Also, a special thanks to the 4 people that stepped up and helped with judging this evening. You can acknowledge yourselves here if you wish, but you know who you are, and I appreciate it more than you know. Sometimes staff gets swamped with real life (which has been a case more often than not lately) so it's nice to know we can reach out to the OOC community for such important matters. You guys are my heroes. ;D So thank you, again.

-The opening contest and the pre-match Red Scorpion segment were good.
-The New Sindicate/Harrisons segment was interesting. Thought there'd be a little more tension though because of what happened with the League sneak attack on Overdrive which Evan was a part of.
-My seg is what it is. Character is slowly losing his mind. Sums it up.
-The Sienna/Guv'Nor segment was good and clearly setting up something for later in the show so it served its purpose.
-About my match. If I knew how this would be portrayed or what would go down both during and after the match I would've asked to not be in this match. I really HATED what went down and I literally now have zero motivation to care about this entire story line after this. That's my feedback on it. I just deleted and saved to a word doc a half page vent session that I decided not to post about this if that tells you anything. Congrats to EA on the win but the rest of what happened (other than the EA/Scorpion attack segment which was well done) doesn't sit too well with me at all.
-I did like the Holmes/Crash match and the Sang Real after match sneak attack segment. This was well done.
-The tag team match was the best match on the show so far by a mile. Really good stuff there. The post-match segment was great too. Knox/Gooch is EASILY the best feud right now.
-Jerry Matthews/Sienna/Ron Rufio segment was AWESOME. Seriously Matthews is the top character on the rise on Meltdown right now in my opinion. The match was really good too.
-I liked the Shadow segment a lot.
-The tag match was well done too.
-The Black Hand has formed and this is a MUCH more interesting storyline than what's going on with the Sindicates and the League. It's been built up over the past few weeks during Knox's segments and done well. Plus judging by what Knox said I think there's more members which is going to be awesome.
-I liked the ending segment but the only thing that worries me is that Hades will be brought in and be given an immediate title shot. Other than that it was good.
-Overall I liked a almost everything on this show but what went down in my match and the after match stuff didn't sit well with me at all. Hated that stuff but liked everything else. That sums up my feedback.

Congrats to EA on the win but the rest of what happened (other than the EA/Scorpion attack segment which was well done) doesn't sit too well with me at all. I will take the blame for the post-match, but I don't see what was so bad about the write-up. Both Megastars went over, and both of their feuds came into play here. Jennings was protected in the end, by having EA need minor assistance from the League to pull off the win. That was the style and ending set in place. It made sense, so I ran with it... I wrote the post-match, and my goal was to get EA and RS in the ring alone. I decided to give Jennings some retribution, and some "heat" in the process. Jennings and TRS get the last laugh over the victorious EA, Jennings chases his opponent's manager off, horrifies her, gets his hands on her-- but doesn't obliterate her. If telling a story bothers you, sorry. Not sorry. But if your character being used without your acknowledgement is the issue, then fine. I will never do so again, but understand that everything was done for the sole purpose of pushing and building Jennings, EA, and Scorpion. I think that was accomplished here, and considering your angle and lack of input for an aftermath direction, I have issue seeing where your complaint lies. But ask and you shall receive-- I will no longer be doing anything, in any form, involving Michael Jennings, without giving you explicit play-by-play detail of everything that's happening, right down to the crowd reaction. De nada. Thanks for your insight! Keep the feedback comin', folks. It helps us build.

I saw the whole Jennings thing as him getting put over. Some things are going to happen on shows without you knowing. I mean if someone isn't using your character in promos, having them do things you wouldn't normally do, or just taking total control of your character then I see no harm. It's a surprise. It adds another element to this game, surprise. If you know what's going to happen all the way down to the finest detail then whys the fun in reading the results? I think it was done proper.

I promise to leave feed back for both Overdrive and Metldown in the next 48 hours.
But, I want to come on early and thank everyone who helped with Shadow's transition to Meltdown storyline so far. It's been really difficult with my current workload to come up with a decent storyline/motivation so to everyone who has helped/participated, I sincerely thank you!

Overall it was a well put together show. As usual Guv stands out as my favorite part however he's not the only stand out performance. Shadow, Knox, Kash/Reaver as well. Though that's not to undermine any one else. Everyone's contributions are great and appreciated.
I am not going to fuel and argument, but for what it's worth I thought my match was very well written and both characters and their respective feuds were really well done. I loved it.

My whole issue is the manager thing and the interactions both during and after the match. For one thing the manager gets attacked and then no sells the moment she runs from the ring and is able to have super human powers in her escape yet at the end of it all Jennings is breathing heavily and she apparently didn't break a sweat nor continue to sell the shots to the midsection from earlier as well as is able to knock over boxes and things, run full sprint, etc. Yet Jennings is barely able to keep up and is breathing heavily yet she's able to knock over things and even have time to grab her purse after getting attacked. If anyone got put over it was Knite in my opinion. She got nailed twice by a 250 lb. wrestler in the ring and is able to do all of that other stuff with no sign of injury at all. There is logic behind your ideas on this but how it went down is another story. My lack of input on the after match direction? Ok...kind of hard to know about it when you tell me that something is happening at T4TB and mention NOTHING about the match other than the commentators being used to tie a few things together and Knite being at ringside. There was nothing said about a post-match story line or angle. All I knew about was Knite being at ringside and Envi wouldn't be there. That was my entire knowledge of this beforehand. You didn't say anything about anything happening except for at T4TB as it relates to the storyline and said nothing about in the heads up you gave me in case I decided to do segments for the show. So don't be acting like I had no input on that because I didn't know about it in the first place because there was nothing mentioned about anything happening on Meltdown in it at all. All that's mentioned about the match is Knite being at ringside being part of an something to do with the Envi storyline. There's no mention of anything happening after the match in there so like I said, it's kind of hard to give input when I'm not in the know as to what is going on as well as a lack of communication about this feud as whole which is on both of us. I'm done talking about this. I've said my piece and this'll just drag on at this rate. This is the last you'll hear on this issue from me.

Just want to say that I thought it was a great read. Can't comment too much on the story lines because I just got here. The overall length of the show was awesome, I come from feds with 4 to 5 match shows, that are much shorter than this. Can't wait to read the next, I will do my part and write a match if necessary. Thanks to my brotha' Sang Real for writing my match.

Meltdown feedback..... Opening was fast paced and did both Scorpion and debuting Mr. Enigma a lot of favors, but..... Scorpion needs to edit his entrance, since it seems match-specific, and IIRC he's had the same entrance since his 1st or 2nd match here. It's funny, but it needs to be changed up if something like that is going to be continued. Anyway, important win for Enigma (congrats) but Scorpion needed it here. He's the one with the PPV match! It was fun working with everyone for the Tyler/New Sindicate seg. The Jennings segment was much better than the stuff I was seeing from him and Catherine, sorry to say. Jennings does better without a manager. He's one of those characters that's just so polarizing that a manager hurts him, unless the manager is a huge deal already. Guv'Nor/Sienna is more intriguing now than it has ever been, which is saying a lot, because it's always been great. I won't lie... I don't want to like the Guv/Sienna saga anymore, but it's like a guilty pleasure. I don't necessarily like how a lot of the focus has shifted away from Megastars and has fallen on Sienna again, but from a storyline standpoint and considering where the Guv'Nor is in his career, it makes a lot of sense and will only serve to give him a huuuuuuuge push in the long run. But anyway, after reading this, it looks like Guv'Nor may be finally saying goodbye to Meltdown (transitioning into a feud with a member of Foul Play??) Otherwise, I'm not entirely sure where this is going- but don't get me wrong, I'm happy to be along for the ride. I'm sorry if anything seemed out of place in EA vs Jennings. I was told that Envi was not to be on the show, so I thought it made sense to have the League's mouthpiece (or what I interpret Jenny Knite as) be the main antagonist in the Michael Jennings story here, and of course have Red Scorpion be the main antagonist in the EA story. If it didn't come out the way I wanted it to, my apologies. I was just trying to put over the competitors in the match and the PPV matches!! As for the post match.... I don't think it's implausible that a smaller woman would outrun a larger man that was just defeated in a 10 minute match. I think the gut shot was either unnecessary or could have been sold better, but other than that I don't see reason for concern. Nothing about it struck me as "omg, that couldn't happen!" We've all seen more ridiculous stuff on movies lol. I'm glad The Red Scorpion came out for some face time after his match. He NEEDED something strong like beating down Emerald Assassin to continue looking like a threat heading into the PPV. Although I want to see more mic work from both of them, every little thing both writers do intrigues me, to say the least. I'm not sure how I feel about Sang Réal on commentary for Crash vs Holmes. They have a tendency to bury talent but they usually make up for it in one way or another. The match was very well written, and I was kind of thrown off by the length at first, until I saw that Yanzel Holmes update at the end of the show (then it made sense). Huge rub for Sang Réal though, taking out Peace, and now his tag partner (?) Holmes. It's also a nice feather in Wyatt's cap, being Yanzel's final opponent for quite some time. I enjoyed the Crash RP, and I think he could be something special with a feud going on. Sang Réal was the big story here though. Give these kids a title match, now. Foul Play was gold as usual. lol.. bedpans.... but I think they said "July 18th" in their segment. I think they meant "July 8th." Other than that, this segment did what it was expected to do and hyped the anticipated NBK/FP rematch. I'm excited for the two teams to fight again- definitely one of the more promising tag feuds to come out of APW lately, I'll admit. Iron Nightmare vs Savage/Gooch went down. Something that bothers me about Gooch matches is... the League is never there, and if they are, it's after the result. Maybe it's on purpose, and if so it's peaked my interest, but if not, then.... eh. I like the League, and where they've quickly taken themselves, but I only get the feeling that they're a unit when they're on Overdrive. Off of Overdrive, they just strike me as a bunch of individuals..... if that makes sense. But it's still early, and to be fair, Knox/Gooch and Martin/Savage have been going down since before the League formed. The match itself seemed to protect Iron Nightmare a LOT. I don't know who wrote the match, but I would've liked to see Gooch (who is a part of a big storyline) and Jace Savage (a black horse TFTB entrant) get more exposure here. I don't think the Special Ref aspect was utilized to the extent that it could've been. I understand that a lot of stories had to be told here, but bottom line, TFTB should have been the priority, and it wasn't even though all the tools were there for that to happen. I still love Iron Nightmare, Jace, and Gooch, but I think I would've handled this differently. Great stuff happened after the bell rang. I want to see where Jace goes with this. He's the ultimate underdog in APW right now. Jerry Matthews is a sleeper MEGAstar. I always forget about him, until he shows up, and then he blows my frikkin mind. And Rufio was AMAZING and I don't even know who this guy is!! I love what's happening with Jerry Matthews right now. I don't know where this guy came from but this was probably my favorite segment of the night, and Ron Rufio is going to come out of this looking amazing. The match was short, but I think commentary helped out a bit, and the shortness also established Matthews as..... awesome. I want more. I want Matthews in every main event ever. So glad to see Shadow back in a prominent role on APWTV. He didn't have an exceptionally long segment but he covered a lot of points that I think would sit well with the "smart marks." There are a lot of people trying to be "rebels" in APW right now but THIS is the first approach I've seen where I actually applauded. (I didn't really applaud, but I would've.) It was masterfully done by Shadow, and the lead-in to Unforgiven's entrance was great. I thought there would be a confrontation, but it seems that UF is just getting in everybody's face tonight and not capitalizing. That's very intriguing though, and makes these guys even more intimidating. Having worked with them/him before- I know that something great will come out of it. Unforgiven vs Shadow? Sounds like a PPV match. The main event was a good match, but the match itself didn't have the main event feel to it. The events preceding and succeeding the match MORE than made up for what, otherwise, was an average No-DQ match, but Unforgiven came out of it still looking strong. I'm a little afraid that Madison's first win could be looked at as a cheap win IF it isn't sold right, but this was HUGE for Brian Hollywood, who was victimized in the segment that came after. Suddenly, I'm not so upset that Knox has looked so dominant. This stable can only really go 1 of 2 ways, and I hope it's a success!! Guv'Nor segment was splendid as always. Best 'talker' in APW.... period. The lead-in to Victor Hades was great. It's a HUGE queue for Meltdown, and I know it'll be a great RP series/match to read. I DO think this kind of undermines people like Jerry Matthews and Niobe Martin but I understand why it was done. Sadly, if Hades loses this match, this won't do him many favors whereas Guv will look great, win or lose, based on the circumstances. All in all, this show was very good for a sendoff show. Meltdown sendoffs are the one time I usually feel that its ok for Overdrive/Asylum stars to participate, so I would've liked to see some more feuds acknowledged, and maybe a rundown of the brackets and whatnot..... but it's a very minor thing. Also, wish that Robina had gotten as much exposure tonight as Jace. I understand that the handler was away, OOC, but it could've been a huge chance to gain momentum. Great job everyone!

There was nothing implausible about it at all. This universe is made up of women who are strong. To say this couldn't happen, yet have Guv'Nor vs Niobe Martin/Robina Hood or have Iron Nightmare competing is just beyond silly.
My interpretation of this "situation" is that Jennings felt like his character was made to look weak. Cause God forbid that happen right? But that's not the case and if I am wrong I'm sorry for making assumptions.
But everyone looked good. All of our feuds looked good. And seriously to complain publicly is quite petty. Clearly you hadn't offered input for a segment or these people wouldn't have had to write one for you.
I'm guilty of that too, everyone knows my time frame. I WOULD be on a main show and probably in title feuds if I HAD time to do segments and work with everyone a little more closely.
But this is just a game, and a silly one at that. I make time for what I can do. And I certainly never complain about my character looking weak.
Here's some perspective; I out role played my opponent, by a mile and yet my character couldn't beat his opponent without assistance. Then EA got jumped too.
Not complaining. It was actually great storytelling and built for the ppv amazingly. I appreciate the writers. They not only contributed where I fail to, but wrote a damn fine match and segment. For everyone.
So I know it's sort of the natural born killaz thing to bitch and complain in the feedback thread, but how about it just ends. Cause I am really sick of seeing it, especially when you truly have nothing to bitch and complain about. like at all.
Once again thank you to everyone who makes these shows possible, you're under appreciated by nearly everyone. You put together an awesome show and sold the ppv feuds very well.

First I'd like to link this: apwprez.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=feedback&action=display&thread=17792Overdrive Feedback also they kind of go hand in hand since I read the shows back to back Okay opening match. I wasn't too into the opening segment. Felt slow. The match picked it up quick though. My only feeling on the match is that it read sort of like a list. the match commentary seemed a little bland. The aftermatch commentary caught my attention. Damn. That was pretty sweet. If I were him I'd feel like a douche for standing her up all night lol. The next segment really over pushed the New Sindicate. They felt like all bark and no bite without their boss. Where was the sell? Jennings, again Overdrive comment. Pick a storyline and run with it. I expected the League to pick off the Sindicates at first. It was the smart move to really get some pull to the faces of APW despite there being heels in the faction. This should be one of those that festers and explodes in your saga later. You didn't sell your match either. You decide what kind of exposure you get. Guv'nor segment was good, but he was a little over the top with the throat slashing remark. Good trash talk. Jennings and EA. Tough match. Both characters did look strong, especially with Jennings jumping EA after the match. As for a woman fleeing from a man who wants to Rodney King her ass and doing so successfully? I think she pulled it off. Get her next time. Scorpion showing up does push their T4tB match a little. If this is their final show down, then there should have been more build up. Yanzel and Wyatt. I have a lot to say about this. I agree, Sang Real has the tendency to bury opponents. After last Meltdown's Murphy win, they went a little far in character and earn some hellfire heat. Not technically a bad thing. Regardless of the outcome of the next Real/Holmes confrontation, Yanzel Holmes needs to come out SHINING. Holmes' with the Hail Mary! Bam. I'm throwing this one out there to everyone; any additional thoughts? Wyatt 's win also felt undersold by Sang Real. He didn't get the expose he should have with his first match and win. Again a tease for Shadow! Thank you! Steel cage match? Seems interesting. Iron Nightmare finish was sour. Gooch had time to get winded and ready for retaliation. They should have cleaned house. I didn't understand Jace's comment, seems like he's going after the boss. Sorry Im still catching up on everything Rufio versus Matthews was short. Their opening back talk seemed to work well. Just felt Rufio could have been pushed a little more. I was a little surprised after the "standoff" Needed a more detail. Thank everyone for their feedback on my segment. I have to admit something. The ending of my segment...floored me. I was reading through it hit the end of what I sent in... I thought they shot Shadow dead! I can envision Shadow versus Unforgiven. It seems very plausible and like a damn good push for both. If that's where this is going, alright. That was a lot of fun to work, NBK, Evan, Terry Thank you again. I can't wait to see how Shadow eats those words. Main Event, brutal, physically brutal. The finish was a great boost for Hollywood and Madison. They can run with that exposure for a few weeks. Hits Unforgiven a little after their stare downs throughout the show. Another Heel faction, hrm? Good to see Hades back, we feuded years ago. I don't know how I feel about the auto title shot. Kind of feels the treatment the White Lion got on Meltdown. I can see how you want to push the Guv'nor onto bigger things, Hades showing up and just snagging the No1 contender spot sort of hits the roster members who've been busting their hump. All in all not a bad show. I wonder what the Megashow will bring.

First of all, obligatory thanks to Evan Envi and everyone who makes the show possible.
Quick rundown of the show.
Decent opening match. I think Red Scorpion has made a big statement since coming and I think him opening the show is a smart move. Mr. Enigma is an interesting character and I’m intrigued to see how he goes in the next few weeks and where he fits into the scheme of things.
The Tyler/New Sindicate segment was of a length that I’ve come to expect from these collective pieces. I think every member of NS got a bit of shine, and it was good to promote T4TB, even giving a small rub to Meltdown’s participants. The morose, almost philosophical end filled me with a sense of foreboding. What are the New Sindicate up to here?
There’s been a lot of comments about Michael Jennings. I had a few words of advice, but I think most of what I said has been said in some sense. I’ll just add that I think Jennings needs to go heel and stay heel. He walks and talks heel, but he’s being cheered by the fans (who he has nothing but disdain for). It’s confusing. I understand why Jennings sacrificed his heel heat, but that’s over now; Ellis Graham is long gone.
I swear my attention to detail on show locations is the worst ever. The show was in Phoenix, not Memphis. I made Shane West look a dumbass. Sorry about that. Also, apologies to Jace for not coming through with a segment. Not a reflection of you my friend, more a case of it being a bit of a whirlwind scramble around deadline last night. Blame Evan! ;-p
Jennings v Emerald. It was a whirlwind reading how this match came about. I think it was a good match, good chemistry (although I can see how it looked odd given Jennings wants to be face, but was written heel – see above comments), and everyone came out looking decent enough with the finish. The commentary was good, did a good job of selling the action and making the underdog (Emerald) a credible threat.
I wasn’t overly enamoured with the post-match. It felt it a bit forced in trying to generate heat between Envi and Jennings. But the whole thing has come a bit of out the leftfield for me and feels rushed.
I’ll agree entirely with Shadow and AJP about Sang Real, and the total burial went over the top here. Shadow’s point about Yanzel getting the shine in the next confrontation is right on the money.
Kash v Lively is one of those matches that you wouldn’t need to sell, but it’s a shame that circumstances dictate that Lively parts way with Foul Play, and Kash v Lively doesn’t arrive after some serious build. Two of my favourite personalities on the roster. It’ll be a ripper!
I like Jace Savage, he’s got that green but up and coming rookie gimmick down a treat. I’m not too keen on the rivalry with Tommy Knox as a singles feud. I know Meltdown is the official home of tag team wrestling and that’s why we get so many ‘outsiders’ on the shows, but if Overdrive or Asylum megastars are coming to Meltdown regularly it should be to promote tag team angles only. If Jace finds a team-mate then the feud with Iron Nightmare is fine, but if Jace wants a singles rivalry I’d advise he do it with a designated Meltdown megastar. That’s just how I think this stuff should work.
Jerry Matthews. Sienna knows how to pick ‘em. Seriously, nobody has come into APW and grabbed attention like this since Michael Callahan, and if Jerry even pulls off half of what Mikey did then he’s going to be a good acquisition.
I understand the need to put Rufio over, but I have no idea why the crowd were so into a guy they’ve never seen wrestle. I think more heat for Matthew would have been better, with Rufio getting his pop once he had come out and had his say. The scriptural lesson killed Rufio’s momentum (I understand the intention, but it fell flat on me), and the exchange didn’t quite end with the bang that could have had me salivating to see this contest.
The match itself was okay, very short. Psychology was okay with Rufio getting the early shine, but it was just spot after spot (or power move after power move) after that until a surprise quick finish. Remember your rule of threes, give the heel a sustained ‘heat’ section and you have to at least one big comeback to put the face over. You can do all of that in a summarised match.
Good segment from Shadow, and I’m pleased a big deal has been made of his return to Meltdown. This sort of thing could bury a character, but Shadow and the management have put it over in a way that maintains Shadow’s strength. Personally, I’m not overly keen on smarky comments in promos, but that may just be me. It certainly didn’t take away from an excellent return by Shadow.
Agree with whoever commented on the ME not feeling quite box-office enough. Good match, maybe not memorable. I’m glad The Unforgiven look strong in defeat though.
As for the aftermath and another faction forming. I guess APW is going down this route of lots of factions, so whatever I say won’t make much difference. I think lots of factions are fine if each of them has a discrete identity or philosophy behind them. I’m seeing a lot of overlap in some of the factions in terms of what they say or how they behave. My personal preference is a strong tag team division, we have that now. Having lots of factions, in my eyes, only dilutes the power of them all, whereas I prefer lots of tag teams with possibly one really dominant faction, which enhances their power and really sells their threat.
But we’re not angled and trends have a peculiar way of infecting the Zeitgeist.
Final segment. I’ll just say I look forward to working a match with Victor Hades and I feel honoured to have the privilege of being his first opponent. I understand people’s concerns, I had a few myself, but I think this development is for the good of Meltdown.
Final assessment: didn’t really feel like a go-home to me, felt a bit like a mid-cycle show with still lots of development going on. But it’s been a short cycle, and the focus this time of year is very much about T4TB. I think some of the storylines will build and we’ll start to see definite resolutions at Shockwave.
Also, I think more could have be done to sell Meltdown’s participation at T4TB. I know Robina was at a festival, but Jace Savage didn’t mention T4TB in his promo. I was happy to take a back seat with The Guv’nor for this PPV, but I feel the NA Title goes into T4TB as Meltdown’s premier contribution, rather than the focus being on Meltdown looking to provide the next #1 contender for the Undisputed or WHC Title.

I can't do anything of length (since I'm a little bit drained at the moment, lol) but I found the show to be completely enjoyable. And whoever wrote the Iron Nightmare vs Jace & Gooch match has definitely did a brilliant job with keeping Robina in character while being the ref...even though she would be one to be more lenient as long as Jace and Niobe suffers but the match writer did a brilliant job so congratulations. Also, wish that Robina had gotten as much exposure tonight as Jace. I understand that the handler was away, OOC, but it could've been a huge chance to gain momentum. I actually wanted to do a segment as well...partly to build up T4TB but mostly because the 17th of June marked Robina's 19th birthday...but I couldn't think of anything (probably because my mind was blown away by Rammstein's breath-taking performance) >_> Shame actually because one potential idea could have been a simple discussion between Robina and Sienna about T4TB, as well as Miss Hood refereeing the tag match, before ending it with Harrison telling Hood something like "happy birthday, by the way." I will try to post a segment or two for next week just to owe back for this missed opportunity, as well as build up Meltdown's entry into T4TB.

The scriptural lesson killed Rufio’s momentum (I understand the intention, but it fell flat on me), and the exchange didn’t quite end with the bang that could have had me salivating to see this contest. I'll admit I got a little carried away with the Scripture stuff. My opponent was a Christian Extremist. And, even though I'm not actually a Christian these days, I know a lot about Scripture due to being raised by a Pastor. My dad, grandpa, and uncle are all Pastors. lol

Blame Evan! ;-p Jennings v Emerald. Honor is all mine brother and cant wait to get to work with you!
