Opening of the show (skipping the dark match)
Hope people are enjoying what I am trying to do with EA. I am always trying to push the boundries of what's possible in this game.
Next the true opening of the show is Robina seg. I am not sure what to take this as. I don't believe the sincereity of this promo and think there is more malicious thinkgs waiting for the Guv.
Legions first draft pick. And interesting reaction.
Sienna segment has me interested. Where's Guv? Is he gonna show up? Will he be drafted? Good seg and quick to read.
Tag match- pretty quick match I thought. Nice seeing Yanzel and company get the win here. I htink the character has great potential.
kash Reaver seg: Good backstage promo reminded me of the old days when WWF let tag teams cut promos before going out to fight. I liked it. I am in their corner now.
Next up another character developing seg from me.
Red Scorpion segment. Interesting. If not for the jet pack lol this would really just come off as a Damian Sandow clone, but I am liking the sillyness of your character a lot. Well written match all of us looked good and fun win for Scorpion.
Nice brawl backstage. Honestly felt it was a little long. Think it was longer than the opening tag match, IMO that is kind of overkill.
final EA segment. Really trying to drive home a true superhero story arc here. With alibis and alter egos.
Good for Evan getting his draft.
I like KNox's stuff, he's a good heel. I want to see him fail. The character that is.
Bam Guv's in the house
was surprised that Reaver/Kash lost. Good win for NBK
Double count out was interesting, looking forward to the fallout
Warren seg-just so you know he's not gone and his story is still unfolding.
Really dig the shadow segment and its placement after Warren's two different people putting these guys over as scum bags.
I liked the jennings seg. The match was good too. DOn't get discouraged Ellis. You're doing well imo. and congrats to Jennings for the draft
(Man this is segment heavy)
couple more great segs from bailey/jair and Raab and Jeff. and OMG it's Biggs. looks like a fun one ahead for those two.
Good on KNox for his draft
really good tag match and win for the dying breed
interesting seg with Guv. Great decision for his draft future. Looking forward to what comes of this two week grace period too.

A few thoughts on my part. Nothing too in depth because I'm still working on read and feeding Mayhem.
I knew absolutely nothing about EA before the show (other than my quick scan of his profile to write the match), but I get the whole gimmick now. I like the style, it is believable in terms of production the way it has been written. Also, I apologise for completely no-selling this superhero gimmick in the match. I did kind of rush it at late notice, but I won't make that mistake again. Sorry Warren.
Interesting opening segment from Robina. The challenge caught me off guard too. In terms of OOC I'll let you know, I need to map out a few things, but if we can figure out a way to make it work right IC then I'm happy to do it.
Legion to Asylum. I think that's a good move for the handler given his OOC troubles with the regularity and length of RPing on Overdrive. IC I think Asylum is a good fit too. Good luck!
I've got to thank Evan for obliging me again this week with the Guv draft story, as well as filling in with some excellent segments that helped to build the drama a bit more.
London and Yanzel, a good win. I'm not alone in seeing these as two potential key players with the draft of some big personalities from Meltdown.
Kash/Reaver. My fave segment of the night. Like Warren said, it was a good old school feel and the promo was right on the money. Probably didn't need Anthony Bailey in it, but meh, personal preference I guess.
Good rub for NBK with this win. Plus being first blood Foul Play comes out looking strong still. Well done to NBK on their Overdrive draft too. Meltdown will miss you guys, but Overdrive earns two hard-working, committed, exciting studs. Good job.
Well done Evan McDonald. The draft is well-earned because you've been a consistent performer for months. I would still like to see a segment every now and then however because I think the playboy character has the potential for some, light-hearted stuff.
I like the Jennings character, I like the way it has been built up over weeks. However, I don't understand the rationale for the image change. It seems odd to me a guy who doesn't care about material things altering his image to something conventional and clean cut. Why would he care what people think, or want to 'fit in'? Maybe this is the start of something more, but its suddenness feels strange to me.
Anyway, good win over Ellis Graham. It's sad that Ellis/Kid has gone out the way he has after some brilliant work to elevate the Ellis character in such a short time, but these things happen. Life goes on, the APW bandwagon keeps on rolling.
Solid heel promo from Tommy Knox. It really annoyed me smug he was, so you did your job well. I'm already wanting to see Jake Titan rag this guy about the ring again, lol. First match on Overdrive, maybe? T4TB qualifier?
Savage/Sampson goes to a no-contest. Hmm, not sure about this. I understand keeping the feud ticking over, but this is the second no contest/DQ finish I remember. I expect that decisive rubber to come sooner rather than later. Possible #1 contender's match?
Good Warren segment to not completely bury him, as well as further selling what Sang Real did. I like it when established dudes go out of the way to give the rub to a newcomer. Well done!
An extended promo from Shadow, but a good piece to not only cover why the match was missing from the card, but also hypes for the next show. It was a good trash talk, that once again gave Sang Real the rub because of its length. Take note, when writing a promo this is how you trash without totally burying your opponent.
I like TDB as individuals, but in their collective promos they always feel a bit holier-than-thou to me. I like this 'brotherhood' thing they have going on though, that's cool and really consolidates their identity as a faction, but sometimes in trying to sound like they are taking the higher road, they come across as a bit boastful (and the focus on Logan in this promo feels like heel mind games to me--- divide and conquer etc). There have been times when I have actually sympathised with AJP's rationale, but then maybe that owes more to the quality of her manipulation of the situation. I don't know, just an interpretation.
That was an interesting development in the Raab/Asylum angle. I wasn't sure whether the Raab being in charge could have been drawn out a bit further, but on second thought I think it makes sense for Raab, being the uber-douche, having his moment of celebration ruined. If he wasn't already, Biggs stepping in consolidates his face turn for certain. Form suggests Biggs will win and restore some order, but with the push Raab has been given in this direction I'm not ruling anything out.
Congrats to Tommy on his draft to Overdrive. He may have to keep an eye on his bird though.
Excellent main event, Evan delivers again. It's a good win for TDB, and with most tag teams now being heel(ish) I think having strong face champs to shoot at is a good thing. Also, it opens questions about how and whether M & M operate with that name under the NEW SINDICATE banner. Certainly with Logan being TO champ, and AJP deserving a top-line singles push dropping out of the tag division for a while makes sense.
Overall I enjoyed this show. It was segment heavy yes, but plenty of matches to break it up. Not one segment really felt superfluous either, and it had that SUPERSHOW feel with big matches and big action around the scenes. Good work!

My whole idea is that Michael's father Trevor is a major hypocrite. He's a conservative Tea Party type of guy that talks about how bad premarital sex and drinking is on TV before going out to get drunk and bang hookers in his apartment. Michael by contrast is against the rich snobs of society and thinks everyone is a hypocrite. To mirror his father's hypocrite type of character Michael is what he hates just like his father, basically a rich guy who is what he talks about hating on television.

Regardless, Props to NBK for putting down the heat for this match. And I apologize for not putting more attention towards it. You earned it though and I am a fan of NBK for the work they do.

Certainly didn't mean to. I was reading through and taking notes during work last night. It was a good match. and no worries Jules I enjoyed the match all the same. Wow, that sounds so bland. Thank you =/ Dude I really hope that you're joking here. It's hard to tell given that it isn't written clearly as such, nor does it have a hint or sarcasm or emoticion. I work minimum 13 hours a day. Maximum 18, all shifts. I rarely see my wife and child. And when I do have a day off the wife works. Yet I always, make the time to get an rp up. I may not always get a segment, and I removed myself from the title picture because of that. And do graphics, and I took my character a former champion of his brand and put over a brand new untested tag team. I am the definition of team player. But I do what what I can, which includes giving you tons of feedback every time that your panties are bunched up from not "winning" an imaginary wrestling match. Between Friday and 8 pm tonight I will have worked 37 hours. I haven't seen my daughter since Friday Morning, I have seen my wife for less than an hour. Yet last night I was up til 2 am doing an rp. So you know what man? I am not sorry for accidentally excluding your match from my feedback. Feedback that I wrote while on the clock at work and risking termination in doing so. And I am not sorry that when I did compliment it, that it was, apparently "Too bland" for your liking. Tough titties man. And I will remember this rudeness the next time I see another one of you "What am I doing wrong" threads and will keep my polite and encouraging feedback to myself. You do know that feedback is a give and take right? I seem to always be giving it, and never really have any given back. My last thread about my new character had 3 people read it, one person dislike the post, and no one respond with any feedback. I didn't bitch about it until now, because of this rudeness, but it's been noted, and this will probably be my last visit to this section of boards.
