APW superstar Michael Jennings caused his own uproar today that relates to the controversy earlier regarding Sienna Harrison, London Carter, and Jerry Matthews. Michael is siding with Harrison and Matthews on this issue which has caused a rift in the APW fanbase. When asked about it, Michael had this to say.
"I'm all for free speech and telling it like it is. Besides I've seen more from Jerry Matthews in one week than from London Carter since he's been here. London doesn't want to be the best and doesn't care about succeeding. All he cares about is attention whereas Matthews has taken some initiative and kicked ass. Also there's been some complaints about some of things Matthews as well as a few things that I have said in the past few weeks. Well there's a thing in this country called free speech and if you don't like it tough shit because people are going to continue to use free speech like Matthews has like it or not. Whining and complaining about it on Twitter like a little bitch is not the way to handle this. If you can't take the heat, get the hell out of APW because you can't handle it here. Handling heat and derogatory comments with tough responses is how the best manage things. Only the weak complain instead of standing up for themselves. So, that said, I'm on the side of free speech in this case and if the fans don't like it then so be it."
His comments on the matter clarifying his commentary actually garnered a positive response from the fans considering Michael's no nonsense attitude and straight talking style are considered normal for him.
This isn't the only news that Michael has been making this week. He has been revealed to be in a relationship with one of APW's newest superstars Catherine Jewel and it's gotten serious enough to the point where the two are moving in together. Jewel is said to be going to Overdrive with Michael for his big match against Amy Zing this week. Surely more will be seen from APW's newest couple in the weeks and months to come.
