After the show Hannah Storm caught up with Michael Jennings as he was headed to his car to head to the airport. APW.com film cameras were there and put this video up on the official APW Tout and Youtube.com channels after it was filmed.
Storm: Michael, any thoughts on tonight's match against Evan Envi?
Jennings turns to her and smiles the same sick smile he had after his match before responding to her inquiry.
Jennings: He may have won the match but he was spitting up blood after the match. That to me was MORE satisfying than winning some tin belt. That was the message I wanted to send. See everyone around here cares more about wins, losses, and titles than sending a message which is why a lot of people don't see the big picture.
Storm: And what is the big picture?
Jennings: That the visual message of leaving someone a broken, battered mess is what people will remember more than who won. That's what I said I was going to do and I delivered. I said I would kick his ass all over the arena and I did. I didn't say I would win, I said I would kick his ass. Those are two different things entirely.
Storm: Alright, and one last question. What are you going to apologize for tomorrow night?
Instead of answering Jennings points to a man who is walking up behind them. The man pulls Storm aside to answer the question as Jennings goes to his rental car and puts his bag in the trunk.
Man: On behalf of my client I will be answering this question. My client has said a few derogatory things about the fans this week. My client has been advised due to the negative fan reaction to these comments to apologize so we don't lose any of his corporate sponsorships. My client will be doing this on his own and came up with this without any pressure from me because unlike some wrestlers here my client is a free thinker and can think on his own. My client is a man of integrity who cares about the fans and he will do anything to show how much he respects the fan base because like them he is a fan himself. My client is going to apologize tomorrow night in the ring and you'll find out his true feelings about how much he cares about the fans tomorrow night. Now if you'll excuse me we have a flight to catch.
The camera pans over as Jennings is already in the car and turns on the ignition as the man gets into the passenger's seat with his bag. The man closes the door as the car drives off as he scene fades out.
