The police station... Unless you're an officer of the law, this is the last place that you want to be. A quiet night for the local P.D. quickly turns south, as a call comes in. A beautiful young woman from the local area, has been brutally murdered. However, nothing about this murder seems normal...

Agent Price
Come on, Konn... We've got some work to do.

Agent Konn stands from his desk, looking at his superior for more Intel.

Agent Price
South and Manhattan. Victim is 23, female, a waitress at a local diner. Looks like she had found her way out of a burning building, and collapsed from smoke inhalation. BUT, no fires were reported.

Agent Konn
Great. Probably another psychopath stalker, got to love these cases.

Agent Price
Show some compassion, Konn. An officer of the law should never think of a murder case as an inconvenience. This is a chance for justice. So grab your piece, put in a tampon, and let's get the hell out of here.

Earlier that day...

The streets of San Francisco always seem to be packed with mass amounts of people. But in the alleyway across from City Nails, you'd never think the impossible could actually become possible. A beautiful woman, young and full of energy, stands at the front of the alleyway with a cigarette in her hand. Unbeknownst to her, 2 very powerful demons stand at the end of the alleyway, plotting a way to extract revenge on the most powerful of demons.

Barbus
It's simple, Nordis. Shapeshifters have the most sought after gift in all of the Underworld. You, my friend... Are going to make this all possible.

Nordis
You've had your plans in the past, Barbus. Plans that looked and seemed to be rock-solid. Nothing could have ever went wrong! What makes you think that something wont go wrong this time? I mean, your track record...

Barbus
Every time I have failed, I have managed to come back to try again! Trial and error, Nordis! It's the only way you can get something right! It's full-proof! You pose as Nathaniel, kill an innocent witch in broad daylight, and Nathaniel gets framed for her murder. While he's attempting to shake the case, distracted and singled-out as a murderer, he'll lose everything! The faith of the Underworld, his career, he'll lose it all! And then... Then we move in for the kill! Now stop wasting time, and get it done.

Nordis thinks about it for a moment, before Shapeshifting into Nathaniel Havok. Now looking just like the APW Megastar, Nordis shimmers out of sight, reappearing right in front of the young lady. Startled, the young lady faints, landing at the feet of Nordis, who rolls his eyes.

Nordis
This is just WAY too easy.

Off in the distance, a young boy notices Nordis. Since Nordis looks just like Nathaniel Havok, the young boy thinks he is looking directly at the APW Megastar.

Boy
MOM, LOOK! IT'S NATHANIEL HAVOK!

The boy comes sprinting down the street in an attempt to reach his wrestling idol. Quickly, Nordis throws a fireball, hitting the girl and killing her on the spot. He then darts down the alleyway, shimmering out of sight, as so does Barbus. The young boy makes his way to the alley, realizing that his idol isn't there. Instead, his young eyes are forever scared, as he looks down to see the dead body of a 23 year old female. The young boys mother quickly runs up behind him, stopping dead in her tracks as she sees the female corpse on the ground. Covering her young boys eyes, she begins to scream.

Mom
SOMEBODY CALL 911! PLEASE! SOMEBODY!

The next day...

Cameraman
Are you ready, Dick?

APW Headquarters... The last place you'd expect Nathaniel Havok to be, after the grueling eight-man Dick Harris nods his head, signaling that he's ready to begin.

Cameraman
Havok, you ready?

Nathaniel Havok nods his head as well, signaling the cameraman to begin his countdown.

Hey there, ladies and gents! This is Dick Harris here to bring you an APW online exclusive with the one... The only... Enforcer of Sorrow, Nathaniel Havok! Nathaniel, APW.com broke the news yesterday, that you'll be leaving the Meltdown brand. It seems as if you've accepted an invitation to go back to Overdrive, after spending months as the Gatekeeper of Meltdown. What brought you to the decision to make the move, and what should we expect to see from you on Thursday nights?

Nathaniel Havok
It was a very easy decision for me to make, Dick. I have a lot of unfinished business on Overdrive. Business that I was unable to take care of, before Hurricane Jeff THOUGHT he ended my APW career. So the decision wasn't hard for me to make, and I think that the fans are in for a very nice surprise.

Dick Harris
Speaking of President Jeff, did you have any contact with him during this process? I mean, you HAD to have talked to someone. Was it Jeff?

Nathaniel Havok
No, it wasn't Jeff. Truth be told, Jeff knew I wouldn't answer if he called my phone. He had a road agent call me, and I understand why. As a businessman, I would have done the same thing.

Dick Harris
Defending the boss? That's something I NEVER thought that I would hear from you, Nathaniel!

Nathaniel Havok
Don't dwell on it, please. As much as it pains me to stick up for the jackass, I'll do it when it's right. Moving Nathaniel Havok back to Overdrive is a business decision... A SMART business decision. And in all honesty, it was a smart business decision for both sides! While Jeff has a lot to gain by having Nathaniel Havok back on Overdrive, Nathaniel Havok also benefits from it as well. Which, you'll begin to see how on Thursday night.

Dick Harris
Thursday night? You're not even booked on the show! What have you got planned?

Nathaniel Havok
You'll see. I guess you're just going to have to wait and find out, like the rest of the world. But we have to look ahead to Meltdown, before we even start thinking about Overdrive! Lots of fallout from RassleMania, you know?

Dick Harris
Stop doing my job, and stick to wrestling! Meltdown WAS my next question, kind sir. You're going to be at the commentary table during the number one contenders match. With all the history you have with the new APW North American Champion, how do you think this is going to go down?

The door to "Studio B" at APW Headquarters swings open. A receptionist stands in the doorway, regretful of her actions in disrupting the online special. However, behind her stand 2 police officers, both with their hands on their pistols.

Mr. Harris, Mr. Havok, I'm sorry but, they insisted on seeing you.

Nathaniel Havok
What... What's this all about?

Officer 1
Mr. Jacobs, could you tell us your whereabouts last night, around 18:00 hours?

Nathaniel Havok
I was... I was in Indiana. I was at home.

Officer 1
Is there anyone who can confirm this?

Nathaniel Havok
I'm... I'm not sure. A housekeeper, a dog, and maybe my neighbors? But what in the hell is this all about?

Officer 2
We're investigating a murder. The murder of one, Annie Cecil, and you're the prime suspect. Several witnesses place you in San Francisco, California at the time of the murder. Right beside the body, might I add. Care to change your story?
