The Shoot
It's no mistake that my grand debut last week on Meltdown was a complete and utter fluke. People have questioned yours truly, Mr Executive himself, Brian Hollywood's, most talked about loss. Let me try and put it in perspective for everyone. I was drugged. Plain and simple. I know, stupid right? No one would ever do such a cowardice act to a man. Well, it happened. Who's going to believe me though? Honestly, I don't expect anyone to.
You see, I used to be a very dishonest man. I used to do what ever it took to get myself to the top. Whether that was buy off the referees or blackmail an owner to gain myself control of a company. Yes, I have done some pretty cheap and below the belt moves. However, if it satisfied me in the end, it was good enough. I had the money and the knowledge to do what I needed to do. Here's the catch though..I turned away from that life. So I can easily see people looking at this story of mine and think I fabricated it. Truth is, though, it simply is that I say. I don't make excuses for myself. A loss is a loss and I move on. End of story. This, however, wasn't going to fly with me.
It's obviously apparent that some here in APW doesn't want me to succeed. I couldn't possibly tell you who that would be because I don't know many that dwell in this company. I've seen some familiar faces, but for the most part, all of them are fresh faces. Faces like Damien Gargano.
Gargano, I've seen some of your work. Impressive. I gotta say, your last match wasn't exactly all that impressive either. None the less, I'm not going to take you lightly. That is the first mistake any wrestler makes in their opponents. They underestimate them. I am not like that. I'm the guy who is going to study every aspect of your in ring skills and use them to my advantage. I'm a strategist. I see your moves in the ring so I can carefully plot mine. Make no mistake about it though Gargano, I'm no pushover either. While I may not underestimate you, that doesn't mean I don't plan on winning this match. I plan on winning by any means necessary, legal of course.
I plan on making a strong impact here in APW. I understand there is foundation to be built in any company you start fresh in. It's no different here in APW than it was in my time over in HOW or PWX. You got to start somewhere, but it's how you make an impact that gets you over quickly. It's about doing all the right things. I'm a three time world champion and I'm not going to do anything different than I have before in obtaining a world championship.
This week on Meltdown, I will show you Gargano why people are already talking about me. I'm not just another nobody in this business. I have come aboard APW and I've already generated tons of hype. Just imagine what I'll be doing another month from now. I give people things to talk about and this week will be no different. Come time for Meltdown, I will show you just how yours truly, Mr. Executive himself, gets it done. It will be nothing short of an Executive Promise. You can bank on that one!
Both of us are looking to bounce back from losses sustained in our last outings against our opponents. However, only one of us can get back on the winning path. I regret to inform you though, Gargano, your going to have to wait yet another week to find yourself out of your lofty suck fest you have found yourself in.
There can be only one winner this week and that will be me. So I hope your ready Gargano, because you have met your match this week and it will be nothing short of sweet. You can bet that as an Executive Promise!
