After months of plying his trade on Meltdown Evan has moved up to the big leagues as he was drafted to Asylum during the course of the Meltdown Supershow, now that Evan has moved on to the big leagues and left his former partner Elis Graham in the dust he can now focus on one thing; single’s gold! And he had such an opportunity on his first ever Asylum Match.
He was taking on Christian Kane and Legion in the opening contest of the night which was a match in the Test for the Best Tournament, Evan wants to kick off his Asylum career with a bang and what better way to do that than to beat an established star like Christian Kane and a fellow newcomer like Legion? In any case Evan has to win in his mind.

When you work your way up from the bottom, people take notice, just ask any of the thousands of women I’ve slept with, that’s exactly what I have done since joining APW, I got stuck on Meltdown for far too long putting on far superior matches then any of those so-called “Main Eventers” could hope to put on! So when I was drafted to Asylum at the last Meltdown Supershow to be graced by my movie star good looks, well, people took notice.
To the point where I am competing in the opening round of Asylum’s Test for the Best Tournament against Christian Kane and Legion, some things just come to you and I’m not talking about the two women that are currently feeling me up, when you are as rich and powerful and good looking as I am opportunities frequently knock at my door!
At the moment I am enjoying the luxuries afforded to me by my promotion, I was already wealthy off course but with the promotion came fancier hotels, better room service and, if you can believe it, sexier women! Off course I’ll have to dismiss them soon for business so I am enjoying them whilst I can.
“Now, now, ladies, don’t crowd there’s plenty of me to go around.” I said with a laugh as I took a sip of the wine, I looked at the two women and grinned, I couldn’t help but wonder just how much better things will get when I move to Overdrive. “If I had known that the local women where this beautiful I would’ve moved to Louisiana long ago!” I added and the girls giggled, off course I say that to every woman I meet no matter where I am but what can I say? It’s an effective pick up line.
“And Asylum wrestlers are so strong and handsome!” The woman to the left of me, a busty brunette who may as well be wearing a bra, that’s how short her top is, said as she felt me up. “Is there anything we could do to….prepare you for the match?”
“Yes, I’m sure there’s something we can do.” The other woman, a busty red-head who was somehow wearing less clothes than the Brunette, said as the feeling up got more…..intimate to say the least, but alas business always comes before pleasure.
“Unfortunately ladies, there is something you must learn about me and before you ask, I’m not gay, I don’t have an STD nor do want to wait until marriage, for one thing I’d be a forty year old virgin if I was.” I said before pointing out the cameramen. “When the time comes for me to do a promo I always put business before pleasure, however if you wish you two can have some fun in my bedroom, I promise I’ll join you soon.” I added and the women grinned before going off to the bedroom, now that I had some time to myself I started addressing the camera.
“It’s like I have to introduce myself to a new audience all over again.” I said with a chuckle. “Asylum, I am Evan McDonald, Your Scottish Sensation, God’s Gift to Women and the man who will one day hold the top title in this company! And for my first match as part of the Asylum brand I am one of three participants in the Test for the Best Tournament opening contest, the other two being fellow Meltdown transferee Legion and established Megastar Christian Kane, seeing as how Christian is the only person to have taped a promo for this match before me I will address him first!”
Don’t worry Legion, I won’t forget you.
“Christian, you say that you don’t care, that you see this match as another way to show your dominance, there will only be one dominant force in this match and you’re looking at him! The fact that you don’t care and you openly admit it only means that you’ll be that much easier to defeat and if I don’t give you a reason to care about me when all is said and done then I am clearly not doing my job correctly!”
Next up is Legion.
“My name is Legion, for I am many, that is a quote from the Bible and whilst I don’t believe in that religious nonsense I am very familiar with that particular quote! Legion, you may be a fellow Meltdown draftee but when I am done with you, well, you will wish that you were still on Meltdown because that way you wouldn’t have to suffer at my hands but alas, life can be cruel sometimes!”
It’s really that simple.
“They call this the “Test for the Best” Tournament but I say there’s no need for such a test because we all know that I am the best wrestler on Asylum and Asylum made a very wise decision to draft me when they had the chance, I dare say that it was there business decision ever! Christian, Legion, there is only one route for you in this match and I’m afraid to say that it’s the path that will lead you to your defeats at my hands!”
Okay, I’m not afraid to say that!
“When I learned that I was being drafted to Asylum, well let’s just say that I started making plans! Plans that will take me to the very top of the APW ladder and if I must start those plans on Asylum then so be it! And if Christian Kane and Legion think for one second that they can get in my way then I have some very unfortunate news for you, you can’t, doing so would be career suicide!”
And now it’s time for me to say something important.
“Gentlemen, let me ask you something, do you think it’s easy to live my life-style? I am paying child support to god knows how many kids and as rich as I am I have to work this job to make sure I don’t run out of money! But as soon as I reach the top those kids will be the least of my worries! And the two of you won’t get in my way!”
And with that I decided to wrap things up, mostly because I can hear my lady friends moaning!
“Christian, Legion, you may not realize it but this Sunday you are stepping into the ring with a guaranteed legend in the making! I am off course talking about myself and I will begin my ascension to the top, the only obstacles right now are you two! This is “Your Scottish Sensation” and “God’s Gift to Women” Evan McDonald signing off for the first time as an Asylum Megastar!”
I went into the bedroom as the scene fades.
