Thought about buying a place down here recently. Brazil was just a great place to be for the last few shows. I've felt welcomed by the people here, they loved the Kriss Kross entrance on Asylum. People are beginning to see that what I'm doing, this addiction I have isn't what makes me a bad guy. I'm a bad guy because I am forced to be ruthless in order to grab someone's attention..That someone being Anthony Bailey.
The air blasting him to the face as he speeds down the street in an expensive Sports Car. Lively rented him and Reaver one. His gift to them. Kash had his own gifts to give but they would come later. A sign of their loyalty to this group. None of them play to being best friends but allies and Brothers for the sake of the banner they stand together and represent.
As he stops at a red light, he finds himself fighting with his own thoughts. Needing something to help push back his craving. Wanting it to build up, grow before getting to Mayhem and allowing it to erupt on Bailey. That was his plan for his Addiction. It's itching though. It's wanting that fix, that remedy but Kash wants the fill in his veins to be special. Bailey was that special kind of drug he wanted.
Jason Kash: It took a year of talking trash, a year of calling you out. It took someone kidnapping the love of your life and becoming friends with your childhood bestie to get you to take notice. To not look the other way, to have an interest. I sure got your attention didn't I Bailey? For the last year you have been a goal on a shortlist of goals I want to accomplish. Beating you...Standing above you with my hand raised. I can almost taste it. I crave it. Not just your defeat but the Action that I know we will share together at Mayhem. It's been a year since we fought, last year at this time I was defending the World Title against Knuckles and Chad Dillinger. My focus was on them and you were just some new punk who had a few roll up victories.
Do you even remember that first match? When you rolled me up and pinned me? I stood up, raised your hand and gave you the respect of being the victor. That respect wasn't given back to me. No, it didn't take long before you were telling people you'd be a Double Champion. How was I the bad guy there Bailey? I gave the new guy love and a World Title shot and he gives me nothing in return? I came to realize that's just who you are Bailey and became Foul Natured. You take and want but what have you given anyone in return? I handed you a World Title match and only when you disrespected me did I go to great lengths to disrespect you. That's why when you for the last year ignored me, looked the other way...I knew I had to disrespect you once again to regain that notice. Still I did better for you than you've done for me or anyone else...
Making a left as he takes his turn at the lights. Kash picks up speed, swerves around a bicycle rider and gets back in his lane. He needed something because he couldn't stop thinking about how he could add to Bailey's mental pain.
Jason Kash: When I seen Tasha walk out of your life. Everyone witnessed the stagger of Anthony Bailey. The falling off periods where nothing seemed as important anymore. I felt your pain, I wept with you. When I listened and watched as you explained the falling out between you and Rob. Childhood friends. I felt the hurt, the regret in your voice. Everyone did but I felt your pain Bailey! So I went and did something for you. I wanted you to be back at your very best but I also knew that if I stepped in not only would you get some closure but I'd get that match I've wanted all these months. Looks like I was right on all accounts.
Never before had Tasha seemed to want you around more than when you released her from around the toilet bowl. You had your heart back in your arms and begging for your protection. The first thing you do is lie to her. She wanted the police and you outright ignored her request, didn't tell her the truth. You really are all about yourself. Williams and Hopkins should open their eyes. These fans should open their eyes. You've either been gullible douche like you were when Sally befriended you only to get close to the World Title or you're out for yourself. Me? Yeah I do shit to improve my surroundings but ask around, ask some of the new talent, those coming up who has worked with them to improve. Who has given them advice to improve their game and their answers will ALL have my name on their replies. I'm about this Promotion, I'm about the future of Asylum and it's growth...You...You are the enemy, the bad guy...I am just the one who cut the puppet strings and shows that this business isn't to play nice but survive and climb to the top doing whatever it takes...
I WILL BEAT YOU...
I NEED TO BEAT YOU...
I MUST BEAT YOU...
The fans turned me into what I've become. Arrogance in people who feel entitled to be in the spotlight have made me into the bad guy. I broke the law entering your home last year and those fans...they CHEERED when I was arrested. Weeks before that they cheered for me as soon as stepped out from the back. They showed like you showed, I wasn't to blame, I was the victim in the undecided world of fan base. They switch picks like they're playing Fantasy League. I WAS THE FAN FAVORITE..I was the one who took the belt away from KING Rico Casteel. THEY LOVED ME FOR THAT...You came in, you were the fresh meat, the new flavor and for the past year you've been fading. Since those wins over me, you've slowly faded and if not for Hopkins carrying you through Tag Matches. GIVING you the credit, watching as you take it...No wonder he tried to end it. I KNEW he was soft but that too comes from hanging out with fake ass dudes like you. Those who put on a front to be what they really aren't. You pretend to be good, pretend to be holy. Like some do, they find religion to give them an excuse for their wrongs. You sicken me Bailey...I'm going to hurt you...BADLY...
Pulling into a parking space at the side of the road, Kash honks the horn. Waiting a few minutes he scans the area, winks at a few women only to make him think about KJE. Then from the building in front of where he's parked comes Rob. Not a sharp dressed guy at all, looks almost dorky but carries himself better than Kash would have guessed. Rob plops down in the passenger seat of the Sports Convertible and Kash puts it in reverse.
Rob: Hey buddy, how's it going today? You ready for some Beach Volleyball! I'm so excited, this is going to be FUN!
Jason Kash: Yeah..That sounds just spiffy but I'm not playing Beach Volleyball. I'll kick it at the beach though, I need some calm time. Bailey says I'm obsessed.
Rob: Maybe you are..
Jason Kash: If I was, I'd have duct taped his momma. Tossed her in a trunk. JUST to have him admit I am awesome and then I'd release her...of course..
The look on Rob's face is both stunned and disgusted. Kash glances over and Rob changes his expression.
Jason Kash: Dude, relax! We're friends now, I'm not gonna hurt you! I also won't replace you, a friend who shows loyalty will never be replaced. A friend who has been there for YEARS will not be replaced..Your old friend Bailey is a bad friend, I'm just a friend who gives tough love when it's needed! I expect it back as well because it's needed for me at times too.
Rob: Bailey was always a crummy friend. Calling you a false prophet was just dumb. I haven't heard you say anything untrue yet. He is only making you mad, like he really wants you more ticked off. Super glue wasn't enough? His girlfriend wasn't enough? The guy needs to respect the people who paved the way for him..Clearly he hasn't done that.
Jason Kash: He's got nothing. He was using Gay Jokes and Drug Jokes at me on Twitter...AFTER Hopkins overdoses. Yeah, he a GOOD friend! Haha! You should THANK Hopkins for taking him from you. Saves you from being as big of a fake and phoney person like he's become.
Swerving the car into another lane, Rob hangs on to the door frame tightly. The air hitting them with increasing speed as Kash whips the tail of the car and zips into a parking space at a beach front. Sand blasts up like dust clouds from the tires as he shuts down the engine. Looking at Rob, Kash laughs.
He hasn't cursed a single time since we've hung out. Makes me wonder how much of a "Good" boy Bailey was before putting on the front to fit in around Hopkins. Makes me laugh to no end just thinking about it. MAN I want to put that dude in a Wheel chair...Bailey would FIT in a Wheel chair...Haha!
Rob: wah wah wah...wah wah...
Jason Kash: Charlie Brown? Wait..what? I was totally lost in my thoughts man, sorry.
Rob: I said, don't stress too much over Bailey. He has far too much on his mind right now. He can't focus. I've seen the air balls that his thoughts can create..He's got A LOT on his mind..You gonna come to the beach?
Jason Kash: Yeah...in a little bit. Gonna put some thoughts together, try to release some tension.
Rob: Alright, I'm gonna get my Volleyball on! And hey, thanks for inviting me to come down here. I'm really having a lot of fun in Brazil. I can't wait for Mayhem, this is all a rollercoaster ride and I'm really enjoying it...So thanks!
Jason Kash: Yeah man, not a problem. I'm glad you're having fun. I'll be over there in a bit..
Rob exits the Sports Car by popping up over the door and jumping out. Kash didn't mind, he'd done it a few times when he got the car. He also tried to slide across the hood but..that didn't work to his advantage..As Rob runs onto the sand and gets out to the Volleyball nets, Kash scans the area. His thoughts go back to Anthony Bailey as the tense feeling in his body creeps back through his veins. An Addiction he wants to fill with a prescription of Action.
Jason Kash: Bailey...I know you have a lot on your mind. With Tasha, with Hopkins in the hospital, with Rob now at my side. Giving me details on the great adventures of BORE that was your childhood. Not to mention wondering how you'll defend your Tag Titles with Hopkins in the Hospital for the Super Show the night after Mayhem. Will Williams be able to step in? Hell, will you even be able to defend them at all? Aubrey J Parker and Logan Alexander will have an easy win. Holding those straps once again until Foul Play takes them. See after losing to you Bailey I stepped up and became something different. I quit caring about what was "right" or "wrong", I was content with being labeled as long as getting into people's heads and beating them mentally before I put them down like dying dogs is my reward. That's what you've become Bailey...And I can help you! Once again, I'll give you the same treatment I've given a few others in APW.
Ask Callahan, ask Young Mannie, ask Reaver. Each and everyone of them changed after losing to me. Being defeated by the man that will be across from you at Mayhem. Callahan wanted Pro Life and it got aborted. He went on and made changes, and now look at him! He became World Champion, FINALLY. At least I beat him though, did you? Young Mannie is the same thing. Ask him with he decided to go from Mr. 420 to "Main Attraction". Ask him when he threatened to leave APW for SNW and Jeff said leave on Twitter, ask him who was the one who sent him packing with that last loss before he made the threats? That change came because of me. Their lows, my Highs. My Addiction found, my prescription filled. Then you have Reaver. Someone, the ONE man who after I opened his eyes for him...Actually thanked me. Now look at him. You can say what you will about him but everyone now more than ever knows he's a threat at any time and point to blow up. I gave him his violent nature, his will to survive after a near collapse. Look it up, watch old tapes...All of it is there. They might not admit to it but the proof as they say is in the pudding..
YOU ARE MY REDEMPTION.
YOU ARE MY MOUNTAIN CLIMBED..
YOU ARE MY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP...
Go and ask Tommy Knoxville how many times I've woken him up from his troubles. How many times I opened his eyes and forced him to reevaluate his own surroundings. He too is looking pretty good in the ring these days wouldn't you agree? A wise, wise man once told me after my suspension that I've done more good than bad for this Promotion. That rings true wholeheartedly and I've done nothing but push for this show to rise out of it's little brother status. I helped that rise. I was a REAL Pillar to and for Asylum, long before new names stepped in and called themselves such. You too have rights to make that claim but for you it was done to achieve your own success while I looked to build the future. Foul Play represents that completely. Lively brings the past, the experienced. Reaver and I are the current, we're the ones who have helped CARRY this Show to this moment. Right now. We're here and you and I have to find out if a year's time has changed the outcome.
I was a people person, I wanted those fans cheers and they're still cheering, still rocking heads like bobble heads when I step out. I don't care if it's boos or cheers though, I'll feed off their emotions because it's with them that pays our bills. I get that, I appreciate that but I'm not going to be that sucker who plays within a certain line of rules in order to win, in order to be that guy who earns his keep. Only recently have I been the type to interfere or have interference on my behalf and it's because I know that while I might be shady but I'm open about being so. I don't hide behind pretend and make believe. You believe your a friend, thought something was wrong for weeks with Hopkins and did nothing about it. Probably didn't even ask him what was wrong. I know Williams didn't last week, he was more concerned with his Beanie Babies. Friends like you guys..I'd rather be an outcast.
He takes a deep breath with his head laid back and eyes closed against the head rest of the driver seat. Almost in a meditation method but he tries to push back his anger, his hunger, his Addiction.
Jason Kash: I'm trying so hard to keep my cool. Keep myself from picking a fight with some stranger. Just to fill the void that's inside of me to want to hurt someone. If not for this business I'd be in Prison. Maybe that makes me a bad guy. To me, it's a tool that keeps crazy under control. Bailey this thing between us? You might want it gone. You might want to be finished with the rivalry. I'll always hate you..I'll always want to hurt you...But I have to wait now. I have to wait and here I am waiting. Holding back this rage inside of me. Watching your Childhood friend play Volleyball. How often did you spend the night at each other's house growing up? Playing fort or action figures or patty cake! Good times? Yeah..a different time as well I'm sure, much innocent. Before the front, the posing image you've created for yourself. He sees the change but you preach there isn't one..Heh..I'm glad he's here, I'm happier though that I know I have your attention. This is how I've made it...This is...
THIS IS MY REMEDY..
THIS IS MY STRUGGLE...
THIS IS MY STORY...I WILL HAVE MY HAND RAISED...
The scene fades as Kash opens the driver door and steps out of the car. Flip flops on his feet, he walks into the sandy beach and feels the heat between his toes as they are covered in sand and he heads over to where the Action is at, where he can find small fixes for his Addiction.
The air blasting him to the face as he speeds down the street in an expensive Sports Car. Lively rented him and Reaver one. His gift to them. Kash had his own gifts to give but they would come later.
