Hi everybody! The show's posted and ready to read. Thanks for match writing go to AJP, Callahan, and especially Kash, who took three matches this week. As for segs, Callahan, TJ, Reaver, AJP, Logan Alexander, Jair Hopkins, KJE, Kash, Borderland, President Jeff, Raab, and Keaton Saint all get hearty pats on the back. If I missed anyone, please respond below, but also, please give feedback! Also, in regards to the PPV rundown portion, the reason why only a few Overdrive Matches were included is because those were the only match cards ready at the time of posting. Feel free to discuss away, folks!

Some feedback sure would be swell! In this day and age of instant gratification, three hours sure is a long time to wait for something!

I love it how regardless of the match written, you make the proper changes to make it fit everything better. Not too many people do that but because you have all the segments and have a vision of what would work, you do it and do it very well. So I thank you in return for having this show and every show improve each new card. I'll do a review on the show later but real quick, congrats to Keaton Saint on becoming World Champion. Sucks Atken couldn't put in but Saint is so deserving of the honor and it's good to see it. Not too many times a World Title changes before the biggest PPV of the year and yet this makes since still and fits. I can't wait to get the chance to work with him down the road.

I haven't gotten to read the full show, but I'm impressed at how diverse Asylum is; I'd forgotten that there's been such a transition in terms of who's in the ME, or really even on the show. That's one thing I do envy about Asylum. Very much surprised at the ending of the show, and congrats to Saint! I really liked the match recaps for RM at the end; guess I don't have a match at RM because I don't have one though. If my career hasn't ended before RM, might be worth taking a few trips on over to Asylum! Great show guys!

Well first, going into this show I felt a sense of urgency because I knew Bailey had the chance to become a Grand Slam Champion here. Being that the other Grand Slam in APW went to Overdrive, I have almost wanted it to be achieved by another on APW. He's close to doing that. So I was peaked in interest right away.
What the heck is I wanted to both laugh and tilt my head in question here. Biggs is so funny!
Callahan's opening segment is filled to the brim with intelligence and wit. Yet when I read his words I hear an accent. The only guy in real wrestling who throws out words like that in Sandow and I just get a oversell on the "smart and educated" that to me (and maybe I'm just too dumb) ruins some of the entertainment value. I am however intrigued with his headaches and where this could lead. Possibly a World Championship?
Reginald stepping up as a BOSS these days, showing who's Boss and pushing back. Love that shit, The Warden has arrived. (He should take the nickname because I'ma keep calling him that regardless).
What a dick! haha. TJ and Reaver is proving to be an interesting feud and it's clearly planned and executed at the right moments so hold both their heads up for this because it could really be the thing to watch going into RassleMania. (Love that Kash was mentioned so much, just lovely!)
Farq...I mean The Gov'nor had suggested this theme song a while back. He did it for laughs but I remembered and had got him to send me the video again. The whole "Kash is off his rocker" is kind of merging into something new so I wanted a reason to remove his current theme song and this gave me that reason. (Expect new Theme next event)
Making the theme change into a punishment made sense seeing that Kash/I've been involved with so many things to cause "punishment" being OOC or in character. Assaulting Borderland before ONIH, the Chris Hart thing, and then the Knuckles chair shot thing. Figured Kash being punished was better fitted in humility and it works at least for me. I liked the setup and hope others do as well.
I also hope the match was good. I wanted to show the size difference and am a fan of writing for Big Characters for that reason. So of course there was a launching spot and I think TJ as a character would have taken that and ran with it so I thought it worked. The ending was written completely different but Biggs being the STUDMUFFIN he is made the ending much more fitting to the situation. Made the match completely new to me and I was able to enjoy it like I hadn't written it to begin with which is cool!
Whoa this could have went Porn Scene REALLY fast! Hehe! I think Hopkins is a bright fucking talent. He's just cool as hell and a good dude so I think him getting involved more is just spectacular! AJP has a way of blending with anyone and fitting the need to make it entertaining and that's what I love about the characters here. They work because it merges together so well.
Mannie beats Atken and then gets G.I? Mannie is getting pretty good and people aren't seeing it as it should be noticed. I would hate for it to go to his head but the dude is growing before our eyes and I cannot wait to square off with him again because I'll actually learn and gain something from it this next time around. Good win though.
Did anyone notice the reference I used in my Kash/Reginald segment? I tried to go with a Sheldon from Big Bang Theory knocking vibe but still kept it different enough. I have been wanting to see Reginald's Boss side, his "Warden" side if you will and I'm glad my segment isn't the only time it's seen on this show.
I am jealous of Saint's font color now. I thought I had the coolest green and here he is fucking a segment up like it stole something. This guy is entertaining any which way you look at it. He might not max out every show but when he does and if he did every show, we'd not see a new Champion for a long time period. I want to work with this guy and now that he's world champion, I'd almost say fuck a Double Grand just to get the chance to run an angle with him.
Okay I know I said I was kind of hoping Bailey would become Grand Slam. However when reading this match, the close calls, the back and fourths. I kind of went back and fourth myself on who I wanted to win. I'm glad AJP defended her Bedazzled Suicidal Belt and would have been okay with Bailey winning it as well but when KJE and Kane came and got involved? I was wanting Kash to hug her backstage and thank the both of them for preventing it. I was edge of my seat on this match and that is awesome getting that feeling for a eWrestling Match. Imagination has to show the match and it played like anything real I've watched on TV.
I'll be honest, this Tag Match was only my 2nd Tag Match I've ever written. I was both nervous and happy to write it and while I feel good about how it got done, I know I'm not the best writer out there and can use some big improvements. I try to run a match through my head, see the whole environment and sometimes I skip over smaller details when trying to keep a story going. Hopefully this was alright. I thought the finishes I wrote were cool though, Hopkins leap frogging Logan to stop Kane from breaking the submission. Sick, fuck you if you feel otherwise, Hopkins has HOPS!
M&M and The Dying Breed are getting Heated. Hopkins seems to be taking it the worst. He's angry and wanting blood after tonight, no doubt about it!
Jeff and Raabies. I remember last year when Havok and Jeff got down. I had wanted to finish things with Havok because I was feuding with him before they started their thing but the match worked out and entertained. I think this has been given the right amount of promotion and has made people want to see this match. If for no other reason, we get once a year to see Jeff rp? Come on, that's fucking exciting!
Borderland and Reaver. I wanted to write this match from the moment I seen it on the card. I know both of them and have been friends with both for a long time now. I hope I did the match justice, if it had been a PPV I'd have broke out some big spots but I wanted to just tease the potential for this feud. I think bad blood could quickly form in character from these characters and would love to see a real feud go down. I think Borderland could benefit from doing more segments but time constraints get some of us so it's cool.
I think my problem here like with the TJ/Kash match is that I put too much into a summarized match. Haha. I noticed alot of the Match and commentary for the Borderland/Reaver was rewritten and probably for the best because I tend to overlook what needs to be said sometimes to further promote things. I had a good spot though where Reaver is pants and Nailz uses the line "No Mas Pantalones" and it's gone and I feel shamed...Haha! Still the match fits to what was needed and I have no complaints, I know my writing needs a second pair of eyes and I'm glad Biggs was there to fix things up.
TJ and Reaver taking over promotion of their match. It's by far the most promoted match on Asylum going into RassleMania and it should be a stellar bout if these segments and their build has anything to say about it.
I wanted Borderland to have a part and because he wasn't really involved with the process and I knew how to use him due to our time Tag Teaming I hit him up with this segment idea and he loved it. I think it sells what needs to be sold and gives people a window into the rivalry of friends. I've had a few in the last year...
TJ gets jumped early in the show, Saint comes down to help. Saint gets BRUTALIZED with a BAT to end the show and no TJ? Poor Phil Atken got 'UCKED UP! Michael Callahan is NOT the same guy I competed against but by golly he'd make for some good violent natured fights now!

Feedback shouldn't be a competition! A sad trend I've noticed... once a full feedback post is made, other people avoid making long feedback posts as well. I personally like seeing what people feel about the entire show since sometimes it encourages me to go back and look at things from other peoples' feuds that I missed, and allows me to get several peoples' insight on programs I'm involved in.
With that said, I'm going to try to leave a full feedback post later tonight.

I don't feedback a lot. And in my feedback for the show it's always mostly filled with opinions so unless you share the very opinion of the next man then you'd have something new and different to say about it. I should probably spread out more to other APW shows but I'm Asylum Blooded and that I shall stay!

Honesty ajp that's why I kinda stopped giving feedback because I felt my feedback out people off or took what they're going to say.
That said, fuck y'all I'm back as soon as I stop eating dinner.
Also, kash the reason why TJ didn't come down is cuz he got the beejesus kicked out of him by reaver.

AJP is right, this isn't competitive. There is no reason why EVERYONE can't leave some sort of comment about their brand EVERY WEEK.
Nobody is expected to write pages and pages, it's just that when some of us do feedback it comes out that way. However, EVERYONE should leave at least a short paragraph even if its just to summarise or highlight what they liked.
tl;dr If you read the results for YOUR brand's show, you OUGHT TO BE LEAVING FEEDBACK!
Anything outside that just makes you a Helpful Henry.

- Fantastic opening segment, I will say, I was hoping this was gonna lead to more segments of the ilk of TJ/Reaver short check in segments on Callahan getting checked on. But I loved the interaction between Regi and Callahan, especially the last line about Regi flirting with Bambi sending Callahan to the doctors more times than he wanted.
- Little interview by me, wanted to 1) incorporate the charity event since both of us were there and 2) further along the idea that Reaver doesn;t feel pain like others. The amount of Kash references were to make up the fact that I didn't have much to say about Kash, because I know we're gonna have to face off in the future, rather not use some of that stuff for a better contest against Mr. Asylum.
- Helluva match, Kash, great spots and I loved that you incorporated TJ's personality into the match. Allowing Kash one more try, happy with teh distance. Great match. The ending was unexpected, but cool to have the win. The post match was great. I know Saint was hoping to work with Kash after RM and you've got the set up.
- I loved the AJP/J-Hop segment, I'm hoping this leads to AJP vs J-hop for the suicidal title. I love the J-Hop character, I've seen so many "from the hood" characters, and really, only two or three of them have been done different from the generic original and J-Hop is one of them. AJP is another character I love, she's like, that girl in high school that you know is a bitch, but goes about her bitchyness in such a way that you almost respect it. Also, "I REGRET NOTHING" makes me think of the simpsons.
- Young Mannie is on a roll, even though he lost the NA title, he's got a win over the (former) world champion and now GI. Hopefully after RM he's finds himself a nice program to bring out the mannie character more.
- First time reading, didn't notice Reaver and Kash before Kash talking to Regi. I wonder, if Biggs ever leaves us (IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN), whoever takes over takes over as The Warden of Asylum rather than GM. ANyways, nice little segment, KAsh is taking another step with his character a step that seems old, but still will be nice to see.
- YES! FINALLY! AFTER 5 MONTHS WE HAVE A SOLO SAINT SEGMENT! I've always waited for one, it's been too long and this is why I was so looking forward to work with Saint. Great segment from Saint that hypes the title match
- Good lord, fantastic match between AJP and Bailey, putting the work these two do on a weekly basis into a match. So many near falls put me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the commentary in the match, there was alot of action in the match and the commentary helped the match flow perfectly. Sex and the Kitty (New name for CKKJE?) made their presence at the right time of the match, DAMN IT YOU LEAVE THE CHOCOLATE MAN ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Great match from Kash, Kash has very creative spots in all of his matches, every spot is unique. Congrats to Jair and LA, this tag title program has turned into a very interesting one.
- Especially following what happened after the match with the partners from the last match getting physical. I don't wanna sound like an ass, but J-Hop is carrying this feud, maybe it's just the lead in show making it seem like that, but J-Hop is playing a major part in this and almost outstarring everyone.
- Raab and Jeff last time before RM, and it was a great segment, although it had the Raab flavor to it. Raab, it goes with your RPs, you're explaining why Raab is doing something, which takes away what you're gonna say after. Like when you said "He is clapping because he knows that he finally had the guts to trash talk him down" which you then say again through Raab. If you leave out that first explanation, you tell the reader why you're clapping.
That aside, the back and forth was great. The Jeff vs Raab match isn't high profile, but I don't think it needs to be. Its a guy who has pride in his product fighting a guy who has bad mouth him and his product at every chance. It doesn't need a higher profile than that.
- The third match from Kash and this one, it shows how much he knows these two characters. Great match, I loved the ending, especially with the lead in with Reaver leaving TJ in the room
- AND IT BECOMES A TRIPLE THREAT TAG MATCH! I loved LA's conflicted nature with his spearing of J-Hop and AJP trying to tell him it was needed. I loved Sex and the Kitty
- I felt the need to have TJ look like he just got his ass kicked. When I was facing Jules, I wish I had more of an "image" of TJ getting beat up. It was also his ankle and that's in a boot all the time, you can't hide a facial cut or black eye. That and good program has the chaser looking good as well and really up to that point the best Reaver did was interfere in TJs matches. Plus i felt that the whole checking in type thing built to this single segment better.
- I liked the placement of the Kash borderland segment, right after the Reaver one, it makes logical sense. And I loved Borderland's speaking part. I'm excited to see these two go at it.
- Congrats Keaton, one of the best APW has to offer, finally gets some tangible recognition. I've been following Keaton's RPs lately, and I'm excited to see how this plays into him. It sucks that Phil's been too sick to RP, but you snooze you lose.
- I love Crazy Callahan, it means we're one step closer to my soon to be favorite version of Callahan. I'm excited for RM nad the triple threat between these two.
All in all, Asylum is bringing it Overdrive. Rasslemania is gonna one helluva event and we got some good matches on the Asylum side. I'm excited and the sooner the cards gets posted the sooner we get the RM juices going!

I've been so inconsistent these past few months but my boy has stepped up when he needed to and I'm so grateful for that. Reliable partners are hard to come by in this game.

Off-note: Kash had me twice really, the last one was extreme luck. I haven't put 13' in a minute since getting MLB 13 The Show. PSN - Food4Thoughtz ---------------------------------------------------------
*clears throat*
First off, much props to Bailey, WDW, AJP and Logan because this feud has been awesome. While I appreciate the comments, I couldn't have done those segments this week without her and LA's approval and edits. It's a joint effort overall as Bailey and WDW handle the segments but I had some ideas for spots for this week and it came out well. To see all of this happen, it's amazing and the stars are aligned for everyone going into Rasslemania IX. I haven't yet got through the whole show, close to the end. I also know I rarely give feedback, IDK why, but I'll start doing it more.
Much props to Keaton Saint. I remember our time in Premier WC fed, his work, astonishing and still to this day, he's doing it big. He reminds me of this dude Chris Champion in one of my old feds I first began in. Clutch, consistent, and downright challenging. I hope in the future we get to go at it one more time, haha. I know we did tag team, but no singles.
More props go to Mannie, dude has been on a roll and doesn't look like he's going to stop anytime soon. "He can't stop, because he don't know how to stop" ~~ I know, it's a 'Diddy' line but it works, Mannie is doing big things and he's rising up like the tide. Beating two top names, Atkens and then the sidekick to Callahan. Two thumbs up!
Kash-man, you are insanely clutch. In-ring, backstage, ring crew set-up, etc. You put in work on that tag match man, all flowed together. I know you don't write them all the time, but you did well with making the match plus the SL flow in from beginning to ending. Hopkins got HOPS, dope. He got those hops from 'Uncle Drew', lol.
I have to get through the rest of this show and I promise I will post more feedback on shows and stop being a 'sideline watcher'.
I do wish APW had On-Demand for Overdrive and the new crop over at Meltdown. I'm missing out on a lot.

I thought about doing something like that once I'm done school, I'll hopefully have enough time to do like a Afterburn type show that recaps everything in the week, like highlights/MEs/MOTN, some segments and recaping some stuff with a generic show guy. Its something I've done a couple times for different feds. I'd have to talk to a person or two to help me out on that though.

wats already been said is exactly how i feel. asylum IS the premier brand and the hard work we all put in it shows the proof. TJ and i just really hoped to making this as great a feud as any (possible FOTY?) and with the final changes i wanted to make it was only fitting that me and TJ go at it. this was months in the making and all 90% credit should totally go to TJ for his ideas. its like he knows wat i want without saying a word. well done sir. i really think mannie is kinda getting hosed. guy has put in some serious effort and hard work and totally deserves his shot. he earned it. i too was hoping that Bailey would have made that grandslam club but AJP managed to pull out the win. not saying she is a slouch not by ANY means. im excited to see this tag title match at RM. grats to Saint. im just curious if phil is ok. it seems as if he completely disappeared. hopefully i can catch him on aim. all in all this show is the prime example y Asylum is the best brand everything leads into RM and i cant wait

Mad props to everyone making Asylum pop...J-Hop is doing the damn thing..you have been coming up with some great stuff...I am just happy to be on same team with you. AJP is and has always been one of my favorites...whether she is making me drive with one arm or pushing me out of rings!! Mannie is kicking ass...and it looks like I am next? I am looking forward to the Reaver/TJ story line to see how it plays out. I have a case of Chocolate Wasted for Kane and KJE...besides...THE SMOOTH ONE IS THE SEXIEST MAN IN APW..Dig it!!

I always thought that the "going home" shows for Asylum never really measured up to the Overdrive ones but this was probably the best going home show I have seen in awhile. The matches were great obviously (Thanks for putting me over AJP :-)) but the segments and feud build up to Rasslemania was what defined this show in my opinion. Everybody pulled their weight to make this night one to remember. Good job everybody!
