[Jace]

Mount Rushmore stands as a symbol of hope, the carvings symbolize the greatness of this nation through the greatness of its leaders. The sculpture of Mount Rushmore has the faces of four historical American leaders carved into the side of it, that symbolize this nation's underdog history through, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, and their monumental determination and lasting achievements.

Jace is standing at the bottom of the 240 steps to the top trail. He is wearing a pair of brown hiking shoes with black cargo shorts, and a green tank top. He has a black hiking back pack strapped to his back. He pulls out a bottle of water, and takes a drink from it, before beginning his journey to the top of the mountain. Jace looks up to the carvings of the American President's, he starts nodding his head, as if silently acknowledging one of his many thoughts, before heading into Test For The Best. Jace begins to head up the trail.

Jace: In life everything you do begins somewhere, and for most people it begins at the bottom of the mountain. It came to me the other day, a little voice in my head, not like the one's in Reaver's head, but a thought surfaced in my brain. It suggested to me to come visit Mount Rushmore it will enlighten you. The site will inspire you it told me, and staring at those four faces it came to me, a realization. Through out the early years of our great nation, America was considered the underdogs.

Jace continues up the path , and stops for a second to take in more of the view. He turns around to face the camera.

Jace: When the colonists fought the British between years of seventeen seventy-five, and seventeen eighty-three, they were considered the ultimate underdog. Much like I am considered here in APW. I am thought of, as the person who has talent, and may get there one day, but not today kind of Megastar. The British thought they can come in, and take something they felt rightfully belonged to them. The kings abuse in power, along with those who he appointed, was ultimately what brought the people to rebel, and bring down the monarchy rule. Everyone involved in this tournament looks at me like they are just going to walk into the match, and take the next step to becoming a champion.

Jace turns around, and starts walking up the trail, taking another drink of water, from his bottle he pulled out earlier.

Jace: The War in Cuba, Theodore as he preferred to be called, lead the Rough Riders to many victories despite the odds again them. He charged up both Kettle, and San Juan Hill. Much like I'm charging up the Test For The Best hill. I'm going to claim it's victory, and will finally be noted in APW's history, as the fastest rising star.

Jace stops for another moment catching more of the gorgeous view from where he is standing. He turns and continues to walk up the mountain. He takes another drink from his water bottle.

Jace: Through fire, heroes and icons are made. Through trials, and tribulations they come out on top. Every person everywhere has to start somewhere.

Jace finally reaches the top of the trail. He walks over to stand as close as he can be, to standing on top of the heads carved into the mountain.

Jace: As I stand on top of this mountain, of our Fore Fathers, I see the history. The history of hard work, no short cuts, but survival, and overcoming of their odds. I too wish to walk this path, This fork in the road. Where my head is carved into the mountains. Where my hard work today, tomorrow, and into the future is respected like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and Thomas Jefferson, but I want that in a different form. I want my carving to be niched in to the side of Mount Action.

Terry Marvin, Level-One, C.J. Gates, and Biggs, are the Fore Fathers of Action. I will rise to become just that, to etch my own name among, not just men, but the BEST in APWs history. I fight to be the best. These men have carved their way, and made a name for themselves, all in the name of Action. There will be no greater praise, then to have each one of them validate my name. For the underdog that's all we want, is validation, that everyone knows we are for real.

Jace turns to the camera, but stays where he is at, on top of the heads of the Fore Fathers. He takes another drink of his water bottle.

Jace: You know I have been doubted all of my life, and this Sunday at Test For The Best, I will be doubted again. Already people backstage have a betting pool going, on who's going to win. There's a few people who think I can at least make it past the first round, but nobody believes I'll win. I stand here today, and I say this, Test For The Best is only the beginning, I may or may not win, but it's not going to stop me from carving my face into the side of Mount Action, When people come to visit, they will say great things about me, like they say about the one's I have deemed the Fore Fathers of Action. I will stand above them all one day, one day I will have the validation I seek.

I will walk up the side of action mountain, like I did here today, I will take every step I need to, to reach the top, and along the way it will be rocky, the view will be grand, and I will take everything in, I will know what it takes to get to the point of which I am destined to. Maybe my destiny leads to my first real shot, at something bound to lead to greatness, or maybe the universe will decide I need to take the two-hundred and forty steps it takes to reach the top.

The universe unfolds as it should, if it's written in the stars, for me to take on Terry Marvin at Shockwave, then the Universe will work it's magic, align the planets, the stars, the Milky Way Galaxy will all come together, to give me that shot. The Universe may align for the others who are in the tournament, but I'm going into it giving everything I've got, and the universe be damned if I don't walk out of this the winner.

March 28, 2010 the Heavy wieght title's name was changed to The Undisputed Championship Sally Talfourd made history at One Night in Hell, when she became the first female wrestler to win the APW Heavyweight Title. She defeated five other men in the Elimination Chamber. Rasslemania VII was Sally Talfourd Vs. Level One three. In a No DQ match that went into the crowd, around the ring and every where you could imagine. The two kicked out of each others signature moves, but by the end of it al, Level One became a four time APW champion when he hit the Darkness Shrine on Sally from the top rope.

The Heavyweight Title has been change to the Undisputed Title to reflect the change of the Asylum show. At Test for the Best, Biggs, who was Overdrive Champion at the time, defeated Level One and became the first person in APW history to hold two title at one time. CJ got his shot at the title after winning the Test for the Best tournament. CJ would go on to defeat Biggs, winning his first APW Singles title with a little help from the debuting Kurt Noble. In a Fatal 4 way match at Rasslemania VIII, Kurt Noble was able to defeat Blade, Johnny Rebel and CJ Gates to win the Undisputed Championship. After winning the Test for the Best tournament, Terry guaranteed himself a shot at the title against Kurt Noble, which he defeated to win his 1st Undisputed Title.


Each and everyone of these people carved their face, their portrait hanging on the side of Mount Action. Sally Tulfourd was considered the underdog when competing in Test For The Best, she won it that night. Then she was considered the underdog when facing Level-One for the first time, she won that night to. APW favors the underdog. Those who dare to reach for the stars, get their chance by proving themselves.

Biggs, Level-One, Sally, C.J. Gates, Kurt Noble, all have one thing in common they lost their title. Soon Terry Marvin will soon join their ranks, when I beat the Test, and go on to challenge Terry for his Undisputed Heavy Weight Championship of the World. My name will go down with the rest of the greats, but first.........

Jace stops mid-sentence he takes a drink of his water, and looks at the view for a second

Jace: First I have to get through the rounds. One by one each round will be tougher then the last, for each round marks a competitor who has also earned the right to advance. Each round will be come more, and more difficult as the weak, are weeded out, and the strong take their place in the finals. Those who can endure the pain, those who can over come each battle, will walk a way with their head held high. Win or lose everyone in this tournament has earned their right to be here. Will they earn the right to advance? Thats a whole nother question in it self, now isn't it. Only on can survive, only one can claim the prize. There can be only one, and I am the one who will become APW's next immortal.

A.J.P, Logan Alexander, and Christian Kane all over look me. They don't see that I'm a threat. They have their head shoved up Terry Marvin's ass, they believe their own hype. They aren't anything by themselves. They ride off Marv has made a name for himself. Nobody cares about them. They want to see The NewGen Rising. The fans are tired of the same old thing day in, and day out They want something new, they want......Someone new to take that title from Terry Marvin, and bring pride back to the championship. APW is my first, and ONLY home. I put my all into APW. This is my blood, sweat, and dedication. Everyone else seem to have multiple contracts to be able to compete in different, and lesser establishments. Jace Savage is a Mega Star, and will stay that way. It's worth fighting for, it's worth preserving, and I am the "NewGen of Action". I will surprise. I will rise from the shadows of everyone who has come before me, in the name of those who will come after. Although underrated, and over looked I will shine, and they might as well get the sculpture ready because my face, will be the face of APW soon enough.

Jace takes a few steps toward the camera. He looks down at the ground, and grabs his chin with his right hand. He nods again, as if acknowledging another one of his may thoughts.

Jace: People come, and People go. Some have left, and some have returned. Some are so well, that he gets a shot at the North American title shot, in his return pay per view match, at Test For The Best. Just because his name is Victor Hades. He doesn't even have to earn a number one contender match, the guy is this good.

I've climb personal mountains of my mown lately. I've over come the abuse at my fathers hands. I've taken his company from him, and he can't stop me. I figured out a way to beat him, and I'll figure out a way to beat all of you in the tournament. I've spent my life getting beat on, and kicked around. I have been told time and time again, that I'm nothing, I've been told that I won't succeed, that no matter how hard I try, I am a failure. I will prove to my father, to everyone in the back, and to anyone who doubts, that I will come out on top. That it will be my hand raised in victory, and that it will be my name next to Terry Marvin's headlining Shockwave.

I've come far in such a short period of time. Some people know my name. Some people know I'm a fighter. While in past weeks my arrogance has cost me to lose to Robina, it's cost me to let the North American Title to slip through my fingers, but I've been humbled, by each, and everyone of these experiences. I learn from the mistakes I've made, and I apply it to my future matches. Little by little I get better, and better. In time I will out shine anyone ever, who has stepped into an APW ring. I will be the greatest of them all. My spot along side Mount Action is being carved as we speak, and little by little, victory after victory, that carving becomes more defined, more noticeable as time goes on.

Jace more intently now looks into the camera

Jace: Jair Hopkins, A.C Smith, Biggs, C.J Gates, and Nathaniel Havok, have all been champions. They know what it takes to be a champion. Day in, and Day out, they give everything they've got. Great champions IN THEIR TIME. Well, boys it's no longer your time. It's my time, a dawn of a new era arises. For all it's worth at one time each of you, were the best at what we do, that time has come, and gone, like the sand in an hour glass your slowly, slipping through the gap to the bottom, until finally your all used up.

Robina Hood you think you can stop me from accomplishing my goals? You think I'm just going to allow you to get in the way of my Meltdown revolution? I got news for you sister you aren't about to do shit. Next time we meet I'll be ready for you, Guv'nor warned me once when we tagged together, I didn't heed his advice about you. I thought you didn't have it in you to beat us. Sadly, I was wrong. I didn't listen, and I under estimated you. That won't happen again see. I've made a friend who's going to watch my back, who disagrees with the things happening on Meltdown, the same as I do. I'm not alone in my revolution Robina.

Sienna's reign will come to an end, and you will have nothing. After I take Sienna from you, your seemingly best friend, you won't have anything, not your daughter, husband, your home. I will finish throwing out, what garbage the Guv'nor has left on the ground. Sienna put a lot of faith in you, for you to come up short the number of times you did. Have you ever thought that Sienna is now promoting Jerry Mathews as the Next Big Star! Does this concern you? Does it make you think, that Sienna is about to toss you to the side because she no longer has any use for you? How does it make you feel to know someone put so much into you, for you to fail, and miserably I might add. Shot after shot you had at the Guv, and time after time you came up short. Oly did you ever pin the Guvnor one time, and that wasn't even for his championship. He had a bad night, and lost his rightful spot in this tournament. Now Meltdown has to be represented by such vile, as yourself. You got lucky, to even be here shows you got lucky against Guv. Don't you see that? Don't you see that it's a fluke your here?

Robina we aren't done by a long shot, it doesn't matter if either of us win or not, I'm going to make you, and Sienna pay for the things you've done in the name of power. So if you really think you can stop me, then I welcome you to try. This revolution is bigger then you, or I. The APW fans are calling for a reform, they don't like how Sienna is running the show. They don't like her bullying people because she's in charge. In fact those are all the reason's I hate the both of you. You have no respect, no honor or dignity. You will do, or say anything to get what you want, and Meltdown does not need people like that to represent it You don't know the size of the fight coming to your door step. You don't realize there is a APW wide faction war about to take place. You better make sure that when it comes down to it, Sienna has your back, or your going to find yourself all alone, with no friends to watch your back.

At this moment as Jace is about to continue on, Cid the old friend of Jaces grandfather walks into view. Jace looks him with a little bit of disappointment.

Jace: It's about time you got here old man.

Cid: Those two-hundred and forty step, is no joke for an old man.

Jace: Yeah trying wrestling at your age, like some of the people in APW. These guys are old for wrestling standard years. You can only put your body through some much before it gives out on you.

Cid: Yeah, I've pushed my knees to the limit climbing up the side of the mountain.

Jace: Yeah, can you imagine the amount of pain each person I'm facing has put their own bodies through. I mean look at me, I'm in top notch physical condition. Everyone else is broken, and their bodies too will give out on them.

Cid: They better be careful, before they break a hip. Enough of that, now you called me, and told me you took your fathers company from him Your grandfather would be proud that his biggest accomplishment, and hard work now is in your hands. I'm glad to hear you've finally stood up to your dad.

Jace: Yeah, it makes me feel a lot better I finally was able to stand up to the asshole. I don't why it took so long. I guess I was hoping he would change, I wanted a normal father and son relationship, but that's not possible.

Cid: You know I heard a few things you were talking about, while I was walking up. I believe in your ability to win, son. Your like your grand dad, once he wanted something so bad, there was no stopping him, from him getting what it is he wanted. I believe, you want this so bad, that nothing is going to stand in your way. Just remember Jace, Cheaters never win, and Winners never cheat, my dear boy. A.J.P, Logan Alexander. Christian Kane, C.J. Gates, Robina Hood, Jair Hopkins, Biggs, A.C Smith, and Nathaniel Havok, don't have what you have, and that's unbreakable determination.

Jace: I want this so bad, man I can taste it. Winning the North American championship even though it was interim, in a match, has made we even more determined to reach the top, grab a hold of the Undisputed Championship, and have a reign far more dominant then Terry Marvin could ever dream of. Terry get ready because at Shockwave it's Jace Savage vs. Terry Marvin for The Undisputed Heavyweight Championship of the World.

I won't be denied the chance at T-Marv, he will learn my name. No more asking me who I am when I address him, He will know who I am. He will know me by the man who took his title, and ended his year long reign. Terry will finally remember my name, when he's laying on his back, and the ring announcer, announces " AND YOUR NEW UNDISPUTED CHAMPION, THE NEWGEN OF ACTION, JACE SAVAGE." Then and only then will I have everyone's respect.

Cid: Why are you on this thing, about Terry Marvin Knowing your name, and everyone respecting you? Respect comes from peopl, when you learn to respect yourself. You respected yourself when you took over the family business. You finally had enough of the things happening to you. The only way you get at Terry is by respecting yourself, without the arrogance, and cocky attitude you seem to have. I know your a good kid, a lot of bad things have happend to you, but don't let those things define you.

Jace stares at the ground for a moment as if in a deep thought.

Jace: It started on twitter whenever I addressed Marv, he insults me by not acknowledging I am an APW Megastar, let alone insults me by not referring to me by name. The only way to get him to accept there are other stars around him, is to beat him, in the ring for the title. My cockiness is what is giving me myself respect. If I didn't think or believe in myself, or my abilities, I would still be getting my ass kicked by the man I call father.

The thing that defines me is respect. You show me respect, I show you respect, everyone gets along. If you show me disrespect the I'm going to be the biggest asshole I can be, until you finally understand you will respect me, and the things I'm willing to do. Every person deserves the respect of their fellow man. People are intolerant of one another, something are Nation is suppose to stand against. That all comes down to respect. You respect your fellow man, or bad things happen. If you push someone to hard, to their breaking point, they will break, and the results could be deadly.

I will leaving a lasting name, not the one my father wanted to leave, as his legacy. The legacy I leave will be one that is influencing to others, a name that is respected. I want to leave a legacy that people look to, become inspired to do things, they normally wouldn't do because everyone in their life has told them they couldn't. I will leave my legacy, like our Fore Fathers of action have left theirs, with victory, and a determination to prove that no matter the odds stacked against you, you can persevere, and come out on top. I want to be the reminder to all the quoted "under dogs" that, if you believe in yourself, your dreams, of wanting more can be a reality if you reach for the stars.

Soon the NewGen will rise against the older gen, and take over. There isn't anything anyone can do about it, for time is on our side, and right now it's MY TIME! I stand here on top of Mount Rushmore, looking to climb Mount Action as my next conquest. I am Jace Savage. I am the ultimate under dog in Test For The Best, and in APW history. I will prove to all the other Mega Stars why I deserve to be here, and Why I deserve their respect.

No matter what happens in the tournament, whether it be my hand raised, or not I will come out of Test For The Best knowing I did everything I could to win.
