Sorry for the lack of activity on the board. I finally got hired on as a full-time diaper factory employee; which actually doesn't change my shifts, but it means a lot better pay, I get to work in the quality lab, and now I get benefits.
So, my schedule isn't changing at all, but I've been tied up in interviews and whatnot for the past week.
All systems should be go for next weekends Chamber. I already got one RP started, but mainly thought out.
Anywho, yeah, yay me.

Not only four years ago, but by now you would probaly be head shit in charge of the diaper factory...HA...I thought it was classic that you work in the quality lab...they have a lab were they test the quality of diapers...Matt...they don't have you try the things on do they...make you give poo samples....oh man...Dr. Matt testing the strength of diapers...the visual's are horrid.

They want all the guys in there to have degrees just so they know standard lab procedures. And whatever, laugh all you want, I'm making 20 bucks an hour once my probation period ends in January. And no, I don't have to shit in the diapers... I'm tempted to piss in one though.... |

There is no shame working in a diaper factory. Sounds like it pays well, and in this economy having a good paying job is far and few between. Is Canada's economy fucked like the good ole US of A?

Wow that is better pay than Iggy or me though they say I get around 20 an hour...okay hours I'm "payed for" not hours worked. Glad you got the job. Now is it a dirty job and could we be seeing you soon co-staring with Mike Rowe?

I seriously did dick all in my last two hours of work yesterday, and since it was Sunday, I was making time and a half.
I basically walk out to the production line every hour, pick up a bag of diapers off the conveyor belts, come back to the lab, either pour saline into it and see if it leaks, or cut it up and put it in this computerized pulling-apart thing and see when the glue bonds in the diaper tear.
It is so far removed from a dirty job. The place has to be clean because we're making hygenic products.

im just going to piggy back this thread. I was away and had no internet access for the last two weeks, but thats not going to happen ever again. I am sad, mostly because I really go through withdrawls when I can't make fun of Jeff or Matt so, its good to be back and for matt to be back. Chamber is going to be amazing. Read the rps.
