Finally!! Our savior has come to join us in out effort to restore order to the mediocrity that is currently Asylum. Years have been spent fighting to keep the anarchy on the high end of the priority list where it once was. For too long have there been false idol after false idol to step forth and bring out the end of chaos when all we needed was the true messiah to replenish the ways of the old. The ways of the true.
Seeing Lively filled a hole deep inside me. Not in the sense of love or hate but more of acceptance. It's been so long since my brand of violence was appreciated. All the hard work, all the dedication and blood I've shed finally gets recognized. Our messiah has come home....
The scene opens on a dark light room. Giggles heard in the backround as a man in a hooded robe stands before his victim. His eyes glowing in the darkness, grinning, laughing at the hooded man. Bound by his hands and forced to his knees, Reaver smiles at his fate. The hood comes off as Michael Lively stands there rubbing his hands together in awe of his test of faith to his new partner.
Lively: You've gone through a lot my giggly friend. Accused of theft, hard work; gone to waste. Hospital after hospital, bill after bill. Court rooms, rings and venues.....Oh My! I didn't bring you here for a good laugh, you were brought here as a test. I hereby test your faith and belief that I am YOUR JESUS!
Reaver: YES YES!! PRAISE JESUS!! HEHEHAHAHAHA!!
Lively: How far are you willing to go to share the faith? Are you willing to die for it? Are you willing to kill for it?
Reaver: HEHEHEHAHAHA!
Lively: I shall put you to the test......
All I could think of at the time was how excited I was to be in the presence of greatness. A man who was the ORIGINAL grand slam champion of APW. The man who started Asylum all those years ago.
Kneeling there from what appears to be against his will, or maybe not, Reaver awaited his test of faith. Sparks fly; illuminating the darkness as an electrified baton is turned on. The smile from Reaver's face disappears; not out of fear but more out of boredom. Jason Kash and the former Johnny Knuckles would tase each other on a regular basis. Almost like brothers playing against their mother's wishes. Over the years, both Kash and Knuckles built up a type of immunity to electroshock therapy. So when Reaver seen the sparks, all he could do was yawn.
With one swift motion, Lively thrusts the baton into Reavers chest. Sparks fly almost for theatrics but almost have no reaction at all. He swings the baton as if to beat him like LAPD would against a black guy for looking at him the wrong way but still, no reaction. Lively stops when he begins to smell the burning flesh of Reaver. Looking at Lively, he bats an eye brow almost mocking him.
Lively: Hmm, I see. Time to step it up....
I began losing trust in Mike. Is this the best he has? Me and Kash fought like dogs for almost a decade and this was his test? I hope he has a better plan for taking back Asylum.
Lively steps off scene but returns with two batons. Reaver yawns again but as the sparks fly, he realizes that both batons are connected to a wire that are also hooked up to a car battery. He smiles and rattles around in excitement.
Reaver: HEHEHEHAHAHAHA!!!!! YEEESS!!!!! MY SAVIOR HASN'T FORSAKEN ME!!!
Lively: You didn't honestly think I would forget about you did you? You're a lot tougher than you let on and now your test of faith can REALLY begin.
He clanks the batons together before thrusting them at Reavers chest. He screams in agony but giggles at the same time. It reminds him briefly of a scene from Lethal Weapon where the asian guy takes a wet sponge hooked up to a car battery and rubs it all over his chest. Reaver seems remember the movie so much that he almost blacks in and out from the pain, all the while; still giggling.
YES!! My savior understands me! It's really him. The messiah of extreme and the only hope left for Asylum.
He stops long enough for Reaver to catch his breath only to hit him again. Over and over until his hands started to get sweaty from holding the batons and feels a little bit of it himself. Reaver shook around so much from jolting back and forth that the light in the basement turned itself on and was swinging.
Lively: Do you trust me? Do you trust that I am YOUR JESUS!? Do you trust that I can lead you and the rest of Asylum to the promised land?
Reaver: HEHEHAHAH!! YES my lord! Help us restore Asylum to it's original glory.
Lively: Then your faith has been proven. You are indeed worthy........to walk beside me.
Reaver: Thank You! HEHEHAHAHA!!
Lively: If you'll excuse me, I have to get upstairs so I can give Jason HIS test of faith.
Lively pulls out a bag of gold dust and walks upstairs and off scene. Reaver continues to hang there breathing heavy but with a huge smile on his face as the scene fades.
Reaver: Survival. This whole concept of Asylum is about survival. From the day it was born, the chaos and anarchy that in-sued arose champion after champion. Not to be handed opportunities like Overdrive but to EARN them. That is the meaning of a TRUE champion. It's not enough to wanna' fight for the right cause, you have to live through them yourself. This has always been something the Dying Breed has lacked since their birth almost a year ago. Men who all have similar goals and ideas in mind but none were willing to suffer the pain to obtain them.
How many times were you handed a shot Bailey? How many times were you given chance after chance to become somebody before Jason Kash OFFERED you another? He handed you your stardom cuz' he saw something in you nobody else did. And what did you do? You took advantage and rightfully so. You were handed a free ride at the top spot and you did the one thing any of us would kill for, you won the richest prize on Asylum. You took advantage of the opportunity you were given and nobody can take that away from you.
Now here's the problem. Never once did you suffer the slings and arrows to get that chance. It was given to you. Don't believe me that you didn't deserve it? What happened when it was taken from you? Did you get the much deserved rematch? Or were you tossed aside and left for dead? Nobody cared about Anthony Bailey cuz' you didn't really become champion. You weren't really at the top spot. When you became World Heavyweight Champion, what was the buzz on Asylum? The Suicidal Championship, another title held by the champ at the time Jason Kash. How many titles have I won Bailey? How many attempts or title shots was I offered and failed? Yet here I am, the talk of Asylum.
NOT ANTHONY BAILEY!
NOT DYING BREED!!
It's Foul Play. A group of men with the goal of fixing the bullshit you and your group of wannabe's caused. None of you have the desire to be the best. You would much rather fuck your way's to the middle. What have any of you done aside from aspire to be nothing? The Pillars tried too only to crumble like the rest of Rome when it got too big. When Ego's grow so much that it has no other choice but to fall. That is what Dying Breed is and will always be. You don't have the symmetry of Foul Play because all of us walked through the fires of hell to ascend to greatness. All of us have put in the work and hardships and have suffered the damnation needed to become champions.
It's only a matter of time. While Lando tries to use shit and fart jokes to warn us off, we continue to rise. Is this all we are to any of you? THIS is the respect we get for making mediocre talent like you guys worth a damn? You rehash stuff already used by us and call it original? It's living proof that the mud butt coming out of Williams is the secret ingredient in his “Chocolate Waste”. You really wanna' buy it now?
People aren't as stupid as you make them out to be. They see the shit coming out of each of you week in and week out and realize that it isn't FOUL enough. It's boring. You can RESPECT the contributions of men like you and your traditional ways but there comes a time when that era IS DEAD. The Dying Breed isn't dying off fast enough and Foul Play will see to it that we speed up the process for you.
There's an old saying, “If it isn't broken, don't fix it.” Asylum was never broken, so why would it need to be fixed? Why is it so hard for any of you to see that?Asylum is a living, breathing being and unless you want to be left behind in a pile of ash, then you have no other choice but to either adapt to the ever changing environment or parish in it's wake. Since your all already Dying, it shouldn't be much more of a stretch to finish the job.......
HEHEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
