Empires Erased I: Starting at the Top
[The scene opens up as the following words flash across the screen…
“Action Packed Wrestling Presents…
In association with Havey Creations…
Starting at the Top”
The scene opens up in what looks to be a cave. We're not in a cave, however... We're in the Underworld. Nathaniel Havok stands behind a homely looking man, dressed in a dirty coat and sweats. As Nathaniel looks on with a smirk on his face, the man has his hands pressed together, begging for his life.][/center]
Scene I: The Demonic Foodchain
Cole Turner
I'm sorry, Maliki... But the fact remains that you turned on your leader. Regardless of whether or not he was alive or dead, you still turned. Now, you know as well as I do that turning on the Source is punishable by immediate death.
Maliki
Please, Balthazar, I beg of you! We had no clue that he was alive! We thought the Underworld would be in shambles, if we didn't act right away! We couldn't have just ANYONE taking the Source's throne! I took it upon myself to try and preserve it, hoping he'd come back one day!
[Nathaniel places his hand on Maliki's shoulder, spinning him around. Once Maliki notices who has a hold of him, his eyes get as big as saucers. Maliki looks as if he's seen a ghost.]
Nathaniel Havok
Dare you stand here and lie to our faces? Have you no dignity, Maliki? No honor, no integrity?
[Nathaniel spits on the ground below him.]
Nathaniel Havok
You must pay for your treachery. Much like the rest of those who thought they could take my throne... Your crimes against the Source will not go unpunished.
Maliki
My liege... In defense of everyone who attempted to claim your throne, you did grow to love. Everyone knows that if the Source grows to love, the Source must relinquish his power.
Cole Turner
Yet again, you stand there and give excuses. This is not a pity party, Maliki. As a matter of fact, when I was the Source, need I remind you that I fell in love with a Charmed One? Nathaniel fell in love with a mortal, falling in love with Sally Talfourd is far more acceptable of the Source, than falling in love with a Charmed One. Slip your mind, Maliki?
Maliki
I... I... I... My liege, I beg of you.
Nathaniel Havok
You weak, pathetic, little puke! Stand in front of me like a man of honor! Begging will bring you nothing but pain, and eventually death.
Maliki
My lord, I...
[Nathaniel raises his hand, as a fireball appears. Throwing the fireball at the traitor, Maliki explodes and vanishes into thin air. Nathaniel brushes off his hands, smirking at Cole.]
Nathaniel Havok
I thought that you said we were starting at the top?
Cole Turner
What do you mean?
Nathaniel Havok
If Maliki was the top of the demonic foodchain that tried to turn on me... This should be very, VERY easy.
Cole Turner
You'd think. But the next name on our list, it might just change your mind.
Nathaniel Havok
Barbus isn't a threat to me.
Cole Turner
It's not Barbus. As a matter of fact, I don't even have him on the list.
Nathaniel Havok
Okay? Then who in the hell is it?
Cole Turner
Aiden Payne... The same man you dubbed "the Demon of Illusion".
Nathaniel Havok
The same man who's killed me once before...
[The scene fades to black.]

Scene II: I Have No Equals
Jermaine Oulette
Hello ladies and gentlemen, this is Jermaine Oulette here for WKGB, your home for sports and sports entertainment! Right now, you're either watching via webcast, or listening via radio, to the weekly wrap up on WKGB! Today, my special guest is none other than the Enforcer of Sorrow, Nathaniel Havok. Last week, we all witnessed a man known as "The Finnish Phenom Tuhoa Valo", unmask himself. That man ended up being the man you see before you now, Nathaniel Havok. A man who was thought to be gone for good from Action Packed Wrestling, after losing a career ending match to the APW President just one short year ago. However, a year removed, and he's back and better than ever! Nathaniel, I have to admit, I'm glad to see you're back. But let's get down to business. It's obvious that there's no ring rust. I mean, you've been back since the beginning of October! But what do you have planned for Meltdown and the rest of APW, as you make your return to the ring, under the Nathaniel Havok name? This will be your first time in a year back in APW under the name, and you'll be doing it in none other than Halifax Nova Scotia! Personally, I'm "marking out" at that fact.
Nathaniel Havok
First of all, my plans have taken a slight detour for this week. While I won’t stray away from making my intentions clear, I have a bit of an issue with an English chap who's head is as big as his mouth.
Jermaine Oulette
That's right! Last week, The Guv'nor was able to squeak out a victory, beating you in a tag team match with his partner, Mr. Dangerous.
Nathaniel Havok
No, no he wasn't. He wasn't able to beat me, he was able to beat Robina. Little Lenny never beat Nathaniel Havok, because he CAN'T beat Nathaniel Havok. And that's the issue, that's the problem here, Jermaine. This guy, for some reason, has been here for three weeks, and is already partaking in his second main event appearance. Me? When I got to APW, I had to eat a whole hell of a lot more shit than he has, before I was even considered for a main event spot.
Jermaine Oulette
Shouldn't you be taking this as a compliment? It's obvious that he's got some issues with Alexander Duvall and Sienna Harrison. They've chosen you to take care of these issues for them, giving him the best of the best that Meltdown has to offer. So again, shouldn't you be taking that as a compliment?
Nathaniel Havok
You could say that, but I don't see it that way. How quick the world forgets, I just blackmailed Duvall into an iron-clad contract. Furthermore, I made APW Management look like a bunch of idiots, if they hadn't done that themselves already! This is all a part of their plan, Jermaine. Making it look like they're against each other, Duvall brought in an outsider to try and take care of me. I see right through it, man! I know what's going on! These two are in this together, and it's only a matter of time until it all comes out!
Think about it! Little Lenny makes his APW debut around the same exact time that I decide to use my leverage against Duvall. THEN, Little Lenny is given a main event spot without ever having earned it. Do you honestly think that it's a coincidence? You don't strike me as your average "mark", Jermaine. As a matter of fact, I know you're not. You're very smart about the business. Canada is a hotbed for professional wrestling of all kinds! Furthermore, Canada is the homebase of Action Packed Wrestling. Of all fans, Canadians are the ones who get it the most. Don't stand there and tell me that you don't see the pattern, you can see past the charade as much as I can.
But don't worry, Nathaniel Havok has got this situation under control. Because my new deal, it means that no matter what I do to these two, I can't be fired. ESPECIALLY with the APW President saying that he wants nothing to do with me... Duvall would NEVER have the balls to fire me! Thus, I'll expose their little bromance. Soon enough, the entire APW world will know that this whole time... They've been booing the wrong man. Why? Because I give them truth. I state only facts, and I don't sugarcoat the bullshit! Then again, that's why they hate me, too. So I guess it kind of evens itself out, right? Nevertheless, I'll expose the both of them.
Jermaine Oulette
So what do you think about the Guv'nor? I mean, if you ask me, I'd say that it was only a matter of time before he was in the main event, anyways. So why be so sour about it? Why not welcome the competition?
Nathaniel Havok
Trust me, I welcome the competition with open arms. I had the opportunity to lock horns and witness first hand exactly what this guy brings to the table, and I agree with you. Little Lenny is a main event waiting to happen. But the problem lies in the fact that Little Lenny is starting at the top. And while he might be able to hang with anybody else on the Meltdown roster... I'M NATHANIEL HAVOK! The truth is, I have no equals! He is in no way, shape, or form, anywhere near ready for one on one competition with someone like myself! I mean, I'm the man with the show on his shoulders, for heaven’s sake! I'm the best that Action Packed Wrestling has to offer! But more than that, last Monday night, I proved that I'm the most intelligent competitor to ever step foot into a wrestling ring!
Nathaniel Havok, he's a mastermind. As a matter of fact, I'm the absolute greatest mastermind in the history of our great sport. Not only can I get myself into any situation I want, but I can also get myself out of any situation I want. I wanted back IN Action Packed Wrestling, and I got back in. If I find myself in trouble against this guy, which is highly unlikely, but nevertheless, I can find my way out of trouble. The bottom line is, Little Lenny is in for the fight of his life. I plan on giving him a formal and proper welcome to Action Packed Wrestling. I also plan on showing him who the top dog on the show is. Because if he doesn't know already, after Monday night, he'll know for sure. Monday Night Meltdown, it's my show now.
Remember saying that Little Lenny was able to "squeak out a victory, beating me in a tag team match"? Well, that's the big issue this week. Upon cementing myself as the top contender on Meltdown by revealing my true identity, I have to prove that it was Robina Hood he beat. I have to prove that he never came close to defeating the Enforcer of Sorrow. In my expert opinion, one day, the Guv'nor will be the star of the show. HOWEVER, Little Lenny won’t become the star of the show, until I decide that he can become the star of the show. Needless to say, Lenny won’t be the star, until Nathaniel Havok decides that it's time to move on from Meltdown.
You see, one of the perks of my new contract, is the fact that I get to decide where I go, and when I leave. I had it placed in my contract that I am exclusive to the Meltdown brand for at least the next sixth months. After that, I go wherever I want to go, if I so choose to leave. But for right now, you can find me on the only show that matters. And the only show that matters, is obviously whatever show that Nathaniel Havok is on. Right now, that's Monday Night Meltdown. In the future, who knows? It could be Overdrive, it could be Asylum, or I could just decide to stay where I'm at, and dominate Meltdown for the foreseeable future. All I know, is that Little Lenny doesn't even need to think about taking THIS SHOW and putting it on his shoulders, until I give him the go ahead. Because for the time being, and until I'm ready to give it up, Meltdown is my show.
So this week, it's my opportunity to put Little Lenny back in his place. People might think that I'm doing it in the name of Alexander Duvall. But the truth is, I answer to no man! Duvall wants me to jump, I'll never ask him "how high?"! Truth be told, I tell Alexander Duvall when to jump, much like I did when I blackmailed him into giving me a new contract! Face it, there's no way around it... 2013 will be the year of Nathaniel Havok. My rise back to the top, has only just begun! Unlike Little Lenny, I earn what I'm given! I'm not hired and placed into a position of power right away, just because the boss wants someone on his side. They can try and hide it as much as they want to, but I will expose the truth! Try as they might, they will fail every single time.
Jermaine Oulette
So do you have any final words for the Guv'nor?
Nathaniel Havok
Little Lenny, buddy, do yourself a huge favor, go ahead and chalk this match up as a loss. Truth is, you're not going to get anywhere this Monday night. Me? I've got a lot to accomplish over the next few weeks, and I've topped that list with putting you in your place. It's nothing personal, it's just business. In business... In the WRESTLING business, to be more specific... You pay your dues. And it's obvious to me, that Alexander Duvall has ensured you'll have no dues to pay. Hide it if you'd like, but the two of you are in this together! There's no other explanation for your immediate rise to the top of the Meltdown ranks. To be completely honest with you, I'm going to take great pride in being the man that shows the world exactly how "not ready" you really are.
You might get there sooner than later, but you're nowhere near ready to get into the ring with someone like me. Nathaniel Havok is a completely different breed of wrestler than you've ever been competed with before. And this Monday night, when the show is over, when you finally wake up from the nap you take at my hands. Then, and only then, will you finally realize that maybe you should have thought about it a little more, before you decided to make a deal with Alexander Duvall. Because once I'm finished exposing the two of you, your APW career could very-well be over.
Jermaine Oulette
Meltdown makes its way to the Halifax Metro Centre this Monday night and fans, I wouldn't miss it!
