes so I can get my point across without you fantasizing about my body and your body, and just generally how awesome it would be if we banged. ...I get that a lot.” Kane licks his lips before continuing. “But focus, because for your own safety you need to hear what I’m about to say. Girl, you better bring your A-game to Meltdown on Monday night or I will tear you to shreds. Now I’m not the kind of guy to give others head starts, but you’re pretty hot and women are my weakness, so I’ll give you a tip. Do your homework on me. Do not take me lightly and realize that when the bell rings I am a machine. I have ungodly stamina and I won’t stop until you’re not moving. I won’t stop until your body is limp in the middle of that ring. This match, Aubrey...Logan...this is just my time. This is Kaylyn’s time. This is our time...and with Duvall on our side...” He chuckles to himself slightly, realizing the power he has garnered in such a short time. “...well, we’re unstoppable. And it’s going to take more than two self-righteous losers to stop us.”
With that Kane uses the remote to turn off the screen, thus illuminating his face better as the silhouette effect caused by the screen’s brightness disappears.
“We’ll see you Monday.”
