The scene opens up with President Jeff standing in front of a camera. Jeff: Tonight, marks the season Finale of Meltdown. Meltdown was designed to build the Megastars of tomorrow. Meltdown was designed to allow APW Megastars to shine. And Meltdown was designed to give every wrestler out there, a chance to be on an APW roster. However, due to issues beyond my control, The TV network we we’re on, decided they didn’t want to air Meltdown anymore.
After a board of directors meeting and a few phone calls, we decided, we would end Meltdown for the time being. Is this the end of Meltdown, who knows, it could be back. But for now, Tonight is Meltdown’s final show. And what does the ending of Meltdown mean. It means More action packed wrestling on Overdrive and Asylum. It means bigger and better television shows and Pay Per Views. It mean Expect the Unexpected.
Ladies and Gentlemen. History will be made tonight. Set your PVR’s. Grab a snack and a drink. Put your feet up and Enjoy the Meltdown Finale! The scene fades out and the into video to Meltdown begins to play. Once it ends, the camera pans though the crowd who are holding their signs up. The camera stops on the voices of Meltdown, Dick Harris and Shane West. West: For the last time, WELCOME TO MONDAY NIGHT MELTDOWN!Harris: Its gonna be a sad night and I’d be lying if I said that I won’t miss sitting next to you every Monday night calling the actions.West: Lets not get all mushy Dick. We still have a show to call and what a show it will be.Harris: Tonight, Marks the APW return of Sally Talfourd! We haven’t seen Sally in an APW ring since Survive and Conquer.West: Also tonight, Overdrive vs Asylum. CJ Gates and Jason Kash battle it out. Harris: And out main event, The North American Title will be on the line as The Gov’Nor defends against Robina Hood West: All this and more. Lets go to the ringThe arena lights flicker and the audience roars as "Helter Skelter" by the Beatles blares throughout the PA system. Several rise to their feet in ovation, while a few others are still unsure of how to react to the man prepared to burst through the curtains. West: What?!Harris: He's not supposed to be here! He's not with us anymore, is he?!West: I-- I thought not.The crowd roars as Jenny Knite bursts through the curtains, proudly displaying the APW Overdrive Championship on her shoulder. She has a microphone in hand and waves to a few fans that hold up signs, specifically dedicated to her-- though quickly pivots and turns her attention to the curtains at the top of the ramp. Jenny: Ladies and gentlemen... BROUGHT TO YOU by Sally Talfourd, herself...Jenny winks toward a few audience members that understand her cryptic words. Jenny: Please... For the last time on APW Monday Night Meltdown, GET OFF YOUR SEATS and WELCOME the hottest free agent in all of professional wrestling... Your APW Overdrive Champion, EVAN... ENVI!Envi, dressed in casual street attire-- a pair of khaki cargo shorts and a t-shirt which reads "ACOLYTES PROTECTION AGENCY", whatever that is-- bursts through the curtains, though stops abruptly to look out into the screaming masses. A small smile crosses his face and he looks from one end of the arena to the other. Harris: Haha, well, I'll be damned. He showed up. I wouldn't have bet money on that one.West: Would you stop?Envi pauses by Jenny Knite as she raises the Overdrive Championship, otherwise known as "Lady Overdrive" toward him. Evan leans forward and kisses the face of the Championship before turning and sprinting toward the ring, sliding inside, and jumping up to each corner of the ring, playing to the lively audience! West: And listen to this crowd! Have we ever HEARD a bigger ovation for Evan Envi on Meltdown?!Harris: Dooooon't it always seeeem to gooo-- thatcha don't know whatcha got til it's goooone...West: Oooh! They paved paradise...Harris: And put up a parking lot.West: Oooo-la-la-la-laaaa!Harris: Hey farmer, farmer, put away that DDT now! Ooo-la-la-la!West: Give me spots on my apples... But LEAVE me the birds and the bees!Harris: Pleeeee--eeeeaaaaa--eeease!Yo.Shane West and Dick Harris look up toward a producer-- a large, unsatisfied-looking man who shakes his head toward the two. Producer: ...What are you doing?West: Nothin'.Harris: Singin'.Producer: Alright-- well. Like. Can we not? Can we please take this time to get our sh-t together? Yes?West: We just got caught in the--Producer: Yes?Harris: It's the last epis--Producer: Yes?West: Okay. Yeah. I'm sorry.Harris: Terribly sorry.Producer: Alright? Cut it out. Are we done? Can we be done?West: We're done.Producer: Okay. The producer starts to turn from the two, but stops and turns back to Shane West and Dick Harris, giving them a look of disapproval, before turning to walk back toward the mysterious area he was summoned from. Meanwhile, in the ring, Evan Envi holds a microphone, juggling it from hand to hand as he looks around at the raucous crowd. Evan: Action Packed Wrestling-- it's been real. There is another cheer from the audience and Evan nods, pausing for a few seconds before continuing. Evan: I wanna thank you guys for giving me the best sixteen months of my professional career, and possibly of my life. It all started RIGHT HERE on Monday Night Meltdown because of two guys that deserve a LOT more credit than they're given-- President Jeff and Johnny Diamond. They let me come in here and put my... 'Past' behind me, and they let me start anew. And you guys let me start anew. You let me create Evan Envi, and--"EN-VI!"
"EN-VI!"
"EN-VI!" Evan smirks into the crowd, arching an eyebrow. He raises the microphone, once again, after a few moments. Evan: And you guys let me play the bad guy, which is something I've wanted to do since I was a kid, so thank you... For letting me do that. Thank you guys for being some of the most amazing fans in any organization that I've ever been a part of. You guys are friggin' ridiculous, and it's gonna be these tours, and these random crowds that chant for people that don't even WORK here-- that's what I'm gonna miss. I'm gonna miss people like you because you-- the APW Faithful-- you speak your minds. And that's awesome, because in this business, everyone claims to be CUTTING EDGE. Everyone wants to be CONTROVERSIAL. Everybody wants to run their mouth about anything and everything, as long as it gets them attention. As long as it makes them appear relevant.
...Truth be told, there are some guys in the back that I have absolutely no respect for. There are guys in the back that claim to be "outspoken" when in reality they're pretentious douchebags that have no value to the company.
Guys that decide to stick their dicks in every proverbial orifice that presents itself-- and find themselves castrated in the process. Because they're not as good as they say they are.
Guys that claim to be the best, but could never hang-- not even in their dreams. Guys that are destined to let you down...Evan turns toward the nearest camera and winks before turning toward the audience again. Evan: I'm talking about people like the Guv'Nor.The crowd boos loudly and Evan laughs a little, but shrugs innocently. Evan: I know. You guys love him-- and you should. He's good at what he does. He's a good wrestler. He's funny-- he's damned funny, but he's not what you think he is. He's not me.
...And y'know, there are some other people around here that claim to be the greatest, and claim that they're untouchable-- and that's something I can't let slide. As long as there are people like... Tommy Knox...The crowd boos at the mention of Knox and Evan moves toward the ropes and mumbles something to Jenny. She quickly hands him Lady Overdrive and Evan stands in the center of the ring, rising it above his head in his left hand. The crowd roars in approval. Evan: As long as people like Knox exist, then Lady Overdrive and I have a reason to come back to APW. I have something to fight for-- and as selfish as it sounds, what I'm fighting for is me. For once in my life, I'm not fighting for the people, or for a third party, or for Jeff. I'm fighting for Evan Envi. And I hope you're all in my corner...There is a pop to support Evan, who smiles again and gives a nod to the crowd. Evan: Meltdown made me. And some people might say in turn, I made Meltdown... But we all know that's not true. You guys made Meltdown. Every guy in the back made Meltdown. Michael Lively, Shadow, Jason Kash, Warren Peace, Young Mannie, Logan Alexander, Amy Zing, Niobe Martin, Jair Hopkins, the SOUL of Philly--There is a loud pop at the mention of former APW Tap-Out Champion, TJ and a very brief chant surfaces in the front row, earning a chuckle from Evan, who continues. Evan: I've seen the beginning... And I've seen the end... I've seen the end of Meltdown, and I've seen the end of my career here in Action Packed Wrestling, and--Evan pauses, only for a second, as boos surface throughout the crowd because of this. Evan: And I think... I think a few parting words can sum up my feelings for both of these occasions.Evan turns toward the camera again, and it slowly pans in, closer and closer toward his eyes. Evan: This isn't goodbye. This is simply the end of volume one. With that, Evan bends down to leave the microphone in the center of the ring. "Helter Skelter" hits the PA system and the audience cheers once more as Envi raises the Overdrive Championship above his head. He exits the ring and makes his way up the ramp alongside Jenny Knite. Harris: I don't get it. So-- he's gone? He's STILL leaving with our championship? Why is security not doing anything about this?West: Common sense leads me to believe that Sienna prevented it!Harris: Hrrrrrmmm... I don't like what he said about Knox. I thought Evan was supposed to be "The PR Guy!"West: I don't think anything he said was drastically different from what the people in this arena were thinking!Harris: Ugh. BIAS!We fade to black as Evan Envi and Jenny Knite take a bow at the top of the ramp before disappearing behind the curtains.

When we reach the ring, the crowd cheers and whistles for the lovely Nicky Paige, who stands with a smile on her face in the center of the ring. Nicky Paige: The following contest is a TRIPLE THREAT MATCH!West: What’s a better way to kick off the Meltdown finale than two APW Megastars? ...THREE!Harris: Maybe! The camera pans on Anthony Washington who raises his arms to the crowd, earning a pop. Paige: Introducing first, already in the ring, please welcome the returning “Future” ANTHONY WASHINGTOONNNN!The main arena lights go out, leaving only a blue light filling the arena as the opening strains of Comfort Eagle play over the loudspeakers. Mad Mumf steps onto the entrance ramp, in his ring gear and a sleeveless hoodie. Paige: Introducing his opponent, hailing from Long Island, New York, weighing in at two hundred and fifty pounds... MAAAAAAD MUMF!The hood's pulled over his head and his head is bowed down as he bounces on the balls of his feet to the beat of the music. As the tempo picks up he takes both hands yanks the hood off his head and throws his fists in the air as pyro goes off behind him on the ramp. He begins making his way to the ring, occasionally high fiving a fan before sliding in under the bottom rope. stretching his wrists and neck before awaiting his opponent. Paige: And their opponent...The arena goes dark and green lights start flashing at the entrance stage. 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons blasts on throughout the arena as the intensity of the flashing lights elevates. Joseph Johnson finally walks out onto the stage as lights of black and green flash around him. Joseph pauses on the stage and the lights stop flashing . A green neon light shines down over him, while a waterfall of pyro forms in a line across the stage directly behind him. West: Oh. Wow.Harris: He’s fancy, huh?Paige: Hailing from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at two hundred and thirty one pounds... JOOOSSSEEPPPHHH JOOOHNNNSOOONNN!Johnson does his usual taunt for the crowd and green pyrotechnics then explode from the stage down the ramp and to ring. Johnson walks down the ramp to the steel steps and then climbs into the ring. Johnson goes to the far corner and poses on the second rope as a shower of green pyro rains down around the ring, in front of him, behind him, to both sides, even on top of him. He gets down and goes over to the opposite corner to pose for that side as well, as the pyro keeps falling. He hops off the turnbuckle and walks to the middle of the ring with the rainfall of pyro finally ending. Triple Threat Match Anthony Washington vs Mad Mumf vs Joseph Johnson
West: There’s the bell!
Harris: Give me some intel on these guys, Shane-O.
The three men seem to have a difficult time deciding what to do-- before Mumf and Washington make the decision to go after Johnson! Johnson is rushed into the ropes and lit up with chops and forearms before he’s forced to retreat to the apron and then to the outside to the crowd’s dismay.
West: Well-- Joseph Johnson, who just ducked out of harm’s way, is scheduled to go one on one with Level One on Overdrive this Thursday! Anthony Washington is somebody that was with us here on Meltdown before, and garnered a huge following in his short time, then was drafted to Overdrive before being sidelined with an injury-- and Mad Mumf-- well, I have very little info on this guy. I know he spent several years in the military before being discharged for... Unknown reasons.
Harris: Sounds like a traitor to me!
Washington is prepared to go outside after Johnson, but Mumf grabs him in a rear waist-lock and throws him to the mat with a Belly to Back Suplex!
Harris: See?!
Mumf races Washington to his feet and blocks an incoming punch. He drives a kick to Washington’s gut and Irish Whips him into the ropes, catching him with a Sidewalk Slam upon the rebound! He turns his attention toward Joseph Johnson, who is on the apron again-- but Johnson drops down as Mumf runs at him, going for a Lariat! He holds his hands up defensively and Johnson turns around again, but this time he eats a Running Dropkick from Washington! Mumf hits the ground and scrambles to his feet, staggering groggily toward the corner. Washington charges him again, going for a Stinger Splash-- but Mad Mumf captures with a Flapjack onto the top turnbuckle! Washington collapses in a heap in the corner.
West: Jaw-first off the top turnbuckle-- but look, here’s Johnson!
Mumf turns around into a Faceplant DDT from Joseph Johnson! Mumf crawls to his knees and back to his feet, but Johnson captures him on his shoulders and charges toward the corner, flipping to plant Mumf with a Fireman’s Carry Steamroller! Mumf then charges Anthony Washington who has reached his feet in the corner and delivers a hard knee to his gut! He drags Washington out of the corner and lifts him up for a Suplex-- before dropping him across Mumf’s ribs with a Falcon Arrow! The crowd cheers for the display and Johnson kicks Washington off of Mumf and covers Mumf, hooking both legs!
1 . . . 2 . . Kickout!
Immediately, Joseph dives off of Mumf and on top of Washington, hitting him with a few forearms to the skull for good measure before hooking both legs.
1 . . . . 2 . . . . Kickout!
West: Good idea-- but it didn’t work out the way Johnson wanted it to there.
Harris: If you’re Level One right now, and you’re watching this, what are you thinking?
West: I don’t know what Level One is thinking these days, especially after the actions to conclude last Thursday’s Overdrive. Maybe Joseph Johnson can beat some answers out of our World Heavyweight Champion this week! Look-- he’s got Washington up-- and what a beautiful German Suplex!
Harris: And a second!
West: And-- wait!
Johnson goes to hit Washington with a third German Suplex, but he looks up just in time to see Mad Mumf charging at him, going for an Enzuigiri! Johnson dives out of harm’s way with less than an inch to spare, and Mumf’s boot collides with Anthony Washington! Washington spins and hits the ground, roughly. Mumf turns and reaches for Johnson again, lifting him up into a Torture Rack position before signaling for the end!
West: Mumf is going for that move he calls the Death Sentence! That Inverted Death Valley Driver!
Mumf goes for the Inverted DVD, but Joseph Johnson sloppily lands on his feet and drops down to the canvas, rolling out of the ring, escaping Mumf as he reaches for him! Mumf glares at Joseph Johnson who backs up the ramp, shaking his head and grinning a bit. He yells something back at the ring, and all the camera can audibly pick up is “WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!” Mumf rolls his eyes and turns his attention away from Johnson, but suddenly, Mumf is rolled up by Anthony Washington!
Harris: Out of nowhere!
West: Small Package! Joseph has left the ring and Washington’s gonna steal one from Mad Mumf!
1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . THRRRE-- Kickout!
There is an applause at the athleticism needed to power out of such a predicament. Anthony Washington and Mad Mumf race to their feet again, and this time, it’s Washington that’s caught in the Torture Rack position, but only for a moment, as he’s driven face-first to the mat with an Inverted Death Valley Driver! Clutching his ribs and groaning, Washington rolls onto his back. Mumf points at Johnson, who has now reached the top of the ramp. Mumf exits the ring to the apron and ascends to the top turnbuckle. He leaps off for a Shooting Star Press...
West: Death From Above!
Mumf crashes down across Anthony’s ribs and hooks the near leg, while leaning back to keep a distant eye on Johnson. The referee makes the count.
1 . . . . 2 . . . . 3!
The bell rings and “Comfort Eagle” hits the PA system again while Mumf rolls to his feet and allows the referee to raise his hand in victory.
Paige: Here is your winner... MAAAAD MUMF! Harris: Hate the name. LOVE the style.West: Impressive win by the unknown factor in this match, Mad Mumf. Tonight, he reigns victorious! But one has to wonder-- what’s up with Joseph Johnson?Johnson gives Mumf a short applause before disappearing into the back. Mumf gives him an odd look, but goes back to celebrating to the crowd as his music continues to blare throughout the arena. Harris: Maybe he just doesn’t wanna risk injury going into a match against the World Heavyweight Champion?West: Maybe. But whatever the case, Mad Mumf sent a message to the entire APW locker room tonight!Meltdown goes to commercial

The show goes backstage to where Michael Jennings is standing by with his manager Robert Hamilton. Jennings looks sad as he begins to speak. Jennings: This is the last Meltdown show…He wipes a crocodile tear away before continuing. The sadness was obviously a ruse to play mind games with the crowd. Jennings: What a sad day this is. Almost as sad as the day that I found out that Santa Claus wasn’t real. That was a sad day indeed and there’s a few people around here who just recently found out that Santa Claus wasn’t real. The gifts that keep on giving have been taken away and now the remnants of a once great federation are being recycled ti help rebuild a once great federation into what it once was. A federation with legends like you Johnny Rebel. You’ve seen it all since you’ve been here. You’ve been here for the good and the bad which makes you a man who I respect. I only give respect when it is earned and that’s why I wanted this match. Tonight is about a matter of respect and I will beat you. Mark my words, Rebel. I will beat you…He walks off screen with Hamilton as the scene fades out and we go back to ringside. Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fall
The cheesy dance beat of Michael Jackson's Pepsi Generation plays throughout the arena. The aisle is lit with special Pepsi logo spotlights. Billy Pepsi emerges on the ramp with a goofy grin on his face and a bottle of Pepsi. He takes a swig and gives an enthusiastic thumbs up before vigorously charging to the ring. Paige: Introducing first, from Happy Valley Newfoundland, Weighing in at 191 pounds, he is BILLY PEPSI!!
Pepsi slides under the bottom rope and stands in the center of the ring. He takes another swig of Pepsi then does a standing backflip. Billy then drops to his knees holds the Pepsi label out to the camera and flashes a pearly white toothy grin. West: This folks, is the match that never took place at MayhemHarris: And now we get to see it here for Free!
a bright white begin flashing on the otherwise blackened out Jumbotron. With each fading word, a new word pops up on the screen. CAN
YOU
HEAR
ME
NOW!?!As the last word fades, all five words reappear on the jumbotron at once. CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!?!The lights slowly come back on as 'Hear Me Now' by Hollywood Undead begins to play through the speakers as Roy Speede steps out on stage with Alex Haden at his right. Speede crosses his arms in an X across his chest, with his right arm underneath his left, and his hands in his fists. He bows his head for several seconds, and his chin rests in the gap between his fists. Paige: Introducing, from Richmond, Virginia and accompanied by Alex Haden, Action Packed Wrestling's own Silver Lining, he is ROY SPEEEEDE!!Roy drops his right arm, and raises his left arm in the air, with his pointer, middle, and pinky fingers extended, and his ring finger and thumb tucked into his palm, and Haden does the same; he drops his arm, and begins walking toward the ring with Haden following, high-fiving fans as he goes, before climbing onto the apron, and then climbing the outside of the turnbuckle. Haden walks around the outside of the ring as Speede raises his left arm, with the same fingers extended as when he was on stage. He leaps from the turnbuckle into the ring. West: I expect a fast paced match here Harris: It should be a good one SINGLES MATCH Billy Pepsi Vs Roy Speede

Roy hits the ropes again and Billy rolls to his back, brings his feet up into Roy’s mid-section and throws Roy across the ring. Roy gets up and Billy takes him down with an arm drag and locks in the arm bar. Roy fights the pain and then gets to his feet, does a handspring and then grabs Billy’s arm and twistes it, quickly going into a hammerlock and into a side headlock. Billy takes Roy to the ropes and throws him off into the ropes and takes Roy down with a drop toe hold. Billy quickly get up, hits the ropes and catches Roy in the face with a baseball slide.
West: We expected fast pace in this match and that’s what we got early on.
Harris: Billy got Roy good with that baseball slide.

West: Roy almost sneaked out the victory on that one
Harris: Billy needs to stay on Roy.
Billy grabs Roy and gives him a northern lights suplex in the middle of the ring and bridges for a cover 1 . . . 2 . . . Kick Out.
Billy takes Roy to the corner and gives him a chop and throws him to the opposite corner. Billy runs, catches Roy with a clothesline, grabs him in a headlock and gives Roy a running bulldog out of the corner. Billy covers 1 . . . . 2 . . . Kick Out.
Billy picks Roy up and scoop slams him in the middle of the ring. Billy climbs to the top rope.
West: Billy is going for a high risk move here.
Harris: Will it all pay off?

Billy is up and Roy runs, taking him down with a clothesline, and then another and then a dropkick. Harris: Hold on a second!
Roy gets up and cuts Billy off on the top rope with a punch. Roy climbs up from inside the ring and the two begin exchanging blows. We’re backstage, watching as the Meltdown finale unfolds. There’s an atmosphere quite unlike any other show - a sweet melancholy. All the workers rush around like any other show, but they do so with an extra sense of urgency. Nothing can go wrong as we all wish Meltdown farewell. As we look around in the doldrums of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, we find none other than Asylum megastar, tag team champion, and all-round good guy Anthony Bailey high-five his fellow tag team champion Jair Hopkins, and then head off in different directions. Suddenly ... a wild Sally appears! Sally: Bailey!!!She rushes him with a hug before he can react. When it finally sinks in, Bailey seems about as happy as Sally at this little reunion. After a moment, they break off, Sally beaming a smile and Anthony looking a tab embarrassed. Anthony: Sally, you’re back! Sally: I am, I am. At least for tonight. Anthony: You just couldn’t stay away, huh? Sally: From you? Anthony: No ... I mean, I mean from APW. Not me, no. APW, and wrestling here. Definitely not me. There’s an awkward moment, then Sally bursts into a giggle. She pats Anthony on the shoulder, then composes herself as Bailey looks just a little more embarrassed. Sally: Relax, Bails! I’m just playing. You’re right about that: I couldn’t stay away. I couldn’t stay away from a big night like this! Meltdown deserves one great, big send-off and I wanted to be part of that. Anyway, you’ve been keeping busy it seems ... Sally catches the strap of Bailey’s belt that hangs over his shoulder, giving it a tug. Bailey has to hold onto it, then shifts it back so that it doesn’t all come tumbling to the floor. Bailey: Tag team champs, Jair and I. Second time, as well. We picked them up and Rasslemania and, well, they’re not going anywhere soon. We’re looking to reestablish the tag team division here: Raise the standard and deliver to the fans. Sally: So the Dying Breed isn’t doing too much dying, huh? Sounds like you’re all thriving! But, you know ... Bailey: Know what? Sally looks around, then steps in close. She lowers her voice. Bailey steps nearer again, lowers his ear nearer to her. Sally: Well, not to tarnish those good belts but ... why haven’t you won the Undisputed Title yet? You know, Terry Marvin is here now. That would be a big scalp for you ... The two step away, Sally with a grin and Bailey with a look of consternation. He shifts his belt again, though certainly not because it was about to fall. It suddenly feels a lot eavier, and a lot brighter. Bailey: Well, you know, I don’t want to just cut and run from Jair. That would be selfish. And beside ... Terry Marvin? He’s in a class of his own right now. It would take a lot of work to win that belt from him. Sally nods, then shrugs. She pats Bailey on his free shoulder once more, then throws a smile his way. Sally: Well, whatever you do I’m sure it’ll be the best. Listen, let’s catch up after the show! I’m so out of the loop around here and with what’s happening on Asylum. Come find me when it’s all over, yeah? Bailey nods with a grin. Sally darts in with a kiss to Bailey’s cheek (which leaves him a little stunned), and then starts to skip off. Bailey just stands there for an extra moment, not sure exatly what just happened. Then, just as suddenly as it ended, he is brought back to reality. Sally: Hey Bailey! He spins on his heels, catching Sally before she heads into the locker room. Sally: You were in a class of your own once. And, with that final seed sewn, Sally disappears into the room, leaving Bailey to stand there and try and sort out what all that was about. #SIMPLY F'N PUT! A recorded voice comes over the loud speaker and "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple blasts over the PA. Johnny Rebel comes out in a gold robe shimmering in the lights. "SIMPLY PUT" is written in silver on the back. His blonde goatee is neatly trimmed and blonde hair is freshly cut; his eyes hidden behind dark sunglasses. #IT'S TIME TO PAY THE PRICE! The crowd has come unglued in their hatred for Rebel. He gets to the ring and pulls a camera man down to the ground and on all fours as Rebel uses him as a stepping stone to get in the ring. He takes off his robe to reveal his gold tights and tasseled white boots. He poses on the second turnbuckle with both hands held high. Paige:Introducing first from Chicago Illinois weighing 234lbs he's Johnny Rebel!!!Shane West: And the return of Johnny Rebel.Dick Harris: Yeah and he's looking to end Jennings momentum here in our final show...ever."Descent" by Fear Factory starts playing over the loud speakers as the man known as Michael Jennings comes out from the back to loud cheers wearing all black ring tights and ring jacket in a much more dark, sinister look than he's had in the past. In his mind APW is heading toward Armageddon and he's chosen ring attire to match the impending darkness that he sees on the horizon. Michael ignores the fans who are cheering him and continues to the ring with a walk of determination and a look of hate on his face. He looks like he wants to hurt somebody. The crowd cheers him as he enters the ring and starts posing. The music stops playing as Michael gets ready for a fight. He goes over to his corner, takes off his ring jacket to hand to one of the ringside personnel, and waits for the bell to sound. Paige: And his opponent from Los Angeles. California weighing 240lbs... Michael Jennings.Dick Harris: He's riding high after beating Biggs on Overdrive last week.Shane West: He appears to have found his four lear clover as of late.Dick Harris: Lucks for Losers and he's no loser like you Shane. SINGLES MATCH Johnny Rebel vs. Michael Jennings
Ding!!! Ding!!!
The match is underway. Johnny Rebel lunges his body towards Michael Jennings, Jennings stops him from taking him down by grabbing hold of each of his arms. Rebel responds to this by grabbing the arms of Jennings being and just manages to push the arms of Mike away, he then lunges at the mid section of Rebel, talking him. Johnny falls with Jennings on top of him, Michael hits Simply Put with punches to the face, Right, Left, Right, Left. Eventually the referee pulls Jennings off Johnny Rebel who sits up with one hand on his face
Dick Harris: That amount of punches to the face from Michael Jennings must really hurt Johnny.
Shane West:I know, I felt some of them from here, and we are a good 5m away.
Dick Harris: And aren’t you glad we are that far away.
Shane West:Yes I am, imagine how the ref feels having to get between those two Megastars, I know if I was refereeing this match I would be high tailing it up the ramp round about now.
Dick Harris:You would make such a terrible referee.
Shane West: That's not what your mother said.
Dick Harris: Coming from the likes of you I doubt she said it.
Johnny Rebel is up against the turnbuckle with punches from Michael Jennings being thrown into his gut and chest. He stops momentarily and Simply Put falls. Jennings then gets him back up leaning him against the turnbuckle; stepping back Jennings begins a run up, he charges at Johnny Rebel going for a spear into the ring post. Rebel sees this coming and moves out of the way just in time, Michael charges straight into the ring post, hitting his head on one of the covered pads.
Dick Harris:Im sure he is lucky that those pads are there.
Shane West:They are there for a reason and these are the kind of moves that they are there for.
Michael Jennings stumbles and falls to the mat. Johnny Rebel stands in the middle of the ring and does his usual taunt, making his hands raise in the air soaking up boos and some cheers and shouting to the crowd as they shout back at him. With Jennings still grounded Rebel climbs the ring post; standing tall at the top he hits a Chicago Crux, a very crafty top rope leg drop. He then hooks the leg of Jennings and goes for a pin.
Shane West:Can this be over before it has even started Dicky?
Dick Harris:Maybe it will be, so lets find out.
The ref slides by the side of “Simply Put” Johnny Rebel and begins to start the count.
1 . . . . 2 . . . .
NO!!!!
Kickout again from Michael Jenning.
Dick Harris: I really don’t know how he is doing this I really don’t.
Shane West: You might be looking that a rise of a real tough s.o.b in Jennings. Love or Hate him.
Johnny Rebel rolls off Jennings with a disgruntled look on his face, he gets back up, with Immortal still on the mat, he see’ his chance to win the match for sure, he climbs the turnbuckle. He goes for another Chicago Crux, the top rope legdrop on Jennings, But Michael rolls out of the way, leaving Simply Put to come to contact with the mat. Jennings gets up after evading the Chicago Crux and grabs the legs of Rebel, He locks in a modified boston crab , pulling the legs of Johnny Rebel backwards whilst sitting on his back.
Shane West:That has got to hurt.
Dick Harris: Yes it has it does hurt a lot for Johnny Rebel. Haha.
Simply Put reaches for the ropes, growing ever closer to reaching them, until with the referee by his head spurring him on he manages to grab onto one of them. The referee tells Jennings to let go of the hold, he ignores him. The referee begins to count once more.
1 . . . 2 . . . . 3 . . . 4 . . . Jennings releases the hold just in time, Rebel’s legs drop to the mat as his opponent steps away from him.
Shane West:That was close , he was nearly disqualified.
Dick Harris:Nearly is the key word.
Jennings drags Rebel into the middle of the ring, he jumps into the air and lands an elbow drop on chest of Simply Put, Michael Jennings gets up once again and hits a leg drop to the upper body of Johnny Rebel.
Dick Harris: My main man in the drivers seat.
Shane West: Don't count Rebel out.
Dick Harris: Rebel.... Who?
Jennings locks in an leg lock on Rebel’s right leg, but once again after moments of trying he manages to reach for the ropes and grab them. Rebel keeps the hold locked in once again. Like last time the referee starts counting.
1 . . . . 2 . . . . . 3 . . . . . 4 . .
Jennings releases the hold once again on four. Jennings grabs Rebel’s arm and lifts him up, he Irish whips him into the ropes nearest to the announcer’s desk, he waits for Rebel to run back to him, when he does he grabs his arm and hoists him onto his shoulders with hold of both arms in submission.
SONIC SCREWDRIVER!!!
Dick Harris: That's got to be it
Shane West: I think so....
Michael Jennings covers Johnny Rebel , the referee begins the count.
1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . 3
DING! DING! DING!
Winner: Michael Jennings Jennings music hits and the ref raises his arm in victory Dick Harris: Yes bitches that's the future of the APW in the flesh.Shane West: Okay, but look at this poor Rebel.Jennings celebrates as we go to commercial

Backstage Hannah Storm is seen knocking on the locker room door to Jace Savage. Wanting a word with one of the NewGen Rising members but she receives no response. She turns and shrugs but then her eyes shoot to the side as Jason Kash comes into her line of view. He steps into the scene and smiles for the camera. Jason Kash: Hannah! How's it going chick?Hannah Storm: I'm..Good?He places an arm around her and pulls her in for a side hug before letting her go. She seems nervous, scared knowing that Kash has terrorized her in the past. She moves to put a bit of distance between them but decides to question Kash about his upcoming match. Hannah Storm: So..How do you feel tonight? Are the ribs holding up?Jason Kash: Yeah my ribs are good! I'm good! You know, since July started I've been feeling like a Million bucks! Ask Kaylyn, we argued the other day and she got mad cause I was smiling. I'm just in a GOOD place right now!Hannah Storm: Will that affect you in your match with Overdrive MegaStar, CJ Gates later tonight?Jason Kash: Heh. Nah! I'll go out there, he'll come next and we'll put on a show. I've put on a few in Meltdown's short lived history but this is by far the biggest match I'll be involved with. Gates is THE MAN or at least was considered such by me. It's an honor to be out there with him. It'll be an honor to get my hand raised as well..Hannah Storm: So you're confident about winning then? Foul Play was promised a Contenders Match for the Tag Titles against Natural Born Killaz, with Titan being out of the promotion, do you feel you've been taken out of the Tag Title picture?Jason Kash: Not really. I go with the flow, whatever they want to put before me works for me. I'm not a hard guy to understand, you could say I'm Simple. I know what I want and I know the pieces I have to place to get there. I'll be alright regardless. Reaver though? Hah, not sure he'll ever be "alright" he's just a crazy bastard but that's another story.Hannah Storm: Well I appreciate the time Jason, Reaver creeps me out and this has been Hannah Storm, let's head back to ringside!Like a fool, Kash waves to the camera as it fades and jumps back to ringside. The silence of the crowd stirs around the atmosphere of the arena as it suddenly becomes disturbed by the sound of a horrific and deafening scream, a white mist begins to seep through from the ramp way, its swirling life source, only to cast itself lovingly into the air and towards the stage. The crowd looks on worried, each and every face being filled with simple fear as their hearts beat rhythmically with the bright-sensitive flickering lights of death… a sickening blue light only to swoon over the crowd. Just as any search light does when picking sight of its criminal… another one only to follow it in its quest. Suddenly a large circle of fire arises in a quick counter-clockwise motion, before exploding upwards as a tall dark figure appears within the center of the flames. Followed just seconds later by the pounding beats of "Murmaider II: The Water God" performed by Dethklok, as it blares across the helpless PA system. The lights remain dim and the searchlight is fixated upon Hades who moves along the stage, while rain begins to descend from the rafters along the ramp and over the ring. ,Exhaling calmly he moves casually down the ramp way with the bright white light behind him, as he remains restrained beneath the black straight-jacket secured across the front clinging tightly to his masculine frame. Stepping to the edge of the ramp Hades gets a running start before leaping into the air, simultaneously as Hades flips and rolls over the middle rope, while all four turnbuckle posts are lit up by the explosive pyrotechnics as they erupt. Suddenly like a crazed lunatic Hades bangs his head into the canvas and snaps his head back, before slowly rising to his feet and scanning the crowd. Hades moves to the center of the ring as the rain falling overhead stops, overlooks the crowd in disgust and calmly exhales turning to the stage awaiting his opponent...
Paige: Introducing first from The city of Angels weighing 260lbs Victor Hades.
Dick Harris: And this is the final time we'll see this impressive specimen.
Shane West: Mixed feelings as he scares me.
As Josh Turner's "Long Black Train" begins to play, "The Evangelist" Jerry Matthews strides down the aisle in a suit and tie. In his hand, he carries a Bible and begins his regular sermon as he ventures down to the ring. His spiritual liaison, Deacon Jeremiah, accompanies him to ringside with an offering plate, ready to collect money from any believers in the crowd. As he gets to the ring, he climbs through the ropes and removes his suit. He then raises his Bible in a preachly manner to the crowd as they boo incessantly.
Paige: And his opponent from Redemption, Alabama weighing 275lbs....Jerry Matthews.
Shane West: Mhm don't know how this will end.
Dick Harris: Jesus Freak vs. The son of Satan.... This should be good indeed. SINGLES MATCH Victor Hades Vs Jerry Matthews
Victor Hades takes the brunt force of of chops from Jerry Matthews as the crowd begins wooing. The Evangelist throws Hades over his head and lets him hit the outside floor and then laughs with a sick grin. Hades gets up and then slides in the ring going back to attacking Matthews' mid section. Hades runs forward toward Jerry Matthews but gets a drop toe hold down to the canvas. Jerry measures this clearly demonic specimen and then strikes him down with a huge kick toward his mid section.
Shane West: He's wasting no time in going after Victor Hades.
Dick Harris: You got to take these freaks head on partner.
Shane West: Really?
Dick Harris: Absolutely!!!
Matthews begins stomping onto Victor Hades with ease and does not let up as he intends to harm him . Matthews is trying to be an unstoppable force as he's not the type to lose to a friend or foe. Jerry Matthews begins to strangle Victor and the ref starts to count to five on him....
1 . . . . . . . .
2 . . . . . . .
3 . . . . . . . .
4 . . . . . .
The Evangelist lets him go as the referee almost disqualifies him. Jerry eyes Victor Hades clearly with vicious intent on him.
Dick Harris: Come on Victor! Fight back.
Shane West: I think he's trying just getting smothered by Jerry's offense.
Hades gets up and lets Jerry Matthews receive a massive clothesline that flips him inside out as the crowd grimaces at the sight of it. Hades then picks up Jerry Matthews over his head looking for a military press slam yet Jerry Matthews gets out.
Shane West: Resilient isn't he.
Dick Harris: Damn it you got to man up.... Get him Hades.
Jerry Matthews begins kicking at the legs of The demonic hades before hitting a reverse DDT onto him. Matthews then continues to attack Victor and whips him with great force against the ropes. Hades comes back and Matthews with a hip toss nails it perfectly. Matthews then suddenly kicks Victor'ss knees from under him after he tries to get up.
Dick Harris: Cutting down his legs... No!
Shane West: I'm afraid he's doing just that Dicky.
Jerry then bounces off the ropes and hits a big running splash upon him. He picks up Victor Hades who is now vulnerable but not yet ready to be put away and Hades pushes him away. Victor is bounced off the ropes and rushes forward into a clothesline no!!! He ducks the clothesline and springboards off the ropes for a Sin-ical Behavior but The Evangelist has him in his clutches. Jerry runs forward and slams his demonic opponent down with a Hammer Of God crushing him against the canvas. Jerry throws Hades around and then goes for a running boot.
Shane West: I can't watch.
Dick Harris: Me either.
Victor hades with a quick roll out of the way and he then leg sweeps the his foe down and he crashes on the mat with immense force. The sheer agony on the face of the collapsed Jerry Matthews is shown as Hades begins to stomp on him utter quickly. Hades picks Matthews up and hits him two spinebusters and tries to go for three. But Jerry pokes him in the eyes and nails him with a solid right hook.
Dick Harris: I guess Jerry's a boxer.
Shane West: No, he just knows how to punch obviously.
Jerry Matthews gets out of his boxing stance and locks up with his Victor Hades. They start shifting around the ring and Hades pushes his possible victim backward. Jerry rushes at Hades but gets elbowed and then kneed in the stomach. Victor shouts at Jerry before twisting around pele kicking him into the canvas. Hades starts kicking at the carcass of Matthews until he gets tripped into a leg lock.
Shane West: Smart by Matthews to take him down like that.
Dick Harris: I guess it's effective for...now.
Jerry Matthews wrenches back showing Hades that he could hang with him and as well as the crowd. Victor elbows Jerry in the rib cage and he has to the relinquish the said hold.
Dick Harris: Crafty with that elbow Vic.
Victor Hades and Jerry size each other up before Jerry smacks Hades clear across his face. Then he motions toward the crowd mouthing how great he is. Victor tries to take The Evangelist down with a big double underhook powerbomb but he slips out. Jerry with an arm bar onto Victor Hades and he wrenches back. The wrench drives Victor Hades to the mat with a reverse version of the russian legsweep, pain shoots through Hades and up goes Jerry Matthews. He looks to take out Hades with a diving clothesline aka Angel's Flight. Victor catches Matthews mid air with a Throat Spike!
Shane West: Jesus, where did that come from.
Dick Harris: Straight from hell for that altar boy Matthews.
That was Epic the crowd starts chanting as Hades knees his opponent in the sternum. Jerry retaliates tripping Hades and gripping his ankle in a spin toe hold. Hades kicks Matthews in the shin and he launches himself on one leg onto him with a cross diving shoudler tackle. And Hades goes for the cover.....
1 . . . . . . .
2 . . . .
Jerry kick out!!!
Dick Harris: Hades had him.
Shane West: Yeah looked like it.
Jerry then lunges at Victor Hades but gets tossed up to the outside, but Jerry kind of skins the cat. Jerry Matthews bounces off the ropes and gets a harsh looking chop and an attempt at a Close Casket! But The Evalengist just ducks and Victor Hades is off balance eating knees to his stomach.
Shane West: Victor was going for the kill.
Dick Harris: And that he was.
Jerry Matthews then goes to the adjacent apron and shouts. Soaring off the ropes into a big top rope diving splash across Victor Hades and tries a pin but its two and a half.
1 . . . . . . . . .
2 . . . . . . .
No!!!! Hades gets a shoulder up.
Dick Harris: Yes!!!
Shane West: And Victor Hades hangs on in this match up here.
Jerry argues with the ref as Hades rises when Jerry attempts to punch the referee there's a tense in his fist. Hades grabs Jerry's fist and then twists it before elbowing his jaw. The crowd chants in approval as he does a haunting taunt as Jerry Matthew comes forward. And Victor Hades sidesteps him and an array of kicks to Jerry's gut followed by a swinging neckbreaker.
Dick Harris: The end is near.
Shane West: Already...
Victor Hades goes the big move well at least he thinks but he gets his knees clip form beneath him by Jerry Matthews. Jerry smiles and rolls up Hades but he somehow rolls out from the attempt at a roll up pin by Jerry Matthews. Hades eyes seem to go much awkward as usual as Jerry Matthews goes six feet under with …..
CLOSED CASKET!!!
1 . . . . . . . . . .
2 . . . . . . . . .
3
Winner: Victor Hades
Paige: The winner of this match up by result of a pinfall is Victor Hades!!Dick Harris: Mucho gracias Hades for a hell of an evening. Shane West: Yeah, he sure as hell scared him a win tonight.
Victor Hades kneels in the center of the ring looking around. His eyes are fully creepy and blood oozes from out this man's mouth.

He hails from LA, California...JAAACEEE SAAAVAAAGGE!!Indestructible plays as The NewGen Rising makes their way from the back. Ron Rufio, Brian Hollywood, and Jace Savage walk out onto the stage. The crowd cheers as they make their way to the ring. Each member goes to a different set of stairs, located at each corner of the ring. All three members walk up the stairs at the same time, They wipe their feet on the ring apron and climb in between the ropes. Rufio and Hollywood go to opposite corners on the same side of the ring, Jace stands on the middle rope in between them. The fans cheers more as they raise their arms, and play it up for the crowd. Jace asks for a mic, and the ring announcer brings him one. Jace: I promised a new member to the NewGen Rising, and I have to say I'm happy to announce that he is here tonight!Jace pauses and listens to the fan's cheers before looking to the other members of NewGen Rising with a smile. Jace: And as a man of my word...he will now make his way to the ring and introduce himself. The crowd goes silent and waits for a few seconds until all of the lights in the arena go out. The crowd remains silent as "Light Up The Sky" by Thousand Foot Krutch begins to play and the entire ramp is engulfed in a bright white light. The drum's rhythmic beat takes the crowd to new highs and the fans begin to jam out to it until: Voice: Watch me light up the sky! The fans recognize the voice as a figure emerges from the light which fades as the house lights come back on Nick Watson standing on the entrance ramp, hopping up, and down wearing a NewGen t-shirt. He stops hopping and pumps his arm three times, each pump signaling a pure white pyro that shoots from the stage out into the air. The fans are deafening in "Watson" chants as Nick makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands, and even stopping to take a few pictures with his fans. The members of the NewGen Rising nod their head in approval as Nick enters in through the middle rope and joins them in the ring. Nick stops to shake hands with each and every member and then looks around the arena, nodding his head to the beat, and enjoying the buzz he is receiving. A "NewGen" chant fills the arena as Nick pauses and looks at Jace, who holds out the microphone he is holding, and Nick doesn't even need to be signaled twice as he snatches it greedily. The fans continue to chant "NewGen" as Nick gets ready to give some sort of speech to the NewGen fans and his Sensationalites. Nick: Man does it feel good to be here standing in front of all these adoring fans here in Biloxi, Mississippi! The fans cheer some more, this time giving some "Watson" chants, and Nick pauses, all to willing to allow them to cheer him on. Nick: I'm honored of course by you, the fans, and of course to my new team mates. Nick gestures at his new comrades who grin a bit and Nick nods his head in appreciation. Nick: It isn't every day that you meet a conglomerate of individuals who have similar goals and wishes as you. But today, as I stand here in this ring....I can clearly see three men who believe in the same things that I do. Nick pauses for emphasis. Nick: Who want the same things that I want.Nick again, pauses for even more emphasis. Nick: And who will do exactly what I would do. Nick, receives some applause from the NewGen, and then begins to speak again with an excited tone of voice. Nick: That is why I was more than excited to join this group of young men, hell, I would say I was ecstatic to join this team, and to bring my own flair to this already amazing group of individuals who are standing in the ring with me right here. Nick turns his back to the NewGen and then points into the camera, which is getting a close up of Nick's face. Nick: Look unto us, APW...because as of right now, we are making a statement. We are done playing by the rules of our forefathers which dictate and handcuff us to respect those of you who would show no respect unto us. We are going to make our own rules, our own future, and our own destinies. And the first step to doing this is to be paved and constructed by destroying the foundation of villainy which has been built over the last few years by such names as Terry Marvin, Level One, and anyone else with vileness in their hearts and wicked intent in their minds. And from there we will build an APW that these fans, the real and only true power here in APW, can be proud of, and support for decades to come! Nick finishes with a grin and a great deal of praise from the fans and his NewGen brothers. He hands the microphone over to Jace and then takes a step back, falling into line with the rest of the team. They talk amongst themsleves When Shadows music hits. The arena trembles with excitement as they know what is coming up next. I AWAKE FROM MADNESS... ONE MORE TIME! Brilliant lighting dances across the titantron. Two explosions rip across the stage as Shadow emerges from backstage to the black and white color scheme. His long leather duster flaps behind him as the fan blows the billowing smoke back. White flames burn along the entry way as Shadow strolls down the ramp. The fans cheer for him wildly as Trip the Darkness continues. Nicky Paige: From Denton, Texas. Standing at six foot eleven, weighing in at two hundred and ninety nine pounds, Shadow!Shadow slides under the bottom rope and pushes himself up to his feet. He raises one arm high over head as flames burst from the ring posts. The color scheme returns to normal as Shadow drops his duster. He eyes the other members of NewGen Rising as they sit down at ringside on two sides of the ring. SINGLES MATCH Jace Savage Vs. Shadow
The two men of completely different sizes come to the center of the ring. Shadow stands over Jace in both height and size but the NewGen Star isn't backing down. The bell sounds and Jace reacts like a beast hearing his mating call. Blasting Shadow to the mouth and the bigger man returns the attack. Jace tries to dodge the incoming strike from Shadow but gets caught to the side of the head. He tries breaking to the side but runs into another solid shot from Shadow and Jace slaps down on his back. He pops up quickly and rushes Shadow but gets whipped around and slammed with a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker. He stays laying over Jace and goes for the quick pin.
1 . . 2 . Kickout.
He knew it wouldn't work as he raises up off the canvas. He pulls Jace up with him and the NewGen member tries fighting Shadow off with rapid shots to his midsection. Jace bursts up from the grapple and shoves his fingers up in Shadow's face, going for his Mandible Claw but Shadow lifts Jace with a One Handed Spinebuster and slams the kid down hard as he bounces off the canvas and flops to his side.
West: Jace Savage is gonna have to adapt to the sheer size difference if he's going to last here..
Harris: Shadow wants to get back into his Beast Mode. Not too many can compete with him when he gets into that state of mind.
Pulling Jace up off the canvas, Shadow brings him in and sets him up for a Massive DDT but Jace bursts with energy and lifts Shadow, hitting a perfectly placed Northern Lights Suplex on him and going for a pin himself. As the referee drops to make the count, Shadow kicks out. Jace smiles and shrugs as he stands to his feet. Shadow starts getting up and Jace pounds into his back a few times before turning and hitting the far ropes with great speed. Jace comes in hot and hits a Running Half Calf Kick that knocks Shadow back into the ropes behind him. Up from the canvas is Jace and he acts quickly, laying into Shadow with lightning quick combo punches.
Harris: Oh look, Jace must have heard me boast about Shadow..haha!
Shadow shoves him back but Jace Savage sticks to him again with the closed fist shots. Jace snatches the head of Shadow and goes for a DDT of his own but Shadow lifts him up, turns and throws Jace into the turnbuckle pads. Jace grabs hold of the turnbuckle and sits on the buckles, as Shadow comes in at him he is stiff kicked to the face. Shadow stumbles back and Jace Savage stands tall on the second turnbuckle and leaps forward going for his Blockbuster Finisher but Shadow catches him across the shoulders in a Fireman's Carry. He swings Jace and hits him with an Alabama Slam!
Harris: THAT IS A FINISHER!! Did you see how the head bounced? I love that!!
Dropping to his knees, Shadow covers Jace as the referee makes the count. His eyes never leaving Jace's partners at ringside as he faces them in his pin attempt.
1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!
Winner: Shadow As the bell is sounded, NewGen Rising members slam their fists into the ring apron as Shadow pushes to his feet. He grabs hold of Jace Savage's arm and pulls him to his feet. Shadow extends his other hand in a sign of respect. Jace still rocked and dazed shakes it as the fans erupt in cheers at both competitors.

A promo video for Shockwave is shown before we go to our next match up The iconic punk rock song "Anarchy in the U.K." begins to play throughout the arena as the lights dim and a strobe spotlight points to the entrance. Chris Madison stands still with his back towards the ring. Right!
Now!
*evil laugh*The lights come back on as Madison spins around and spits a mist of water into the air and then lets out a roar. The fans smother him with a mixed reaction of cheering his name and showering him with boos. His eyes affixed towards the ring as the crowd begins to sing along with the entrance song. I am an anit-christ! I am an anarchist!Nicky Paige: Making his way to the ring from Long Island, New York, weighing in at 220 pounds, "Madman" Chris Madison!Madison marches down to the ring avoiding the hands of the fans which are draped over the barrier. Madison makes it to the steel steps before entering the ring and stands at the foot of the steps pumping his fist in the air to the tune. Cause I!
I Wanna be!
Anarchy!Madison slams both fists down on top of the steps sending a boom through the first few rows of the arena and then climbs into the ring. He pounds his chest twice before letting out one final roar. Shane West: This has all the potential to explode in front of our eyes tonight!Dick Harris: Chris Madison has had an agenda with The Unforgiven since he signed an APW contract. And tonight it seems to come to an end. At least momentarily with what promises to be one hell of a battle with Sentinel!Shane West: Two classic, smash mouth, mentalities are about to come head to head looking win the rubber match between them. The techno-rock instrumental theme, "The Sentinel" by Celldweller, starts to ripple through the speakers as smoke starts to billow through the floor of the stage. Upon a rising platform, illuminated by a single purple spotlight, is the massive form of the Silent Destroyer, Sentinel. His arms are slightly extended from his body as before him, her back to his chest and her arms raised up and clasped around the back of his neck, is the Lady of Sin, Talon. When the platform stops, she starts making her way down the ramp with Sentinel in her wake. Nicky Paige: Led to the ring by Talon, from Valley Forge, Tennessee and weighing in at 277 pounds...the Silent Destroyer...SENTINEL!Talon smoothly pulls herself onto the apron and cartwheels into an upside-down pose, hanging from the top rope. She beckons to Sentinel who steps forward, the two sharing a heated kiss before she pulls herself back up and flips from the ropes into the ring. Sentinel rolls in under the bottom rope and comes up to his full height mid-ring. Talon slides the vest-like leather jacket from the big man's shoulders and takes his sunglasses as well before running her hand one last time down his chiseled torso and leaving the ring. Sentinel turns his attention to the task at hand, gray eyes staring emotionlessly forward. SINGLES MATCH Chris Madison vs. Sentinel
Shane West: The two men are standing toe to toe in the middle of the ring. We are about to witness something special!
Dick Harris: Is Chris Madison extending his fist out to Sentinel?
Sentinel looks down at Madison's extended fist and makes contact with his own. The two nod at one another and separate, circling one another while crouching to prevent giving up a vulnerable position. After sizing one another up and not seeing any openings Madison bounces off the ropes and charges Sentinel hitting a shoulder block in the center of the ring, not budging the behemoth. Madison looks upwards at Sentinel who smirks. He bounces of the ropes again, trying for another shoulder block only to execute the same result. Sentinel stands his ground and pounds his chest, tempting Madison for one more shot. Madison bounces for a third time but this time Sentinel nearly kicks Madison's head off with a big boot. Sentinel stands near the head of Madison, jumps in the air and comes down across his chest with a leg drop. Sentinel lifts Madison to his feet and pushes him to the corner. Sentinel lights up Madison's chest a bright red with a series of hard knife edge chops!
WOOOOOOO
WOOOOOOO
WOOOOOOO
Shane West: Those chops will make your heart skip a beat!
Dick Harris: There is a lot of power behind each one of those chops. Madison's chest will definitely be full of welts tomorrow.
Sentinel grabs Madison by the arm and whips him to the opposite corner. Sentinel follows by charging Madison and nails a huge avalanche splash into the corner. Sentinel steps back and allows for Madison to stumble out of the corner. Sentinel lifts Madison up with a military press and drops him into a powerslam! Madison grabs a hold of the bottom rope and pulls himself out of the ring to collect himself. Sentinel climbs outside and chases Madison down, turning him inside out with a discuss clothesline. Sentinel helps Madison to his feet and then puts two hands around his throat. Sentinel tosses him, sending him into the front row! Talon has made her way towards the action and smiles at the Silent Destroyer with approval.
Shane West: The ref is really letting these two go!
Dick Harris: And why not? You think either guy wants to win by count out or disqualification? The ref is doing the right thing by them.
Madison used the security railing to get back to his feet. Sentinel grabs Madison by his hair and nails him with a huge headbutt. Madison reels backwards and falls into a temporarily vacated seat. Sentinel reaches over to grab Madison but gets a thumb in the eye by the Madman. Sentinel staggers away holding his right eye as Madison climbs out of the stands. Madison chops away at Sentinel's knee with a series of leg kicks, eventually dropping him down to one knee. Madison stares at Talon sending her a few steps backwards. Madison charges Sentinel again and gets spun around to the surrounding mats with a spinning side slam.
Shane West: Sentinel calls that variation the Gravebreaker!
Dick Harris: And now he is showing Madison the way back into the ring...
With a hand full of Madison's shorts Sentinel sends him rolling back into the ring, under the bottom rope. Sentinel lifts Madison up to his feet and lifts him up with a fireman's carry. He drops Madison back down to the mat with a death valley driver! Sentinel lays across the chest of Madison for the cover.
One . . . Two . . . Kick Out!
Dick Harris: Only a two count! Not quite yet ready to put him away.
Sentinel stands near the corner after the nearfall and stalks Madison as he uses the ropes to get to his feet. With his back turned Sentinel charges and nearly decapitates him with a lariat to the back of the neck! Lifting Madison up again Sentinel locks in a standing full nelson. Sentinel lifts him up but in mid air Madison breaks free and keeps ahold of the other arm. Madison rolls through sending Sentinel over with an arm drag takedown. Both men are back to their feet Madison quickly tosses Sentinel back down with another arm drag take down. Rising to their feet simultaneously Madison is charged by Sentinel trying another discuss lariat. Madison catches the arm and locks it tight. Sentinel tries to clobber Madison but he grasps that arm also. Madison flips him over the top of his head with a modified over the head belly to belly suplex.
Shane West: And a change of tide has Madison with the upper hand.
Dick Harris: Only momentarily.
Madison climbs on top of the downed Sentinel and mounts him. He rains down with right hands to the head of Sentinel. Madison stands up and takes a few steps back. As Sentinel sits up, Madison charges and delivers a stiff shinning wizard! Madison helps Sentinel to his feet brings him back down to the mat with a suplex. He floats over to make the cover.
One . . . Kick Out!
Shane West: What a powerful kick out!
Sentinel used his upper body strength and sent Madison through the ropes to the apron while kicking out. Madison gets to his feet and stands on the apron waiting for Sentinel to get back up. Sentinel does but is quickly met by Madison's knee as he springboards off the tope rope and nails a flying shinning wizard! Madison lifts Sentinel up by his head. He grabs one arm and tucks it between Sentinel leg. Madison flips him over with an explosive wrist clutch exploder suplex! Madison keeps up the assault by driving his knee into Sentinel's ribs, connecting three times. Madison gets Sentinel back up and spins him around. Madison underhooks both of Sentinel's arms from behind and drives him backwards to the mat with a tiger suplex! Madison keeps ahold of the arms and bridges for the cover.
One . . . Two . . . Thr...Kick Out!
Dick Harris: That was a lot closer. But its definitely going to take a lot more to keep the Silent Destroyer down for three!
Shane West: I hate it, but I have to agree with you. Madison is going to need more than that.
Madison runs his hand through his hair while on his knees, collecting himself while he has a moment. He once again lifts Sentinel back to his feet. Madison locks in a Muay Thai clinch and delivers a few knee strikes targeting the midsection of Sentinel. He releases and quickly strikes again with a spinning back kick right in the gut. Sentinel doubles over and Madison bounces off the ropes. He attempts a clothesline but Sentinel ducks. Sentinel grabs Madison's face with his large hand locking in an iron claw. He quickly places his other hand on the back of Madison, lifts him up and slams him down!
Dick Harris: What an iron claw slaw!
Shane West: Both men are down and out! The first to their feet very well could be the winner.
Both men begin to stir as they lay on the mats. Each inches toward a different side of the ring and uses the ropes to their feet and they stumble to the center of the ring. Sentinel slaps Madison's chest with a knife-edge chop. Madison staggers and reciprocates with a knife-edge chop of his own. Sentinel counters with another of his own. The two exchange chops beating the hell out of one another. Finally Sentinel switches it up and nails a mongolian chop which sends Madison backwards. Madison inches forwards and gets scooped up by the Silent Destroyer. He drops Madison across his knee with a back breaker. Sentinel tries for the cover.
One . . . Two . . . Kick Out!
Shane West: Another close call.
Sentinel lifts Madison back up and carries him around the ring before tossing him over his head with a fallaway slam! He stalks the madman has he gets back to his feet. Madison turns around and is sent to the other side of the ring with an over the head belly to belly suplex. Sentinel grabs a hold of Madison's right leg and flips him onto his stomach with a single leg crap. Sentinel pulls back for additional leverage as Madison squirms in pain. His hand is extended trying to reach the ropes. Sentinel keep pulling back on the leg to inflict more pain. Madison starts to crawl slowly carrying Sentinel's weight also. He reaches out one more time and grabs a hold of the bottom rope. Sentinel breaks the hold. He lifts Madison back to his feet. Madison quickly ducks under and behind Sentinel, grabbing a hold of him with a rear waist lock. Madison drops to the ground and rolls backwards, holding onto the waist lock causing Sentinel to roll with him. Madison explodes out of the roll with a high impact german suplex! Madison keeps ahold of the waist lock and bridges for the pinfall.
One . . . Two . . . Thre....NO! Kick Out! Sentinel just barely gets a shoulder up.
Dick Harris: I thought Madison had it on that beautiful rolling German Suplex!
Both men get to their feet and Sentinel kicks Madison in the gut. He lifts him up with a gutwrench and drops him down with a gut buster across one knee which he calls screaming silence. Madison flops around the mat like a fish out of water while holding his midsection. Sentinel gets Madison up but he fights free. The two men exchange blows again with this time Madison getting the upper hand. Sentinel is reeling to the ropes. Madison grabs him and sends him to the ropes. Madison goes for a clothesline on the rebounding destroyer but Sentinel ducks. Madison spins around and dodges an attempt of a big boot from Sentinel. Madison bounces off the rope and goes for a cross body but is caught in mid air. Sentinel uses his power and tosses him onto his shoulders. Madison uses his elbows to strike Sentinel in the head, breaking free. Both men are on their feet and Madison kicks Sentinel in the gut, doubling him over. Madison shoves his head between his legs looking for his flipping piledriver but its reversed into a back body drop!
Madison is quick to his feet but gets turned inside out with another discuss clothesline. Sentinel lifts Madison up with a full nelson and this time lands his full nelson bomb he calls the spine lancer. Madison stumbles to his feet right into the arms of Sentinel who lifts Madison with a vertical suplex. He holds him in the air, showcasing his power and drops him with a sit out power bomb. Sentinel hooks his legs over Madison's shoulder for the cover.
Shane West: BLACK SUNSET!!!
One . . . Two . . . Three!!!
Winner: Sentinel Dick West: Huge win for the Silent Destroyer!Nicky Paige: Here is your winner, SENTINEL!Shane West: What a match!Dick Harris: I sure hope this isn't the last time these two men face off!Madison lays on the mat, on his back as Sentinel leaves with Talon. The two make their way up the ramp and stop at about the halfway mark. At this point Madison has made it to his feet and is leaning on the ropes facing Sentinel. He nods his head and gets a nod in return as they cut to commercial.

The cameras slowly fade in from darkness, where we are evidently already moving down a long, narrow hallway leading toward a single room. Some sniffling cam be heard from inside-- and as we approach closer, we can definitely ascertain one thing-- someone, likely a woman, is crying. Our cameras move around the final stretch of the corridor where the crowd responds with a mixed reaction upon seeing Sienna Harrison placing belongs in a box, wiping tears from her eyes and cheeks as she packs. Among the things inserted are a plaque-- a "certification of excellence" for her work, a photograph of Sienna Harrison, Alexander Duvall, Christian Kane, Kaylyn James Evans and Robina Hood from a company party-- and finally, a replica of the North American Championship. The crowd boos as Sienna holds it in her shaking hands for a few moments. She bites her lip and her eyes swell with more tears before her look contorts to one of anger. She slides a hand back through her hair and takes a deep breath. The audience cheers as Evan Envi steps into frame. Jenny Knite stands at his side with the APW Overdrive Championship draped over her left shoulder. She frowns, apologetically, as she observes Sienna. Evan moves forward and immediately embraces his sister. Evan: Dude. It's all good!Jenny: Yeah... It'll be fine.Sienna continues to sniff, and wipes another stream of tears from her face before hugging her brother back. Sienna: I just... I just... I can't believe I let this happen.Evan: You didn't have a choice--Sienna, you in here?Evan is interrupted by the voice and a knock at the door. He shoots a vexed look to the door, which turns to full on anger as The Guv’nor walks. The crowd cheer. Sienna glares up at him and shakes her head, raising a finger before he can utter another word. Sienna: You made this happen, Lenny.Guvnor: Come on, love; that’s a bit harsh. You lay a fair few things at my door, but this isn’t one ‘em, know what I’m saying? He looks at Envi, trying to glare a hole through him. Guvnor: Easy there killer. Take a photo, it lasts longer. I’m sure Sienna’s got plenty. He chuckles, but there is no humour to be found in this box tonight. Sienna: You made this entire establishment-- our entire management team look like a damned JOKE. You WANTED this to happen. You KILLED Meltdown so it couldn't kill you! You are a RAT! You have always been a goddamned RAT! YOU DID THIS ON PURPOSE!Guvnor: Whoa! Slow down, sweetheart. I’ll admit maybe I deliberately went out to push your buttons once or twice, but I never wanted this. I lose just as much as you do tonight. So before you start throwing stones-Sienna sniffles, which has a surprising effect on Guvnor. Guvnor: Come on love, no need to cry. At least you can say you went out with a bang, eh?Evan watches the scene unfold for a moment before his eyes settle on the cowering, sobbing figure of Sienna Harrison. His look of concern turns to one of disgust as the Guv'Nor slides an arm around Sienna's shoulders, ushering her up to her feet despite his stoic expression. Evan: Yo. Guv.The Guv'Nor raises a curious eye in Evan's direction. Evan looks ahead at him, expressionless, and continues in a low tone. Evan: Let me talk to you for a second.Guvnor: In a minute, bruv.Evan: Like-- now. Like, for a second, now.The North American Champion looks at Envi as if he's insane for a moment before that sly grin crosses his face and he moves away from Sienna, and toward the self-proclaimed "hottest free agent in professional wrestling." Guv'Nor: Why don’t you make yourself useful, I’ll even throw in a couple of dimes since you’re unemployed- Evan delivers a lightning-fast, hard, cold slap to the face of the Guv'Nor. The crowd roars in a very mixed reaction. Evan looks at the North American Champion, who stands with his head still turned to the side from the velocity of the strike. The Guv'Nor's expression is an indistinguishable one, but he raises a hand to his jaw. Sienna looks, almost frightened, from the Guv'Nor, to Envi, back and forth until Envi backs out of the room. Sienna: Evan--!Evan takes a confused Jenny Knite by the arm and the two make their way out of Sienna's office, and down the corridor. The Guv'Nor never turns in their direction... But instead turns and settles his gaze on Sienna, who meets his gaze with a surprised one-- a helpless one. Guvnor starts to say something, but then he sets his jaw stiffly and marches out of the room, leaving Sienna desperate and alone with her grief. Paige:This next contest is an APW "Showcase" Match which puts an Asylum Megastar against an Overdrive Megastar. Introducing first from the Asylum Brand..."I Won't Deny It, I'm A Straight Ridah" The Piano comes in followed by a thumping beat as the voice over continues speaking over the music in a whispered voice. "You Don't Wanna Fuck With Me Got The Police Bustin At Me But They Can't Do Nuttin To A G
Let's Get Ready To RUMMMBBBLLLEEE!!" As the chorus to "Ambitionz Az A Ridah" plays and Tupac comes into rapping his first verse, green bouncing lights stroll around the live audience and thump to the beat of the song. As Jason Kash steps through the back curtain and steps onto the stage, he is met with loud boos and a few die hard cheers. Paige: Introducing by way of Houston, Texas! He is a World Title GRAND SLAM CHAMPION!! "The Influence" JAAASSSOONN KAAASSH!!He stops and slowly turns his head side to side as the graphic showing his name appears across the bottom of the screen. He looks over the arena full of fans, accepting whatever reaction they wish to pour down on him as he smiles showing the missing teeth in his smile. His eyes cut to the ring and his smile disappears as he heads towards the ring. At ring side, Kash steps over to the steel stairs and jogs up them quickly. Climbing up onto the ring apron. Kash walks the apron half way and bounces through the middle ropes to enter the ring. There he drops down a upside down Peace sign before he leans against the nearby ropes and is ready for competition. Paige: And his opponent, he is an Overdrive LEGEND! From North Dakota, the former Undisputed Champion...Give it up for..C..J...GAAATES!!A green hue fills the arena as "Writing On the Wall" by the Tea Party begins to play and the fans instantly jump to their feet, cheering loudly. C.J. Gates quickly makes his way out from the back wearing his trademark cowboy hat and his "Go Big or Go Home" T-shirt. He points out to the fans in attendance and smiles before making his way down the ramp, tagging hands with the fans along the side of it. Gates reaches the ring and slides in under the bottom rope before springing to his feet and climbing the nearest turnbuckle. He points out at the fans one more time before raising his arms in the air to another loud chorus of cheers. Harris: These two are First Ballot Hall Of Famers without question. Who takes the cake here tonight though?West: We're about to find out and I'm excited!SINGLES MATCH Jason Kash Vs. CJ Gates
Even after the sound of the bell, these two men stay in their corners. Kash comes out of his and paces back and forth in front of the turnbuckles as his eyes stare across at CJ Gates. Almost together they both step across the ring towards each other. The fans standing on their feet, waiting to see who will strike first, who will strike hardest. Then Kash sticks out a hand. The gasp in the audience is heard as CJ Gates stands there looking down at his show of respect. The fans quickly begin chanting "SHAKE HIS HAND".
West: How often have we seen Jason Kash offer up a handshake to someone BEFORE a match?
Harris: Kill each other already!!
Grabbing his hand, Gates shakes it and both of them tighten up with their shaking hands. They both let go and step back and break to the sides and begin circling one another. They come in quick and lock up but as soon as they lock, Gates drops and whips Kash over with a Snapping Hip Toss. Kash rolls on the canvas and pops up but Gates has much more speed and blasts Kash with a solid punch to the side of his face as he rises. Kash stands tall and delivers his own punch. Going for a second, Kash wildly swings and Gates gets up under it, bursting past Kash and springing off the ropes behind him. Kash spins around to see Gates springing back with a Reverse Elbow that catches him to the chest.
Kipping up, Gates gets the ovation of the fans. As Kash rises, Gates grabs him by the head and as Kash stands tall, Gates jumps up looking for a Dropsault but Kash swipes it to the side. As Gates scramble to get up, Kash places a lifting knee to his opponent's face. Gates twists around and collapses to the canvas. Kash stomps down into the back shoulder of Gates. He puffs on an "Air Joint" and drops an elbow into the lower back of Gates.
West: Jason is in control and he looks to be having fun, taunting and boasting but still not disrespecting his opponent.
Harris: A pure athletic competition, a Rassling Match! And it's only getting started!!
Kash on his feet pulls Gates up onto his and rips him into a Lifting DDT but as Kash lifts and spins CJ Gates, "The North Dakota Cowboy" lands on his feet and instantly hits a Northern Lights Suplex. He steps over to make it a pin and does as the referee is quick to react.
1 . . . 2 .Kickout
From the canvas, Gates breaks into a rush and hits the far ropes. He springs off the ropes like a high speed locomotive and as Kash rises to his feet, CJ Gates wallops him with a Front Dropkick that sends Kash flying back and through the middle ropes. He lands on the ring apron and almost falls off that but keeps his balance. The fans going nuts as Gates quickly pops back up to his feet. Kash pulls on the rope with one hand and picks himself up on the outside of the ropes. Gates once again turns and sprints to the same ropes as before and explodes off them.
Harris: What's he doing, what's he doing!!
On the right side of the ring, Kash leans over the ropes and as his head lifts and sees Gates coming, it's far too late to react. Gates leaps and tears through the empty space with a pin point Front Dropkick and this time it sends Kash off the ring apron, turning in mid air and colliding hard with the ring barrier.
West: We've got a Crash site at ringside! Jason Kash compacted together like he was going over the middle and a Linebacker Brick Walled him!
Harris: Ha! American Football reference!
As the ref begins counting Kash out, Gates heads to the ropes to exit the ring but stops when Jason Kash begins to rise. He wobbles as he stands to his feet and CJ Gates back in the ring fully grabs hold of the ropes and pulls himself into a leap over the ropes as he goes for a Vaulting Body Press. Kash side steps out of the way and CJ Gates crashes down hard into the ring side floor mats.
As he pops up, grabbing his own chest, CJ Gates is grabbed and lifted by Jason Kash with a Suplex. Kash snaps down and hits his Signature Brainbuster into the ring floor mats.
West: Awwww! He's outside the ring, no pinfall there..Get him inside the ring if you want to win this!
Gates curls into a ball as he grabs at his neck and head. Slowly onto his feet, Kash rips Gates up and rolls him back into the ring. Kash climbs up onto the ring apron slowly but as he stands on the outside of the ropes where he was knocked off moments ago, CJ Gates is stumbling as he himself rises. Kash smiles and as Gates turns around towards him, Kash springs up onto the ropes and rockets straight up into the air. Doesn't go too far but comes crashing down with a Double Axe Handle that drops CJ Gates.
As Kash lands on his feet he jumps up in place and comes down with a Gorilla like double fist and repeats it a few times as the audience laughs and cheers for the show. Pounding fists like hammers down into Gates body as he lays on the canvas.
Harris: Haha! Monkey Attack! He has a Monkey, that's GOLDEN!!
West: After that Double Axe Handle and now these "Monkey Attacks" Jason Kash seems to be back in this match!
After acting a fool with the Monkey business, Kash rips Gates off the canvas and scoops him up for a simple bodyslam. He heads to the nearest turnbuckle, dips out through the ropes to the apron and climbs up the outside of the turnbuckles. Kash standing on foot on the top turnbuckle, pushes off and dives looking for an elbow but Gates sits up and moves out of the way.
Kash grabs his elbow close to him and pushes up to his feet but CJ Gates is already standing and he's breathing heavy. He whips a kick to the midsection of Kash and it bends him forward. Gates jogs backwards and bounces off the ropes and picks up speed, hitting a side flip neckbreaker. Crawling over, Gates covers Jason Kash and hooks a leg as the referee drops and makes the count.
1 . . Kickout!
The fans clap cheer as the match is forced to continue. Gates shakes his head, respecting the fight in Jason Kash as he pushes off his opponent and gets to his feet. Grabbing Kash's arm and pulls it up to get him off the mat. Kash gets to a knee and Gates steps back again and breaks towards Kash looking for an Shining Wizard but Kash catches him. He stands up with Gates hanging over his shoulders, holding him there by the legs. Kash whips Gates forward and slams him with an Alabama Slam, Kash falls forward and covers Gates.
1 . . . . 2 . . Kickout!
West: Good Gracious! This is getting good!!
Harris: They've had to study each other for a few weeks now as this day approached. They've watched each other, these two Southern Boys are taking it to each other here tonight!
As Gates lays on his back, Kash stands up and looks out around the arena. Some people cheering, some booing but his smile isn't seeing either side as a problem. He likes it all. Putting his attention back to Gates, he pulls on his arm, yanks it in one pull and big boot his face as he jumps up from the arm pull. Getting Gates on his feet, Kash throws him at the waistline of his trunks into the ropes. He doesn't spring from them, he falls into them and holds himself up by clinching the ropes with his arms.
Kash slaps his elbow and as Gates slowly gets off the ropes, he turns around and Kash skips into a spin and throws a violent looking Rolling Elbow that cracks CJ right in the forehead. He stiffens and slowly falls back from the blast, falling into the ropes, his arms tie up in the top and middle ropes. His head droops from the "Mark Of Jason" and Kash smiles as the crowd again reacts in a vibrating cheer.
Harris: The Season of J.A.S.O.N. has started! I just got tingles..
Lifting the legs of Gates, he stretches out, his shoulders turning as his arms remain tied up in the ropes. He looks like a sacrifice on the top half of a cross. Kash starts lifting and bouncing him by the legs and then flips him back and over the ropes. Gates unties from the ropes and lands on the ring apron. Kash comes in with looking to clobber Gates but CJ Gates drops down and drives a shoulder into Kash's midsection. He grabs hold of the ropes and leaps up into a dive back into the ring over Kash's head, Gates grabs Kash by the waist and hits him with a Sunset flip that rolls Kash up for a surprise pin attempt.
1 . . . 2 . . . Thr..KICKOUT!!
West: THAT WAS CLOSE!!
Bursting out of the pin attempt, Kash scrambles to his feet. Gates arches back almost Matrix style to dodge a left armed clothesline. As Kash twirls around, Gates spins and connects with a Spinning Wheel Kick that drops Kash to the canvas once again. Gates hurried to his feet, rushes to the turnbuckle, runs up the corner and springs into a twist before dropping a well place Knee into Kash's chest. Gates rolls off the knee drop and returns to his feet. The crowd again clapping in an appreciation of the Action from the match.
Pointing to the turnbuckles, Gates heads to high risk as the fans get louder. He climbs to the top and signals for his Spinal Tap he calls "The Gatecrasher" and leaps off, executing but as he comes down to finalize the move, Kash has knees up that pound into Gate's back as he comes across them on his back. Kash pops up and rolls Gates over and goes for the cover.
1 . . . . 2 . . . . Th.KICKOUT!
Harris: That was close...These two are split seconds away from taking the victory!
Picking himself and Gates up off the canvas, Kash Irish Whips him into the corner across the ring. Breaking into a run, Kash hits a corner Big Boot that crumbles Gates down into a squatting position. Kash pulls him up, scoops him and positions him in a Tree of Woe over the turnbuckles. Turning away from Gates, Kash rushes across the ring, bounces off the opposite turnbuckles and adds on speed as he roars back towards an upside down Gates. Kash flips forward and cannonballs himself into Gates with a Running Senton.
West: That was Totally Wicked!!
Harris: He's getting more aggressive, this is the Jason Kash we've all come to know inside the ring. Ruthless, seeking to do damage not just win a match. I like this Kash!!
CJ Gates hurting as he lays folded on his neck and shoulders, drops his body down to the canvas and rolls out of the ring. Kash gets up and grabs his ribs, showing they still give him some pain. He steps through the ropes and drops to the outside floor as Gates pushes to his feet. Kash snatches him by the head and shoves his head down between his legs, lifting Gates up, Kash power bombs Gates over the ring apron and he instantly arches at the back and screams out in pain. Kash shoves him under the bottom ropes to get him back inside the ring.
Rolling into the ring himself, Kash shoves at his knee to stand up on his feet. He foot pushes Gates at the face as he attempts to get up. Then he grabs Gates and pulls him up. Kash ducks down and lifts Gates up for what appears to be an Emerald Fusion but Gates drives a knee into Kash's face and drops down to his feet. He hooks Kash up and drops him with a impactful Double Arm DDT and the fans erupt with cheers!
West: "Stamp Of Approval" This could be the sign of the end for Jason Kash! What a beautiful counter by CJ Gates!!
Harris: Could we see "The Gatecrusher" to end it? Maybe the "Market Crash"? I'm getting ahead of myself here, who KNOWS WHAT COULD HAPPEN NEXT!!
Both men lay on the canvas, Kash face pressed against the ring. Gates on his back, his eyes blinking. He moves and props himself up on his side before pushing up onto his hands and knees. Once on his feet Gates turns and slowly walks to the nearby corner. He begins to climb as Jason Kash begins to move. Kash looks up to see Gates climbing and hurries to his feet and dives at the corner, managing to sweep a leg out from Gates and fence ride him on the turnbuckles. Kash lifts Gates legs and places them outside the ropes at the sides of the top turnbuckle. Facing the outside of the ring, Gates sits straddled on the top turnbuckle as Jason Kash steps through the ropes to the ring apron. He turns to the ring and uses the ropes to Springboard himself over the ropes but as he jumps, Gates throws a side elbow that catches Kash to the side of his head. Kash slumps over the ropes, Gates slowly climbs down the turnbuckle and pulls Kash inside the ring, he quickly connects with a Shoulder Jawbreaker that sends thumping vibrations of cheers throughout the arena.
West: MARKET CRASH, MARKET CRASH!!!
Kash slaps back and drops onto his back and Gates falls over him like dead weight and hooks a leg.
1 . . . . 2 . . . . 3!
Winner: CJ Gates
Harris: That hurt, Kash had himself a nice little setup. He was looking for an end game and got blindsided by that elbow shot. That was the opening Gates needed..What a match, what a finish!!As "Writings on the Wall" begins to play, CJ Gates gets up from the cover and the referee grabs his arm and raises it in victory. Gates wobbles as the fans continuing blaring out cheers. Gates drops his arm and leans over, patting the bare chest of Jason Kash and then signaling him with a thumbs up. Gates moves across the ring and throws up his arms again as the fans seem to pop when he does that as Kash moans and moves slightly on the canvas as we go to commercial

Our scene fades in from black and the raucous Mississippi crowd responds with a mixed reaction as the soft features of the nineteen-year-old "Perfect" Megastar Robina Hood appears on screen. It is evident that we are in Sienna Harrison's office, and the reactions give way to boos as Sienna Harrison approaches Robina Hood's side. Robina stares straight ahead-- focused-- while Sienna talks to her. Sienna: Tonight... Tonight's about you. Tonight's your night. Tonight is when everything-- everything we've ever talked about comes to fruition, love. You're ready, right?Robina smiles faintly and nods. She looks down and gently takes Sienna's hand in hers. Robina: That goes without saying. And if tonight's the end--Sienna: No. No, no, no...Sienna grips Robina's hand firmly and smirks up at her, though it's evident that she would much rather break down in tears, given the circumstances. Sienna: It's not the end. This-- this show might be over for NOW... But us? We're not over. You're gonna be perfect. And one way or another, I'm gonna be there to witness it. I'm gonna be there to tell the world, 'I told you so.'Robina looks at Sienna unsurely for a moment and then smiles, giving her a light nod. Robina: I'm ready.Sienna: Yeah.Sienna clears her throat and wipes stray tears from her face. She looks like she wants to say something else to Robina, but bites her lip and releases the girl's hand, taking a step back. Sienna: Yeah. All three members walk up the stairs at the same time, They wipe their feet on the ring apron and climb in between the ropes. Paige: Introducing first, being accompanied by Jace Savage and Brian Hollywood, he is RON RUFIO!!!Rufio and Hollywood go to opposite corners on the same side of the ring, Jace stands on the middle rope in between them. The fans cheers more as they raise their arms, and play it up for the crowd. West: Listen to the crowd, they know what’s coming upHarris: Its been too long since this Megastar stepped foot in an APW RingThe crowd is buzzing with anticipation for the coming match. On cue, the lights take on a blue tinge and 'TroubleMaker' hits the speakers. This sets the crowd off: everyone knows who this is leading up to. As the song bursts to life, out races Sally Talfourd, racing to the front of the stage. Raising her hands to the crowd, she kicks her leg and heads towards the ring, slapping hands with the crowd that hangs over the rails for her. Paige: Making her way to the ring this evening, weighing in at a sublime one-hundred and forty pounds, standing in at five feet and ten inches of perfection, this is Sally Talfourd!Sally stands at the base of the steps to the ring, waving to the crowd as she is announced. When that's done, she dashes up the steps, hoists herself over the top ring and bounces to the centre of the ring. Poses for the crowd as the lights return to normal and the music fades out. The crowd still cheers for the adorable Sally as she starts to stretch for the match. Crowd: WELCOME BACK. WELCOME BACK. WELCOME BACK! West: We last saw Sally inside an APW ring at Survive and Conquer where Sally was the runner up to Terry MarvinHarris: The crowd is on their feetBefore the ref rings the bell, he looks at both Jace Savage and Brian Hollywood and points up the ramp and to the back. Brian and Jace begin heading to the back and the ref calls for the bell to start this match SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH Ron Rufio vs. Sally Talfourd

Sally counters with a knee to the gut, doubling Ron over. Sally goes for a facebreaker DDT but Ron pushes forward and drives her back first into the corner. After a few shots to the ribcage to loosen Sally's grip, Ron throws a few shots to the face that cause Sally to fall to a seated position. Ron backs off. As soon as he backs away, he comes running back with a knee to the face of Sally. Ron drags Sally to the center of the ring and covers. 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . KICK OUT!!

They both get up and Sally tries for a japanese armdrag but Ron is too heavy. Sally faces him and he drops her with a DDT. Ron runs the ropes and, while Sally's getting up, he hits a swinging neckbreaker on the rebound. He covers. 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . KICK OUT!!
West: Ron is trying everything he can here.
Harris: I’m impress. This new comer is really taking it to Sally, who is a former World and Undisputed Champion.
Ron gets up and tries for a crossface but he can't seem to put it on right and Sally elbows him in the face. Sally rolls him over and hits several punches to the face. She gets up and hits a leg drop. She covers. 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . KICK OUT!!
They both get to their feet. Ron throws a punch. Sally steps out of the way and, when Ron turns around, she hits him with a spinning heel kick. Sally runs to the ropes and springboards off with a Happy Ending but Ron rolls out of the way. Sally gets up and ducks Sweet Chin Music. She comes off the ropes and tilt a whirls around Ron to lock in the COTS. Ron hangs on for about 30 seconds before tapping out.

We see Sally walking backstage following her match with Ron Rufio. A backstage worker hands Sally a bottle of water and she begins to drink it, when all of a sudden, President Jeff shows up, holding a big envelop. Sally: Hey Boss.Jeff: Its nice to see you again Sally. Good job out there tonight.Sally: Thanks.Jeff: I’ll get right to the chase.Sally: I wouldn’t expect anything different.Jeff: Here.Jeff hands Sally the envelop. Jeff: Its an APW contract. I know we agreed this would be a one time thing. But I’ve been around long enough to know how these one off things work. Look it over. You have my number. Any questions, call me, anytime of day. You know we all love you here. The crowd loves you. APW is your family. The Ball is in your court. With that, President Jeff walks away leaving Sally alone as she looks at the envelop and we go to ringside. Paige: The following contest is tonight’s main event.Crowd pops. Paige: It is scheduled for one fall and is for the APW North American Championship!Enormous crowd pop. West: Here we go- The final act! They say we wanted attention We really need a platform to teach a lesson Well hey you forgot to mention We're living for the melody in our headAs those female words of "Ignite" by Noisestorm, None Like Joshua & Veela begins to play through the arena’s sound system a purple-haired lady comes out from the backstage area with a black jacket draped over her shoulders. The fans gives out a rather mixed response to this woman they knew as one Robina Hood. Oh are we pretentious? Or do we have stories boiling in us? Poor fool, you're not gonna get to us We don't even notice this...As that voice continued to sing she walks to the top of the stage and throws her arms up high in the air, causing the jacket to fly off her shoulder and onto the floor. She proceeds to make her way down the aisle towards the ring. Some of the fans cheered, some booed and some of the younger members stayed nervously silent as the sometimes unpredictable female walked pass them. I haven't seen the sun In over sixty-seven days The time is moving With the heavens when I said to wait The room is growing smaller And the days are getting shorter But I have to stay awake Cause this could change the worldSuddenly a male voice began to sing, at a faster rate than the female voice that came beforehand, and as the voice sung Robina made her way to ringside. She was a bit slow to go over to the ring steps as the female's eyes were darting about, as if checking to see who is in attendance. Paige: Introducing first: from Sherwood Forest; weighing 132lbs....ROBINA HOOD!!!And it's time to tell the people When nobody will It's time to bring the life To what I've written with a quill I must create, then innovate And let it see the light And when I'm done, I will be changing Now watch me ignite! She walks up the ring steps, halfway across the apron and steps into the ring as the song continued. Once in the ring Robina turned around a few times to see the audience but when 'watch me ignite' goes through the system, the female spins 270 degrees and punches the air, getting a louder yet still mixed reaction from the people in the arena. Miss Hood then heads off to the corner, as her theme slowly dies down, and leans her back against the corner while awaiting the arrival of her opponent. West: Does anybody encapsulate the spirit of Meltdown more than Robina Hood? Harris: She’s the model Meltdown megastar, Shane. She’s the longest serving megastar in the history of Meltdown and over the past four months we have seen her develop into a star. West: And while some people may not like her choice of company, her morals, they may not even like her, nobody can deny Robina Hood this moment. The arena is smothered in darkness as the house lights drop down, only the flicker of a few lighters offering a puncture in blackness. The Megatron lights up and displays the words to the following voiceover. One day some of the kids in the neighbourhood carried my mother’s groceries all the way home. You know why? It was outta respect.
Respect
Respect
Respect A siren sounds throughout the arena and after a few seconds we hear the MC lay it down. New name, mon: The original nuttah Take heed and take check And when we come it’s murderation All original gangsta man Hear what me tellin’ now Ya hear me Watch me tell dem rude bwoy Watch this! Pyros explode in red, white and blue as the Jungle beat kicks in, strobe lighting kicking off a full on mash up as the lyrics blast out. Mi are di nuttah Original madmah madmah mad nuttah Out steps The Guv’nor, his arms aloft as he basks in the positive crowd reaction. The Guv’nor watches on with joy as the crowd dance, jive, rave, and basically tear the shit out of this moment, generating a frenzied orgy of good-time-ness. With a happy grin The Guv’nor heads down the ring, slapping hands, posing, just doing what he does to give the fans a moment to remember and savour, spreading the cockney, happy go lucky, good vibes to all corners. Nicky Paige: Hailing from the East End of London, he weighs 228lbs...THE GUV’NOR!!!The Guv’nor slides into the ring and tosses his shades into the crowd as he climbs the turnbuckles, tapping with his hand the ‘MADE IN HACKNEY’ legend on his t-shirt. He climbs down as the music fades, readying himself for his opponent. West: Listen to this place- they’re going to have to bolt the roof down further if they want to keep the lid this arena. Harris: I don’t even know what you just said, Shane! In the ring The Guv’nor continues to stoke up the fire burning inside the crowd despite his music having died out. From her corner Robina Hood watches like a hawk, calculating the moment as Guv’nor continues to stir the crowd into an even bigger frenzy. West: This is it- the final ever Monday Night Meltdown match, the final ever North American Championship match, and the final lasting chance for these two long-term rivals to settle any scores. APW North American Championship Match The Guv’nor (c) vs. Robina Hood
The referee signals for the bell and Robina charges, surprising Guvnor with a flurry of blows. The NA Champ is forced to back into a corner and try to parry the blows Robina rains down: punches, slaps, kicks, forearm clubs. Guvnor blocks one attempted punch, then counters with a stiff jab of his own. He grabs Robina by the hair and sticks the head of her. Robina turns away and stumbles, Guvnor grabs her with a waistlock but she instinctively counters with a back elbow. All the while the crowd taking the noise up notch after notch. Robina spins and lands a hook just below Guvnor’s left eye. The Champ backs off, but he can nothing as Robina charges and clotheslines him to the mat. She backs away to a corner and puts her hands on her knees, breathing hard.
West: First blood to Robina, but just the sheer emotional expense out there must be exhausting.
Harris: It’s been a hot start to this match, and the crowd are right behind these megastars.
Guvnor gets to his feet, comes together with Robina in a clinch, but he easily powers her into a corner, then delivers a couple of uppercuts to the body. With great force he whips Robina across the ring into the opposite corner, then charges and runs a knee into her gut. Robina doubles over, but Guvnor has her upright quickly and rips into her chest with an open palm strike, then delivers three shoulder thrusts to the midsection. Robina is forced to take a knee, breathing hard. Guvnor places a knee on the back of her head and uses the ropes to choke Robina. The ref is in quickly, makes a speedy four count, then gives Guvnor a stern rebuke as he backs away.
West: We know The Guvnor is not afraid of pushing the officials to the absolute limits of legality, but he may have to be careful that his emotions don’t take him over the line.
Robina gets to her feet, moves out of the corner and again another tie-up with The Guvnor, but again he out muscles her, this time into an arm twist. Guvnor tries to wrench her arm, but Robina is smart to take a slight movement backwards on the twists and grabs the top rope. Guvnor yanks again but Robina keeps a firm grip on the rope, then the ref spots this and tells Guvnor to break the hold. He does, but as soon as the ref backs away Robina charges and knocks Guvnor down with a flying shoulder bump. Guvnor starts to rise, but Robina is already primed and ready, snapping his neck with a swinging neckbreaker. Robina makes the first cover of the match, but it’s a kick out on one.
West: Let’s not forget Robina Hood, despite her diminutive stature, remains the only person to have pinned The Guv’nor. If anyone knows what it’s going to take, it’s her.
Harris: And let’s not forget how she became a star at Test For The Best, pushing Aubrey J. Parker further than any other wrestler that night.
Guvnor begins to sit up, but Robina takes him into a rear choke for a few seconds, then delivers a stiff chop to the back of his neck. Robina is on her feet and she punts Guvnor hard in the side of the head. Robina rebounds off the ropes and hits a jumping elbow drop into the heart of Guvnor. Another cover, and this time Guvnor kicks out on two.
West: Robina needs to keep the pressure on.
Harris: She’ll know that; she’s tasted defeat and success against The Guv’nor, so she’ll be utilising the strategy she employed in the latter.
Guvnor pushes up to one knee, but Robina isn’t giving him time to breath. She grabs him and starts repeatedly driving her knee into his body. Guvnor fights his way back to his feet, but Robina finds a kidney and he slumps back down to one knee. Robina off the ropes and connects with a running lifted knee to the face and Guvnor slumps onto his back. He rolls quickly towards the ropes, using them to climb to his feet, but Robina continues the offense, pinning him on the ropes and lacerates his chest with stinging knife edge chops. After half a dozen Guvnor is breathing hard, barely able to stay upright and doing so only by slumping against the ropes. Robina rebounds off the opposite ropes and lunges through the air looking for a leg lariat, but Guvnor ducks and she straddles herself on the top rope, provoking a sympathetic groan from the crowd. Guvnor pops to his feet and tries to decapitate Robina with a big impact Cactus clothesline that takes them both over the top.
West: The momentum from that blow taking both The Guv’nor and Robina Hood over the top rope.
Harris: Both are down right in front of our commentary position, Shane. Anything can happen here.
Guvnor is first to his feet and he grabs Robina, whipping her towards a ring post- her shoulder slamming with brutal velocity into the steel. Guvnor grabs her again and repeats the trick against the same post on the same shoulder. As Robina bounces off the steel for a second time she turns right into a Guvnor and lifts and then drills her to the floor with a thrust spinebuster. The referee is at a count of six by this time, so Guvnor rolls under the bottom rope to break the count, not without giving the ref such a look as to say ‘don’t even think about ending the match that way’.
West: Suddenly, with a few blows the momentum has shifted in this match.
Harris: That’s always the danger when you give away so much in weight to your opponent. While she was able to keep the tempo up, using a variety of offense Robina was on top. Out here, this is like a streetfight and that’s very much The Guv’nor domain.
Robina gets to her feet, Guvnor clubs her hard a couple of times to the back of the head, then drags her into a front waistlock. He walks her towards the commentators table and lifts her up for a vertical suplex, holding her there to highlight is physical dominance.
West: Good God! The Guv’nor-I think he’s going to throw Robina this way.
Harris: We need to get out of here. Quick Shane, save the jelly beans.
But Guvnor holds Robina too long and on the downward arc she is able to pull off a remarkable reversal and ends up giving Guvnor a bulldog onto the top of the table. The structure doesn’t break, but the crowd pop as Guvnor’s face bounces off and he slumps to the floor.
West: What a counter! Robina Hood just pulled off one of the most extraordinary things I have ever seen!
Harris: I’m just amazed the table withstood the pressure.
The vocal males are kicked off an ‘APW!’ chant. Both wrestlers remain down for a few seconds, allowing the ref to check on them both. Guvnor is first to his feet and his bloodied face is revealed.
West: There’s blood pouring out of The Guv’nor- he looks in real bad shape right now.
Harris: He must have caught his face on the corner edge of that table; maybe on one of our monitors. He looks a mess.
But there’s no time for Guvnor as Robina leaps off the commentary table and nails him with a flying big boot. Another pop from the crowd. Robina lifts Guvnor and rolls him under the bottom rope, climbing to the top rope.
West: We don’t see Robina fly too often, but she’s taking the opportunity here.
Robina leaps off and connects with a flying leg drop to the throat of The Guvnor. She covers...
West: Robina has the legs hooked- we could have a new champion-
Harris: I think she’s got it!
West: NO! Shoulder up got for The Guv’nor.
Another loud crowd pop as Guvnor saves himself. Robina shakes her head a little, but quickly gets on with the task, getting to her feet and stomping on Guvnor, taunting him to get up. After a few seconds the North American Champ does so, Robina rebounds off the ropes looking for the pendulum lariat she calls Execution and uses to devastating effect, but Guvnor has it telegraphed and ducks, looks to counter with a savate kick, but Robina catches his leg, spins him around 360 degrees then nails him with a jumping reverse STO.
West: What a move! We’ve seen it used to win a North American Championship in the past.
Harris: We may see it now because Robina has another cover...
West: That’s two-NEW CHAMP-NO!
Crowd cheer again as Guvnor kicks out and quickly rolls on to his hands and knees, blood dripping from his head to form a small crimson pool on the mat. Robina is on top of Guvnor straight away, trying to lock him into a camel clutch, but he quickly swivels his hips and on his back and lands a punch with trademark devastation and Robina flops back into a seated position, her eyes rolling around in her head. Guvnor drags himself up and grabs Robina, planting her with a snap double arm DDT.
West: Wow! What impact from that DDT!
Harris: We’re seeing the full history of the North American Championship unfold here.
Guvnor takes a couple of seconds before he is able to cover Robina...
1 . . . . 2 . . . . . Kick out!
Guvnor is up on his knees, a smirk on his face.
West: I think Guv’nor wanted to beat Robina Hood with the very move utilised so well by her mentor’s brother.
Harris: I’m sure that would have felt like a wound from a poisoned dagger.
Guvnor lifts Robina looking for the Gypsy Kiss, but he rolls through and counters with a back drop suplex. Robina rolls backwards, grabs Guvnor’s legs and has him locked in a cloverleaf leg lace Boston Crab.
West: We’ve seen this before! But out of what bag has Robina Hood pulled this one!
Harris: I suspect she’s been watching a few tapes in her spare time.
Guvnor is quickly reeling in pain as Robina has the lock synched in.
West: It looks like Robina has the submission perfectly locked in.
Harris: And listen to this crowd- it’s like chaos in there.
West: Every single person trying to urge Guvnor closer to the ropes.
He’s trying, really trying, the North American Champ. Inch slowly, now up on his hands and knees. Guvnor is on one hand as he extends with his right towards the ropes, wishing her just had a couple more inches to his reach. Robina can feeling the hold slipping little by little, and she quickly tries to transition to a grapevine ankle lock, but in doing so there is a moment on released tension that allows Guvnor to lunge and grabs the bottom rope. The ref tells Robina to break it up, and only after a count of four does she do so.
West: Desperation from The Guv’nor, you could see it in his face.
Harris: A remarkable sequence, West; we just saw both champion and challenger call upon some of champions past to try and get this win.
But Robina isn’t done with the attempted submission and she grabs Guvnor, turning him onto his back, but from this guard position he wraps his legs around her body and drags her down, locking in the Kimura.
West: The Hackney Lock! He’s got it locked in!
Harris: He’ll break her arm!
It takes maybe a second or more for the pressure to hit Robina, pain shooting out of her elbow and touching every nerve in her body. She’s fortunate because the ropes are close and quickly she scrambles and gets to safety. The hold is broken and both wrestlers get to their feet. Guvnor wipes the blood out of his eyes, sees Robina favouring the elbow and he gets in a gut kick, then nails a knee drop bulldog.
West: London Drop! This could the one!
Guvnor covers...
1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . 3-
NO!
Harris: YES! She kicked out!
In just the nick of time too. Guvnor, now showing a new burst on energy, flips up onto his feet and thumps his chest, popping the crowd. He walks across to the corner and slingshots onto the top turnbuckle.
West: What’s he doing here?
Harris: We’ve seen Guvnor use a top rope splash on very rare occasions.
West: This high risk from a wrestler known mostly for his powerful striking.
Guvnor stands up tall on the top rope, sets his radar and then lets fly...
FLASHFLASHLFLASHFLASH
...go the cameras as Guvnor is almost paused in mid-air.
BUMP
The crowd groan as Guvnor gets nothing but mat because Robina rolls away.
West: The Guvnor went for it, but nobody was home.
Harris: That could be critical! This could be the turning point.
Guvnor starts to rise, clutching his midsection; Robina rebounds off the ropes and floors him with a running STO. She covers...
1 . . . . 2 . . . . . . 3-
NO!
Shoulder up! Robina slams the mat hard with both hands. She lifts Guvnor, whips him into a corner and then nails him with a running big boot.
West: Sickening shot from Robina Hood!
Robina sees Guvnor sitting in the corner, then a smirk appears on her face. Seeing the chance to rub salt in the wounds she approaches Guvnor and plants her rump on his face, giving him the stinkface. But after a second she squeals and skips away clutching her buttocks.
West: What the hell?
Harris: He bit her! The Guv’nor just bit her on the backside!
Robina turns, but she never sees Guvnor coming as he explodes out of the corner and destroys her with a rolling elbow.
West: The Hammer- The Hackney Hammer! He just knocked her head off!
Robina is seemingly out cold, there is blood splatter everywhere presumably because her nose just exploded; Guvnor is down on his hands and knees a few metres away from his fallen opponent, breathing hard. The see a few replays of that last spot.
Harris: Look at that slo-mo, Shane! Look at the blood!
West: That’s gruesome- Robina’s nose has just been scattered all over the ring.
The super slo-mo replay really provides the vivid picture of Robina’s nose exploding like a grenade upon impact with Guvnor’s elbow. The crowd who have seen the replays on the boig screen are chanting
HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
It’s a few seconds before either wrestler starts moving and they rise together, staring at each other through crimson masks of their own produce- like a going away present; a scar for each of them to wear as a mark of remembrance of not just this day, but every bloody conflict that has led them to this defining moment. Between them there is a space as tense, dense and completely unbridgeable like a black hole, into which no person would dare to wander. There is enough electricity to fuel a swarming metropolis in the glare between the two, then an explosion of kinetic force, the like of which turn sky reaching cityscapes into masses of rubble, as they come together and trade titanic blows.
West: It’s neck and neck, blow for blow out there, neither one wants to give way.
But Guvnor, so at home in an exchange of strikes, in the bare bones brutality of knuckles on flesh, gets the advantage. Force overcomes conviction in this moment as he lands unrelenting blow after unrelenting blow, Robina simply unable to retort, retaliate, or respond in any way. She’s rocking, then comes a head butt that rocks her. Guvnor backs off, spins looking for the savate kick, but Robina has enough wits to arch herself backwards using a Matrix-style evasion of the assault. Momentarily Guvnor is off balance and that is all Robina needs to nail Guvnor with his very own Gator roll reverse neckbreaker.
West: The Gypsy Kiss! Robina has given The Guv’nor his own finishing move!
Robina covers and hooks the legs; there is a stunned silence as the ref drops and counts...
1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . 3
NO! Shoulder up- JUST!
West: He kicked out! The Guv’nor has just kicked out of his own move!
Harris: I thought she had it then. I really thought she had it.
So did Robina, and now she kneels prostrate, like a Muslim with their head bowed and hands pointed towards Makkah. She remains in this position for a few seconds before pulling herself up. Guvnor is rising slowly with his back to Robina. She grabs his shoulder turns him around but Guvnor nails her with a gut kick and looks for the Gypsy Kiss, but Robina counters with a backstabber.
West: Where did that come from- isn’t that...?
Robina covers...
1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . . 3
Winner: Robina Hood West: I’m sure that was-Harris: Spit out Shane!West: Robina Hood just won the North American Championship using Sienna Harrison’s own move.Harris: What? The crowd aren’t quite sure how to react as Robina rolls onto her back. The sound of her music draws her to her knees and the crowd start to applaud her effort, which has the effect of pulling the cork out of the bottle and the emotional floods. West: Robina Hood is in tears here! She’s finally achieved her dream- she’s an APW Champion.Harris: She’s a North American Champion- and the last ever for that matter. Robina gets to her feet, an unbelievably big grin stretched across her face. The ref hands her the title, but Guvnor steps in yanks it away, walking off to a corner. The crowd go silent with surprise and the music fades out. West: What’s going on here? The Guv’nor just took the title away.Harris: It’s not his to hold. Somebody stop this!Guvnor waits a few seconds then gestures for a microphone. Guvnor: I worked too hard, lost too much blood, broke too many bones, to let this championship be handed across like that, know what I’m saying? The crowd are intrigued; Robina sells confusion. Guvnor: I gave this championship my heart and soul for four months, and I believe it is something so much more now because of the pride we-.He gestures to Robina Guvnor: Put into our battles for it. So we’re going to do this right; we’re going to do this the way this championship and this brand deserves. The Guv’nor marches across to Robina, who sets herself for round two, but he places the belt in her hands, thrusts an arm up and shouts into the mic. Guvnor: You’re new, APW North American Champion!!!The crowd applaud and Robina breaks down into weeping again. Guvnor: Tonight we did this all for you. Blood, guts, glory and a big fat pay cheque- yeah all of that is safe, know what I’m saying? But tonight was a bit different: a testament, an ode, whatever you want to call it. It was for Monday nights, it’s all of us who dreamed of making it and found our opportunity in this ring, it’s for the North American Championship; it was for every single one of you.
Thank you.The crowd erupts; Guvnor puts a hand up to silence them. Guvnor: No, I don’t want to hear you cheer me. I want to hear one thing. Repeat after me...
MADE IN MELTDOWNThe crowd soon pick it up. MADE IN MELTDOWN! The Guvnor nods along as the chanting gets louder and louder. MADE IN MELTDOWN!
MADE IN MELTDOWN!
MADE IN MELTDOWN!
MADE IN MELTDOWN! The Guv’nor smiles and points at Robina clutching the belt in the middle of the ring, then exits the ring; the director cuts to a shot of Robina Hood weeping; then a shot of the crowd chanting; then to The Guv’nor walking back up the ramp, cheerleading all the way; finally to a close up of the Meltdown brand logo. West: Ladies and gentlemen, what a night, what a journey. For everyone on Meltdown I want to say goodnight and God bless; thank you for your amazing support and all the memories. We will miss you.Fade to the APW logo.
