I give feedback as I read, so it looks like results you might read on prowrestling.net or something like that. Looking forward to reading this show...
Great opening segment by Nathaniel Havok. Little bit lengthy, but it really let me get to know his goals as well as see some of his ability on the show. Dude has talent.
Robina/Sienna/Evan Segment - Excellent job of getting over that Mania was in the building. What is not to love about Evan Envi's character. Fantastic.
McDonald/Megan vs. Hyatt/Martin - Solid tag match. All 4 competitors will be able to use this as fodder in future RPs. Solid writing for solid characters.
Warren/Mannie segment - YES! Very enjoyable segment that has me ready for the Hood/Warren match!
Guv'Nor segment - Solid work by Guv. The meat in a vegetarian's cupboard comment made me laugh. I'm really digging the Guv'nor and his interactions.
Cid/Dhalia match - Another solid outing aided by solid matchwriters. Great showing this week. Glad to see these guys active.
CK/AJP Segment - A nice little segment that leads up to things later. Enjoyable read.
Havok Segment - Havok is on fire tonight. Nice segment that has piqued my curiosity.
Gooch/Knoxville vs. NBK Match - Enjoyable action packed match. Another great job by the match writer. The outside interference was well done. I thought the announcers did a good job of selling what had just happened. I really liked it, the no contest was a nice tough and builds into next week. I like the creative booking and I'm interested to see where it goes for Rasslemania. Envi and TMarv put a lot into this show and the swerves are only there to build storylines and to help with RPing. No need to get upset. Just enjoy the ride.
Cid Phoenix Segment - I almost busted out laughing at the "first jobber to sing my title" line. I dug Phoenix's rage. Lawsuit to come? j/k. I really enjoyed this.
Peace/Hood/Mannie match - Big win for Robina. I got somewhat confused in the last part, but that could just be me. Good to see brass knuckles again.
Guv'nor Segment - Great to see a response from last week. Who else is pumped about a Havok vs. Guv'nor? I know I am.
Duval/Seinna Segment - Great build for Mania coming in. I'm a big fan of Mania, so seeing him an extra time during thee will be a treat. I'm interested to see Duvall's interaction with Mania and Jeff next week.
Havok vs. Guv'nor match - I had lofty expectations and this one met them while still leaving room for more. Great match writing for a match between two guys who really care. I enjoyed Havok and Guv's segments and that led up to making the match something I really wanted to "see."
Final segment - Quick. I liked the pace of the final segment, it added to it honestly. This was a great case of less is more and a great use of the mic being cut off. Great to see Amy Zing attack Havok. I'm pumped to see what happens next.
Overall - Great show. The segments flowed together well and the match writers were on fire. Well done guys! VERY well done.

As far as the Tag Match goes, I think people need to give the Staff/Management a bit more trust as far as creating an entertaining product. The match had no victor? Well then be surprised by what is in store for things to come. Complaining because nobody got a victory shows that you only care about the victory and guess what? You'll find yourself far more disappointed down the road because nobody in APW has a Goldberg record. Not even TMarv or Level One and those guys would tear your hearts out.
While the matches are Rp Based, it's fun and ENTERTAINING to all to at times add in a little angle. Could you have been told before hand? Maybe but was it needed? Not at all. If your not doing shit but writing rps then it's Management who has to try and put you in a position to be more active, get you wanting to put in on segments and get involved. Sorry but nobody should need to gripe at Staff because they done such an outstanding job with Meltdown, with Asylum, and with Overdrive (of course) and you should praise them for giving you something to look forward to and be surprised and curious by. Just saying...Good show overall though.

Just saying...Good show overall though. This is the message that all incoming talent should read. I don't care if I would've lost the match, a tire iron to the head is a big deal! APW is the first fed I've ever been in that I don't care about the result of a match. Wins don't get you title shots. Being creative, getting involved, and making your character interesting does. I griped when I first got here, but luckily had some guys that sent me PMs to let me know how things are done here in APW. This has been the best experience I've ever had in a fed and it makes me want to do more to help others and the staff. The staff here is pretty forgiving for the griping if you're new, but just learn from it. Stories are a lot more fun that winning. Character development is more rewarding with people striving to do the same. Kash, you are 100% on the money.

It's always important for some of the newer talent to get feedback from the "veterans" of APW and get a general understanding of how pushes-- and, basically, attention-- are earned. What a snazzy topic...

- As many of you know, I have a problem when someone complains about not being in the "main event" or being in the "opening matches" because they honestly mean nothing. For example, TJ went from "pre-main event" to opening match. Its something petty to complain about imo. I also have a problem with doing the whole "this guy is a joke cuz he was a opener for years" type deal because you buried that guy. Its the same as Triple H saying he'll wrestle a broom and have a better match than any other guy in the back, it's a verbal burial and its uncalled for.
Now, all that said, I enjoyed the Havok segment. It explained his actions over the last year and his bit about LA, which I think would have done better at the second half saying that LA did it the right way, but it was nice to hear a heel give respect to a face who just had his number. I enjoyed the humble brag "I'm a 13 time world champion outside of APW, but that doesn't mean anything in here" and what it lead too. Overall, set up why Havok, a former mainstay, wants to stay on Meltdown. He's the gatekeeper of APW and I'm a fan of this gimmick already. Now if only you would follow the guidelines for the results. I mean, why can;t you just follow them? To me, it says you feel above the rest of the guidelines, as far as I can tell, you're the only person in the whole fed that doesn't follow the results guidelines of
[ color=blah ]Name: talk talk talk [ /color ]
If it a case of making people knowing that it's your segment, it's stupid because we can all read Havok: talk talk talk.
- Interesting segment, when I saw in the feedback that Evan was involved, it sparked that little part of me going, "NO NO NO NO NO STAY ON OVERDRIVE YOU PRETENTIOUS FOOOOOOOL!" But after reading it, I highly enjoyed that he was trying to warn his sister and all he got was, "Later, busy". I also enjoyed Robina's portion, acknowledging that she's let Sienna down but plans on making it better.
- Nice match between Hyatt/Niobe/McDonald/Andrews. Everyone looks good, I feel for Evan whose been on the wrong side of a tag team involving a no-show. This is no shot to Megan, but I just feel for the guy in that department.
- WARREN PEACE SEGMENT! Ok, sorry, for that. It was nice to see warren in a segment, I dunno if you tried that idea of writing the segment while your writing your RP or not, but I'm glad to see you got a segment in. I liked that you responded to your RP in your segment, which is what you should do to hype a match. I enjoyed Mannie interrupting him and the blind siding adds to the title match next week as well as the match for this week. Mannie is finding his spot as a weasely heel.
- Nice segment from Jules, I missed out on Meltdown last week (i'll give it a read sometime this week) but I'm interested if this leads to Guv going for his fiancee or going for sienna. I mean, Sienna's a lady of power, probably enjoys being the boss at home too.
- solid match between cid and KD, congrats to KD on the win. I'm gonna have to read last week's meltdown because apparently that match was really good.
- Nice little segment from CK and AJP: it hypes the tag title tourney going on and it furthers their RM feud which involves a meltdown title.
- OoooooOoooH shit, Havok's gonna do it! HE'S GONNA DO IT! HES GONNA PUUUUKE! Sorry, Beyond the Mat. Anyways, nice segment hyping what Havok had alluded to earlier in the night. It also builds this sense of despair on the part of the GMs since Evan warned about the board. ARe Havok and Mania in the same book?!?!?
- I'll echo JK's post about the lack of needing for this "What's with this" Plus, whether it was a joke or not, McLovin, you look like a jackass for caring about you match but when Evan asked about actual feedback, you post that picture. Anyways, I said this weeks ago, but in many more words, if you don't give to the show, you don't get anything out of it. Here's what I said on the Super Show
"You could be able to beat Terry Marvin time and time and time, but it's not gonna do you any good if you do, what I call, mercenary fedding, where you just RP and that's it. New people are put on Meltdown not to just see if you'll be active, but to see if you are gonna bring anything to the fed and the shows. "
As far as the match went, great match and everyone looked great. I'm excited to see what you four can come up with based off this. And the post match stuff with Sex and Wrestling and AJP, again sets up more of this RM angle, which really is a Meltdown angle since it involves the Tag titles.
- Ahhhh interesting segment, I know Cid is showing this more dangerous side of him, but I don't think assaulting a fan as far as he went was good. No security there and no police there, it just seemed very unreal. Like I know wrestling security is under forced, but there had to be SOMEONE there other than the boys father to stop Cid right? Like someone APW paid for that Cid could attack without legal ramifications. My bigger problem is why this started. An insider term, I guess I could believe an 18 year old is smart enough to call someone a jobber, but at the same time, I don't like the term. Call him a joke, a rookie, something along those lines, but jobber....? Eh I get it but I don't like it. All those negatives, you did what you wanted to and you made Cid looks dangerous. There needs to be a follow up off this though. NEEDS TO BE. I mean Stefan Raab was just arrested for assaulting fans after shows OFF CAMERA. This was on camera.
- Nice match between Peace and Hood, congrats to Hood on the win. I like that it wasn't a clean match, especially with a heel special ref. Next weeks main event should be great.
- Hahaha, I love the Guvnor! He's hit on three women in one night. Jules knows how to hype a match and knows how to sell an opponent without over praising them. He's set up the match very well and put importance to the match.
- OH SHIT! Mania and Jeff coming to Meltdown a couple weeks before Rasslemania, could it lead to something? Duvall ain't happy with Sienna, Sienna ain't happy with Sienna.
- Wait, Amy's a beloved Megastar? Wasn't she getting booed? She was feuding with AJP, who was a face? Wasn't she the heel against Mannie? She gets fired and all of a sudden the fans want her back? I don't get it? Why are they cheering for her? I'm looking forward to what happens next with her brother lawyer.
- Another outstanding Meltdown main event. Congrats to Guv on the win. Congrats bruv. you tell them mugs and slags and slugs. haha
- WHAT IS THIS?!? PIPEBOMB?! SOMEONE GET HAVOK A MEGAPHONE! (Your welcome) So Havok vs the NA champ at RM? Maybe dunno because he didn't say anything. He maybe facing the North American archery team! Anyways Zing comes down and beats the snot out of Havok, yet, no mention how the crowd reacts to it. which brings me tooooo
OVERALL THOUGHTS!
- Something I noticed this Metldown that I didn't before, in all the segments, the crowd isn't reacting. The crowd is watchign the backstage segments, so these interviewing segments, they should have the crowd reacting, but not just that, why are they reacting, what are they reacting to and how are they reacting.
- I thought Meltdown flowed very well, they're wasn't any issues in that department.
- A lot of things to look forward to and to build off of, I'm hoping you all got ideas flowing.

Ah, i see, but between the whole "i'm gonna end AJP's reign" it came off as heelish, then when she was working with Mannie, mannie came off sympathetic because his uncle was attacked, making Zing looks like the heel. From what I read, I always took Zing as a heel in what she did and what she said. It never came off as a face and I don't recall a positive crowd reaction, which goes back to the whole, get the crowd to react to what you're saying.
ALso, I mistyped, the crowd was reacting in the AJP/CK/KJE and Havok segments, but didn't to the others
