The location is some forest, more specifically at the edge of a forest while beside a road, and there is snow all over the place. On the bushes, the trees, the road and even on this footpath that have two people currently standing upon it. The smaller of the two is obviously Meltdown’s own Robina Hood, with the only evidence needed being her purple hair, as she is wearing some kind of coat and a black pair of trousers with some kind of black boots…but the other person is completely unknown. While the demented megastar is as pale as the snow around her, this man is tanned in a Latin American way. His hair is as black as the solar eclipse itself while his eyes are browner than the oldest oak. He is wearing a black hoody, with the hood down, and matching bottoms with equally black trainers as he began to speak up, his eyes looking down upon the ‘Perfect Megastar.’
“Perfect…perfection…beautiful…do you think that you can be any of these things Megan? Or do you prefer Robina?”
The eighteen year old tried to speak up yet immediately the lanky male pressed the index finger of his right hand against her lips, shushing the dangerous young woman in the process, before continuing to speak, walking around the young megastar while doing so.
“One or the other it doesn’t change who you are…a disappointment. From the time your rear was televised across the world to when you failed to protect your friend from Amy Zing. You’re ugly on the inside…you’re ugly on the inside…you’re repulsive…you’re an embarrassment. While people may seem to boo you, they are secretly laughing at you…everyone is laughing at you. Niobe…Amy…Yarmouth…Michael…and Guv’nor himself are all laughing at you. You are a disappointment to all everything Sienna has put behind you, it’s only a matter of time before she drops you like a bad habit…or better yet, she should sent you off to an asylum because that is where monsters like you belong.”
His voice is has cold as the snow around them as he took his methodical time with each step, not missing any opportunity to say his words directly into her ears. How could she, the same woman that has mercilessly used a crowbar against Guv’nor twice in as many Meltdown episodes, take such abuse from some stranger without reacting? Well after the last word left his lips the forest-dweller immediately spun around to face him and tried to speak…but before a single word could be uttered, he spoke up again.
“Is this who you’re willing to be Robina? A joke? A bad investment? A child among a roster of adults? This Sunday you think that a steel cage will help you beat The Guv’nor for the Title? You don’t have what it takes to defeat him. You can say something about some tag match a while ago but you didn’t win, neither did Guv’nor lose, Billy won and Michael lost…all you did was wasting light. You’re nothing…you’re pathetic…and what are you planning to do Robina? You’ve beaten him down twice yet he still stands tall for you’ve never truly beaten him in a match…”
The verbal abuse continued as no matter how much she tried, the purple haired dynamo couldn’t say anything in return to them. Her straight face was slowly losing out to sadness as this man seem to know her buttons too well, evidenced by how she isn’t beating the shit out of him yet. Moments after uttering ‘in a match’ his right hand suddenly shot out, went around the young woman’s neck and grabbed the back of her head. Instantaneously Robina tried to squirm out of his grip but to no avail as he forced her against him. His forehead is now resting against the struggling girl’s forehead as he grinned at what he is seeing.
“You still have it don’t you? Aphephobia, fear of being touched. You have mostly recovered from it but I can tell, just by looking into your eyes right now, that it still exist within your subconscious…and you decided to be a wrestler? How…pitiful. What would dear Gemma say if she saw you right now? What would Chad do if he saw you right now?”
Originally Robina was squirming like mad to get out of his grip but the moment he mentioned the things that she fears the most…her siblings…all the resistance disappeared as a couple of tears managed to broke out from her eyes. The stranger only grinned more sadistically at the sight of these tears.
“I bet those questions are your deepest nightmares…well here is some advice for you Robina, the same kind you’ve given to many before…cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it…for I know that you won’t do anything to resist them, like how you’ll do nothing to stop Guv’nor from successfully defending his Championship. You call yourself sick…twisted…demented…but instead I see nothing more than a little frightened girl…you are a coward and perfection shall never be achieved by cowards.”
While slowly saying his words the stranger slowly yet forcefully made the young megastar take some backwards steps and halfway through his words they were stopped when Robina’s back is against one of the trees. His words became slower, as his voice became darker, as his body came closer to her own. His sadistic grin was replaced with a demonic one when his body slowly pressed itself against Robina’s body as his final words leave his lips. His mouth than moved towards the young woman’s neck while her resistance is nowhere to be seen…
Suddenly the man’s eyes enlarged, almost anime like, as he fell backwards onto the floor with both his hands over his crotch. Meanwhile Robina was still against the tree with her right knee in a raised position, she must have kneed him when he got close enough. This is a brilliant chance for the eighteen year old to run yet instead she stayed where she was. Her eyes looked coldly lost but when they trailed down to see him, a smile now appeared on her face as it is obvious that she has something in mind for this man.
“Am I a coward?”
Barely left her lips as she pushed herself away from the tree. Her eyes were now the demonic looking ones as she got near the man’s face and crouched down beside him before deciding to speak up again.
“Maybe you are right…maybe I am a coward…but what do you know about me, Guv’nor?”
That question brought a whole ‘what the fuck’ kind of expression on the male’s face, not realising that her eyes are now viewing him as her rival, but he knew that he is helpless in this position so he stayed still as Robina’s right hand is now stroking his short hair.
“We’ve fought many times before and never once was I better than you…clearly that gave you a bighead and not in the way you would like it. When I first saw you at Survive and Conquer, preparing yourself for the Survive and Conquer match which you entered ninety-ninth and still lost, the first thing that went through my head was ‘man I wish we’re both single’ since you looked like a cool bloke and that opinion of you never once changed…hell I even thought that we could have got to know each other after our main event…how stupid could I be. Not once but twice you almost ripped my head completely off my shoulders when you simply buried me in my first ever main event appearance. I was shaken to say the least…it was take night that I’ve realised that the only person that will ever give a damn about me is Sienna.
And that is why I willingly do what she commands for I know that she has supported all my actions since day one…but why should you care Guv’nor? All probably thinking when looking at me is ‘I want to knock this fucking chick’s head off’ and I don’t blame you for unlike everyone else, even Sienna herself, I’ve managed to do the one thing that nobody thought was possible…I’ve gotten into your head dear Guv’nor.”
With each word she spoke the man’s expression slowly began to show more fear as he wonders what the purple haired lady planning to do. Once she said her last few words Robina’s hand stopped stroking his scalp and tightly gripped onto it, forcing him to look directly into her eyes.
“A couple of Meltdowns ago you tried to make the show all about yourself only for me to knock you unconscious with a crowbar…I won’t lie…I enjoyed the sight of your body as it laid lifelessly against the mat, even more so when I know that I caused your lifelessness…but what I enjoyed the most about it is that nobody else has ever done that to you before Lenny. In the months you’ve been here for nobody could take you down and everyone in the crowd thought you were simply invincible…until I nearly beheaded you. For the very first time the stupid children who cheered your name realised that you weren’t some hero, but instead nothing more than a common bum.
They wanted you to get back up, fight back and kick my ass but none of that happened because all you could see, hear or feel was nothing. Did I do a bad thing? Probably…have I made myself the most hated megastar on Meltdown? Most likely…but did I regret any of that? No I didn’t; if anything seeing the little boy in the front row, wearing his Guv’nor t-shirt and his ‘Made In Hackney’ armbands, in tears while screaming out your name was simply the icing on the cake.”
Her words were slow but her gaze was colder than the snow they are in as she didn’t blink for a single moment. Once the pale woman finished her words the stranger expected her to maliciously attack him so he was understandably surprised when she simply let go of him, got up and walked off. After a few seconds of pure silence the male guessed that Miss Hood has disappeared so he sighed lightly and slowly sat himself up…only to suddenly having some string tugging at the front of his neck. His hands moved up against the string, so it wouldn’t choke him, and looked over his shoulder to see that not only is there a bow around his neck but Robina Hood was the one who somehow managed to put it on him, evidenced by the fact that she is still holding onto the wooden side of the bow. Yet again he is worried about his safety as the purple haired dynamo lean her head over his right shoulder and began to talk directly into his ear.
“Hell the beat down I gave you the following week was just as good since not just once but twice I showed the world how weak their hero truly was. If I had any regrets it was probably that I didn’t finish you off…yet this Sunday, in a steel cage match at Mayhem, I’ll get the golden opportunity to finish you off once and for all. But don’t be quick in finding excuses Guv, this steel cage match isn’t just for me you know; unlike me, you are quite experienced in not only bare knuckle fighting but also experienced at surviving on the streets of London…so while the cage benefits my style of hurting people, it also supports your way of fighting. So there will be no interference…no Jennings, Pepsi or Speede…no brass knuckles…no samurai swords…no crowbars…and definitely no Sienna Harrison.
This is not just some simple cage match for the North American Championship…this is not even a match…it is a fight. Not a fight between The Guv’nor and Robina Hood…but a fight between Lenny Lansbury and Megan Mc-no…a fight between Lenny Lansbury and Megan Bennett. This fight won’t simply end with one of us escaping the cage but when one of us can’t fight anymore. I don’t actually think that the word ‘fight’ is worthy of the title of our confrontation…war might be a closer word…hell, no joke intended but I see our war being the true source of mayhem at the Mayhem event. And the reason for this is that it’s so bloody personal between the two of us…we’ve had your fun, we’ve had our games but in a few days time, in front of the people of Rio de Janeiro, we’re going to destroy, maim and kill each other. And honestly, I couldn’t have it any other way.”
After every few lines Robina pulled back on her bow a tiny bit, as if testing the man’s resolve to not being strangled by the bowstring, each word sounding more and more serious. The stranger did however feel the Iron Maiden’s shudder a bit when she spoke of her maiden name, not trying to fight back in fear of any sudden strangle attempts. When the shudder ease over Miss Hood became more aggressive with her words and the way she whispered out her final nine words sent chills down this man’s spine. Immediately after those words Robina used her bow to force the original aggressor onto his feet, ignoring the fact that he was struggling to breathe while doing so. But before he could do anything she pushed him towards a tree, the very same tree he tried to trapped her against earlier, and instantly turned him around to face her. Yet the forcefulness of the spin and push has pressed the wooden part of the bow against his throat, so the black haired male can’t do anything else but feebly try to make sure that the bow doesn’t completely crush his throat.
“Talking about killing each other…don’t you remember what happened last time we were so close to each other that I could feel your breath upon my skin? Oh wait, how forgetful of me…you probably don’t remember any of that since you were out cold. So just let me recall what I said the last time we were this close to each other…tick tock, the end of your title reign is nigh. Tick tock, the end of your career is nigh. Tick tock, when the clock stops I’ll be your demise. Tick tock, because I shall kill your career…quite a nice little poem isn’t it? Its simple, effective as the ending moments of Meltdown and every single word of it is completely true. Your reign as North American Champion is coming to an end, your career is coming to an end…because at Mayhem, inside the steel cage, the clock will stop and I’ll become the twenty first century Jack The Ripper while you’ll become the person I’ll butcher. I did say a few weeks ago, in that very haiku, that I will kill your career…and I don’t just mean leaving you as a broken man for the third time.
Mayhem will still mark the day that your reign dies Lenny…but I don’t mean simply putting an end to your Meltdown career, like I did to that piece of trailer trash Amy Zing. I want to light a cigarette and shove it deep into your eyes just to see you burn into blindness. I want to wrap chicken wire tightly around your shins and ankles only to see you squirm so much that the doctors will need to amputate them just to save your miserable life. I want to force your mouth open and pour thumbtacks down it just to see you bleed from the inside. I did say I want to kill your career but it won’t be just your Meltdown career…BUT YOUR ENTIRE FUCKING CAREER!”
Even with his life threatened the male was trying his damn hardest to keep calm but that incredibly loud, high pitch, scream shook him quite a bit as thoughts of ‘oh god help me’ and ‘please don’t hurt me’ became crystal clear upon his face.
“Do you want to know why? Why I attacked you twice in two weeks? And why I’m so fucking obsessed with killing you? No spoilers…you’ll find out this Sunday Guv…but wait, why should I wait until then…when I have you right here?”
Her once demonic expression was immediately replaced with an angelically innocent one when she continued to speak. Robina was purposely slower with her words than before as, while her left hand still pressed against the bow, her right hand reached into a slight gap in the coat and pulled out an arrow. She clutched onto the arrow tightly and pointed it towards the male’s left eye as she was about to finish off her words. Once she finished them she slammed the arrow forwards and…a big flash, almost as if lightning as just struck the area. The flash departed just as quickly as it arrived and standing there by the tree is Robina Hood, the bow still pressed against the tree while the arrow has fully penetrated the wood…yet the stranger is nowhere to be seen. Where did he go? It was almost as if he was never there as all that could be heard was the her deep breathing. She slowly turned her head towards the camera recording her and didn’t waste much time in getting away from the tree and towards the camera. She instantly grabbed the camera and held it near her face before speaking out for a final time.
“I was a coward but no more…goodbye yesterday…this Sunday starts the rest of my life…and I’ll begin it by beating you for my North American Title, Guv’nor.”
Her words were soft and gentle, almost as if she is talking to a friend, and after finishing those very words the young Brit smiled beautifully towards the camera before simply walking pass it, leaving the snowy scene as the last thing seen before the footage fades out to black.
