{{The scene opens to the inside of Anthony Bailey’s dimly lit hotel room, which is located in Blackpool, England. The actual hotel of Bailey’s whereabouts is anonymous due to safety precautions. Bailey, clad in a white wifebeater and gray sweatpants, sits on the edge of the queen sized bed gazing calmly into the camera. He appears to be the only one present in the room with no Tasha, J-Hop, or William D. Williams in sight. Bailey, looking tired, doesn’t waste a moment to begin addressing the spectators.}}
Anthony Bailey: The statement that I made via social media a week ago or so about Stefan Raab, one of my opponents for Asylum, and Young Mannie was pretty bold on my end but it will not be recanted. I stand by my words of Stefan Raab being a gravely misunderstood individual. I can see why many hate the man but I would suggest that everyone try to look past the Twitter rants and the tenacious exterior of Raab and look deeper. There’s a reason why he appears to be so cold hearted. The way that I see it is that Raab is a man who’s looking to make a mark for himself in this business but maybe the way that he goes about doing so is questionable and even unwise. Stefan, as I said before, you know the deal with me and the deal is that I have no qualms with you. If I was God and had the power to change you, I would probably give you better social media etiquette and that’s about it.

As much hate as you have towards your fellow APW megastars, be careful not to burn any bridges because those could be the very bridges that help elevate you to the next level to reach your full potential. I don’t think that you are as infuriated as you always appear to be. I just think that you have experienced deep hurts throughout your lifetime and that has caused you to shut other people out and prevent them from seeing the real you because you are scared of being hurt again. I wasn’t a psychology major at Flagler College, but this isn’t a beginner’s standing study of the mind either. This is simple common sense and if some individuals took the time to sit back and analyze Raab for the human being that he is, maybe they would see it the way that I do. My opinion isn’t law but one cannot help but to be enticed by my approach to the man that so many of my colleagues’ despise.
A megastar being a “bad” guy or constantly receiving boos from the avid fans of APW didn’t bother Bailey one bit. He formulated his own opinion towards others and tried not to let the masses dictate how he felt towards a particular person.
Mutual respect is what will fuel my actions towards you Raab tomorrow night on Asylum. Not animosity, not being annoyed by you, not trying to prove that I am better than you. It will simply be mutual respect. You’re a talented wrestler and I am as well and that’s what keeps this business alive and thriving, pure competition. And speaking of respect, I also possess respect for Ms. Aubrey J. Parker, my opponent for Asylum and Meltdown the following night, even if she believes that I am inconsistent.
{{Bailey smirks.}}
I wonder if she thought I was inconsistent when she chose to hit me with that low blow from behind at Christmas Chaos when Callahan came to the ring with Martinez during the Tag Team Title match and got involved. I would also like to know if she associated me with inconsistency when Shane Borderland helped her defeat Jason Kash to win the Suicidal Title.
Bailey would lightly touch on Borderland but wouldn’t discuss him in great detail. He has a similar situation regarding Borderland interfering to score a victory and the fans, along with others, have contrived their own opinions about that.
Aubrey, I know that you hinted at your own imperfections when you said that you would take advantage of a beaten man. In hindsight, you’re imaginably right. Maybe I was wrong for how I handled the plight with Atken. Things could have gone down a little differently but the past is the past and it is what it is. One cannot undo the actions of yesterday so that is just something that I will have to live with. I am a man of the future and since you are a factor of that very future tomorrow in the Battle Royale, then the age to come must be met with subjection. I’m not a man of grudges Ms. Parker but I haven’t forgotten your paradoxical actions towards me that occurred at Christmas Chaos. You are outnumbered in there tomorrow with both of the Tag Team Champions competing so the outcome shall be interesting won’t it?
And lastly speaking of my partner J-Hop, the man that I consider a brother more than a mere tag team partner or a stable mate. The Dying Breed’s unity and loyalty for one another cannot be affected by being put against each other in one single match; our bond is too strong for that. I would never stand in the way of hindering J-Hop’s flourishing career, so if he goes on to win that match tomorrow night, then so be it. But J-Hop, more than anyone else on the entire APW roster, knows what I am capable of and he knows what to expect tomorrow. But what can be expected is that The Dying Breed plans on clearing that entire ring tomorrow night together in unison until we are the last men standing. I better lay down and get some rest, I have a full plate on my hands with Asylum. Until next time…
