In the midst of the chaos on Thursday night's APW Overdrive broadcast, Bobby the Bavarian Man-Bitch and Stevie the Slovakian Slobberknocker sparked a wild sequence by stealing back A.C. Smith's Xtreme Championship belt from the clutches of Michael Lively, who stole it himself several weeks ago.
Before returning the belt to its rightful owner, though, the pair was confronted by Buckson Gooch, who destroyed the duo and threw the belt down before exiting as Smith arrived on the scene.
Security and paramedics were on the scene, but the only person the Big Apple Asskicker would talk to was APW interviewer Shane West, who said he would carry a message to Gooch.
A.C.: “Gooch, you stuck your nose where it didn’t belong. AGAIN. I don’t know what I have to do to teach you and Lively that I’m sick of your meddling where you don’t have any right to be.
Oh wait, yes I do. There’s that little pay-per-view extravaganza called Rasslemania IX coming up. That helps. That night, at the biggest show in the wrestling world, I’m putting this Xtreme Championship on the line against BOTH of you in a three-way match.
You guys started this. At Rasslemania, though? I’M going to finish it.”
Late Thursday night, it became official. A.C. Smith will, in fact, defend the APW Xtreme Championship against Buckson Gooch and Michael Lively at Rasslemania IX.
