Hi there! Overdrive General Manager Alexander Duvall here, and have I got a HELL of a treat in store for you folks this week. What better way for a show to be at Dallas Cowboy Stadium. Who needs PPVs when you have Duvall running Overdrive?
Second Chance Battle Royal
Winner gets a spot in the First round of Test for the Best
AC Smith vs. Buckson Gooch vs. Jake Titan vs. Leon Roberts vs. Michael Jennings vs. Dan White
Your general manager is a very forgiving and courteous. For those of you who were unable to win your qualifying matches due to pure ineptitude, I have allowed you the opportunity to make amends. Win this battle royal and you’re back in. Lose, and I’ll simply write you off as a lame horse and forget you ever existed. Ta-Ta!
Tag Team Turmoil
Delikado & Nathaniel Havok vs. Biggs and Amy Zing
These four have all qualified for Test for the Best, but they’ll have to wait till Next Week to see if they move on to the event. Instead they’ll get a little taste of their opponents here! Biggs has shown he can bounce back even when counted out for so long. Amy Zing is resilient and has more than made her mark here in APW though true success is still elusive. Delikado and Havok are newly found members of the League, and while I don’t have high hopes for their doomed little group, I do like the competitors themselves. Who will get the upperhand going into round one?
Overdrive Title Match
Evan Envi© vs. Johnny Rebel
That’s right, Alexander Duvall makes the big matches. No need to wait for a PPV. Evan Envi declared war on me and the Sindicate when he formed the League. Well, an extraordinary wrestler he MIGHT be, but can he beat the former 2 time Overdrive Champion? I think not. Johnny Rebel will END his reign! Even should know better than the fight back against the man with the power.
MAIN EVENT
World Heavyweight Championship Match
Level One© vs. C.J. Gates
The finish at Mayhem was controversial, so I think these two need another go to decide once and for all who is the World Heavyweight Champ. This has absolutely nothing to do with punishment for Level One turning his back on the SIndicate who may or may not have been directly responsible for my appointment as Overdrive General Manager. Either way… I’m giving you a free world title match on television. Yes, Yes, I can feel your love now!
