As the scene slowly fades into play we see Shane Borderland, sitting in his locker room behind the table of recording equipment. Eric Jackson sits on the steel chair in front of Shane. Shane looks at Eric with a look of disgust on his face.

Yea well im going to be gunning for him soon or whoever wears that championship. All I know is that im going to be the next top superstar on Asylum. Im tired of being behind the shadows. Its time for me to stand up and prove that im one of the best.

Well you have already proved that you are a force to reckon with. I mean before the last break you took, look at what all you accomplished. You worked your way up from the bottom, showing everyone that it was your time. You earned yourself a World Championship match and then that son of a bitch Jason Kash took you out. Yea well this is a whole new year and I plan on making it the year of the Bad Boy. I plan on running Asylum this year. I am going to be the one on top and im going to to be the one that everyone has to answer to. Im sick of being a nobody. Everyone looks at me like im just some rookie, still trying to prove his worth. No one looks at me like they know who I am or what I am about. Its like im still trying to impress everyone on this damn roster. Well its not going to work like that. Im sick of trying, now its time for me to start doing no matter who or what is in my way. Im going to take anything out that stands in my vision.

Well now seems like a good chance to me Shane. You might have lost to Callahan, but now you could make a fool out of the newcomer Christian Kane and rise yourself back to the top. I mean everyone thinks this Kane kid has what it takes to become one of the best, so why dont you show them that they are wrong and you will be the one standing on top of that mountain soon.

Yea well its going to take more than some hot shot kid to shut me up. Im sick of these new guys coming in and winning a few match, none really showing their dominance, but they still think that they can do anything they want. Well after I prove once again why I belong on top. Everything will fall right into place. These new guys will have a new leader to look up to. This old guys will have a new challenger to admire. And last but least, Jason Kash. He will be looking forward to stepping into the ring with me one more time.

All Jason Kash did was brought me to APW. After that, I did all the talking and walking for myself. Just like Christian Kane has. He has really showed what he wants out of the APW. He knows exactly what he wants. He has beaten some names around here that are very familiar with me. Like D-Day, Donald Deruty. I have seen that guy come from the bottom and plunge to the top in one month back in the old WCF days. So I know Christian Kane is a worthy opponent. But right now its just not his time. There is no one on the Asylum brand that deserves anything like I do. Sure I havent been here as long as some of the others, or my life has been up and down out of my wrestling career. But I know for what I have done and been through in this company. I should be the one headlining Rasslemania. I should be the one walking out the new World Champion and finally getting the respect around here that I deserve. But like you said Eric. That time is rapidly approaching. Since the APW thinks so highly of Christian Kane, well its time for me to show them who they should believe in around here.

Sure making it on Asylum is the least of your worries right now. It seems to me like the biggest worry you have at the moment is trying to make a believer out of everyone by simply taking me out. You want to prove how really bad you are? Well lets see if you can hang with me. Im the one that is going to manipulate you in front of everyone. I will be the one showing them that my return is going to be better than ever. Sure I might have lost a chance of a lifetime last week. But that doesnt mean that I wont work my way back up through the rankings and earn myself another chance of becoming World Champion like I have done two times before. You are merely a speed bump for me Christian Kane. All you are doing is trying to delay the inevitable. I havent been able to climb all the way to the top. Every time I get seconds away from standing on the top, I have something come up or I get taken out by a guy that is scared of my ability to run a place that he brought me to. Now I know that all you have on your mind right now is setting up a name for yourself on Asylum. You want to be one of the top contenders to walk around here with your head held high. But the difference between me and you is, I have already done that. Sure I havent held a singles championship since the day I stepped foot into a APW arena, but I have already proved my worth around here. Everyone knows what I can do and everyone also knows that I will not stop at nothing. You my friend have a long ways to go before you can even start thinking that you are going to be a top contender on the Asylum brand. Even though im not going to Rasslemania fighting for what actually belongs to me, but I am going to settle a problem. A problem that has been around for nearly a year now. I dont know if anyone could see it, but it was there. Kash and me have been at each other for awhile and we both want to prove which one is the best between the two. So after your ass gets carried out on a gurney, I will move on to show everyone that im not a shadow of the man that claims to made me.

I have came so close to becoming World Champion before, I almost won Test For the Best when I first stepped foot into an APW arena, what have you done? Nothing! You came in, won some matches and then you got a chance at becoming the North American Champion on Meltdown and you failed. Hehe, sounds like something that has happened to me before. But the thing is, at least you got the chance to fight for a championship. I get taken out before I get my shot every single damn time. Now thats not going to happen.
Yea Callahan was the better man last week, but now im seeing things clearly. Its not what I want to do, its how im going to do it.
