I havent seen any feedback yet so I guess I'll start.
T4TB tournament thus far has been AWESOME an very well-written. Much applause and congrats to everyone involved on excellent writing and rps. You all kicked ass regardless of outcome, but im still waiting to see if my pick ends up taking it. lol.
Few of the title matches I was pretty much expecting, but great nonetheless.
I pretty much wasnt expecting to win the belt due to being put into the match debuting back and such. REGARDLESS-My hat also goes off to Guv for writing our match perfectly and defending the strap with honor and class, hope we get to work again soon man-sorry again about the shortage with no 2nd rp. Cant always rely on technology. -shrug- Congrats!
Now im gonna finish this beer and sit anxiously to finish reading the rest of this...

I felt like JBL watching One Night Only during the Finals...Just saying...
And nothing against TMarv cause he's TMarv and has done so much in so many places and events, tournaments and here in APW but Level One owned his rps. Fan-fucking-tastic! I was jaw dropped seeing the outcome. I want more! I think we deserve more, been a while since I've been in awe of a decision. Crazy event. Gates..You know whats up, love you, promoted you, I think you are the FACE of APW from the timeslot I've been here. You aren't the Gatekeeper by any means, you're the man who helped build the foundation as far as I'm concerned.
I gave Jace Savage the Mount Rushmore idea. I put 4 heads on a new Mountain and called it Mount Action. Without a doubt to me at least...CJ Gates, Biggs, Level One, and Terry Marvin belong on that mountain. I LOVE APW but outside of the outstanding shows we continue getting put up...Too many people are not happy anymore. Secrets, whispers, complaints that if said get brushed aside because it "Ruins the fun of others" and something needs to change. I dunno...I won't go into anymore than this. I try to talk to people and I either get no response or it's nothing to worry about. Okay I'm done now, I'll shut up.
This show regardless is a positive, it can be used to see what people can do to improve and get involved and be seen. We need to work together or things will never get better and that's kind of sad.
Sorry Jeff for not being here today, I am burnt red if that makes you feel better? No, I won't slap my own burnt skin to punish myself...

I will post something more in-depth when I'm not at work sneaking away to quickly post something about the show.
All I want to say for now was that the show was good and I can't wait to get back to working my way back to the top while writing against some of the best writers in efedding today. Anyway, that's all I really have to say for now until I get home.

Firstly, I didn’t get to read any roleplays other than Victor Hades this week. I’m going to try and catch up this week, so everything here is coming off as a complete surprise. I don’t know who did what, who deserved what, so this feedback (which is being written live) may come across like that.
Wow! That was my exact reaction as the first match unfolded. I said in chat I would mark out if Biggs v C.J. opened the show, but this was a great start to the show. Good, fast-paced match. There’s a lot of action tonight so it makes sense these early matches not being too long. Honestly, any one of these three could have won this, and I can’t remember now if AJP is one of my picks, but I’ve been championing her cause for a while so it’s good to her getting the rub.
Biggs v C.J. Gates in the first round – HOLY BANANAS! Wait! Havok too. It’s a big unfortunate for Havok to get this draw, but let’s see if he can pull off the shock. Another good match that went up a level, and if each match improves on its predecessor it will be some final. Some great false finishes near the end, and it was good Havok got the chance of some redemption in defeat hitting his finisher. C.J. moves on.
Nice little segment to promote the Meltdown presence. I think the slight Hades ‘bury’ (it wasn’t quite a bury but I can’t find another term for it) was unnecessary, especially as the NA Title with such little hype needs to be built up as Hades being a MASSIVE threat. Otherwise, good stuff.
The ‘entertainment must die’ angle is curious from Jennings. Not sure if it was a throwaway comment and I’m reading too much into it, but if not I’m not quite sure where this might go, but I am intrigued. I still feel there is a bit of conflict in the Jennings character and his identity. Again, not sure whether this is deliberate. I watch with curiosity that’s for sure.
So already we’re seeing heel v heel and face v face in the tournament. I’m hoping the series has been booked to reflect more traditional psychology in the latter stages. Anyway, A.C. v Jair Hopkins is a great positive of this year’s format. It’s a match-up we wouldn’t see, and the sheer difference is size and style between the two makes for an interesting match. And it was a decent match that captured the difference but complimented them. I’ll admit I felt the finish was a bit harsh on Jair, put down with one of A.C.s regular moves like that, but it sell A.C. as a powerhouse, so depends on how you see it.
The final quarter-final is a great showcase for Meltdown and whoever comes through this will have a huge amount of momentum behind them being a semi-finalist. I’m really pleased these guys got a good match, and well done to Robina who came out looking really strong. Jace gets something to work with the finish, but it’s one of those occasions where it gave even more pertinence to the earlier segment with Robina going through. AJP v Robina – we’re guaranteed a female in the final.
Man, absent Evan is really getting the big sell. I feel a lot of the hype for this match is a bit last minute scramble, but enough has been done to make me want to read the match.
Envi vs. Jennings. Honestly, great match. I really enjoyed the whole storytelling, the submission battle was a fantastic addition. Reading it I was on the edge of my seat because I just couldn’t get a feel for who was going to win. It’s testament to the quality of the match writing that it was gripping, top-rung stuff and it didn’t resort to any flashy over the top spots either. This one should be a match of the year contender, but it won’t be because people always favour main events and violent stipulations. I will say if Jennings isn’t happy with this match then he’ll never be happy with anything because Jennings’ comes out of these match looking like the warrior he built himself up to be- even though he lost. Losing to Evan Envi is no shame, but to take him to the edge like that has to be something a character can build on. Great job, really great job.
This feels like something of a becoming for Robina Hood. It’s good to see the character taking the confidence from beating her ‘arch-enemy’.
Kash v Lively. I’m not saying it was a bad match, because it wasn’t, but it felt a bit flat to me, like something was missing. Maybe it was because I read it coming off a great high from the Overdrive Title match. Listen, I liked it but it wasn’t quite the FOUL explosion I expected from Kash v Lively. It also felt like there was a turn from Kash because the win felt redemptive, like beating Lively was Kash exorcising a demon.
That observation seems to be confirmed by the segment that follows.
Gates v Smith. Another fast-paced match that you felt could have gone either way. C.J. moves on.
The return of ‘The Future’ was a real surprise. Never saw that one coming. Welcome back!
AJP v Hood. Credit to Jeff, the match writing didn’t get stale. Another good match, and I think it was important to really put Robina over in defeat. That was done. She’s now kicked out of the Gypsy Kiss and The Makeunder in less than a month. Well done, AJP!
Red Scorpion vs. Emerald Assassin. I think it’s been commented elsewhere the Red opening could do with refreshing. This would be a great gimmick if every week the quote was replaced. Anyway...solid match, nice sell of the ‘superhero’ gimmicks. Good win for Emerald Assassin.
Straight into Gooch v Knox. Does anyone feel the word slobberknocker here? This is one of those mid-card gems that can easily go un-noticed. I like the intensity of the match, and nothing against Knox, but I’m pleased to see THE GOOCH pick up a PPV win- boy does he deserve it.
NA Title match. I won’t say too much about other than I enjoyed working with Hades, as brief as it was. Hopefully our paths cross again sometime. The post-match was interesting and it’s another hot return. I look forward to seeing how they work this one since there is no previous between Hades and Watson. I seem to remember Pence being an early mentor for Watson, so maybe there is a link there.
C.J v AJP. Great match, fantastic finish and it was good to see the New Sindicate involved. Overall I’m pleased with this outcome. Absolutely nothing against C.J. but this tournament is about building new stars, and I’m glad AJP gets the shot she’s been destined for.
Interesting segment from Watson, maybe would have been more suited to the SUPERSHOW, but it gave a bit of intermission between the main events.
Level-One vs. Terry Marvin. Oh brother, here we go! It was truly a battle of titans and the enormity of the match wasn’t underplayed. Terry retaining creates an interesting dynamic within the New Sindicate. Level-One doesn’t really come out having lost anything because he’s still the World Heavyweight Champion. The finish was a nice change because you don’t really see this too often in APW. I’m curious about how or if this changes the relationship between Level-One and Terry. You have to take your hat off to Terry, being the champion for a year is some feat in APW nowadays, especially when you consider the level of competition he has beaten: Kurt Noble, C.J. Gates, Biggs and now Level-One (and let’s not forget he beat Sally Talfourd to win last year’s T4TB). Incredible.
Overall, T4TB is a special show. I think after Survive & Conquer it’s my favourite. Great card top to bottom, and the only thing that you could say hurt it was a lack of a tag team match or two. But I like the emphasis on wrestling in this show, with not too much focus given to flashy stipulations or overly violent outcomes.
Finally, kudos to Jeff for that incredible match writing effort. It's not easy writing that many matches and keeping every match fresh and interesting. Hats off you, Sir!

Gov, my match was exactly that! Kash has changes coming and Lively helps make those changes. Hopefully down the road he can come back and really give that ''explosion'' this match should have had. I also had to sell the ribs and so it fit better one sided and the end was meant to be redemption feeling.
Still I totally get the under feeling of the match, hard to compete with Envi and anything if Envi writes it. Dude has match writing crack skills. Everyone wants a taste so hats off to him and Jennings for holding it down in their match. Best match of the night if not for TMarv/Level One which still has me in shock...

As for the Knox/Gooch match. I tried my best to equal the brutality and promote the hatred these two have for one another. It was gooch's idea with the broken forearm, he needed time off and this justifies it story wise. He wanted me to get the win but I thought it would build more heat around Knox to give Gooch the win and finish him off for a few weeks. When he returns we'll be picking up where we left off. After seeing some of the other matches so far this morning here and there, I feel I could have done a little better with the size considering the length of the others.

I thoroughly enjoyed this show from start to finish. It was a total honor to participate in Test for the Best, and I really dug every RP that was posted, so major, major props to all of the other participants. Of course, congrats to AJP on winning the whole enchilada and to C.J. Gates for getting as far as he did (beating me twice along the way! ). Great job all around. Outside the tournament, every match was well-written, but the Envi/Jennings and T-Marv/L-1 matches both rocked the proverbial casbah. Tip of the cap to all of our match-writers for producing top-notch stuff from top to bottom, and to everyone who sent segments as well. Fantastic show, as TFTB should be. Nice work, guys and gals!

Hopefully within the next 48 hours, I'll be able to get full feedback in on this as well.

C.J v AJP. Great match, fantastic finish and it was good to see the New Sindicate involved. Overall I’m pleased with this outcome. Absolutely nothing against C.J. but this tournament is about building new stars, and I’m glad AJP gets the shot she’s been destined for. Couldn't agree more. Part of me was hoping I wouldn't win. As great as it would be to win twice, it would have only worked had Gates never won the Undisputed title or I guess become as big as he is. The only gripe I have with it was the way the finals ended, if only because I'm a bit tired of losing matches because of interference . I get it, though, being the face, it just sucks to always see interference and realize that I'm about to lose (as was the case when Kane and Alexander were seen by me). I also figured, a tournament like this, would be neat to have the winner come away with the clean win. Hopefully the hard work doesn't go to waste, but we'll see what lies in store for Gates for Shockwave. As for the rest of the show: Hats off to everyone in the tournament. Everyone brought it with some excellent RPs and some good reads when I had the time. Really enjoyed working against some people I may never get to work against, so that was fun. Even in losses, a lot can come from early round exits, so to those that may not have done as well - don't fret. Just keep plugging along. A lot of well written matches, too. Envi/Jennings was well done as was Gooch/Knox and even Hades/GuvNor, and I guess I can see what Jules means by last minute build. With such a short turnaround, things might not have worked out time wise as one would hope. Luckily, a lot of time lies between now and Shockwave to build feuds so it shouldn't be a problem, as long as things are decided, match wise, early enough. Nice to see some come backs like Hades and Watson. Nice to have more 'vets' in the fold to help build APW even better then it is. Kudos to Jeff for the matches. Definitely helps when one person writes the matches for the tournament. Keeps it a secret and builds continuity and storytelling throughout. Well done. Overall, awesome show. Lots of interesting segments that might best be described as filler, but it's a PPV. It is what it is. Congrats to the winners! Big congrats to AJP for winning the tournament. Now go and beat Marvin!

I feel bad that I didn't get to rp for this tournament, just due to the competition level that was there...I will be honest you guys rocked the show and brought Test to a whole other level this year. I'm just glad I got here in time to read the matches and come back to the place that gave me my big first chance.
There were a lot of things that I expected to see happening at Test this year...for one I was rooting for C.J. (His big cowboy hat is an inspiration to me and every one else on Overdrive), but was quite surprised by A.J.P. claiming the win. The celebratory liquor is on me and yes you can even have my bottle because I don't drink anymore.
There were some matches that peaked my interest like: Emerald Assassin vs. Red Scorpion and Gooch vs. Knoxville which were both pretty solid matches. Then there were people that I thought would make it farther in the tournament like Robina (big fan btw!).
All in all it was a good show and I can't wait to be part of the next one! Keep up the good work and make all of us here at APW proud!

I'ma start off straight into the first match. Triple Threat thriller. Something about Logan hitting hurricanranas grabbed my eye reading this. A few times he went for one, with that counter by AJP that lead to a Back stabber/Powerbomb from the top combo? DAMN! I felt for Logan after that, hurt I don't give a damn. Haha. Good match though, a stellar opener for a night that was filled with sick dances.
Is it just me or is AC Smith's color just fantastic on these forums? It stands out perfectly and with Jack Spade's yellow, it's a beautiful combination. So fluid and easy to read. Very crisp segment, had a feel to it like you'd get with old backstage interviews. Direct and to the point but with a touch of History in there for newer people who didn't see last year's T4TB. He does it his way, very nicely done here.
The second Triple Threat I instantly went big eyed. Biggs, Gates and then Havok? I was feeling like DAMN here cause any of them could have done some damage advancing. Quickly this match got intense. Biggs hitting moonsaults like he impressing females and does, just doesn't know it. I can HEAR the fans screaming for spots in this match. From the moonsault to Biggs running Havok's balls into the corner (So unsportsmanlike Biggs!) and then the High Risk, Dangerous fucking German Suplex by Havok on Biggs (I clapped and said Payback for the Balls!) Then I see Havok going for the kill and smooth strolling comes in CJ Gates going Big like the G he is and steals the match. I gave this a literal clap, anyone of them could have advanced and it was a show.
So is Michael Jennings no longer a member of NBK? Kind of abrupt! I do like the Jennings/Raabies pairing though, a good combination of styles that fit together nicely. This new Manager/Agent is a nice touch as well however with someone like Jennings, he doesn't need the mouthpiece that a Manager/Agent should provide. Still a good change for looking ahead for Jennings.
I was really looking forward to seeing who Jair Hopkins was placed with in the opening round. I was both shocked and excited for Smith. The vertical suplex was classic! With Hopkins I always like to see Hops because I've always seen him as being a jumper and it was done well here. Jeff does a great job at capitalizing on the characters for what they are and how they are designed. Sucks both couldn't advance but one hell of a match no doubt and the Finish? BONKERS! I can visualize the entire arena exploding with that one and I felt like I was in the nose bleeds (cheap like that) and still rioting over the finish. Fantastic end.
I don't think people really grasp the strides Jace Savage and Robina Hood have made in their time on Meltdown. I've watched them, helped Jace even but the progression is nice to see from the newer talent. This was a legit match, good showing from both and it was written to show BOTH their will to prevail. Really the new class of Action is on the rise from Unforgiven to Chris Madison, Jace Savage, Brian Hollywood, Robina Hood, and I think the world of the new talent coming through the gate. I think without the growth of those who are new, we as vets struggle to find a future. So big props to all the new talent on the rise, keep that hustle and you'll see stars align one day. I got mine and if I can do it most can probably do it blindfolded.
With Lively/Kash I wanted an ass whooping and got one. I wanted to sell the damaged ribs of Kash going into this match, been trying to work a change of my own and this helps that tremendously. The finish was Kash pushing through the pain, the struggle, the hate, the love, the issues all around he's had and been apart of and exorcise those as the Season of J.A.S.O.N. rolls in and is now official! Hope it worked for people, I try even with shit belief in my own writing I still have a story to tell. Thank you for letting me do it here and express the interest in this game, this world in APW. Oh and KJE...Home Skillet, I'm glad to be mixing shit up again. I'll push forward smarter than before. Haha
AC Smith was manhandling Gates in what quickly became a beast of a match. To see Smith go high risk is great AND he nailed the Flying Elbow! That would kill most men's chest cavity! I enjoy this alot, it was almost like every match thus far has been high quality and done to fit the characters. It shows the experience that Jeff has in doing this and that alone is just awesome. I love how you had a Corner Punch count going, classic stuff like this should be done rarer these days but it fit big time here because both of these characters fit in any generation of eWrestling. Just solid characters and a solid match.
How Dr. Drew gonna make an appearance and no "Man Show" reference is made? What the fuck Washington? Then you come out to 2 Chains? SRRIOUS? Smh. Decent segment though, I wanted to see more from you before so I hope you get to give it a real go moving forward.
On the Red Scorpion Vs. Emerald Assassin match, I was a bit nervous writing it. I didn't want to fuck up Super Hero and Villain's first real big clash. I think someone mentioned Scorpion could change up his entrance and I fully agree. I also asked him if he could Code it instead of Quoting the entrance so it's easier to copy/paste. This was the ONLY struggle I ended up having as the match came better than I expected it to come. Hope both men enjoyed it. The green rock Scorpion pulled out could have been done better or not at all, maybe I over stepped my place just adding that but Super Hero, Man of Steel out in Theaters...Figured it'd be funny.
GOOCH! KNOX-VILLE! I love these two guys! I know Gooch is gone right now, not sure why exactly but what a guy! Did KnoxVILLE write this match? I think so by the looks of the writing. The broken forearm came as a surprise if not for being told about Gooch taking a LOA. I liked the setup for Knoxville to jump in with Envi and Jennings, guess that won't happen but it was a good setup for that.
Govnor Vs. Hades was probably the most surprising match of the night. I didn't have an expectation but it blew me away. Gov is a stud and Victor Hades came out of the wood work swinging them thangs like he never stepped away. Great match up, great promos for this match and it stunned me reading it. Congrats to Gov for this cause it was a blast to read and live through my imagination.
The Finals of T4TB was nail biting. Kind of predicted the Finals when talking with Gates the other day. I loved his promos and the only person I seen standing above what he did with the 2 written was AJP but it was close. Gates is a Headliner and will always be the Poser Boy, the Face APW is seen as being when I think of that position. AJP has become the better incarnation of Sally Talfourd to me. Might not be a popular choice of words but I stand by them as someone who's worked with both. Plus I can't hate her being the first Asylum name to win this event.
I can't even begin to unwind the thoughts for the Main Event. I'm not sure I've seen a cooler rp than Level One's 2nd promo. Just fantastic shit! I was pulling in that sticky green and didn't even notice my shit went out as I was reading. Just kept puffing on it, wanting to decide which to click to progress through the promo. That's not saying TMarv didn't come hard it's just that TMarv hardly ever comes weak, neither does Level One so for me I was seeing who came with something more creative. This was a clash that shook the fucking planet! If you haven't read this match, do so but do so after readin the promos cause it only advances the experience.
Overall I'd say this was once again another step up from the last PPV. Crazy cause the surface is changing so much now after this event that it might feel like a polar opposite next PPV but I'm excited about moving forward when I was someone ready to leave so I wouldn't be the cause of APW's issues and even though I wasn't in all areas I am glad to have the chance to remain and stick with things as we move to growing and moving the army of Action forward. Jeff you are the fucking MAN! Send this dude something for Christmas cause when he puts in time for this place, it's like NOTHING else online. It's why SO many flock to S&C and flock to join these rosters even with the problems we've had, I've had, we still push forward and I feel apart of this family. Everyone needs that fucked off Uncle who has some untreated mental issues. Thank you to everyone here who wants to remain and wants to make this place fun again. Really, SRRIOUS! Thank you from the bottom and top, the whole of my heart.
