APW.com can officially reveal that former APW TapOut Champion Julius Farquhar has been indefinitely suspended by Asylum General Manager Reginald Schmidt.
Despite two no-shows at APW promotional events this week, the self-proclaimed Quintessentially English wrestler was expected to make an appearance at last night’s Asylum show in Manchester, England. However, Farquhar provoked the ire of the Asylum chief by going AWOL for a third time in a week.
Mr. Schmidt is said to be livid with Farquhar’s latest absence, on top of a number of indiscretions during 2012, as well as the recent revelation that Farquhar had filed a suit against APW, the Asylum boss decided action had to be taken.
The office of the Asylum GM confirmed Farquhar remains under contract, but that he is henceforth suspended from all Asylum activities, pending a full investigation into his conduct.
