Yeah guys! I went with my original idea of doing a Super Mario Brothers Mafia game. I drew up within a week of first signing up out of eagerness to do this, and after asking a couple people who wanted what out of my multitude of cluttered ideas for games, this one's been the clear winner!
Now, I must say that if you've never played Super Mario Bros, I'm sorry. There's no real need for an intro here because anyone who's ever played video games recognizes the name (or probably should).
ANYWAY...
To start this thing off on the right note, I'd like to acknowledge that I'm open to different numbers as far as how many players I want to see in this game. My goal is 20 players, but I have a setup that can be modified down to as little as 15 very easily, and 12 if I do some work to manipulate the setup, so I'll go ahead and OPEN SIGN-UPS!

I'm in. Like Mannie, I need to be Hands On to really learn something. Not hands on him cause it'd be unsanitary but I've got the Mario Brothers song stuck in my head already. I also DEMAND that with every write up you have a youtube video for the song so I can listen to it while I read the write up. This is not negotiable...Haha (joking, it is...)

Speede, if you're looking for 20, it may be worth promoting this through twitter, on these boards to newbies, or even with some of our affiliates (with their permission of course). 15 is the norm for an APW game, and from your list I see all the regulars are signed up. You will struggle to get 20 APWers imo, but if you're determined to get 20 then might be worth advertising.

I noticed T-Marv didn't sign up, and that's his choice, but I wanted to give it at least a full 24 hours before closing sign-ups. Will leave them open until MIDNIGHT EASTERN TIME, so a little over two hours from now. I'll try to send out roles and open the thread tonight, but if not I'll at least get the thread set up tonight with rules and such, and I'll get this thing started after tennis practice tomorrow (AKA, about 6:00pm EAST) |
