Recently
The scene opens up inside the new “Main Attraction” tour bus…
which I might add was paid for by Amy Zing’s salary. The bus is on route to Calgary, Alberta, Canada; as they’re coming from the last Meltdown show in New York, New York. We now see “The Main Attraction” himself laying back and using his laptop, while Uncle Charlie is discussing business over a bottle of Chocolate Wasted. Now in addition as to the whereabouts of Alec Quartermain is whole other story… [/i][/color]
“So how do you like the new bus nephew?”
“It looks good…But I will need you too tweak a few things for me.”
“Like what nephew?”
“Well for one the color is all wrong, the whole bus needs to be dark orchid.”
“Okay I can do that of course, anything else.”
“Yeah I need my name all on the side.”
“You got it, anything else nephew?”
“That’s all Uncle.”
“Alright.”
Uncle Charlie goes to grab the bottle of Chocolate Wasted but finds to see that the bottle is almost empty, so he gets up to grab another one from the cabinet. While getting the new bottle he notices Mannie to watching his laptop intensely, Uncle Charlie pauses to ask him something
“So nephew I see you’re really into whatever is on the computer, so what’s going on?”
“Nothing much, I’m just scouting the Asylum roster. Did you ever get those papers I needed?”
“As a matter of fact, yes I did. Here you go nephew, Speaking of which your debut match on Asylum is in the main event.”
“Awesome as it should be, so who are my opponents? You know how they love to put the odds against me…”
“Not this time nephew, this time it’s only one person.”
“Well that’s fantastic who?”
“Phil Atken!”
Mannie makes a face of disbelief
“What’s wrong nephew? Should I cancel it?”
“No that’s fine, I’m good…I’m kind of thrown of because I’m finally getting the recognition I deserve, So they’re really giving me the main event against the World Champ. So it’s official I have arrived.”
“So I would agree, so you know what this means nephew?”
“Of course I do Uncle Charlie, it means more money and more T.V. time. So yep and now with these papers drew up from William D. Williams, I can now have all the extra perks I wanted in my APW contract. So with that taken care of, I can get to training for the match against Atken. So could you wake up Alec for me?”
“Well that’s the thing…Alec isn’t back there sleeping.”
“Well where the hell is he?”
“Honestly I don’t know, he said he some business to take care of but he would meet us before the next show.”
“Well did he at least say where he was?”
“Last time I checked nephew, he sent me a video message of him being on an airplane.”
“What?”
“I know I couldn't believe it myself....”
“Well what the hell is going on?”
“I wish I knew nephew.”
“Well never the less so since he will be gone for the time being, I will need to train hard. So where is the closet gym around here?”
The scene ends with Mannie and Uncle Charlie discussing more business.
Flashback
The scene picks off from the previous February 18th Edition of Meltdown, We see Mannie and company heading down the corridor with their bags. The tandem seems to be in the best of moods as their having a conversation on how the night had gone. Mannie & Uncle Charlie are already talking about which club to hit afterwards while Alec falls behind after receiving a text. Mannie & Charlie notices that Alec is not beside them so they slow down, but Alec smiles and tells to them go ahead. Mannie & Charlie nod okay as they keep going, while Alec seems to now show a facial expression of heartbreak. Alec is now squatting since reading the text which prompts him to run to the parking area and he grabs the nearest car from the valet, before taking off towards the airport.
Meanwhile
The scene now opens in Blackpool, England which is the hometown of Alec Quartermain, There are people walking all around as we can now view from a wide angle the large frame of Alec walking down the street with nothing but a bouquet of flowers. Alec seems eager but in too much of a rush as he arrives to a kind of dated townhouse.
Alec hesitates knocking but he goes ahead anyways, as he finishes the door is quickly answered by a young woman who seems to awestruck of seeing Alec. The woman only opens the door at a 90 degree angle while only peeping her head out. [/i]

“May I help you?”
“Yes ummm…I’m not sure if this is the right address, but is possible that a Rose Mirren lives here?”
“Excuse me but who are you?”
Alec is ready to answer the question but he notices through the other side of the door that Rose Mirren is inside, so he brushes past the woman to rush towards Rose Mirren who is standing while facing a Grandfather clock. Alec just stands and stares at Rose, while the young woman goes to the nearest home phone to call the police.
“Emily that’s okay…There will be no need in calling the police”
Emily is still on guard as she grabs a vase from the side wall
“But why mother? He could be a murderer! Get out my house you wanker or I will beat the living shit out of you!”
Alec looks confused as he now is looking at Emily in awe as well
“Mother?”
“Emily put the vase down.”
Rose turns to look at both Alec and Emily with a calm expression
“Just ease yourself, I know you wouldn’t strike your only brother now would you?”
The scene ends with Emily dropping the vase in shock as it shatters all over the floor

The scene opens up in Universal City, California on the Universal Studios Stage One lot. It seems that Uncle Charlie has landed Mannie his first big media spot, which just so happens to be on the E! network show.
We can now see “The Main Attraction” backstage in the lobby with Uncle Charlie, who there to support him because of Mannie has been kind of nervous since arriving. Mannie can’t seem to stay still as Charlie finally says something. [/i]

“Mannie will you stop that! Damn you’re making me nervous…”
“Sorry Uncle, It’s just a lot to handle with all this pressure being on me you know?”
Uncle Charlie stops reading the magazine he had in his hand and tosses it, after hearing Mannie’s words.
“No I don’t know nephew, because I never had the chances you had when I was coming up. See when my sister and I used to struggle as kids to contribute to the house, while others got to play did we get mad? Sure we did but we did what had to do, you know why?”
“I know Uncle Charlie, I know…”
“No I don’t think you do nephew, you have a chances and opportunities that people dream of…So don’t you dare pussy out on me and everyone else who believed in you.”
“Okay, okay I got it!”
“Do you?”
“Yes Uncle I do.”
“Well good now get your game face on and be who you were born to be nephew, go ahead and be “The Main Attraction”.”
“Your damn right Uncle, Time is money and you can bet I’m worth every dollar.”
We now see a confident Mannie nodding agreement with Uncle Charlie, just as a stagehand emerges to let him know that he is on next.
“So is everything okay, are we set to go?”
“Yep everything is fine, we are good right Mannie?”
“Yeah were okay.”
“Awesome, so if you would follow me!”
“Sure…well here goes nothing.”
Mannie walks out the room with the stagehand heading up the hallway towards the main stage, Mannie is halted as Chelsea finishes up with her round table with fellow comedians Chris Hardwick, Loni Love, and Bobby Lee. Mannie tries to get the last bit of nervousness out before he is introduced, the same stagehand is now back to tell Mannie it’s time.
“Okay were ready Mr.Mannie, the interview will be 5 minutes long. The key is to relax and if all else fails just be you sir.”
“Okay I can do that.”
“Well I think that’s about it, good luck.”
“Thank you!”
We now see the cameras are back rolling as Mannie is now being introduced
“Are next guest can be found every other Sunday on the Food Network beating the crap out of whoever he damn well pleases, and he’s has been said to be one of next breakout stars in pro-wrestling. If you don’t know who he is by now; well allow me to introduce the current APW North American Champion, he is “The Main Attraction” Young Mannie!”
Mannie makes his way onto the stage as Chelsea stands to greet him with a hug & kiss, while Mannie waves to the audience before sitting down.
“Well welcome to Chelsea Lately Mannie.”
“Thank you for the chance to come on, I appreciate it.”
“Well your welcome and feel free to come on anytime"
Mannie is already laughing along with the audience
"So Mannie, I don’t know if you know this but it was actually me and not the agents who booked you. I am actually a real wrestling fan, I might not be as big of one as I used to be but I still watch when I get the chance. So the way I came upon you was when I was flipping through channels and I saw this tall, handsome, black man, doing some incredible things in the ring.”
Mannie kind of blushes as the in-studio audience found a dirty joke out the comment, as Chelsea just smiles.
“I’m serious people, this guy is talented. I was like seriously sitting there like how was some of that stuff even possible. I trying to remember actually if was a couple weeks ago or not but I was tuning into Meltdown I believe?”
“Yeah that’s right Meltdown is the show I exclusively used to be on before I was drafted to Asylum.”
“Meltdown, Asylum? Sounds like its all kinds of crazy going on over there in APW, it might be my kind of place.”
“Haha well I wouldn’t say everyone is crazy, but there are a lot of them.”
“Speaking of which when I had tuned into the episode, I saw you inside a cage with some hot crazy Asian chick and you two were beating the hell out of each other. Now correct me if I’m wrong but men and women can wrestle each other? Like there are no separate divisions?”
“Well that’s correct, we feel as company that wrestling should not be limited to gender restrictions. So unlike most sports and other promotions we allow to the women to compete on the same level as men.”
Chelsea and the audience applaud as she chimes in.
“That’s what I’m talking about…Gender equality. But if I can be honest, she was kicking your ass!”
The audience laughs as Mannie waves off the comment
“Nonsense Chelsea, I was merely playing possum on the right occasions just so that it would allow me to strike at the proper moments. So as you can see it paid because I am still the North American champion.”
The audience applauds as Chelsea responds.
“Okay sir, I can argue that. So it must be awesome being a champion right?”
“Yeah it is, It’s been a long time coming but I knew a change would come…Oh yes it did!”
“Wait...why does that sound familiar?”
“I’m not sure what you’re talking about.”
The audience laughs as some in the back tells Chelsea something
“Yeah that’s right, It’s Sam Cooke. Nice try Mannie but you can’t fool me.”
Mannie sips from his glass mug as he shrugs
“You got me, but what can I say honestly though. I started from the Bottom and now I’m here!”
“Okay Mannie I know that one, but I know for a fact that you weren’t always “The Main Attraction. So thanks to some “Investigative Journalism” I was able to dig up some old footage. Now let’s pull up a photo of what you used to look like Mannie or should I say Mr.420?”
“Oh no!”
Mannie can’t help but cover his face as the image show up on screen, prompting a few members of the audience to laugh while some whistle at him.
“Please take that down Chelsea.”
“Mm mm mmm! Now look at this guy ladies, He just screams champion… So Mannie what happened to Mr.420?”
“Well to make a long story short, he is gone for good. He was holding me back…you know for me Chelsea it was fun at first, but after a few years you get typed-cast you know? I woke up one day and I realized I was stuck in the same place in the company that I started at years ago, I just saw a fat out of shape stoner who couldn’t get the job done. So I decided that I needed to change things about myself to get the next level. I really needed to be take seriously, so that’s when I dropped Mr.420.”
“Well it seemed to be the right decision, you clean up very nice. You got great taste in clothes I see, I mean come what a nice suit and isn’t he just so handsome. Well anytime you want to come by, please do Mannie?”
“It would be my pleasure.”
“You're such a charmer, well there you have it ladies and gentleman, that’s why he is the APW North American Champion. Come on everybody let’s give it up one more time for “The Main Attraction” Young Mannie!”
The scene fades as the show goes to commercial break allowing Mannie & Chelsea to talk freely.
