Show's up! Big thanks to Jason Kash, AJP, Terry, and especially Evan Envi for matches this week.
Also, thanks to Kash, Bailey, Terry, AJP, Christian Kane, Logan Alexander, Keaton and Atken for segs. If I missed you, let me know. I was very generous with the seg credit this week, as only four people sent in the segs incorporating the characters. Remember, folks, these shows are for you, by you, so they are what you make them!
Discuss away with the go home show before Mayhem!

Few things real quick but I'll do a indepth review later as well...
-- AJP no selling Foul Play in her opening segment. Kind of fucked off but I can take a jab.
-- Towards the end of the show it says Reaver and Hopkins will wrestle at the Meltdown Super Show? That a misprint because as far as I have known, the Super Show will be a different match involving Reaver. Hopkins is suppose to defend the Tag Titles with Bailey on that night so that announcement had me confused.

I love multiple segments that lead to a big payoff. Props to AJP & anyone else who contributed to the broken rib -> CK added to match storyline.
I thought the Kash/Bailey segment was unique. I've had enough experience to need to suspend a little disbelief (Bailey + adrenaline > super glue) but it was far from egregious and, if I have to buy in to super super glue to have that powerful segment, and it was certainly powerful, then I'm totally good with it.
A lot of great match writing. Biggs said the segment count was light, but to be honest, I didn't notice at all. That's also a credit to Biggs for pacing the show perfectly.
Speaking of Biggs, I've enjoyed the Rabb/Schmidt feud except that Schmidt has seemed really heel-ish in the fact that Raab's last two matches have been stacked-deck (fighting Mannie when he was expected to have interference; fighting the Suicidal champ in a Suicidal rules match should feel like home court for the champ) affairs. Maybe I've been misreading Reginald the past few weeks, and I will say that that's exactly what a guy like Regunald SHOULD do if he knows he's fighting a guy like Raab. It just means Schmidt is mortgaging some of his face heat to look like he's smart enough to outfox Raab, and I guess the fan in me wanted to see pure David vs Goliath in that match.
Great go-home show for Asylum! Looking forward to Mayhem and the fallout June 2nd!

I was gonna go with gluing him to himself. Like holding his face like he's reenacting Home Alone scenes. I agree it'd need to be some powerful glue to work on cement.

I'm sure it wasn't on purpose and hell you didn't even mention The Sindicate so it's not a big deal. To me, the Pillars fell apart as soon as it started and in most part, TJ has carried the load himself there. So I wouldn't have placed it as a Stable. That's just me though, something I noticed and smiled at. Maybe it's a jab, maybe it's not. I don't much care really, I appreciate the tool to motivate things more because of it regardless of how it was intended. So we're good.

Oh. I just picked the 2 groups (or "groups" i guess) we were usually feuding with lol. I didn't mean for it to be a jab......
Anyway, I'll try to have feedback finished first thing in the morning!!

I can see that as well so again, not a big thing at all. If anything I was irritated from work and just took it as a jab. I see it your way now though, makes sense even.

Is it me or does the color code on Christian's segment look a lot like Stefan's color code?

As KJE said, she helped with our segment and deserves credit. ;D Anyway... quick(ish) feedback. I want to thank Christian and Terry for working on the opening segment with me. It was all done a few hours before the show went up, and I'm glad it went together so well. One error I noticed was that I had typed "Christian and Logan standing in the ring" instead of "Christian and Aubrey." Careless error on my part (the result of waiting until the last minute to do 5 things at once) but luckily I don't think many people have noticed!! I loved Kash vs Williams and with the build between FP and TDB it almost seemed like it had PPV hype. In the end, during the counterfest, I was certain that it had to lead to a WDW victory, but JKash deserved the win this week and I can't wait to see the two lock up again. Also, a nod to Evan for taking very vague match-notes and running a mile with it for TJ vs AJP. I would like to think that the apron-to-announce-table spot was devastating but not so much that somebody wouldn't be able to finish the match- and I think that it came off as believable the way it was written. I enjoyed the match, and huge thanks to TJ for being a great opponent this week. It forced me to step up my game.. and we will meet again!! Someone mentioned earlier that they didn't notice the lack of segments, and I didn't even realize how segment-lite the show was until just now. We've got three matches in a row with no segment, but all of the first 3 matches had huge storylines driving them, and the commentary was so good on all 3 (especially Raab vs KJE) that it made me forget. I like that the match was ended quickly because it doesn't bury KJE- it protects her as the Suicidal Champion, but still sells the point that Raab is one of the craftiest, most opportunistic people on the roster. The beatdown on Reginald at the end was classic, and would have gotten uber heel heat in any arena. Good stuff, and I'm finding myself rooting for Raab more and more these days. (I also lol'd at "Mad German Overlord.") I won't comment on my own segment- but I hope it was received well. As Ellis pointed out, all the segments connected to tell a story. Bailey vs Lively was short and sweet, and I'm admittedly kind of bummed that there wasn't a finish. I THINK I know why the match might have ended in a draw OOC-wise, but IC-wise at least it really sells this Foul Play vs Dying Breed feud, which, as of this episode, has hit a peak. It's become an all out faction war and I love that. This is going to quickly become one of my favorite angles assuming it lasts pasts Mayhem. Hopefully people enjoyed the Fatal 4 Way. This was a lot of fun to write, and all of these characters mesh so well with each other. I read all of the RPs for this and every single one of them was fantastic. I hope I did everybody justice in the match. Congrats, Logan! ;D The Undisputed Title hype segment was necessary, and it was a good read. Some of the dialogue, for the record, was hilarious - and then the TDB/FP segment added a whole new level to the feud. Kash always takes personal shots at Bailey.... I'm at the point where I'm waiting for Bailey to finally prevail and trump Kash again, because every time we think Bailey has the upperhand, Kash pulls something out of his sleeve to take it away. I want to thank Logan and KJE for helping me with the segment after that and as always, it was fun to work with them and get their input. ;D I'm excited to see where KJE is taking her character with this current angle. The match started how I expected it to, but it was written beautifully, haha. The match itself was well-written and it put over all three men in spectacular fashion. I did NOT expect Marvin to be the one to be lying on his back at the end though. I'm wondering if someone can finally dethrone him at Mayhem- but my money's on Marv, even though he doesn't have so much momentum going into this show, which is a definite change from the norm. Overall, a pretty solid go home show in my opinion. Great work everybody, and Biggs!!

IC- I agree with AJP that the finish did the best possible job of putting the seemingly invincible Marvin in jeopardy. OOC- I think we're all looking forward to seeing how Marv handles his first defense under Asylum rules (I reckon 2 2k RPs is way different than 1 4k in a lot of ways.) If he handles this flawlessly, then he might rule Asylum for a while longer until finally the last person left to challenge him: Mr. Dangerous.

The opening segment was really strong but the absense of Logan kind of caught me off guard. It seems like AJP, LA, and CK are all unified but the way the Fatal Four Way for Tap-Out Gauntlet Spot ended, it seems like they aren't really unified after all. Can't wait to see how this one plays out!
Marv is the mastermind of shock value so I know something more will come out of the AJP/CK segment interruption. When the news article of The Sindicate looking to add some new members to the fold, AJP, LA, and CK were the ones that came to mind. Could this still be the case? Of course but seeing as how the segment played out with the three, it'll be another one of Marvin's classic swerves done to pull it off.
I enjoyed Kash vs. WDW. I know that WDW has a history with Reaver but out of all the Foul Play members, I think WDW works best against Kash in my opinion. Their chemistry is phenomenal and they feed off of each other very well.
I have my eyes on TJ (insert awkward creeper remark here). His Twitter was very emo today and he was apologetic towards AJP?? That's something I'd never do lol. Looks like TJ is slowly beginning to take his character in the new direcion he mentioned in the podcast. I'm especially interested in how this plays out because TJ is a big name on the brand.
The build of Schmidt/Raab has been better than the build of Jeff/Raab in my opinion. Maybe because it's a brand thing but I dunno. It just seems more organic between them. I know people were pulling for Raab to win at Rasslemania but how about now? Do people really want Raab to be the one calling the shots on Asylum? It would definitely be interesting!
My match against Lively was good (thanks Kash). I admit, I was pretty intimidated going up against such a legend but I had fun. I had a difficult time choosing which angle to come at him with for RP'ing so I tried to keep the religious tones as interesting as possible. Hope I didn't bore anybody lol.
The Undisputed Title match at Mayhem is stacked! Anybody can come home with the belt so it's very intriguing. I'm also interested in the aftermath. Who will be the next #1 contender after the PPV? Will someone be getting a push? The anticipation is heavy for me.
Poor KJE. Facing her two biggest enemies at Mayhem at the same time? I always like to root for the underdog but in this case, she's the under under dog lol. No offense but you know AJP and CK are gonna team up on her and try to make her lose. Maybe their egos will get the best of them and they will fail to co-exist and KJE can shock everybody and come home with the win? That'll be good for the storyline.

Hahaha...WDWJ, Lively used to wear tights to the ring with a flap in the front trying to tea bag his opponent, I could always busy those out of the closset for you!!
Anyways this show was a great read, lots of talented writers in Asylum and in APW once again brought the show to life. The AJP, Kane opener was awesome generated heat, and Marvin played his part to perfection, which is why he is the man for us all to strive to out do...easier said then done. You could see storylines unfold, seeds grow, and tensions rise. The Foul Play Dying Breed beef seems to fit well and continues to build steam. I loved the end of the Gauntlet qualifier, the interaction between Logan, AJP priceless and the spot was written well so you could feel like you were there. I'm pumped for the PPV more so to see all the drama go down!!
Great work guys and gals and again sorry for my part in dropping the ball as for match writing.

I only didn't do a segment because I didn't have any ideas on what to do in a segment other than trash talking but I didn't want to do just that. It was a good sending off show regarding the segments situation.
