Also, no matter what happened last night to stop the kill, I think it's a bad idea to try and push anyone in to trying to explain it. Even peeps with info, I think it's always best to try and gather intel in the background rather than burst out with it after the first day. |

Going by what I've seen there's got to be someone who knows something. If this keeps up the person who made the coding error will get my vote if that tells you anything.

I think Atken's behaviour is a deliberate ploy to distract. I gave info, but no-one seemed interested. Anyway, I've got good reason to believe Atken's death would be beneficial for the town. You can take that at face value or choose to ignore it.

My concern with Atken is that for the most part he has just been clowning, and not posting anything of a serious note, but as Jennings and Marv have pointed out so far there's been a lot of banter going on. Plus my concerns with Atken have lessened after his last few posts as at least he started offering something more than humor. I still don't really see enough to throw a vote down on anyone.

That'd be the ticket there. Still, thinking on it, I think he's more caught up on the idea of who and what he thinks my character is. The way I read Jules' post originally, I thought he was claiming outside information about my role (information that I don't even have to be honest with you) but really, I think he's just lead via conjecture so I'm wrong to take a hostile attitude towards him. I'll just add, to kill off part of your theory Jules, me posting "not scum" is not linked to the role that at all (being I don't even know it) and more due to the fact I am an aloof dick. Really, I'm not seeing much today apart from a little bit of posturing from a few folks as trying to appeal as town leader, which is no hint of alignment because it is just as likely to be a town action as scum. Beyond that, slightly suspect of some of the people trying to push roles to out info this early but I haven't played mafia here or anywhere else for ages so I dunno if people have been yelled at enough about why this is a bad thing. Still, there's time yet to see how these develop and if I'm wrong about Jules and he claims his vote is based on fact and not baseless conjecture on his character assumptions, then I get to yell at him for being a liar, so that'll be fun. |

What Jules did looks scummy, yes. But if he WERE scum, I HIGHLY doubt he'd be trying to make himself look scummy. Am I going to vote with him? No. I just see it as Atken being Atken right now.

As I said in my bundle of words, it's more likely he thinks he worked out my character and worked out what my role might be, tried to put 2 and 2 together and got a souffle, which I can confirm as a Mathematics teacher is very difficult indeed. Nothing really implicating from his actions.

Ok guys, I did get information from my night action, important info, but couldn't reveal it without outing myself, so I didn't want to reveal it yet. However, from the writeup it sounds like mafia spotted me doing my thing last night, and I can't risk getting offed without revealing it, so consider me outed.
I'm a cop, and last night I copped Matt Stone, and he came up as 3rd party Mason. So...

While I don't consider him a crucial threat at this point, like I said, I couldnt sit on this if there was even a chance that the mafia knew my role, but now everyone does. Besides, if we lynch Stone today, and since noone died last night, we should be in a decent spot even if mafia kills me tonight.

My posts are not based on conjecture, nor were they role-fishing. My info about Atken's character is based on good authority, and by the same token I have reasons to believe Atken's death could be beneficial to the town. I don't think I'm allowed to say any more than that, and if that isn't enough for most of you then I guess we move on.
