The Trust has won their first match as a team defeating the other participants of the Six Man Tag Team Match with only Elis Graham remaining, time would only tell how far this young team would go in their careers but this week they had their first tag team match against a team that Evan faced in his early days in APW.
That’s right, they were facing Dying Breed but this wasn’t an ordinary tag team match, it was a Lumberjack Tag Team Match where the lumberjacks hated each other, can The Trust use this unique situation to their advantage and win?

Well, this is certainly an interesting situation I find myself in.
First I’m facing Overdrive’s Dying Breed because of some spat that Elis had with one of the members over Twitter and then you throw in the fact that it’s a Lumberjack Match with Lumberjacks that hate each other’s guts, this should be interesting to say the very least.
I have wanted another shot at the Dying Breed ever since I faced them when I was teaming up with Yarmouth several months ago, not long after I had made my APW debut actually, but due to them being on a different brand that wasn’t about to happen any time soon, except now I have a perfect opportunity to get a win over them and believe me that is what will happen.
At the moment I am alone in my hotel room, my lady friends are elsewhere tending to their own business, this actually suits me because I can focus on this match without distraction, when they come back I am sure that they will…….tend to my needs……but in the meantime I have a match to promote and promote it I shall.
“This week I find myself in what one might call a unique situation.” I lamented as I folded my arms. “Because of Elis Graham’s use of Twitter I find myself in a tag team match against Overdrive’s Dying Breed Tag Team and not only that but it’s a lumberjack match where the lumberjacks are more likely to beat each other up than do anything to us, I’d question what the Meltdown GM was thinking but I prefer to keep my job so instead I shall focus on the match!”
This will be easy.
“I am certain that Dying Breed has forgotten the last match I had against them, why would they remember their first round match of a tournament that happened several months ago? But I remember it well and I intend to correct the mistakes of the past the only way possible, by defeating Dying Breed in this match with Elis’s help, if the Lumberjacks help then, to be frank, I don’t care.”
I’ll start with the man whose tweets started this nonsense, Anthony Bailey.
“Bailey, your little Twitter War with Elis started this whole mess, I think it’s only appropriate that I start with you, soon enough you will regret your comments made towards my Tag Team Partner Elis Graham, tell me, do you want to know how I know that? It’s simple. You will be defeated by the best tag team on Meltdown, quite possibly the whole APW Roster, that is, off course, The Trust.”
Next up is Hopkins.
“I can’t help but feel sorry for Hopkins, not only is he an idiot but his partner’s idiotic comments dragged him into this mess in the first place! But don’t think for a single second that I’m growing soft, Hopkins is just as idiotic as Bailey is after all, why else would they be teaming together? I assure you that not only will The Trust prevail but we will do so efficiently.”
I got text messages from several lady friends in the area saying that they were coming over for “fun”. I grinned before putting my phone away.
“I must keep this short as I am expecting company soon but I assure you that this promo will be longer than the actual match, sure Dying Breed may be the Tag Team Champions but there is such a thing as a fluke champion and that can even apply to tag team champions such as Dying Breed, The Trust will win and we will prove to the world why we are the best that they have to offer.”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
“Dying Breed, it wouldn’t matter if the lumberjacks where wrestlers who hated each other or a riot squad because either way you will regret this little Twitter war that has been going on between Elis Graham and Bailey, this is “Your Scottish Sensation” and “God’s Gift To Women” Evan McDonald signing off reminding Dying Breed to always invest in The Trust!”
My lady friends arrived and joined my on the couch as the scene fades.
