The scene opens up from New York City, New York. We now join “The Main Attraction” Young Mannie who is about to go live on air with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club.
The Breakfast Club Is a radio show hosted by DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and the always “Brash & Blunt” Charlamagne Tha God. Mannie is actually there today to do some press, for not only himself but APW as well. So this should be good one considering how well things have gone for Mannie, it should be nice to hear what the future holds from “The Main Attraction” himself.
“Yo if you’re just tuning in right now…Don’t worry people you haven’t missed anything yet, as a matter of fact we are just getting started. So with being said we are definitely live & kicking it in The Breakfast Club, it’s your boy DJ Envy and as always I am with Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God. Today’s show is going be special, we have a first time guest actually. Now I will tell actually you why this guest is special, I know normally we have rappers, singers, ballers, pretty much the whole entertainment enchilada but today however is different. Now let’s get to it, this guest right here you might have seen him on your Televisions, phones, tablets, I mean this guy is everywhere possible. He’s known for crazy athleticism, movie star good looks.”
“Hold up…Pause! Did you just say ole boy had movie star good looks?”
“Chill out Charlamagne I was just reading what they gave me on intro.”
“You know I actually agree, he is easy on the eyes.”
“Timeout! I mean agreeing with the statement is one thing, but now you’re flirting with slim? Come on Yee!”
“No Charlamagne I wasn’t flirting with him, but I am agreeing that he is handsome.”
“Okay, okay we agree he is handsome people. Now can we continue?”
“Yeah go right ahead Envy with your waffle-headed looking ass.”
“Shut up!”
“Look let me do it, I will finish it. This guest is one of Pro Wrestling’s rising talents and is already making a name for himself outside of the square circle. If you can’t or haven’t done so already, I advise you check out this individual. You can catch him every other Sunday on the Food Network, wow really? But you catch him right there in the evenings spazzing out on other wrestlers. But if you still can’t find him then trust me when I say he will be on your radar soon enough, Now people!…Welcome “The Main Attraction” Young Mannie!”
“Yeah…What’s up!”
“You tell us “Main Attraction”? You’re the one who is eating right now.”
“Nah C man, I’m just chilling.”
“Chilling? Nah Mannie, So your going to come on my show and tell a bold face lie?”
“What?”
“Brah you wrestle for APW! That sh*t airs in the North Pole, so I know damn well your getting money.”
Mannie chuckles a bit while responding.
“Well you can say that…”
“Your damn right I am, plus didn’t you just land a deal with ADIDAS?”
“Yeah I did.”
“Exactly! Don’t try that sh*t with me Mannie I know when I’m around money, and you got money brah. So let me hold a $100, I know you got it.”
“Now Charlamagne you can’t ask that man that?”
“Nah I’m just saying, he is doing well. So I’m just trying B.I.T.E too.”
Mannie now lets out a full laugh
“Go head C but I can feel you though.”
“Go head nothing, I know your rich ass is holding some stacks. Look who you came in with, the dude standing behind the glass is “Suited & Booted” so I know he got money. So as a matter of fact who is that?”
“That’s your Uncle right?”
“Yeah that’s my Uncle Charlie, he is actually my manager as well. He handles my day to day operations for me.”
“Day to day operations? Man I should slap you, You just said that you have day to day operations…How dare you deny me $100 dollars?”
“You’re a fool brah.”
“Sorry about that Mannie, but that’s interesting so he is your Manager & Uncle?”
“Yeah he’s both.”
“Hmm are you sure that’s the best move? I mean mixing business and family can get messy, I’m talking Lindsey Lohan messy.”
“Nah it’s not like that, here is the thing my Uncle has pretty much raised me for most of my life. So I mean at the end of the day I trust his judgment.”
“Respect Mannie, so speaking of your business…Let’s get into it shall we?”
“Let’s do it!”
“Alright here we go, So Mannie I’ve watched you. I mean for real dude I’m a fan. Like when I say fan dude, I mean that. Listen brah I’ve been rocking with you since them Red Shield days, and just to let you know how serious I am…”
DJ Envy goes behind the desk and pulls out an old RSM t-shirt, Mannie make an facial expressions which reads that seems to show embarrassement by his past but nods a little to insinuate that he’s okay with it.
“Wow that’s crazy…I don’t think I even have one of these anymore.”
“Really…You can keep it if you want?”
Mannie stares at it for a bit but he knows taking would somehow acknowledge that he can’t let go of the past, so instead of taking he hands it back over.
“Nah I’m good Envy but actual I bought yall some gifts.”
“Gifts?”
Charlamagne gets up from seat and over dramatizes what he has just heard, Mannie can’t help but laugh as he pulls out a bag. The bag contains 3 #TheMAEra t-shirts, 1 is pink for Angela, and the others purple. Mannie passes them out to DJ Envy & Charlamagne who accept the shirts and puts them into their bags under the desk, while Angela Yee take her shirt but also takes the chance to chimes back into the conversation.
“So Mannie!”
“Yes?”
“I heard that you’re going to be shooting for GQ tomorrow?”
“Seriously? How did you know that?”
“I’m telling you brah, she always got the lock on finding things out.”
“I see but yeah that’s true I will be shooting for GQ.”
“So alright cool, so Mannie I want you to tell me if this next thing is true or not?”
“Shoot.”
“I’ve also heard that it’s going to be special an “Eye Candy Edition” for the Ladies?”
“Haha! Yeah!”
“Okay I ain’t mad at that, Am I right ladies?”
“Hold up brah, you got into GQ?”
“Yeah”
Mannie laughs as Charlamagne throws his up
“I’m though with the guy. Seriously like aren’t you a rookie? Who gets an endorsement deal with a top brand and GQ in the same year?”
“Well actually I am only 22 years old but I’ve been wrestling for the last 7 years, which makes me a kind of an early veteran already.”
“I can respect that brah, I mean honestly to do what you do as a wrestler I know it must feel good accomplishing these things.”
“Yeah of course C, umm for me I feel as though anytime I can give back to the profession that has given so much more to me than I will.”
“Well Mannie I can relate to that, I love to give back when I can as well. Wait a second, I was just told that we have a caller waiting on the line. Hello?”
“Am I live? Can you hear me?”
“Yes you’re live with The Breakfast Club and “The Main Attraction” Young Mannie.”
“MANNIE! This ya boy Jason Kash! Quit feeding these fine radio hosts your crap. You know your "celebrity" is about as shinning as your wrestling career has been. You sit and try to put on a smile, pretend to be someone you're NOT and think people are stupid enough to not notice? Get over yourself punk, I'll Fu*BEEP* you up on sight and you know that.”
“Hello Caller? Did we lose him? Hold on…Oh okay yeah we cut him, I’m sorry about that Mannie.”
“It’s cool…Haters are always welcomed.”
“I don’t about you but whoever that was had gotten all into your Sh*t!”
“Look I know who it was and honestly I don’t care because I’m eating. You feel me?”
“I can dig that, so how that $100 now.”
Mannie shakes his head as DJ Envy gets things back on track.
“So Mannie let’s back on topic shall we?
“Okay.”
“So on top of the being a pro wrestler, endorsement deals, photo shoots, and even doing acting. I just have to know something?”
“Sure go head.”
“How do you find time to do of all that?”
“Well it’s all about balance, you have to be willing to manage your time in a productive manner. Seriously though if you do it the right way, you will be success in more areas. So for me it’s not only about time management but it’s thanks to my Uncle Charlie, because he takes good care of all my affairs. So when I say that he’s my manager I wasn’t joking."
“Alright so Mannie going back to your normal 9-5 or however many hours you do in the ring, now there are some things about that I would like to go into right now is that cool?”
“Okay so as I had said earlier Mannie I am a big fan, now I think you’re a bit underrated I will get into that a bit later on. So here are the first related questions…”
“Alright.”
“So not too long ago Mannie you were drafted to Asylum and were left off the main card of RassleMania 9 correct?”
“That’s correct.”
“So after being denied as I personally feel a well deserved spot on the main card & having to start fresh on a new show, I want to ask these questions. How does it feel & Where will you go from here?”
“Okay well to answer the first question…I was pissed but instead of bitching about it, I just got through it like the true champ that I am and got over it. I was able even vent my frustration on a former friend who could’ve easily walked away but his ego is what got his A** whopped.”
“That he did.”
DJ Envy chuckles as he continues
“Oh and your answer the second question?”
“Oh yeah well that’s easy Envy, I’m going to right to the top of the mountain like it’s supposed to be.”
“Well that brings me to my next question actually.”
“Sure tell me what it is.”
“So tell me how can you rise to the top when there is a 6’11 275 pound Monster in the way
“That’s easy because I have a 6’11 325 pound beast on my side who says different.”
“Oh okay I respect that and I hope you weren’t offended?”
“Nah I’m cool but all in all I ain’t got no worries!”
“Confidence I like that in a man, So many I also have a wrestling related question as well.”
“Sure Angela feel free to ask me.”
“Well okay so Mannie I see that your confident your abilities right?”
“Of course I am! I mean come on Yee, I’m not going around and being called “The Main Attraction” just because it sounds good. This is what I do!”
“Okay so my real question is how confident are you going into Asylum this next Sunday, because you have a big match against the former World Heavyweight champion Keaton Saint.”
“Yes I do.”
“So what I’m really trying to say is Mannie. Are you really ready for a match again Keaton Saint?”
“Am I ready? Well I would love to answer that question but I won’t today, it’s nothing against yall or anything. It just that I want the match to speak for itself, I want everybody to watch exactly how I handle the pressure. See it's what its really about is that I’ve already proven time after time how good I truly am and can be, so to answer that would insult me. So sorry Yee.”
“Well it’s okay it wasn’t required to answer but okay its been noted.”
“So Mannie I guess I will be the last one to ask you something.”
“Okay Charlamagne go right ahead.”
“Okay my question is…Can I have that $100 dollars now?”
Charlamagne extends his palm out as Mannie with a carefree attitude just shrugs in reply.
“Well with that being said, I believe we’re done with questions. So before we go off the air Mannie would you like to say anything else?”
“Too all my supporters & even the haters I just would like to say thank you, and oh yeah don’t forget to pick up all ADIDAS merchandise & other related accessories at your local retailers and online."
“Well there you have it…I’m DJ Envy.”
“I’m Charlamagne “I still want that $100 bucks” Tha God.”
“I’m Angela Yee, and he’s “The Main Attraction” Young Mannie.”

“It’s The Breakfast Club 105.”
The scene fades as Mannie daps up & hugs the host on his way out the station. Mannie is seen getting his waiting tour bus, now as too his next route? Now wouldn’t you like to know.
