The scene opens inside the familiar, dimly-lit warehouse where we find our friend Clark the Smark waking up from another “nap” as Mysti enters the room.
“Good morning, Clark.”
Clark groggily stares at Mysti, who holds a canvas bag and a pair of handcuffs as she approaches him.
“It’s time to welcome you into the family.”
She puts the bag on over Clark’s head, quickly replacing the rope bindings he’s been in with the handcuffs. Clark finally starts to move enough to put up a fight, but by then he is already shoved out of the warehouse. Outside, we see Legion and a few of his followers, their heads bowed in silence as Legion grabs Clark.
“Hello, Clark. We have so many things planned for you today. Great things, wonderful things.”
Legion smiles as a pickup truck pulls up. One of the followers opens the tailgate door, allowing Legion to shove Clark onto the bed of the truck. The follower closes the tailgate, and they quickly get into the truck. They pull away, as the scene fades to black.
It seems I just can’t get past the “great” Dan White, can I? For the third show in a row, I’m set to face the so-called “Welsh Dragon,” and frankly I’m okay with that. Why, you may ask? Because I’m fairly convinced I have what it takes to beat Dan White, and with the added bonus of an Xtreme Championship shot on the line, I now have all the more reason to finally shut that drunken idiot up.
Yes, Dan, I’m still on your case over not arriving to the show a few weeks back because of your little escapade. Seems only fair that I use that bit of ammo against you, since you continue to swear up and down that you have my number come Overdrive. Oh, that’s right…you haven’t made a peep since Rasslemania. I think it’s because you’re afraid, Danny boy. The last time we met in the ring, you got pinned by Delikado…and you know for a fact that he’s not in the picture this week, because he’s got himself a nice little World title shot lined up. No, this week you and I face one on one…and you know that spells bad news for you come Overdrive. Once you and I are in that ring, with an Xtreme Championship shot on the line, I will make an example out of you.
Everyone’s been on my case about losing every match I’ve been in since I’ve started in APW…but isn’t that your problem, as well? I don’t think I’ve seen very much promise from you either, Danny boy. I’m fairly certain this match means about as much to you as it does to me, because after this Thursday one of us will finally have a win under our belt in APW. There is a major difference between us, Dan…I’ve been to the promised land before, I’ve won accolades of all shapes and sizes. This Thursday, in front of thousands of fans in Panama City and millions of fans watching from around the world, I will finally shove your words down your throat and take what’s rightfully mine: a notch in the win column, and a shot at the Xtreme Championship.
