I will be re-releasing a mixtape I previously had out before but this time as album with new tracks...So I'm really excited to put my music out there seriously, I know from previous experiance that alot of people on the forum don't enjoy rap music. So I can't change that but this is what I do/love with a passion, so If your interested check it out and If you choose to comment please be positive. Thank you! soundcloud.com/ionic_recordings/007-clean-version

I love Rap Music....I just like GOOD music. You know how it is though, I'm hard on your music because of certain things. Not saying the lyrics aren't working but I just hear something that isn't natural. But I'll surely give this a listen when I write my Rp. I've always listened just sometimes didn't have too much good to say. You need to take the negativity like you did with Mannie and fix it to better yourself.

This is me Kash...at the of the day this is me! If you hear what you hear I can't help that but for me to form myself into things I don't like sonicallly just ain't me. I love what I do, trust and believe I'm am in no form some type of garbage or terrible so I will not take opinion saying I am. As it comes to feedback I don't mind it but if it's going be a majority of negativity, what does that do for me? Nothing! I don't need that type of energy, I mean I'm honest with myself and my music so why fault me?

Which is TJ for you don't improve yourself if you don't know what's not working. Music is one of the many things that is always changing, you can't just stick with "what works" ya gotta change it up man. Listening to the 007 track, it's not bad. I like the beat to it, but i couldn't get past the echo effect that your vocals had. I've never listened to your past music so if that's what you do then that's what you do. It's just its hard to understand the lyrics. That said, it's a nice sound R&B song.

I BEEN PREACHING THIS! Just ONCE give me a track that is nothing but your voice. That's it. It befuddles, yes, befuddles me that people like Lil' Wayne can have such a simple and lazy in everything they do style that people like it because the majority can produce it themselves. I hate Texas rap scene. When I first moved back I went to like 4 Underground Shows featuring upcoming artists from all over TX and all of them used the gay metaphor flows instead of giving an indepth to their flow. I'm just critical of shit like that and the only thing I've said to you Mannie is to let people hear YOU without the echo effects or any effects. Other than that I think what you do is brave and you believe in it which is strong minded. Plus you've included Jason Kash's name in a Rap. Potential. Haha. That will be a forever long memory...I was mentioned in a rap song, WHUT!

Alright, man, I'll try to be as positive if I can about the track man. It's solid, and I like it; I'll be honest, it's got the R&B feel to it that makes it a bit closer to what I look for than the mainstream stuff released today. You've got a good beat to it, and it's not all about how you're the best rapper in the world or about how you've got shittons of money. That's good.
Now, I'll give you a bit of what you could improve upon IMO, in what Stewie Griffin would call the "complement sandwich". I like the verses a whole lot, and the flow seems reasonable, but I'm not that fond of the chorus. I'm not sure why, but it seems a bit repetitive; if you were to cut out the repetition of the same exact lyric multiple times and mix it up a bit, that would make it much better, or if you prefer, you could shorten the chorus, and it would have the same positive improvement IMO, but the way it is, the chorus seems drawn out and gets a bit... boring. It's not the worst I've heard, but it's not the best either.
I'll finish this up on a positive note, bro. You've got a great beat, a couple solid verses in there, and it sounds very well edited. And if nothing else, I can say that I've never heard anything quite like it before; something different is a good thing in my opinion, and if there's one thing I don't like in music even more than someone just straight up making bullshit music, it's something that's ripping off someone else. I've never heard something quite like it before, and I'm saying that in a good way; it's original, and it's good.

Still comes off too Drake-ish to me. Gotta be more original to stand out. But it's the best thing I've heard from you so you've risen up a bit. At least using the effects better. So MUCH better but give it some MORE of your own stank. Make sense? Excellent choice for a beat though, not sure of the actual song but it was a good fit. Has a Jungle Clap feel to it without being too Wild. Make Sense?

Thanks Roy for even listening that means alot to me and Jason, I still kind of don't understand so much the Drake comparsions but maybe it's my hooks or writing style? But as I told you before If so much as to my vocals (effects or not) I can't change my tenor...I have 1st/2nd tenor with a distinct tone, so If comes Drakish sorry. So I can actually use all this feedback for the good as well, So I will try my best to use less and less effects. So Jason you can also expect more "Stank" from me as well.

I'll give this a listen this afternoon.. but when you tell people to not say "negative" things, it sends me into it knowing that I'm going to nitpick it and look for the "negative" things. Nobody gets anywhere without constructive criticism!

I've heard your music Hyatt. I can't remember who but someone gave me the link when you were still Calvin. Same guy right? Maybe I'm just high.
Mannie don't listen to CHINut. Rap doesn't have to be and isn't at it's best with the whole "Gangsta Rap" and only a few REAL ones have ever done it. Guys like Snoop Dogg who got into the Crips due to a Peace Treaty where Bloods and Crips were HANDING out free memberships. I won't even get into the joke of some Studio Thugs out there. I don't care for that music anymore personally because if you've lived even a portion of that world then it's not something to brag about in no kind of way.
Do you Mannie, as I've always told you. Doesn't matter if I or anyone else dislikes the product, you do. If I rped based on people WANTING me around, I'd be short lived in most places and probably wouldn't be around as long as I have. Fuck the doubters and haters but know the difference between positive feedback and negative. You can never have enough positive feedback from a second pair of ears. Push what suits you not what suits others. Write that down. Haha

If I hadn't gotten a chick pregnant in Bremerton, WA I would have picked up and moved to Seattle, WA to become an Apprentice to an Talent Scout who worked the West Coast and Canada. I almost did but I made the "Mistake" of seeing my son when he was born and turned it down. Best Buy has become my musical glass ceiling...

I listened to this and while I am usually your biggest critic (as proof, he has a song that name drops Jason Kash!) But I liked what I heard on that Twitter post. YOUR VOICE, no additives. The flow wasn't just mainstream, it felt laced like either. Now it can still improve, I want to hear more and see the growth because AS your biggest critic I like to see the hustle to prove folks wrong. Do ya thing.

Meaning it was much better than anything else I've heard from you. Means I didn't hear that garbage sound that you use to use. Ya know, the one that was reaching for that Wayne/Drake style? I know I've told you before but it's good that you've moved from that, must be listening to new artists. Regardless. It was much better man.

Irrelevant: Totally not my style of music. 'Nuff about that! Relevant: Actually really impressed by your voice. Pretty well-produced too. It's a bit hard for me to comment on if it's objectively 'good' or not within its genre, but there are elements I like. The backing track's fun, though possibly a bit overblown. That 'uh-huh' gets to be irritating fairly quickly, and distracts from your solid micwork. I'd either make the backing more minimalistic in general, or at least bump your voice a touch higher in the mix. As it is, the mix sounds a bit too busy, and that's coming from someone who loves prog rock.
