The night air was cool, crisp & befitting the presence of an athletic sensation known all around as “Simply”, “The Survivor” & “Charismatic Kid”. Well yes he was on celebrity Survivor™, simply crafty & has one of the best vertical jumps in the business today. But all the nicknames spewed by the fans and the haters will all but cease to exist. The man known as “Simply” born Trevor Hyatt gripped tightly onto the limousine’s door while getting out of it. He stood In front of the Coliseum and Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California without much emotion but a clear purpose as he then proceeded to grab hold of his gym bag. He tossed it upon his shoulder walking with a smirk on his face toward the side entrance. The backstage area was filled with busy employees of the APW. Trevor was dressed in a Black hat, Black long sleeve & denim jeans driving toward the direction of the locker rooms.
He settled upon a door and walked in before slamming down his gym bag in front of a worn out locker which had a note card attached to it. The note card read “Welcome Back to Jobber-Ville” and after reading the note he just ripped it to shreds before looking around the empty locker room. The question would be why? Why? After all these years would he sit and ponder to himself about his debut match before a sold out Meltdown crowd. Well lately he has been going through what if scenarios of what would he do if the opportunity came or was given where he could wipe the previous run he had off the map. He wanted to step up to the plate this time & not falter at bat looking completely lost in the shuffle. Trevor stood up and removed his average day clothing and donned his in ring attire for the first time in a new promotion.
He stretched going through the motions in his head before turning to put his bag in the work out locker. He closed it shut before leaving the locker room walking around the backstage area; but he stopped on occasion chatting up stagehands. He then stumbled upon an old friend and someone who knew him better than all of the competitors in this company. The ratty looking Barry Davis was talking to a backstage technician about some of the new and returning talent. He particularly expressed his shock in the return of his student, exclaiming he had something most of these other guys in this company haven’t and that’s Heart. All the men & woman in this promotion were very talented and he meant very talented but they don’t have the heart, will & determination to compete with Hyatt. After he finished his little speech his former student tapped him on his shoulder. And there they were face to face for the first time in years, Hyatt held out his hand to go on to receive a warm handshake.

“Look what the cat dragged in “Simply” Trevor Hyatt… I haven’t seen your ass in years man how’s it going? See you cut down that sorry attempt at you trying to regain your hair. I always believed in you man and I’ll be watching you toss around your opponent & show these other guys what heart truly is. See they have to dig deep down into their very being to be able to find that heart. Question is can they? Can they truly be able to match up to my great pupil in the heart department?”
Trevor smirked as his former mentor gave him an insight on the fact that he had missed the presence of him these past few years. “Simply” in turn felt the utmost sincere to be able to come back and to also see Barry Davis. Barry Davis helped mold him into the man and wrestler before you today. His skill and ability is at its pinnacle all Trevor had to do was show it. And he would indeed show all the skill that he had possessed inside of him without a shadow of a doubt. The growth of Trevor was clear, so all the fans had to do was look at it and be mesmerized.
+Trevor Hyatt+
“My growth is all because of you Barry… I would have never got anywhere without your guidance. So tonight here’s what I’m going to do. You see whoever’s in this son of gun is going to come face to face with me. But they won’t get the same me from the past they’re getting the new & improved. I’m at a level of intensity that can’t be matched by many. This is my moment & this is my shot. What will you do when the world is crashing down upon you & all is lost? Don’t embrace your demise but say a prayer for you to be saved and I’ll help you up. I’m that guiding light like you once was Barry, except I’m still trying to get that one thing that’s eluding me for all these years. I’m going to claim that coveted World Heavyweight championship once again even if it kills me.”
Barry Davis saw a fire lit in the underbelly of “Simply” Trevor Hyatt. The kind of fire that is lit in amongst a dry California forest and it can’t be stopped. Barry wanted to see him achieve everything in his illustrious career and he wanted to be right beside him on this great & distinguished journey. He knew Trevor was ready and the only thing he had to do was give his freaking all to those fans.
+Barry Davis+
"You’ve always impressed me kid and tonight’s no less than that. I want you to go out there and smolder through the quote unquote competition. And then you will indeed make them believe the hype!!!”
“Simply” Trevor Hyatt & Barry Davis chuckled at the catchphrase preparing for the upcoming match…
At a press conference about APW’s newest talent, Trevor Hyatt. The press conference is live from the coliseum and sports arena in Los Angeles, California. Trevor is standing at a podium and is about to take questions.
+Trevor Hyatt+
“Okay I’m ready, let’s kick it off.”
+Reporter 1+
“Trevor, how do you feel about your new home in APW?”
+Trevor Hyatt+
“Well I have a good feeling about my career in APW. I think I have the capability to make it here and become a definite hall of famer.”
+Reporter 2+
“You said you have the capability of becoming a definite hall of fame inductee. Well on the upcoming Monday Night Meltdown 2/4/13 you face Carlisle Cain. What do you think of your chances?
+Trevor Hyatt+
“Well I have game planned and realized that Cain can take a great deal of damage, as well as dish it out. Now what I have to do is use that to my advantage. But ultimately this will come down to who wants it more. And I have a lot to prove. I’m not just a man from New Jersey that thought that I could come here with a long list of experience, numerous titles in my belt and receive an automatic push. You have to work for it. And damn it I will work my ass off to get to where I want to go and that’s the top. I want to be remembered as one of the greatest men to ever step foot on the turf of APW. And if that means I have to go through Carlisle Cain, Tuhoa Valo, Logan Alexander, and Young Mannie I don’t care. I aim for the top. And once I get there I won’t be knocked off.”
+Reporter 3+
“Some people say you won’t get anywhere in APW? How do you respond to that? “
+Trevor Hyatt+
“Well people told Ray Lewis he can’t become a NFL Athlete and look at him. He’s a superstar and a sure fire Pro Football Hall of Famer. He’s also on his way to another Super Bowl ring in his retirement season. People told President Obama he wouldn’t have another chance for a 2nd term. He got 4 more years. People told Ke$ha that she wouldn’t be anything because she had Food Stamps and Welfare all her life. Now she’s a pop icon. So to all those people that doubt me, when you ask for your forgiveness I won’t forgive you.”
+Reporter 1+
“And what about Logan Alexander. The current North American Champion. How do you feel about your chances at taking the North American Championship and about his ability?”
+Trevor Hyatt+
“I have a lot of work to do before I can get into the Main Event picture so I can’t answer that question.”
+Reporter 1+
“And the second question?”
+Trevor Hyatt+
“Look the bottom line is the top guy on Meltdown is Logan. And there’s an open shot for anyone to take that position as face of this great franchise. So the question should really be, so now what?”
+Reporter 4+
“Any last words Trevor? “
+Trevor Hyatt+
“Yeah. Camera man you better get a good look at this. Today is the first day I have of my APW career. And I will hopefully be here for a very, very long time. But for now I am what I am and that's the new or rookie in terms of APW’s concerned. Just like Robert Griffin III was. And like RG3 I will make a huge splash on the scene. And what I'm doing now is just talking. But what I'm not doing is competing. And that's what I came here for. To compete. Not to answer questions by my loving media. So to prove I came here to fight.”
Trevor Hyatt lets a security guard try to beat him down. He turns the tables on the bodyguard and Only Splashes him off the stage before gaining footing. He gets up and talks into the podium.
+Trevor Hyatt+
“I am “Simply” Trevor Hyatt and folks don’t readjust your televisions your favorite wrestling son has come forth once again. Countdown till victory is 1…2…3!”
He then looks at the downed APW security guard.
+Trevor Hyatt+
“So, this is Hollywood let’s Gangnam Style before my debut. Huh? Party!”
Camera fades away as Trevor Hyatt surfs the crowd.
