Sampson wrote his bit for the segment. It is a great show I enjoyed it a lot, so many teasers to endings had me on the edge lol.
EDIT: I didn't see Sampson's name my bad

I wrote a segment. I'm sure I saw some Gooch/Envi related segments too.
I'll post my full feedback tomorrow when I've read the show in full. I've got to the start of the Kash v Bailey match and so far it has been an enjoyable read.

I enjoyed the show over all. Definitely the one hitter quitter to control a brand match. That was sweet.
Tommy & Niobe tried but we beat them. I HOPE I can keep that up and win a few more in the future. Great show by everyone but the coding in the ME was off. Thought ya'll should know.

Rundown of the show, nothing too deep. ....................
-- I wanted and expected more from the Suicidal Match. I can see sitting out of a match for a TV Show but a PPV and one of the competitors doesn't enter till towards the end just didn't feel right for a PPV. Still congrats to KJE and it was a well written match, AJP getting tied up was awesome spot though so it had some ehh conditions but still pulled the proper punches when it counted.
-- I laughed at how quick Reaver goes from choking Hopkins to acting like he's done nothing and playing then eating a cockroach. He was the Ninja of The Night! Made me laugh.
-- Havok and Smith was a good match, solid but it lacked a certain something. The rps were very close and I could get behind another round between these two. I think they brought the best out of each other to be honest and until Smith and Envi get at each other again, Havok is a very good match for Smith. Gives prestige to the Xtreme Title more than ever in my opinion.
-- Jace and Sampson is fun because they're real friends, since 3rd grade even! So these guys came here and have put in work to kick of their APW careers and so I liked they did something even not being on the show itself. Big fan of them both.
-- Lively is a stud, he's a little Foul at times but that's part of his charm! Him and Christian Kane would be an awesome rivalry! I liked Mannie's interaction with Lively in this segment. They mixed well together and could turn into a good little thing if they chose to go that route.
-- It's a shame Niobe got her rp in right after deadline. Not sure if it even counted but the match was pretty good. I was pulling for KnoxVILLE to take the win but if his partner's promo didn't count, it was pretty clear how the match would end. Roberts with the comments made above made me laugh but I am not reviewing comments made. Hopefully this match happens again and they both get the things they want to really sell the rivalry.
-- I didn't like the TapOut Title match. Maybe it was TJ leaving but the match seemed rushed, thrown together. Congrats to Logan though.
-- Ellis is cool but the renaming of names thing is kind of petty. It's like making shit up to say about someone. There is just too much information to use against people to resort to this but he seems to do it not because it's all he has but almost to degrade someone's name. I feel he uses it as his own and not out of the petty side of it so it felt legit for the character.
-- I hope people liked Kash Vs. Bailey. I tried giving us a Classic to fit the year long build we've kind of had. Hope it did the job. I really enjoyed writing it.
-- The Gov'nor is really becoming a badass character. He's really taking hold of the character and making people forget Jules Farquhar ever even existed. I really enjoy the back and forth him and Sienna have together. Great pairing for segments.
-- I was really pulling for Gooch here. Not that Envi isn't...well ENVI but Gooch works his tail off to impress and carry his own weight. Does a damn good job at doing so as well. Great match though, one of the better ones of the night. You'll get there Gooch man! You've got fans rooting for you..
-- I think it's a damn shame to see CJ Gates almost overlooked every time he's involved with a big match. The guy is the APW Classic to me. He was what was hot and bright and nobody touched him. He's lost nothing so I'm always looking for his next splash. It has to be coming, just has too...I liked the segment though, seemed he was seeing this as a tight rope and he needed to find his way across. Strong moment for Gates.
-- The NA Title match showcase two great talent. Robina has a chance to be what Sally Talfourd was to APW in her day now. She is a great talent that needs a strong feud to really give her attention. I even liked the No Contest ending, it gives more hope for furthering the storyline. Which helps both sides here and Meltdown altogether.
-- NOOOO!!! Reginald got SMASHED! I sat with a blank stare for a second before I realized it wasn't a joke. I did some laughing and realized how much further this storyline can go. Should be tons of entertaining, Raabies is turning into one hell of a Entertainer in APW. Good to have around.
-- Main Event was cool, I would like to know if Level One even knew of the new members. On screen it wouldn't seem so, like they said in the segment earlier, it was almost predictable. Alot of power in that group now. In the end it almost hurts Logan and Kane more than anyone else. Maybe I'm wrong though, maybe we'll see it play out better as the time passes. I'd like to see L1's involved in this if any because fuck us all if this is the unit that will run through APW.
Hopefully this feedback can go off without too many complaints or responses to defend this or that. It's interpretation and it's my right to have my own. Great show. I also want to give a big shout out to all of those who stopped in on the Chat throughout the day. That meant alot to me and I appreciated being apart of it. We need to do more stuff together, it's a process of healing. Thanks.

(World Title Feedback)
-- I HATE Level One! He comes in like a thief in the night and just TAKES shit...That beautiful man...Great match! I mean it, outstanding. Well worth the wait even. I'd have waited a few more days for that read. The 3 man Powerbomb was a fantastic spot! There were so many of them. Level One should be happy with this match, the ending made me want to punch a wall because I had JUST said I wanted to see a CJ Gates splash and you stole that from me! It's like I love you but I'm really mad too and giving that emotion to even one reader means you did amazing stuff there.

Suicidal Triple Threat. Interesting dynamic in the match, and the write-up was good in terms of protecting AJP ahead of T4TB and a deserved challenge towards a UT shot. The finish works out well because I didn’t think this match would be the end of Kane v KJE.
Xtreme Title. Good match, had a traditional hardcore match feel to it. Not so much storytelling in this one, but a complete spot fest and it had pretty much everything you want to see in these types of matches. Good win for Smith that surely makes him one of the favourites in the Overdrive T4TB bracket.
Tornado Tag Match. The writing well captured the chaos and frenetic nature of this kind of match. It’s a good win for NBK, and the finish came out of nowhere, which was a nice surprise. Also, kudos to the match writer for not overly labouring this one. This is no disrespect to anyone in the match, but since this was essentially a mid-card match with no major title on the line, and you feel still plenty of gas left to burn in this one, the length was perfect.
Tap Out/KO Title. I was curious how TJ would be handled, and I’m glad the character was used to put over both Young Mannie and Williams. It looks a bit like a burial, but it’s one where the outgoing character is treated with some respect (because he retains sympathy as a face who got blindsided, while Mannie gets douche bag heel heat), and if the day comes when TJ returns he’s got something to work with.
Williams is out early, but I think he gets a big rub by being the guy who ‘saves’ TJ. Plus, there’s plenty here to suggest Williams/Mannie feud has still got a proper, full length match in it.
Mannie exits in somewhat tame circumstances, but still he comes out of this match looking good what with the destruction of TJ, the KO of Williams, and getting in a good bit of offense on Lively.
Good, if brief, tussle between Lively and Alexander. I like the emphasis on the sleeper again, that’s good continuity, and the finishing spot was PPV quality. I wouldn’t mind seeing a full re-match of this one if neither of them is part of the T4TB finals.
Kash v Bailey. So far this is my match of the night. It has it all: the intense rivalry, the bloody revenge each man wants against the other, the emotions, the violent spots. Even some of the brutish things Bailey does are justified because of the level and depth of animosity between these two characters. This for me was a Rasslemania level match because it has been building for so long. It was the match I was anticipating and expecting the most from, and it delivered on all fronts. RPs aside I am glad Kash won. Nothing against Bailey because he is Asylum’s C.J. and a stellar act. However, Bailey had his tag thing going on and Kash deserves a new singles push. Also, it’s 1-1 now, so it leaves open a decisive rubber down the line (maybe Rasslemania X if both are still around). If Bailey had won there would be nothing left in this. As it is, we got the desired situation, but neither man really comes out of this looking weak. They beat the living crap out of each other.
Overdrive Title. Excellent that did everything I expected it to do: set-up Evan Envi as a genuine T4TB contender, but also build Buckson Gooch as a guy who belongs at this level. I’m glad Gooch is given the big rub here (especially that handshake at the end), and there is plenty he can take out of this match. I see no reason for this to be a shameful loss, or a match that doesn’t elevate Buckson Gooch. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this was the Overdrive T4TB semi-final, draw dependent.
World Heavyweight match. It’s weird when you start reading a match and know there will be a new champion. Nevertheless the match wasn’t short on drama. Some great spots: C.J.’s powerbomb on Delikado; the three LCTC and Deli trying to pin everyone; Callahan and Deli kickout out of the Darkness Shine at the same time, to name just a few. I like an extended false finish and this match felt like one big false finish after the other, and every one felt like it could be the genuine finish (even if the ref was counting very slow, lol).
The actual finish was, well, different. However, it gives a clear direction for the WHC, and Level-One vs Gates at T4TB makes sense given the meaning of that PPV in both men’s career. Congrats to Level-One on becoming only the second person to hold Undisputed and World Heavyweight Titles, and the first male character.
Raab’s win caught me by surprise, but I understand now having read Meltdown.
Undisputed Match. High standard as we’ve come to expect from matches involving Terry and Saint. I think the involvement of the NEW SINDICATE was the defining and lasting feature of this match. My tastes would have preferred a cliffhanger about the involvement of CK, AJP and LA, with Terry’s announcement being made at the start of the next Asylum rather than to close the show.
Overall, another successful PPV for APW. The face of the brand is changing with a lot of big losses in the past couple of months. However, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and although individuals will be missed, it opens opportunities for others. Moving forward I think Level-One/C.J. success was important with Callahan departing, that was an anchor Overdrive needed. Until the next gen of top-line talent is pushed through T4TB, this is the feud that needs to be at the top of Overdrive.
I’m also intrigued to see whether Terry’s NEW SINDICATE is merely an expansion of the existing group, or rather a splinter group. Look forward to it.

This was an interesting PPV. I think the combination of knowing TJ was leaving to expecting Callahan to be leaving (or taking a leave) and then the scattered no shows made it an interesting feel. Was still a great PPV, but it was interesting. I enjoyed the Suicidal title match, and like Jules mentioned, it does a lot to keep KJE/Kane going while allowing AJP to gracefully step aside and move on to the Undisputed title. Did a lot to show everything going on between the three and I even liked those moments when AJP and CK kind of went toe to toe for brief moments. Was disappointed by the Pepsi/Speede match. I mean, I know it didn't happen because of other matters, but it was so well built up that...I don't know. I guess I really wanted to see what they did. Smith vs. Havok was as brutal as it should have been given those involved. Nice to see Smith retain in a hard fought battle with Havok. I might have liked Havok to win, to allow Smith to move on, but, if TFTB has taught me anything, it's that it doesn't matter what title you have/don't have, you can still win the tournament. NBK vs. Iron Nightmare. Good tag team match. Nice to see more tag teams in the fed, though it seems like when the tag teams get drafted, they stop tag teaming. Hopefully this doesn't happen to these ones, since both could be a good little addition to the title picture. Nice win for NBK, too. The Tap Out title also left me a bit disappointed. I guess I assumed that the match would be hotly contested, but it seemed like (due to TJ leaving and WDW and Mannie not getting stuff up for awhile) that it was a two horse race. Nice to see it come down to the two of them in the end and congrats to Logan on the title win. Kash vs. Bailey was awesome. It's always great to see bitter rivals involved in a match like this, with both looking to take out the other. It makes it that much more...engrossing because it seems to capture you as a reader. Nice win by Kash, but I think this is just the tip of the iceberg before a Foul Play vs. Dying Breed title match and maybe 6 man tag feud, officially. The Overdrive title match was well written and it went a long way to giving both men in the match a good rub. Envi comes out looking like the unstoppable Overdrive champion, and Gooch comes out looking like a great competitor who nearly got the title. The hand shake at the end helped, and Gooch definitely has stuff to go off of from here. I enjoyed the false finish in the North American title match. Hell, this match alone seemed to do a lot to give the title some credibility (not that it didn't have it already) and made it seem like Hood would win. However Guv'Nor pulls it out and continues to dominate, but hopefully this isn't the last we see of the two and hopefully Hood can get that belt from him. Props to Level One for the World Heavyweight Title match. Worth the wait and was well written. Lots of great spots (I was partial to the hurricarana off the top rope to the outside ) and it sold all three characters well. Hopefully it leads to something more between Gates and Level One, otherwise that ending is going to suck lol (reminds me of the near win at Shockwave I had last year...maybe it's me lol). Worst was I legit thought I won and then it said Level One and I shook my fist at the computer. Damn you Level One! And Congratulations on the win. Raabs win was very quick and...I guess fitting. I never thought it would actually happen, but I guess, as Jules eluded to, it makes sense given Meltdown. I just wonder if it will be a one off thing or if it will stretch into an actual feud into TFTB. I was really pulling for Keaton here, and after having read the RPs, I thought he might have an edge. However, I guess it's tough to beat Marv when he's on. Nevertheless, it was a great match and I wouldn't be against another Marv/Keaton classic for the big title. Overall, it was a great PPV and a great read. Like I said, it seemed off, but I think that's because there were a a few things that were already known going into the show. The only thing I will add is...why can't the RPs get up earlier? I know, I'm going to catch flak for this, but it just seemed that with 2 weeks to RP, having the majority of RPs go up in the last 2 days doesn't seem right. Maybe it's because I put a self deadline on one RP a week for events like this, but it makes writing that second RP hard when you have nothing to go off of. And it's not just this PPV, it's been a fair number of them (or at least where my match is concerned, so i notice it then). Posting in the last 2-3 days doesn't give your opponents a lot of time to respond or use your RP for inspiration. I found my second RP a bit harder, trash talk wise, because all the stuff I wanted to touch on was already touched on. I guess it's nothing that can really be dealt with, just maybe something for people to consider. Regardless, still a great show. Props to the match writers, and to the segment writers. A lot of segments were done to further characters and in some cases, feuds. Wasn't really shocked with the new Sindicate, but it makes sense. Wonder what will happen since 4 Sindicate members are on Asylum and L1 is on Overdrive. Good luck to everyone at Test for the Best!

Technically it's 2-1 Bailey now. He beat me before he took the World Title from me. So to be fair here, he was 2-0 against me going into this. Yes I fully expect and WANT him in T4TB if at all possible. I want to meet him in that Tournament and seek to even things up!!

It maybe a touchy subject because people will say the rules say such and such, and if you're in before deadline and avoiding the '2 in the last 12 hours' rule technically you're not doing anything wrong. Probably sounds a bit rich coming from me since I put my Rps up in the last 3 days, but I always try to get them in early. I always look at Michael Lively and want to give him a pat on the back because he ALWAYS puts his work up early. But unless the rules change, unfortunately, the pattern will always remain the same.

I was getting them early as well for a long time but it just got tiring when I'd end up with 2 posted before some people did 1 until deadline approaches or both come right before deadline. Maybe have a "Only 1 Rp in a 24 Hour Period of Deadline" I dunno but we could figure it out, not my place to make rule changes but I Co-Sign this being something that could at least be better.

No. CJ: Me and Leon don't have plans to break up any time soon. It was more a comment about how there are necessarily as many tag teams on the other brands, and therefore not as much tag team wrestling and the teams get booked in singles matches/feuds with others...Though I guess, if there's one team that would survive the draft, it would be the NBK. Definitely a team that should be able to stay solid.

OK, here's my feedback, as promised (sorry it's a day later than anticipated!).
All in all, I think we needed a high-quality show given everything that's gone down OOC of late, and I think that's what we got. Before I break things down match by match, kudos to everyone who played big and small parts in putting Mayhem together. Job well done by everyone.
Suicidal Championship match: Loved the use of AJP providing mid-match commentary, and her jumping in when she did played into her character very well. It also made KJE prevailing a genuine feel-good moment, so well done there.
Xtreme Championship match: I dug it, and again, there were plenty of "face in peril" spots, which for sure plays off of Smith and Havok's characters well. I had an awesome time working with Havok for Mayhem, and I hope we have a chance to do it again down the road.
Tornado Tag match: Wasn't bad, and I did enjoy it, but the first few paragraphs of action being gigantic walls of text was a little disorienting. Maybe it's a style thing with me as a journalist, but I think it would have read a little bit smoother with shorter paragraphs. That's not a knock on the writer, and again, I feel it important to point out that I enjoyed the match, but it's just something I noticed.
Tap Out gauntlet: Agreed that this lost some juice when TJ left, but that's not a fault of the match writer or the people involved in it. Congrats to Logan on winning the title; he and I go all the way back to AWA in 2006, and I always like seeing people I've known for a long time do well.
Kash/Bailey: Great rivalry, and a really fun match to read. This had a definite main event feel to it, as both guys beat the living daylights out of each other. Extremely entertaining and very well-written.
Overdrive Championship: This was another exciting back-and-forth match that I really enjoyed. Plenty of near-falls that provided genuine intrigue into a match with two characters I have big-time interest in...and a handshake? Drama!
North American Championship: Cage matches can be very tricky to write. The escape stipulation can be used well or horribly. I have to admit, I wasn't crazy about the "Hart/Luger Royal Rumble" false ending where both wrestlers' feet hit the floor at the same time. However, the match as a whole was very well-written, and the ending provided an interesting twist as well.
World Heavyweight Championship: Such a chaotic match with four great characters who all would be more than worthy of carrying the strap. Great ending, too, one that sets up a possible L-1/CJ feud for the long-term.
Control of Asylum: You know, I may have expected a longer match, but the way it ended made total, complete sense. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
Undisputed Championship: Great match, but overshadowed by the bombshell that came at the end. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as we all know how good T-Marv, Saint, and Atkin are, but it did take some attention off the Undisputed title. I'm extremely intrigued by the New Sindicate, and this has the potential to be THE storyline in APW this summer.
