Kudos to Gooch, Kash, and Jules for help with match-writing. Credit goes to Jennings, Hood, Guv'Nor, Knoxville, Niobe, Ellis, Yanzel, and Peace for segments. Let me know if I missed anyone! Feedback and discussion are appreciated and encouraged. Let us know what you liked, what you didn't like, what we can all work on, thoughts on current storylines-- the usual. ;D Also... Credit to Jules for like 95% of the show-closing segment. I TRICKED HIM INTO DOING IT BY HIMSELF, MUAHAHA! That's mainly a joke/lie. But still, he's a champ. Kash and Gooch are champs too. Everybody did a superb job this week.

I hate interference. I kid I kid. I thought it was good. Kudos to the match writers. Jace was written out well for the match. I really liked the fact he acknowledge the ref about the count out and rolled London in instead of using the count to his advantage. That's what Jace does he fights fair until someone wants to cheat. All in all good segments although Knoxville reffered to Jace having a match with Niobe. At the end of Sampson's and Niobe's match how can Jace watch Knoxville and himself from the back? typos got to love them.

I really liked the show. A lot went on, a lot of feuds continued, and it was total chaos from start to finish. Lots of action which I LOVE.

Great show everybody. I'd like to think the LJ match helped Asylum hype some epic feuds on their brand.
I'm curious how people felt my first run with a show-opening promo went.
Great job writing the LJ match. Absolute chaos, but it all made sense, to include Sang Real being anti-TDB, which makes sense as they're chasing the tag team titles.
Michael Jennings was everywhere tonight, in a good way. It's a shame he's not more involved in the NA Title scene because his attitude also provides a great foil to Sienna's "efforts to create a respectable champion".
All in all a simply massive show that shows off the considerable depth of Meltdown (I'm sensing a draft pick or two getting called on after Mayhem) and said depth's considerable willingness to support the show through solid segments and RP work.

Yea, I didn't realize that we referred to jace having a match with Niobe until after I started reading. I dunno how that happened. We even spoke about the card before working in that segment and discussed her taking on Sampson. My bad.

So did anyone else start reading my intro and think "Why I have a feeling Titan is going to lose?"
I don't know why, just low standards in regards to myself I guess. Good show, very nicely written plus the additional segments and introductions for new guys is always a welcomed sight. Now each feud is just getting better and better, this week everything jumped up a level. At least in my eyes.

I'll be back with actual feedback, but I want to apologise for a few coding errors on my part, especially not deleting the 'Speede wins' heading before sending sending off Speede v Roberts. I apologise for that, especially if it ruined anyone's enjoyment of the match.

I wish I was a Champion....(Insert sad face) I miss the fraternity. I'll review this later although Thumb to the eye from Kash had me ROLLING! I was laughing so hard seeing in my head Kash thumb Williams and run like a chicken wuss. Also when Gooch came at Kash almost hitting him with a Big Boot and Kash dropping to his ass and scooting away...Priceless, fitting to the character against bigger men or challenged rivals. Good stuff. Again more of a review will come.

So far I have only read a few choice bits from the results. I love the Carter/Savage match. I really enjoyed how evenly matched they were and it was written in a way that left both chatacers a bunch of opportunities for next week. The Niobe/Knoxville segment was really good but you know I'm going after those typos in my next rp . I loved my match and not just because I won. In many Feds the female wrestler gets an immunity to physics which can just ruin the reading of it. I had no probles imagining the action in that match and the end had me on the edge of my seat. Bravo! I will finish reading the card this evening and get some more thoughts up in this post.

Thanks for the feedback, guys-- please, keep it coming.
Also, I've gone back and edited a few minor typos and errors (mostly my own), but I'm sure I haven't caught all of them!

I'll begin with the formality of thanking Evan Envi once again for a splendid job organising and arranging the show. I for one appreciate the continued punctuality and the commitment to putting out an excellent product. Kudos to all match writers who aren't me, and all the Megastars that continue to make Meltdown so great through segments and roleplays.
Now I'm done kissing everybody's ass in some way, shape or form on with the show...
The lumberjack brawl was definitely something different to begin the show with. The great thing about this, and the match itself, was that I really felt every lumberjack could take something from it. I haven't seen before that kind of investment by a writer in the actual lumberjacks and the dynamic between them--- so well done to Evan for doing that.
Another great thing about this set-up and the match was that it sold the level of competition in the tag team division. It's incredible how things change: twelve months ago it looked like tag team wrestling might be disappearing from APW, but it's probably the most competitive division in the fed right now.
That Meltdown is the official melting pot of all of this is really a massive GEE for the brand.
Kid, you wanted some feedback on your opening segment. It was great, even down to the nod to Goldberg. I think in a short time you've got Ellis Graham over in APW in a way that I think you probably could never have done with Kid Dynamo. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the Dynamo character by any stretch, but the amount of attack in that character never felt right for what was supposed to be a face persona. Maybe I'm alone in that, but I like this Ellis Graham because I know where I am with him. He's a total slag (no-good bastard) to quote The Guv'nor, and I'm quite happy to play the mark, boo the sob and have a great time doing so.
It was a great promo, didn't flatter to deceive at all, and that The Trust won the match made it feel like a really big breakthrough moment for the character. One of those occasions where RP-based e-fedding and the kind of booking you want to see come together.
I loved the finish to the LJ match. I'm going to agree with Shadow here and say heels go over clean a bit too often; this kind of cheap win is the perfect booking for The Trust.
I'm glad Gooch/Knox hasn't been buried. I'm actually a bit disappointed now that Gooch will be facing Evan Envi at Mayhem. Not because I don't think Gooch deserves that match, but I just think the first ever cross-brand singles feud and PPV match would have been a great selling point for Mayhem. It's certainly an idea I've considered taking to the management in the past. Oh well, not to be I guess.
I'm going to join the queue to pat JamesV on the back for what he's doing with Michael Jennings. He's doing exactly what every megastar that has ever been drafted from Meltdown has done, and making it happen for his character, rather than sitting around and waiting for someone to throw him a bone.
I'm going to agree and disagree with Kid here. I agree Jennings belongs in the NA Title picture, but I'm going to disagree that he's not involved. It's the title of opportunities as I see it, i.e. plenty of them need to be handed out. It's not a title you sit on for two months and build a feud towards a title defense. I think what I've been working on with Robina had in mind a possible NA Title match (if I'm lucky enough to get to Mayhem with Guv still champ), but could still be done without it. That's how you have to work on Meltdown.
Anyway, my point is everyone is in the NA title picture, everyone who grafts deserves a shot. Jennings will get another shot, unless he's drafted first, whether it's Guv'nor, Billy Pepsi, Robina Hood, or anyone else as champ.
For my part I'm glad Peps and Hood picked up the win this week. After so many weeks looking strong, there had to come a point when Guv'nor is made to look vulnerable. That's not to say I'm suggesting this was angled, far from it. Another one of thos moments when RPs and desirable booking hold hands. Peps and Hood deserved the win, and I'm looking forward to another challenge and a 1-on-1 battle with Peps next week.
I'm going to say well done to Warren Peace for getting not just a RP but also a segment out this week. It's a shame that Guv'nor/Peace never took off in whatever capacity, but it would have taken off in a big way had it done so. Anyway, I'd love do some collaboration with Warren at some point in the future.
I'm liking the stable wars angle that's building around Foul Play/The Breed/The Killaz. This is something I've never seen in APW. We have The Sindicate on OD, the Pillars on Asylum, but I've always seen those as alliances rather than all-out stables with a purpose and a defined ethos like we have from FP/DB/NBK. Good work all round.
That last segment, if any credit is owed I'm not taking it. I just created the skeleton, Evan and Robina added the muscle. I'm going to applaud Robina on a fantastic closing promo. There has been a slow build to this moment, but when Robina delivers moments like that you know the exposure is deserved.
Yeah, this was an action-packed edition of Meltdown. Everyone is on their A-game right now, I don't want to see a draft yet because I think there's plenty of needle here and there that could and should be explored within the confines of this show. Certainly from Guv'nor's pov I can see 4-5 characters I would want to work with, but I fear they will all draft before I get a chance.

This 500 times over. Best Lumberjack I've ever read in eWrestling. Not because I was involved but because it really gave you an image of everyone at ringside without taking anything from the match itself. Perfect.

The Natural Born Killaz are more of a tag team, not a stable. I mean... it would be cool if it was a Stable with me & Leon as captains/Tag Team of said stable. I'd have to talk it over with Leon and look at different people on the shows to decide because if it did get okayed by all parties, to live up to our banners, we'd have to stealin' the shows.

With the talent on Meltdown right now, I'd love to see not a draft, but an invasion.
IE instead of just plucking guys, take 3 faces (we'll say Jennings/Guv'Nor/Speede) & send them to Overdrive as a stable "doing what the rest of OD can't: stop the Sindicate" and take 3-4 heels (we'll say Trust & NightmareVille) as a combined force to Asylum to basically try and take over, feuding hard with Dying Breed in the process.
I don't know if that would go over, but I think it would be a testament to the quality this show is packing if we made an angle out of the inevitable draft instead of just letting people move up and forgetting about them.
And I will say this: I've seen enough from newer folks like Cyprus, Carter, and others to feel like even if there's a heavy draft, Meltdown is still gonna be a big quality show, which is great.

Great Meltdown guys!! The LJ match was off the chain!! I will check to see who all was involved..but whomever he/she/they are...they are my hero. One of the best matches I have ever read...in my 7 months of reading matches. LOL BTW, Kash where was that thumb before you poked me in the eye with it? I am probably going to need to get some anti-biotics aren't I??

Ohhh I see I just read it wrong. I've never entered another human beings ass with any limbs of mine. But if I'd had known there would be a Thumping, I'd have had a segment where Kash rolled his thumb in Ghost Pepper powder. And who picks their nose with their thumb? How big are your nostrils man?!
