I'm gonna go see them tonight. Gonna be my 2nd time seeing them Live.
Anyone here see them before? If so, share your stories.
First time I saw them was I think in 2009 during a Outdoor Rock festival. There was like 6 bands including KISS playing. It rained the whole freakin day. I was soaked. Wearing rain ponchos. Anyways, seconds before KISS hit the stage, the Rain Stopped and didn't rain again. I was able to find video's of all the songs on Youtube the next day, so I made my own Bootleg DVD of the show.

Man, KISS are fantastic live. I saw them back in... 2007, I think? Kinda lose track! It was at a festival so a similarly shitty day, probably. Honestly I don't remember a great deal apart from how epic it was. I wasn't much of a fan before that - the odd song aside - and they utterly converted me. I couldn't speak the next morning from screaming my lungs out, haha. Just a great show, though I'm sure if you see them regularly you get to know all the 'spots' and it doesn't feel so one-off special, Gene did his blood-dribbling bass solo, Paul did his cable flyover of the crowd... and I think the firework-strewn finale is about the only time I've not been vaguely annoyed by fireworks!!
Not sure exactly where they rank, but that show's gotta be at least in my top 20 if I sat down and thought about it. That doesn't sound like much, but I've seen hundreds of freakin' bands, and like I said... wasn't a fan before I happened to catch them. One of the greats, for sure. Anyone who doesn't understand why really does need to see them at least once.
Have a great time tonight, I know you will!
EDIT: I guess I saw them in 2008! Found a clip taken from roughly where I was in the crowd, haha. For a sec I thought one of those people was me, but they're not going batshit enough and they're holding up a phone so I guess it can't be. I wouldn't be doing that!

They did those same things when I saw them. On this tour, they have this big Mechanical Spider thing which looks very cool

The greatest show anyone can ever go to. I saw them back in 2000 in high school. Alot of weed was put in the air that night.

They did those same things when I saw them. On this tour, they have this big Mechanical Spider thing which looks very cool That sounds badass. Honestly, of all the bands I've seen, you know why the old boys generally steal the show? Shit like that. Most - by no means all, but most - young bands just don't put the same big, bombastic spirit into it. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect everyone to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds/dollars/euros on flashy stage props, but just having the moxy to say 'guys, what we need is a giant spiderbot'... that's the stuff, right there. KISS were no less about the show when they weren't filthy rich, and I've seen bands living in the backseat of their cars put on a way better show than some of the biggest modern names. I seriously think it's a dying art though. Far too much trying to look cool, not enough trying to look awesome.

I was given the option back in 99-01 around that time to go see either KISS or Snoop Dogg in concert. I happen to like KISS but chose Snoop because he had Xzibit and Eminem with him on the tour. First up in smoke tour I believe, maybe not. Busta Rhymes was suppose to be there but he was filming Halloween Resurrection. So maybe it was later than 99-01..
So I went and when Snoop got on stage he was smoking a blunt. When he got finished he cut the music off and told the people: "I'm out of weed, any of you "N Words" out there got some for the D-O-Double G?"
And I swear it was like a blanket covering the skies as joints were thrown up onto the stage. You could almost see them as being arrows in an old war being hailed through the air. It was beautiful, I was lost in aw with my jaw dropped. Then Xzibit came out and downed a 4th of Hennessy in one tip of the bottle. CRAZY! I regret never seeing KISS but what a concert..

Ya see...
i saw eminem twice.
I want to say 2001 at the docklands arena in London and 2003 at the Milton Keynes Bowl.
Eminmem was awesome both times, however Xzibit stole the show at the docklands and 'replaced' 50 cent at MK.
Cypress hill also opened at MK and basically the huge blunts came out.
However....
I would give all that up to see Kiss.
In an instant.

Ahaha, that's incredible. I can't beat it, but I once saw DAPHNE & CELESTE (ya know, U-G-L-Y o/~) play at Reading... I think before Rage Against the Machine came on, or it might have been Foo Fighters. Anyway. Bottles, man. Empty bottles, full bottles, full bottles filled with piss, it was like the Hate Crime version of the above. If you can Hate Crime against two wealthy white girls. You probably can these days! They managed to stick it out for one song and left. I have no idea what they were thinking in the first place. This is back when Reading Festival was still basically THE (albeit mainstream-y) hard rock/heavy metal festival in England. I wanna say 2000? Slipknot played and were still novel, and Limp Bizkit didn't get booed off, so it must've been about then. EDIT: Wait, Blade is in England too? What is this strange voodoo?? Also, I just liked my own post my mistake. Derp.
