Match Writers: AJP, Cid Phoenix, Jules, Havoc, Me, Myself, I, AND NOT TREVOR HYATT!!!!!
Segments: Evan, Mannie, Peace, Cid, Knoxville, Roberts, Evan, Mark Mania, Who Else?
Thanks for all your hard work guys.
Now, the results may be a little lacking. I had to write or re-code 4 of the matches and fix other coding issues too. If I missed something I appologize, but let me know and I'll fix it.

I'm deeply sorry for my lack of appearance on the show. This past week was a busy week, and I bit off more than I could chew. I could have easily been a little bit of a bigger player this week, but it was nice to see some other talent get over more.
Huge congrats to Warren, who deserves that belt!

Opening Segment- a good, brief demonstration of Knoxvilles character.
Jeff/Mania enterprises-Interesting turn of events. Keeps us wondering about post Mania Meltdowns future. Intrigued.
Niobe-Hood- Kind of a fast match, which on one hand I like cause I am a slow reader but since it was billed as a final blow off type ordeal it's kind of a shame it was paced so quickly.
NBK segment was amusing. Silly french language can be so confusing.
Tag tourny match-Overall good match, fun to read. Again slow reader so keeping my interest can be difficult. The match finished how I kind of expected, although didn't expect the Yarmouth dig at the end. Funny.
Cid/Amy seg and match. Quick to the point and important win for Amy to have upon return.
Mannie/Peace Segment. helped write it. Beyond that all I have to say is it's been fun although incredibly brief working with mannie and pumping out segments like this one.
Guv/Kevin Match-Again it wasn't very long. I know some people can get mad about short matches, but I prefer things to keep pace and not get long winded. Good bout showcased both competitors and it's always fun to see your favorite wrestler win.
Sienna/Amy segment- Good segment. worked well to continue the story and meeooooow on the sleeping with mannie.
Havok/Hyatt-Too short. post promo was also short, but sold the point. the pace of this one was about the only one that felt way to quick and forced.
Sienna/Duvall/Hood/Jeff- Good banter here. Yeah, it's crazy to have made a match with Zing. Jeff shows up and pulls Duvall aside. Curious as to what they talked about. What was Evans idea?
NBK seg2- Good cheap heat.
tag tourny match 2-NBK win decently paced brawl type match.
main event- Good match, well written. Again this is the type of match I like. Good length that showcases both wrestlers, as well as fitting in interference and ref bumps and not being too long to read.
closing segment- 8 man ladder match at mania? Hell yeah. Looking forward to that. Interesting turn of events with the car being destroyed. Keeps attention and helps the build for the next show.
I know there were some complications. I know Havok would have liked to done some more. TMarv was a little upset about the writing but overall this was a good show. Kept a good pace most of the time and the segments helped carry it.
I will say thanks, I am feel privileged to have my second championship here and look forward to posting the the blue name only thread when I can.
Super pumped for the ladder match at Mania. That's gonna be a fun one.

I'll get around to this. But just dropping in to say well done to Warren Peace. You've been flourishing of late.

I had done so last night but once again congrats to Warren who deserved the win/title last night, your one hell of a talent. Btw on a sidenote I wouldn't want to be you in that ladder match sheesh lol.
P.S. to the rest of the Meltdown lockeroom you can learn alot from me, and before anyone reads this and says too their shelf "What a ego" well there isn't one. All I am saying you can learn alot from what i was able to do within a few months. I was dwindling career wise and I took some extra initiative to work on my character and really sat down to flesh it out. Sometimes if you don't know where you going, just take a bit of time to refocus and find your character(s) purpose. So to anyone who feels discouraged about not being champion yet, don't let it faze you it's not winning or the losing...It's all about the creativity and effort -The Main Attraction

I just realized I messed up (aka forgot to include) Jeff's intro in the beginning of the show. Probably not a big deal but I'll try to get that fixed today lol.

Pre-show segment. Interesting from Knoxville, I always think these pre-opening pyros segments hint towards something epic, and Knoxville is explicit about having something big in store. Watch those insider’s terms.
Show is live.
Opening segment. Glad to see the reference to the crowd not knowing why Mania is on Meltdown. Got to be honest, I haven’t got a clue what the Meltdown management has to do with him, other than the tenuous link to Sienna through Evan Envi. But we’ll wait and see what this is all about.
I see Mania tried to give some rationale to it, but it just didn’t really sell for me. Mania has been keeping an eye on Meltdown for weeks? Why only suddenly acknowledge this last week?
As the segment unfolds the reasons become clearer, but well, I’m kind of scratching my head and thinking ‘how does this work?’. If Mark Mania has purchased Meltdown, how does it remain part of the APW umbrella? Is Mark Mania now a major shareholder in APW? Wouldn’t this constitute a conflict of interest? Why is Jeff even selling a successful part of his company?
I’m guessing there are OOC reasons for this, all which will no doubt be revealed after Rasslemania when the new Overdrive GM is announced (but I think we all got an idea who it is). However, IC I think this could have been given a bit of build; it just feels a bit rushed, and the dots just don’t connect for me.
I liked President Jeff’s involvement in this, but not entirely sure of Mark Mania’s alignment here. I always thought he was face, but he comes across a bit heel here. Warning Megastars to be on their best behaviour because their jobs could be decided by him on a whim.
Interesting segment. Look forward to seeing how this pans out.
Streetfight. For some the Niobe vs Robina feud may have gone under the radar a little bit, but I’m glad these two have stuck to their guns and show some stamina with this one. It may be argued that both could have done more to hype the feud in terms of backstage presence, and I did think that, but after some thought I actually think it’s a nice change to see a feud based on a rivalry in the ring, rather than just a clash of personalities or some beef stirred up in the back. Good work guys/gals (you just never know these days!).
As for the match, I liked that they just got straight into, without a feeling out to begin with. It fits the stipulation and how violent this feud has become. It was a good match that had a good mixture of high paced-action, brawling, and the kind of spots you’d expect to see from two angry, hyped up cruiserweights. Did exactly what it said on the tin.
Roberts/Titan segment. Nothing wrong with a segment taking place in an unusual place, i.e. outside the arena. However, you guys should give it a little context. I find it a bit incredulous that Roberts and Titan would be in a bar ordering food during the live broadcast of a show on which they are wrestling. It wouldn’t taken much, you could have set up the appropriate context by amending your opening line as such
The actual content of the segment was, well, in parts it was a bit overly profane. However, I’m not averse to a bit of tag team comedy, and a touch of slapstick is not so bad every now and then.
Andrews/McDonald vs Knoxville/Gooch. Having AJP and KJE on commentary was a nice touch, and I’m glad the writer stayed true to their personalities. You’d expect professional wrestlers not to be able to convey a match in the manner of a professional commentator, so the bent towards colour commentary rather than play-by-play was well done.
Solid match, everyone got showcased which is important. Great chemistry on commentary, and the Yarmouth comment at the end was a nice send-up.
Young Mannie/Warren Peace segment. Any reason why your segments are double spaced, Mannie? Maybe it’s a tiny thing, but it’s unnecessary and takes about 20 seconds to rectify before you send it to Marv/Envi. Anyway, when there is a big title match, I prefer fisticuffs to be kept at a minimum. No problem with a confrontational seg to hype the match, but I think teasing something physicality, rather than having an all-out brawl would have been better served. However, it was good to see the stooge who put his hands on a fan get his comeuppance.
Guv vs Dahila. It’s always interesting to see how other people interpret your character in-ring. This was a solid, short match – perfect for Meltdown. It was absolutely jam-packed with action, the false finishes with finisher teases, into the surprise submission finish was excellent. Guv’nor wins, but Dahlia has a lot to take from this going into the tag match and Rasslemania, especially as it could easily have gone his way.
Sienna/Amy Zing segment. I think this one should have come earlier in the show, given that Amy had already wrestled, so Sienna’s jibe that she was still ‘technically unemployed’ wasn’t consistent. Otherwise it was a good segment, another testament at how good Evan is at writing professional wrestling segments. The match next week is a nice tease to a possible bout at Rasslemania? Maybe not, maybe two wrestlers vs authority figures on one card is too much.
Havok vs Hyatt. Well it was good while it lasted – was this a new record before flaking for Hyatt/Ingram/Caine? Usually I wouldn’t go in for the burial Havok delivered, but, yeah, it was deserved.
Post match: Havok keeps throwing out these threats, but sooner or later there is going to have to be a follow through. First rule I learnt as a teacher – give someone a boundary, and as soon as they step over it crush them for it. It’s just words otherwise.
Sienna/Duvall/Robina/Mania/Jeff segment. I’m actually feeling some sympathy here for Duvall, his whole world is falling apart. The bosses are ganging up on him, Mark Mania is throwing out passive aggressive comments, his staff can’t be relied upon. Poor guy, I’d offer him a helping hand if he wasn’t such a slag (as The Guv’nor would say). Ha!
NBK vs WE. I think the NBK promo would have been a great preface to them facing a popular team of faces and would have created a good atmosphere for the start of the match.
Main event. Marv delivers again in the ME. Well done to Warren for his win; kudos to Mannie who has done well to make the most of his momentum over the past couple of months. Given your draft you were always going to be an interim or transitional champ, which isn’t always easy, but you carried that burden well.
Agree whole-heartedly with Warren, the match had everything you’d expect with Mannie’s entourage, plenty of nail-biting false finishes, distractions, ref bumps, and a face victory in the face of great odds. Having such a good match really sold Warren as an excellent competitor and a strong champion. Best match since the Havok vs LA iron man epic.
Final segment. First of all the announcement of the NA match at Rasslemania is big. That is going to be a tough match to write. The cliffhanger was perfect, and I expect this saga will run right through until possibly the first Meltdown after Rasslemania.
Overall, another good show from the Meltdown brand. With so many matches it was a work-intensive show, so props to the staff and writers for getting all that out. Glad to see more people stepping up, although there are one or two we still need to hear the voice of.
Sorry I couldn’t get anything out this week. I had planned to write a segment with Kevin Dahlia (sorry about that dude), but other commitments took away the time. Looks like fortune has granted us another opportunity, so I will be in touch by PM. Anyway I’m not going to do any more interfed stuff for a while, it’s an unnecessary distraction right now, so Meltdown gets my full attention.
