Warren Survive and Conquer has now come and gone and yes it was a huge ppv and all of the competitors deserve props for their showings. I myself wasn't so lucky on that day, my time was an afterthought, as it should have been. But that's all over and done with and we are all on to much bigger things. there's a certain ppv looming that I intend to have a significant role in.
Indeed my return so far has been hit or miss, if you blinked you missed my win. If you watched closely you saw that I once again left a tag team partner to fend for themselves. The second time I have done that of course.
See it's kind of my thing. I don't play that well with others, especially morons that I detest being in their presence let alone on their team. it makes me somewhat of a wild card, but that's not what I want to be known for.
I am not a tag team guy anymore. I left that behind me when I left my first partner in the ring beaten and bloodied. Yeah yeah I won the tag titles without a partner, but I lost them to. That night the Studmuffins took them from me signified the end of that era for me. And frankly I understand a show is kind of hard to book and fit everyone in, sooooooo I don't complain. I am glad to be getting paid and knocking skulls loose, but yeaaaaaah...this whole tag match just isn't my bag anymore.
So far we have only heard from Cid, my partner. He also is trying to mount a successful return here. I can't say for sure what I think of the guy, I feel like I have seen his act before, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
But hey, it's not like he is ghostbusters 3. He won;t be stuck in development hell forever, and neither will I.
See last time I cut a promo, I made somewhat of an off beat statement. That I was gunning for the North American title. I meant that, and I am not going to stop until I get that shot. Sure there are some other people who think they deserve to contend for the belt, but hey. I didn't say I wasn't willing to stomp their brains out on my way to being the champ.
So yeah, for now I will keep playing these silly games. I will show up at meltdown and be the one cool thing about our 6 man tag match. I will crack some heads open and pile drive some people until their unconscious. Maybe I will even stick around for the finish.
But soon, very soon it's time to make sure people take notice that Warren Peace is back and means business.
